Hey my babies 👋🏼🤗. How are you? Wow, has it really been that long? It's been 1 year and 2 months apparently and it doesn't seem so 😅. I feel like a part of me should apologize for the absence, so I'm sorry 🙏🏼 but, to be completely honest, the other part of me doesn't want to justify because this is just an app we use to distract ourselves from the reality of daily life 🤭🤣. So, for those who have been wondering, my recap is that I'm 31 now, I've been unhealthy/sick for several things, last year I grieved for my baby girl dog who passed away after 12 years (and who took a piece of my soul with her), I changed my job and I’m being mobbed by my boss every day 😅. The several most important good news? I adopted a beautiful puppy girl in September of this year 😍🤩 and my girlfriend whom you also know well came to me here in Italy twice; once for three months last year, and once for our 2-year anniversary this year by staying for almost a month ❤🥰😍🤩. Oh and, of course, I've started writing again as of today. This obviously has to be put among the good news 🤣. I won't hide from you that I've missed writing, so here I am, although I can't promise that I'll be very active in answering the asks as before due to my various commitments, but I'll try to be here more often 😉.

P.S. I'll only post the 6 most recent asks I've received because I didn't want to create a way too long post, but thanks to everyone for the recent and past messages (even last year's ones) ❤🙏🏼.

Fun fact (a useless one)

When I was younger (around 12/13) I heard Worth it for the first time and I directly began to hate Fifth Harmony and this song.

Since I didn't speak English, I tried to find what Worth it meant thanks to my imagination and thought "refaite" (remade) because it kinda sounded like Worth it (not at all now that I come to think of it).

And being "refaite" in French means that you went under plastic surgery and I was like "oh, I don't understand why they are proud of being fake, I Hate this song, I hate these girls".

I heard Work From Home a bit later after it came out when I was 14 or so, and I didn't really know that it was the same group at the time and started to hate them because I thought the clip video was too "sexual" for me (other word to say that I was gay and couldn't handle my gay panic anytime I had to watch them dance in this). Then I clicked the dots and I was like "Am I really surprised it's the same group?"

And after that I never really heard of them ever again for some time. I never went through the pain when Camila left because I didn't know anything about them, but when Camila released Havana, that's when everything started for me.

My sister listened to this song 24/7, in the bathtub, in her bedroom, in the living room: E.VE.RY.WHERE. and I began to compare it to Despacito and thought "it's better than this but it's beginning to bug me". However one day, it didn't bug me anymore and I began to appreciate this song.

At the time, it was December, 2017 (14y.o).

At the time, I was also in love for the first time with a girl but I was not ok with this. In my head, I would end up with a boy no matter what. Then, in December, I decided that I would tell my straight friend that I have a crush on her. I tried to tell her but the day before the holidays I lost my guts and didn't say anything.

That when Camila entered the chat.

As always, my sister was in the bathroom listening to Havana and I asked her the name of the song. I went back to my bedroom, started to search for the song, added it in my playlists.

A few days after, I was looking for a video to watch on YouTube and there was this video with a beautiful Latina girl with the gay flag in the background with written on it something like "Proof that Camila Cabello is gay". My first reaction was trying to remember who is Camila Cabello, then I clicked. I saw her during interviews then I saw her on a television with four other girls and one of them grabbed my attention really quickly.

I was so excited I was like "damn, they are so beautiful: who are they?" So I scrolled to see what videos were under this one and I saw That's my girl, Flex, Work From Home and I was like "no.freaking.way".

I started to watch Camren videos and then fell in love with Fifth Harmony step by step when I discovered that they are not bishy girls, that they were funny, cute and everything that makes them so lovable and themselves.

Last but not least, I binge-watched Camren videos for a week and it made me realize that I can be happy too, that I should not hide my gayness to live a normal life because at the end of the day, what is normal for me is to hold and kiss a girl, not a boy. They helped me to figure out who I am and how to be who I am in some ways. Also gave me guts to come to my straight girl crush, then Camila's first Album helped me go through the heartbreak after my crush "answer", but that's another story for another time.

Why tf camila keeps on singing about green eyes and talk about sin and stuff and so many other proofs that people can’t explain. it’s damn obvious there were real in the past

we didn’t ruin camren. their label did. not only that but they were young and they had a lot of eyes on them, especially from management and the fans. of course lauren is gonna deny it but camila has never denied it and i don’t think she ever will. as for lyrics and easter eggs, they’re her way of telling a story and we just have to put the pieces together

Hey! For your 5h/camren research I'd recommend looking through these blogs: emisonme, karlaswine, fa-by. They have a few masterposts about the backstory of 5h.

thanks for the suggestion but wildly i've been through all of those. nothing is organized as far as i can tell though. no one has a pinned post like i do so it's hard to find helpful timelines/masterposts.

the other issue is those are also late-stage shipper blogs so while i'm sure there's some good history and nuggets of info on there (and i did scour through them to find anything helpful that i could) it's also just a lot of conspiracy theories and counting obvious coincidences as "proof". it's a lot to sift through to find the good stuff.

y'all know we have a high standard for what counts as good ship evidence around here and things like the girls tweeting something similar six months apart isn't gonna be useful for my research.

now if you have a link to a fully constructed timeline (and yes i've been to the camren timeline blog and went through all of it, sadly it's incomplete and poorly organized imo) of their early years that'd be great but remember- stuff like the girls hugging or laughing together or holding hands isn't important for our breakdowns on the pod because all the 5h members did that.

i also went through all the masterposts on a blog called camrensrealbish and it was helpful though some of it was too reachy to include in the episode.

that said are there any specific moments i missed that you think are needed to round out the lauren episode? lauren's comments on camren will be there and the time they shared a hotel room and a meal on tour will be on there.

basically larries are people who bent over backwards trying to prove that harry and louis were dating. like constant song analysis and over analysing behaviour when they were literally part of the same band 💀 were they together? idk, but the crazy theories are starting to give me flashbacks. i’ll give props to wonze fans tho because i feel like if we got solid proof they would stop, but larries still kept going after louis explicitly said that “larry is the biggest load of BS ever”

Okay what I’m getting from this may be a delusional theory but stick with me 👀

We obviously know they both hold a place in their hearts for this author in general and it’s not surpsrise since she’s such an amazing author..

But the reach to this post is finding the 5th sentence on the 56th page..I’m not sure why but I thought that would mean something in a way but who knows really ..i have this book laying around so that’s why I did it out of curiosity.

Okay back to my original theory!

I feel like that piece on page 181 is meant for Lauren. In a way I feel like she represents the man and Camila the girl. Saying Camila cried and everything hurts is so relevant to her now..she had an Instagram live and was extremely sad and drained: you could tell and she even said she needed help with her mental health..

Am I being annoying by still being a Camren shipper today, in 2023? Lauren hates it. But then, I just ship them so much coz they look good together and they seemed to be so authentic and pure with each other. I don't mind if they are not together today, I just really believe that they had that special something in the past.

From what I think and know: as long as you don't bring to their faces it's ok.

You are free to ship two people and in the beginning Lauren was ok with that as well because no matter if it was real or not, it was also cute and they found that cute and funny.

What has changed everything is when shippers began to try to out Lauren by changing her Wikipedia page, when people would harass their boyfriends/girlfriends because only camren matters, when no matter what they were doing it was a "camren proof". The Wattpad stories about Lauren being a psychopath/ someone who turns people gay like a predator (but then a few months ago she said she likes turning people gay but that's off topic right now).

You can ship them and I won't be one to judge you, just like many of us. You can but the only rule is to be respectful and not bug them all the time about it. I think there are worse things like sexualising the girls for instance but people often forget about that.

Love, be inspired and dream of true love freely.
