don't try to convince me to watch/get into something if i say i don't want to. asking if i've heard of/seen something is alright, sending me anon after anon telling me why i should watch it isn't. obvious exception being if i explicitly ask for it.

if im in a bad mood/asking people to talk to me, please don't send cat pictures. i don't like cats and will probably make my mood worse. i understand it if that's all you've got but it does not help at all. (exception to mutuals who's cats i already like)

don't comment on my gender presentation/identity. making jokes is fine, but don't try to act like you know better than me.

if my labels do one day change, don't act like i was a fool for not figuring it out sooner. my relationship with gender is a fairly fluid one, albeit one that only changes once every few years.

don't compare me to my mutuals. i'm aware that me and a certain other blogger have a lot in common and it's funny to say we're the same person, but there's a limit where it stops being funny and just gets uncomfortable. it's alright to compare me to streamers or youtubers, just not people who i interact with.

don't put me on a pedestal or compliment me excessively. it's alright if you want to say something nice, but i don't like it when people try to "convince me" i am worthy of love or am a good person. it's awkward and uncomfortable and puts a lot of pressure on me.

don't call me feral/rabid/a creature or use exclusively the term "butch" to describe me. due to my disabilities and identity i have a lot of serious issues with being treated/viewed as unhinged or out of control. and i am a butch lesbian, yes, but i don't want that to be used to describe me as a person.

don't use demonic symbolism to portray me or represent me. angelic symbolism is alright as long as it is not in excessive amounts.

if you want to ask about my disabilities/gender/sexuality, feel free, but i will not debate you on it. my identity is my identity and you have no say in the matter.

i don't mind people talking about me behind my back/vagueblogging me, but if you have a legitimate problem with me, say so to my face or dm me.

I recognise that I have been shit at maintaining this type of thing in the past. I have mentioned most of the points already, but this centralises all of them in one convenient place. I will update the list if need be and make an announcement post if there are major changes. Feel free to ask questions if you need me to clarify anything!

Do:

Non-irl yandere/obsessive love blogs can reblog my posts for inspo/character purposes and the like. Just be respectful.

Send submissions or submit/tag me in posts you want me to see.

Give me compliments, titles, terms of endearment, and nicknames.

Flirt or say suggestive/NSFW things in general or towards me for fun. I am not a minor, and I will flirt back.

Block certain tags, such as my nsfw one (see my pinned post for my tag list).

Block this account if you don't like it, don’t report. You don't have to say anything before blocking. If you have genuine concerns, send an ask and speak to me directly.

Be aware that if you vent about personal issues in my inbox, my default is to give unsolicited advice. I am not good at providing sympathy/compassion/etc. Take any advice I may give with a grain of salt.

Note that almost all my posts are queued. I am typically slow to respond and not often active on here. I have a status report in my pinned post to tell you how my activity is.

So, this doc is very WOR specific, but still good to reference if anyone wants to do fanart of not just WOR but my other projects, too! If you have questions or concerns, please send me an ask!

I did my best to cover a few concerns I had over fanworks, my deepest concerns are humanizations of my WOR characters and 18+ art.

Humanizations are fine, but due to WOR's worldbuilding, might be a finicky topic with the whole "human/gods being dead but their souls live on in their possessions". I just want to be clear that any interpretation is fine, but some of my object ocs do have canon human/god forms.

18+ fanart is self-explanatory. I just want my boundaries respected, as well as keep NSFW out of the main tags for WOR. I included a guide on how to best filter and tag 18+ art. If you're an adult, I highly suggest reading it. Remember to respect my boundaries.

'Hail, True Body': my boundaries

Now that HTB has become an original horror story series by me, I have new boundaries about it as it surrounds my OCs! I'll be adding this to the Masterpost once I update/overhaul it, but here they are in the meantime for people who might be wondering :)

Shipping I am fine with people shipping characters (so long as the ships themselves aren't inappropriate - e.g. no adults with characters that are minors, no ships that are family members, etc.). I don't plan on there being any romance in the main story of Hail, True Body: first and foremost, it's about platonic, familial, and self-love. It's about what it means to be human when it's in direct conflict with the horrors happening all around. It's about coming to terms with trauma, hurt, and facing it to move forward. Romance won't come into it as that isn't really an aspect I want to tell though there might be the odd background character who is in a relationship with another background character. Whilst I don't mind you shipping my OCs, I do ask that you don't be weird about it: don't message or tag me in NSFW stuff or demand that I ship characters together, please. Platonic shipping is very welcome. There is plenty of platonic intimacy in the series - hugs, wound care, comfort, etc. - to be found!

Art & Fanfic You are more than welcome to draw artwork or write fanfic of the series! All I ask is that you tag it back to the fic series on Ao3 and tag me here if you can so I can see and support it - I love seeing what you all make! <3 This also goes for animatics, comics, playlists, and even cosplay! It doesn't have to be your actual age. It can be a ballpark. You can even be like "21+" or whatever.

Notice about a thing

Probably should make this a note on this account. Even though it's somewhat mentioned in my FAQ about me carrd (needs updating tho). Stuff about WOR's characters is already in the Interactions and Fanart Boundaries doc.

I'm fine with fanart of any of my characters, except for my daydream paras (Cyprus, Pyrrhus, Neuwien, Gg, and Celadie). I'm okay if you're over 18 and want to do fanart, but please keep it SFW. They are my personal characters; don't tag them as kin or comfort. Thanks.

Characters like Clara the Spoon Ballerina: if I made a note that they are meant for children's or family-friendly story type thing, please don't draw NSFW of them. This will result in a block.

(Also, Clara was a childhood creation of mine and I really do feel uncomfortable about someone depicting her in such a way. Please respect this.)
