EQUESTRIAN VASCO and here I thought I couldn't love your ocs anymore 😩 as an equestrian it is so nice when you find someone who also has equestrian ocs!!
It is literally so hard to find equestrian ocs outside of the immediate equine art community and its a nice breath of fresh air! <3
Yeah! He's an outdoorsy type and wealthy enough to keep horses, I reckon he's been riding since very young age and usually gets along with animals well. On top of that, his hobbies include falconry, hunting and fencing.
Please temper your expectations though, I know very little about horses, how they work and what you do with them ´v`' There's a good chance I might get things backwards despite my best efforts.

Another very funny headcanon is that Adrian is the youngest Coven Head. Raine and Darius are canonically in their 40s, Terra, Construction, Potions, Healing, and Oracle look 60+, and Eberwolf is [INFORMATION REDACTED] but Adrian? 31 and feeling fresh! His joints don’t even hurt when he gets up in the morning. Only Millennial Coven Head and he’s going to make it everyone else’s problem. His coworkers hate him.

Slott’s run had Sue’s characterization be that she was kind of a buzzkill and overly controlling of her children and brother.
This two part tie-in seems to be leaning into the idea that Sue is a people person. Who, maybe ironically, makes people feel seen.
Writers tend to be inconsistent with Sue since the Fantastic Four’s core character was pretty much set since the Lee-Kirby run EXCEPT Sue whose characterization was The Girl and after she stopped being The Girl she didn’t get an iconic lasting consistent core character.
Having her be the people person is better than some stabs at her.
Although I’m surprised that the Baxter building suddenly has an extensive staff for her to be on good personal terms with.
The Slott run made the Fantastic Four seem like a family business - one that could tear a hole in the universe accidentally but still a small operation without outside hires.
I’m not complaining. I like when superheroes have a civilian support staff. It’s why I’m always thrilled for Jarvis to show up.

tbh, as much fun as I'm having with making victorian skirts etc, I do really think that next year I'm going to focus much more on making menswear. it's more practical for me, it suits me better, and I just feel better in it.

me, noticing that I've picked up a lot of the body language and physical tics of the autistic character from the show I've been watching lately the same way I usually tend to absorb the speech patterns of characters I identify with: huh. sure hope this doesn't Dawn Any Realizations upon me.

I am still a pessimist about Tumblr though, because ultimately no website has ever cared about its userbase (not at a fundamental policy level). If it's beginning to model itself off of TikTok with the 'For You' page being default for new users, or the Tumblr Live shit, or whatever else, it's not because they don't care about 'Tumblr's Identity' and the material draw of this website, it's because those other sites draw in money (and a more 'normie' userbase).
A lot of the comments I'm reading right now are like, but the reason we like Tumblr is because it's not those other websites, and I'm sitting here thinking that this falls on deaf ears lol. That doesn't matter. The modern corporate conception of userbase retention is brand over material substance, and they think that users like TikTok and will always like Tiktok and Twitter and they just need to imitiate that because we're here for the abstract 'Tumblr', not the material 'Tumblr'.
It should be said that yeah, I have been dipping into tags where new offsite users have been engaging and they do express confusion at how to navigate the site without algorithms, and I've definitely seen criticism of AO3 rooted in a lack of algorithm when it requires you to use the sorting system and navigate the site yourself (hint: find an author you like, go through their whole dashboard, go through their bookmarks, find authors from those bookmarks, and read their bookmarks). So there clearly is some need to cater to new users, but that doesn't mean fundamentally compromising the point of Tumblr. Also like, you can learn how to use it pretty easily? Does no one know how to do that? Lurk, observe, then post. Visit tags. Actually look for things you like.
But yeah ultimately it is always going to come down to profit margins, and I'm torn between wanting to support Tumblr (I don't use any website/social media stuff except Tumblr and AO3) and accepting that the website will keep going in this direction.
I mean to be totally fair - I didn't expect to keep using Tumblr after the booby ban. Most people thought that was the website's final death knell. The thing that's really uncertain about the Internet now is basically like, blogging (and microblogging, like Tumblr) and text-based websites probably have no replacement because everything is going video/image or micro-micro interaction like Twitter. It's not like you can go from LiveJournal to Tumblr.
