I feel like everyone is at fault for the fall of CM Punk in AEW.

It's CM Punk's fault for letting things get personal and lash out instead of being professional and doing the crowd dive and reinjuring himself at All Out, the media scrum, the brawl out and letting shit Ryan Nemeth said on Twitter, banning Matt Hardy/Christopher Daniels and letting Jack Perry get him so incensed that he caused an incident at the biggest event in AEW's entire existence.

It's Dipshit Meltzer and Bitch Alvarez for spreading rumors that Punk got Colt Cabana fired and all the shit they have reported on him

It's The Elite's fault for trying to intimidate him in Punk's locker room, not willing to meet with Punk to squash the beef before Punk actually returned to AEW and all the passive aggressive shit they pulled post-All Out and post-Punk firing. They are the Executive Vice Presidents. THEY HAVE LEADING ROLES IN THE FUCKING COMPANY, Punk was one of the employees, they should not be refusing to meet with him. That's like a MCDonald's manager refusing to work with his cook or cashier. But in the end they won and That's what a Young Bucks victory looks like. A victory lap in a mostly empty arena.

It's Hangman's fault for even going through with that stupid fucking "worker's rights" promo and slapping Punk in the mouth during their match when it wasn't a spot they even agreed to

It's Tony Khan for refusing to be the boss. For refusing to stopping Punk at the media scrum, for not making it public earlier "CM Punk did not get Colt removed from AEW, I sent him to ROH because they needed him" or hell, he could've sat Punk and Cabana in a room and got them to talk it out, maybe not be friends, but be cordial and not the straw that broke the camel's back. Not sitting Punk and Hangman in a room before their match and getting them to squash the beef. Not getting Punk and the Elite to mend bridges before Punk returned.

Punk returning was always going to be a disaster if they did not fix the problems. If you don't heal the wound it festers and one party wanted to make amends, the other didn't and it led to a giant clusterfuck. Punk acted like a giant child, yes. But Punk is also right, he worked with children and Tony Khan comes off as a big child with a trust fund(especially after he was dancing while Mox was concussed)

In the end everyone involved is at fault for not making it work. Punk is gone and AEW is thriving. Only time will tell what's next for Punk, but this will go down as both a high and an all time low for Punk. It will go down as an all time low for the backstage bullshit and the shit he stirred A high for the feud with MJF and going out on a high note with his match with Samoa Joe. Like Bret Hart in WCW, it could have been better.

Poveglia

A brief History:

421: first mentions of the Island Poveglia

1379: Evacuation due to an attack on the island

1645: Building of one of five oft the „Octagone“ in the lagoon of venice

1776: Becomes Checkpoint for people traveling to Venice by ship

1793: Island becomes temporary „Lazaretto“ becaue of cases of the plague on two ships

1805: Becomes permanent „Lazaretto“, destruction of the church San Vitale, clocktower becomes lighthouse

1814: Lazaretto closes it‘s doors

1922: Existing Buildings become Psychiatric Hospital are converted to a retirement home later

1968: Retirement home closes its doors and Poveglia is briefly used for agriculture

2014/15: Plans are being made to convert the Island into a luxury-resort, a park with restaurants, a Hotel and a marina, ect.

Buildings and other places

Clocktower: built in the 12th century, was a part of San Vitale

Psychiatric Hospital: „Reparto Psichiatria“

Bridge: leads to fields and trees

Plague Pits: burial grounds for the victims of the plague

Houses for living and offices

It is also said to have a prison building, but that is not confirmed.

Legends

A doctor ,who is said to have practiced lobotomies, allegedly jumped from the clocktower in 1930. Some patients saw his ghost on the island.

The Ground on the Island is said to be 50% human remains.

Countless ghosts of plague-victims and patients of the mental hospital are rumoured to be at the island

It was really nice and calm on Poveglia, as far as I know we were the only people on the island when we explored the buildings.

Nobody is taking care of the place at the moment, so everything was overgrown by the plants. It almost felt like you had to fight your way through a dschungle sometimes, you could really feel nature being back in control of the whole island.

There were a lot of birds, mostly pidgeons, which acted as little jumpscares from time to time. I also could have sworn that I‘ve heard footsteps in the bushes, but that probably was a bird as well.

I‘ve never felt uncomfortable at any point, it was really really nice and I whish we could have stayed a little longer. I hope I‘ll get to come back some day and explore a little more, maybe cross the bridge this time and explore another building we didn‘t have time for.

Time really seemed to be frozen on Poveglia, sadly some people still leave their rubbish there, but you can still kind of feel the days, before Poveglia was abandoned.
