🍁 Autumn Outdoors Set 🍁

Sims 4, Base game compatible. 31 items

While working on my next big WIP, I realized there were some other needed things, so I made this set first. Converted from WoW. Note some of the tree items are names as "bush", because when exporting they were named as such and placed the "trunk" below the ground line, but while editing these I decided to raise some to let them look like trees.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

It's rough cause the hives cannot be opened and inspected right now given how cold it is, so we don't know how the bees are doing in there. Can only hope they take advantage of the maple trees blooming like they did last year, cause spring flowers are an outright rarity these days.

#i wish the fields hadnt been ruined #they were literal color explosions of numerous flowers #red clover sham rock daisies buttercups thistles raspberry wild strawberry etc etc #but then my dad had to make decisions while in the pits of depression #and renting out the soil for the most incompetent guy ever to use #even IF you started trying to salvage the grounds now it wouldnt show results within my lifetime #not all of those flowers are ones bees take pollen from #like last year we DID get an explosion of flowers in JUNE but #unfortunately few if any are relied on by tame bees #like our lilac bushes in the garden bloomed for the first time in 20 years #but even IF bees took from those itd force us to swap out all the frames and replace the wax #it just gets stuck solid #anyway i still dont have a tag for my rambling #silvi talks #that'll do

秋の七草ってご存知ですか？

春の七草は食べるのに対して、秋の七草は花を見て楽しみます。萩が咲き始めると秋が深まっていくことを感じます。

華やかなコスモスを見ても秋を感じるんですけど、萩はより日本の秋を感じます。だから日本庭園で萩が咲いてるのを見つけると嬉しくなって撮ってしまいますよね。

でも、萩って撮るのが難しいですね。花は小さいし風が吹けばよく揺れて撮りにくい。

でも、望遠レンズで撮ることが多いんです。広角レンズで撮ってみたら面白いかなって思うんですけど、花が小さいから目立たないんですよね。

いろいろ試しながら撮っていくのも面白いですよね。

Barring a few cute exceptions I only plant flowers that are perrenial and able to survive the winters here, but most of them do their surviving by dying back to the ground and popping back up in spring. But of course some are to weak or get eaten I suppose so this time of year is really just me standing on my balcony staring at seemingly empty pots going "Are you coming back? Are you there still?? hello???"

#Shout out to my foxglove for already putting out a nice little bush #remaining suspicious about my coneflowers bc that plant already did not give me the type of flower that was advertised so it seems to #have been a bad batch of an otherwise trustworthy garden center #the herbs are all behaving perfectly #and my clover and all my sedums have kept growing so I'll have to split some up and give away #and then you have my non-hardy perrenials like my coleus collection who are just squeezed against the window crying
