hello not really sure how to start this but i just wanted to say that ur so so so talented like i know that seems sooo lackluster to say and just kinda a cookie cutter compliment but truly i stare at ur art for HOURSSS 😔 ill genuinely go “hm i need to go look at blake nevarroes art” & will just scroll on here or on twitter and just stare 👁️ its so truly pleasing to look at (putting my love for gort and cas aside 😛) like the way u render & the poses & the colors and just everything man idk how to even compose this in a way that’ll express it 😭 u dont have to respond to this or anything like that i just saw that u were in a funk & that u werent as proud of the most recent comic u put out (which i want to chew on like polly pocket clothes btw its scrumptious) & wanted to share my appreciation, as an artist myself 🥸 well more writer than artist but U get what i mean. just know i would frame every single piece of work u have done in gold antique frames & cover the walls of my room with them ur art style is one of my favorites ive ever come across 🩷 xoxo keep doing fantastic work & take care of urself <3

I'm reworking June, using his Mephistopheles' grandchild background.

(YES, it is strongly inspired by nevarroes's Cas, I love Blake and I love Cas A NORMAL AMOUNT, and since June was Mephistopheles' grandkid in his OG backstory, it kind of came back together.)

Thinking of making him a cambion (half-devil, half-god basically) and having a superior complex and be a dick to Raphael because of it, bc Raphael is half MORTAL, the lesser being-

What to say, this version of June returns to the roots of June's character who was raised (locked) in one of Mephistopheles' vaults for A LONG TIME.

June was conceived at the same time as his siblings of Bhaalspawn crisis, but was snatched away and locked in a vault by Mephistopheles almost immediately after his mother's death.

He only got out 20 years prior the BG3 and lost his wings in the process (he tore them off in the escape attempt and later sold them to Helsik. You know, the normal thing for anyone to do.)

He also has the most toxic relationship with Raphael and knew Gortash back in HoH (June was sometimes allowed out of the vault with supervision, one of Raphael's parties was one of these occasions. Of course he wandered around.)

It also settles Bhaal into some kind of a savior for June, because for him the worst thing ever is going back to that vault and the person he is afraid the most is not Bhaal, but Mephistopheles.

Idk, I think it's a nice change of dynamic for a bhaalspawn. Also yes, he still ate his mom.
