Today’s Tune - I’m Not Nice - Super Paper Mario

It’s OC Week! Or rather, it was supposed to be OC Week starting on the 15th.... oh well! BopBop certainly doesn’t mind what day it is! They have 2 different forms depending on the time of day, and while one might look a bit, uh, less friendly than the other one, BopBop is super friendly no matter what they look like! Just, maybe kinda bad at expressing it at when its dark out. Don’t fault them for it.

Cloud and Sephiroth go on a date. Which one is more awkward?

Yes.

They are both extremely awkward and it's great. I can see a few different scenarios, but let's go with this one:

Sephiroth was normally very aware of his surroundings; he had to be. However, today Zack had showed him something called "skibidi toilet" (see @rottenpumpkin13's blog here) and all other thought beyond the horror was secondary. Therefore, neither he nor the little trooper realized they had both stepped into a slippery minefield of spilled date fruits at the same time (also Zack's fault).

The pair collided and slipped on the date they'd both stepped on, falling flat on their backs.

"OH GAIA I'M SO SORRY SIR!" squeaked the trooper, scrambling up awkwardly and blushing the color of a strawberry. He appeared to be at least 83% limb by volume, not that there was much volume. In fact, simply colliding with Sephiroth at walking speed had launched him across the hall.

"You should watch your step," Sephiroth said, warning the trooper of the dates he now saw. The trooper frowned and turned even more red.

"Sorry sir, it won't happen again, I wasn't paying attention because Zack showed me this awful video and I couldn't think of anything beyond the horrors and oh Gaia am I rambling? I never talk this much, did I hit my head? Fuck I can't afford medical leave!" the cadet rambled, a small trickle of blood indeed flowing from his skull.

"Zack Fair?" asked Sephiroth.

"EEP! SORRY SIR I DON'T KN- I CAN'T RAT ON MY FRIEND at least I think he's my friend??? I don't know all I can think is brrrrr skibidi bopbop dumb sk-"

Sephiroth laid a heavy hand on the cadet's shoulder.

"Stop," he commanded. The trooper swallowed nervously, eyes unfocused. "I will escort you to medical, then punish Zackary."

To this day, Cloud is 1000% embarrassed, while Sephiroth thinks he handled the situation expertly, completely unaware that he admonished Cloud for the same thing he did, or that concussed chocobos take "punish Zackary" as something very bad and will cry for hours thinking their only friend is dead and it's their fault.
