Round 1 Starboard: Buttons (Our Flag Means Death) vs Captain Briggsy (Sea of Thieves)
Captain Briggsy is a skeleton lord who can turn invisible and send people flying with a stomp. Meanwhile, Buttons has some sort of telepathic connection with a seagull.
[the pirates MAY use any special skills or equipment they possess. They may NOT call on any friends or creatures to assist them. For the sake of this tournament, all pirates CAN be killed and cannot come back to life during the fight. Remember: this isn't about favorites, this is about fighting power. A draft scene from the next chapter of Death-Fires Danced
“Well, I walked up to the road towards Miyashima, just to see if I could find anything interesting.” Taking a seat just outside of their campfire circle, the skeleton reached into her bag, pulling out several sheets of paper. “Which I did. These are all wanted posters, if you can believe it.”
Wanted-
Oh.
“Of us, I assume?”
“Oh, there were a merchant’s boatload of them,” Briggsy commented offhandedly, “I only took the interesting ones. Like this.”
Even before Katara could catch a glimpse of the poster, Aang gasped. “Wow, that looks a lot like me!”
Well, we already knew they would be looking for him…
“Here, this one’s yours.”
Huh?
Sure enough, when Katara unfurled the paper, she saw her own face on it, in ink. Southern Waterbender. Reported traveling with the Avatar. Kill if possible.
Kill-
“They’re afraid of you.” Hama was leaning over her shoulder to look, her voice quiet and dark. “As they should be.”
“Wait, you’re saying I don’t get a wanted poster?”
The skeleton’s ruby eye flashed as she turned to Sokka. “You’ll get there someday.”
Uhm…
Is that really a good thing?

Sea of Hunger Games
We haven’t done this torture in a while! Let’s give it a whirl! Hunger Games x Sea of Thieves (ft. some of my own characters which you can find in my fanmade series here!)
ROUND 1: BEGIN!!!
Watch, they’re going to somehow use these to summon undead pirates, knowing them.
How?! You’re both skeleton lords! Neither of you have noses!!!
...it’s the quiet ones you have to look out for...
Calling it now: Ruth’s gonna make a Molotov Cocktail.
I feel like the roles should be reversed here...
Strangely in-character for Duke.
She used the Molotov Cocktail.
Stella, you are the descendant of a legendary ice dragon. HOW IS THIS HOW YOU GO?!
ROUND 2: BEGIN!!!
Rathbone being petty as usual! XD
Ok, this image is kinda adorable!
Moira and Graymarrow lose their child, so they steal Flameheart’s instead!
I mean...yeah, I could see them doing that.
I mean, I wouldn’t put it past him, but c’mon man. That’s one of your crewmates!
Some mother-son action goin’ on!!
Idk why I find this so funny, I just do!
ROUND 3: BEGIN!!!
Moira avenging Aisling while Horatio avenges Chi!
Father-son bonding with Ruth being a fun aunt!
That’s what you get for stealing from him, Flamefart!
“I’M!” *BASH* “NOT!” *BASH* “JOINING!” *BASH* “YOUR!” *BASH* “ALLIANCE!!!” *BASHBASHBASHBASHBASH!!!*
I...can skeletons even die from...? Y’know what? I won’t question it.
ROUND 4: WE’RE HALFWAY THERE! WHOAAAAAAA!!!
“That’s for betraying my master, you little sh-!”
Azura: “Why can’t we be friends...?”
ROUND 5: BEGIN!!!
Welp, Larinna just got marooned.
New ship on the horizon?
Ok, this makes even LESS sense! You are a FIRE skeleton! HOW?!
THAT’S YOUR WIFE!!!
Who’d win? A powerful skeleton lord and a former ice dragon, or a drunk boi and a non-binary bean?
Round 6: Why did I decide to do this again...?
A series of unfortunate events...
...wut?
Huh?!
H U H ? ! ? ! ? !
“THE GAMES ARE MINE TO COMMAND!!!”

I did not expect Briggsy v Buttons to be the nail-biter of the week, but here we are

So it took me a while to get down a look I really liked in sea of thieves and like any create-a-character/OC type, you end up giving a personality and backstory to your creation.
Genevieve, better known as “Captain Wreckage”, is a respected and feared captain in the sea of thieves; hearty, dangerous, borderline hedonistic and a model pirate in every respect. She earned her name for her mantra of “let loose the cannons first and ask questions later”, though few questions could be asked of the smoking, sinking wrecks left in her wake. Originally from France, she ran away in her early teens to the adventurous-sounding sea of thieves and began her career as a crew member under the infamous Captain Briggsy. A close friend of, and like much of the crew, a part-time lover to their captain, she thrived under Briggsy’s command. Though she left and became a revered captain herself, she and Briggsy remained close familiars; she was left crushed at learning of Briggsy’s curse and transformation into a skeleton lord. Amid her typical drinking, sailing, fighting and plundering, she also sought a cure for her friend and fellow captain. She did not lose hope, like others, upon hearing of Briggsy’s destruction in the search for the shroudbreaker, and is now set on a new course. Having stolen Briggsy's skull back from the order of souls, she seeks a means by which to restore Briggsy from the oblivion of death to the living world, free of her curse.
Her full gear and accessories list is: cursed captains hat, admiral shirt, gloves of the wailing barnacle, pirate lord jacket, parrot belt, seafarers leggings and skirt, parrot boots, imperial sovereign hair(rich purple color), imperial sovereign eyepatch, nightshine parrot hook, pegleg of the ashen dragon, tattoos of the ocean deep, stream sailor makeup, revenge of the silver blade cutlass, all 3 parrot firearms.

A draft scene from the next potential crossover AU
Around the campfire, Azula could see a collection of huddled figures. They were not bandits, though, not what the Fire Lord had sent her to burn out as a first test - they were skeletons without muscle or skin on them, somehow walking and hissing quietly at each other in an unknown language, words unintelligible. Some were holding long curved swords, other strange metal staves that were clearly weapons of some kind, but like nothing the princess had ever seen or heard of.
Father, she realized with a shiver, had been wrong.
Spirits-
But spirits don’t look like this, or have weapons-
There was one figure, shrouded in darkness at the edge of the fire’s light. She could not make it out - likely another one of the nightmarish skeleton-things, hiding.
She would burn them out. They were not human - there was no point in trying to keep them alive, dead and walking as they were-
I have to-
Dropping down from the tree she was in - thank you, Ty Lee - Azula breathed, both arms swinging forward as an arc of blue flame leapt from her fingers. The strange undead barely had time to react before the powerful strike was on them, bones clattering and falling to the dirt-
They were all gone. Her plan had been successful - the skeletons had been as frail as their appearance suggested, and all too vulnerable to a single wave of concentrated fire.
Thank Agni-
Sweeping her arms up in a follow-through to her devastating attack, Azula extinguished the fire at the edge of the clearing - and then she saw the lone figure outside the light stand.
“Who-”
Long, wild, bleached hair cascaded out from under a gaudy, almost macabre hat, red robes smoldering. And a mask - a mask like a bird’s, adorned with little sparkling jewels - with a single ruby eye gleaming from beneath it.
No-
How did you-
This was something different - worse than the other, lesser skeletons, a great leader, and Azula’s spine tingled in horror as it raised a golden sword in one hand, the other arm swinging up. She moved to respond, shifting to the side as she cast her own arms out into a circle-
The lightning was not quick enough. She had barely begun to separate the energies within her before a crack and a lance of searing pain from her right shoulder shattered her concentration, the strange weapon in the demon’s left hand smoking as it charged towards her. Frantically Azula kicked out, a wild arc of flame slamming into her opponent, but it did nothing except unbalance her, that and the pain enough-
“Now, fool,” a cold voice hissed as she fell, “do you see who you’re dealing with?”
I-
And then she hit the ground, rolling from her side to her back with a drawn-out, painful thud. Before she could so much as even think of rebounding to her feet, a heavy boot positioned itself over her chest, the sea raven-esque mask-
Just as suddenly, the thing hissed, a note of shock in its raspy voice. “A child?”
What-
The lurid red eye seemed to be boring into her soul, but the skeleton’s tone was far different - recognizably human, even, if warped and deadened. Azula could feel something warm and thick - blood, I’m bleeding, what was that - slowly flowing down her shoulder.
“What is it,” the voice hissed, “with children trying to fight me?”
“Father sent me.” Her voice was weak - pitiful, even, scared, and she hated it. “I have to, for-”
“Stop talking.” With a swift shake of its head, the skeleton rasped, something like a sigh, as it reached down into its cloak. “And count yourself lucky my shot only grazed you, idiot child.”
Lucky-
Taking a deep, shuddering breath, Azula spoke - or something else spoke for her, terror perhaps, her voice soft. “Don’t draw this out, please-”
“I don’t kill children, I’m not one of them.”
What-
“You’re saying,” the thing began again, a piece of tattered cloth in its hand - her, it must have been female, I don’t know - as it reached for her bleeding arm, “that your father sent you to kill me.”
“Yes.”
And that - that was bad, she realized, very bad-
She had lost - been defeated by some spirit, or a cursed human, or something - and it wasn’t even going to kill her. It was trying to heal-
But Father-
He won’t-
It doesn’t matter-
The skeleton looked at her, red gemstone eye still glowing in the darkness. “Clearly your father is a piece of shit, then.”
