▶️ Changbin being in love with Chichi for 8 minutes straight [probably part1]

Changbin sits staring at his phone on the couch backstage during SKZ-TALKER. Han comes over with the camera and asks something when Chichi inadvertently enters the frame trying to improve the micro port. Changbin immediately gets up to help, but Chichi manages to fix it. Changbin slowly sits back down and Han laughs at him.

Another scene from SKZ-TALKER, behind the scenes of the famous photos posted by Changbin on Bubble, Chichi doodles on a piece of paper. She finally looks up at Changbin with the camera and blinks a few times.

"Are you recording?"

"I'm recording."

Chichi laughs, then hides behind a piece of paper.

"Why?"

"What are you drawing?"

"Something for STAY. I want to send it to them on Bubble later."

"Ah, okay, okay..."

"Where's Hyunjin? I'll ask him what it looks like."

"Why do you need Hyunjin, I can tell you that it looks so good."

Chichi laughs again, but this time hiding her face in sleeves, Changbin laughs too.

One of the "Your Friendly Neighbour, Chichi!" episodes.

"Changbin is very good at Korean. I know how it sounds, it should be obvious, he's Korean after all. But trust me, his vocabulary, his ability to make wordplay... He's on a whole other level. Just when I think learning Korean is finished for me, Changbin comes with a rough version of the song and shows it to me. I read it and sometimes I don't understand a word, as if he was creating a new language. But he explains what the phrase means, he is very patient and enriches my vocabulary. I love him, I love our moments together when he explains to me what he meant. He opens up to me and I want to listen and listen and listen to him endlessly."

One of the interviews, the Stray Kids are sitting on raised stools holding plastic pointers with a hand with the index finger outstretched.

Question: If you could be in a relationship with one of the members, who would you choose?

Changbin and Chichi do not look at each other, but they chose each other. Chichi hides her face behind sleeve and starts laughing, so Changbin has to explain his choice first.

"Well... Chichi is a really good and caring person. She takes care of all of us along with Chan and is a huge support."

MC: Why are you talking about "us"? Tell me why YOU chose her!

Changbin laughs, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"She always listens to me. Since she's with us, she's the first one who listens to my songs and what I have to say about them. She's like my safe place. I always come to her when I want to feel at home. Plus we have a lot in common interests, so it's always nice to talk to her. Also, she's so talented, I could watch her dance for hours."

Chichi finally looks at him, grunting softly.

"I chose Changbin because I also think we get along great. He's helped me a lot with Korean, he's really helping me all the time, to be honest. He's always interested in whether I ate or slept, he asks a lot about my life and tries to make it easier. It's really sweet... And of course, in addition to a good heart and great talent, he is also... handsome."

Chichi laughs and buries her face in Hyunjin's shoulder, the rest of them, including him, start laughing at her.

A scene from "Stray 9th", Chichi and Changbin are together at the gym doing his challenge. Chichi is working out on the treadmill, and Changbin is staring at her with buttery eyes, speechless.

"Hey, hey." She adjusts her hair and mask. "I'm coming back from Japan. The rest stayed over, but I'm coming back to Korea, straight from the show. I haven't even changed my clothes yet... I have an exam tomorrow, so I have to go back." She showed her notebook and laughed a little, then glanced to the side for a moment. "But I'm not coming back all alone." She pans the camera and briefly shows Changbin sitting next to her, doing something on his phone. "Silly. He insisted on flying with me so I wouldn't be lonely. My precious..."

An episode of "Your Friendly Neighbor, Chichi!". Chichi reads the comments on her phone, then glances at the camera. "Hee? A ring? Oh!" She shows a ring on her other hand, with a small diamond on it. "It's beautiful, isn't it? I got it from Changbin when I passed the exam... It's beautiful." She reads the comments again with a dreamy smile, then puts her hand over her mouth and laughs, embarrassed for a moment. "No, no! Don't get this wrong, it's not an engagement ring! No, no, how can you think that!"

One of the encore stages after Stray Kids win in the music show with "Case 143". Changbin during his "Can I be your boyfriend?" line points at Chichi, who, embarrassed, runs to hide behind Hyunjin.

An episode of "All Night Duo's Night"**. Chan creates something on the computer and Chichi reads something on the phone, then smiles. Chan notices this.

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"Changbin asks if I'm hungry."

"It's 3am, why isn't he sleeping? And why doesn't he ask me stuff like that?" Chan pretends to be offended, but Chichi blushes and hides behind the phone.

One of the Stray Kids group lives at the hotel. Chichi, Felix, Hyunjin and I.N read the comments. Hyunjin looks up from his phone.

"Who is whose roommate?"

"Mine is Changbin." Chan answered. "But he has never slept in my room with me yet!"

"Heee? What do you mean?" Han moved closer to him.

"He never came back to his room at night."

Chichi laughs under her breath, putting the phone aside for a moment on the bed.

"Because he was with me! I was studying for the exam and he was next to me working on the laptop."

"So he hasn't slept at all this time?!"

"We slept together!" Changbin called, and Han sighed dramatically and hit him on the knee, and Chichi hid her face in her hands.

"But not like this!"

* "Scars" is a very important song for Chichi due to her self-harm issues in the past.

** "All Night Duo's Night" is an irregular live series of Chan and Chichi, who are known for not sleeping much - Chan is producing and Chichi is choreographing and studying for college. During some of these late-night get-togethers, they decide to do a short livestreams.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do this right now.", her voice was quiet.

She was about to leave again, but this time he was fast enough to grab her wrist. He didn't apply any pressure, but the young woman had no fight left and let him hold her in place.

Seungmin appeared in the doorway. "Sorry guys, but you need this.", he closed the door to the practice room. The two best friends knew they were locked in when they heard a key turning in the lock. How the hell did Seungmin even get a key for the room?

"Changbin, please let me go.", Chichi turned towards the young rapper who still holding her wrist in his hand. But instead of following through with her request, he shook his head, "Please, Ichi, I just need to talk this through with you. Just hear me out. I'm begging you!" He gave her arm a small squeeze and let her go right after in hopes of having convincer her to listen to him, letting his hands slide into his pockets, "Besides, I don't think they'll let us out anytime soon, unless we talk."

The older girl sighed, before sitting on the floor in front of him. She didn't want to move over to the couch in the corner of the practice room - too afraid that it would be comfortable and she'd lean onto him like she always used to do. It was something she couldn't do anymore.

It didn't take Changbin long to sit down aswell, facing her. He thought she would not notice the way his hands were shaking. It was confusing to the fake maknae - Why was he nervous, when she was the one with a broken heart? She took a deep breath and lifted her head, finally looking into the boys eyes. "You want to talk, Changbin? So talk."

His heart ached for her calling him by his name. She always called him Binnie. Everytime without fail. But she was in too much pain to do that. And he couldn't help but hear the venom in her voice. He knew she didn't mean it - it was a mere attempt to push him away in order to reduce the pain for herself. But that didn't make it hurt any less for him. With a slightly quivering lower lip he finally started speaking.

"I want to apologize to you, bunny. I have been wanting to do that for a while now, but whenever I tried to talk to you, you did everything in your power to avoid me. You didn't even give me a chance to explain myself!", he stopped himself before the passion in his voice would become too strong and he'd get loud. He knew he shouldn't blame her. She was only trying to protect herself.

Chichi wanted to leave. She wanted to run away from this again. But she knew she couldn't. They were locked in a room by their friends and she was sure that they would not allow them to leave until they finally solved the issue that had been clouding both of their minds throughout the last days. So she bit her lower lip, sucked in her cheeks harshly and kept every mean word in her mind from spilling out. If she yelled at him again she not only would start another fight, but also wasn't sure if she would forgive herself for hurting him again. Her heart may have been broken because she lost her love, but he lost her best friend.

Changbin looked at her expectantly - wanting to get a reaction out of her. Any reaction, really. But when he saw the the pinkish color slowly drawing from how much force she was using to bite down on her lip, he knew what he needed to do.

Shuffling over to her was kind of awkward from his cross-legged position, but he still made his way over to her and got closer. He lifted his arms, streching them away from his body as a way to offer her a hug. It was a way to make sure she was okay with this - with his embrace. He would never need to ask her permission for a hug, but he wasn't so sure right now. And it didn't take long for the tears to spill out of the corners of her eyes. Her heart was racing, unable to control her emotions anymore. Chichi basically jumped into Changbins arms and after barely a second he went and closed his arms around her, successfully pressing her body into his chest. The hug was tight, but he knew she needed it.

Ichi let her tears fall, her body still shaking. She couldn't voice her fears to him. She was so sure she lost him. Yet all she really wanted was his embrace.

The younger man removed one arm from her back and put it to the back of her head. He brushed through the strands of her hair carefully, like he had done so many times before.

It was difficult for him to find the right words - he opened his mouth to speak so many times, only to close it again. But when he heard her sobs he decided to just let his words spill out. He was going to let his heart speak.

"Park Ichi, can you not tell how much you mean to me? When I wake up the first thing I think about is how much I hope we can go to the gym together again. When I fall asleep you are the last thing on my mind. I constantly think about your beautiful bright smile, especially when I am the one that makes you show it. I never stop thinking about how I can be closer to you than the day before. When you were with Seungmin, even if it was only for show, I could feel my heart break. I could feel it shatter. When I see you in a shirt you stole from me I could start crying from how adorable you look in it. And when you give it back I hope that it smells like you."

The girl couldn't see his tears, but she felt the wetness of them on her shoulder - seeping through the material of her shirt. He was shivering but continued, "I would give up everything in life to be with you. To get another minute with you. I wrote a whole damn song for you! Even STAY figured out that Doodle was about you, but you were so goddamn oblivious. And that day, when you told me how you felt about me-", he stopped in the middle of his sentence when he felt Ichi loosen their mutual embrace. She pulled back to look into his eyes. Her arms had found his back a while ago.

The hand that Changbin had rested on her head moved to Chichis cheek, softly holding his palm there. He was sunbconsciously drawing small patterns on her chin and she leaned into his touch - her eyes closing for a moment to feel his touch more vividly.

When the rapper continued talking she looked at him again. "The reason why I didn't react was because it didn't feel real. I felt like a teenager who's crush just confessed to him. Which is kind of exactly what happened, I guess.", he sighed, annoyed that he still couldn't find the right words to tell her how he felt.

Both of them stopped crying slowly, only staring into eachothers eyes. They were stuck in this moment. And all they found was pure adoration and love. For the first time in days both of them felt that comfortable piece that always surrounded them when they were together. Not a single sign of hesitancy was in either of their faces when they both leaned in simultaniously.

It felt like a firework exploded the second their lips touched. Ichi noticed that his lips were softer than she imagined, when she thought about kissing him during some intimate moments they shared. And now - for the first time - those thoughts became reality. He let out a tiny, almost inaudible, sigh into the kiss when Chichis arms moved from his back to his neck. He pulled her face even closer into his, if that was even possible.

Neither one of them wanted to release the other. Not one of them wanted this moment to end. But the need for oxygen in their lungs unfortunately won over and they pulled apart breathlessly.

When their eyes met for the nth time this day, both of them started smiling. Changbin tried to keep his smile subtle, but he couldn't stop from grinning widely. Ichi blushed visibly, but so did he.

The young man moved the thumb from her chin to her lip, touching it carefully, as if he couldn't believe what just happened and needed to relive the moment.

"Seo Changbin, I love you. So, so, so much. So much, that it hurts."

"Aishiteru, usagi."

Ichi broke out in loud laughter, "Let's work on your japanese pronounciation, boyfriend!" "Boyfriend? I like the sound of that, bunny!"

A loud knock on the door stopped the boy from puting, "Ayo, are you done being all gross now? We're all going out to eat. Wanna join us?" "Only if you pay, Seungmin!", Chichi jumped up, slid her hand into Changbins and pulled him up and towards the door. The singer let out a disapproving huff. "Maybe I'll just leave you locked in, then." "YAH, LET US OUT SEUNGMIN-AH!"

"Aishiteru, usagi." - "I love you, bunny.

Part One Part Three

Chichis eyes widened in shock. She unconsiously threw her hands over her mouth. The tears she was releasing were not from anger or sadness anymore. They were filled with regret. She could never take this back. This would change everything. She probably just destroyed her most dear friendship and there was no way to change that.

And the only thing Changbin did was stare at her…

One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten.

Changbin stayed silent for only ten seconds, but those few moments felt like hours. Chichi was convinved that her heart never beat this fast before. Not even when she had dance practice for six hours straight did it ever feel this strong. Normally when she was in the rappers company her heartrate would slow down. A wave of calm would splash through her boy and she'd feel safe. But that was before. That was before she ruined their friendship.

It took the younger man some deep breaths to process what she said. And when he did it felt like everything around him stopped. The soft white-noise from the lamps was gone at once. The taste of his lunch left his tongue. The room stopped smelling of lemon-y cleaning detergent. He was engulfed by Ichi. All he could see was Chichi. All he could smell was Chichi. All he noticed was Chichi.

The world stopped moving. For a few moments it was completely still. And, unfortunately for both of them, so was he.

And while Changbin was still trying to perceive the information, the oldest member moved her hands from her face. She turned around faster than he ever saw her move before and started to run. He tried to grab her arm, to pull her back to him. He never wanted to hug her more than right this moment. If only he was fast enough.

Changbin was an intelligent guy, he knew that, except right now he was beating himself up for acting like the biggest idiot he ever encountered. His brain was working through her confession for so long, that he took too long to react to it whatsoever. And this lack of reaction broke her heart.

He wanted to move, to run after her, but he couldn't. His feet felt like they were glued to the floor. Only when the door slammed close did he completely understand what just happened.

Ichi just confessed that she was in love with him. And he didn't react.

The stillness was gone. He knew it wasn't actually possible, but that didn't change the fact that his world started spinning faster. Adrenaline started pumping through his veins. It reached every last limb in his body. He yanked open the door, sprinting into the hallway. "Chichi!"

But Chichi couldn't hear him. She was gone and already sitting in the backseat of a cab. "Where to?", the driver asked.

Technically the dorms were where she lived, so why did she feel like she just lost her home?

That night the oldest member went straight into her room - not even batting an eye at her friends greeting her - and didn't leave it for a while. The boys were worried - of course - but she wasn't telling them anything whatsoever. Chichi was clearly distraught. She avoided Changbin every chance she got. She didn't look at him, didn't listen to him unless absolutely necessary and she did not talk to him - no matter how often he tried to clear things up.

Seungmin, Jeongin and Felix sat together one evening, sharing a coffee - actually the aussie was drinking a hot chocolate because his younger friends didn't allow him to consume any caffeine - and trying to share what they knew to cheer up their female member.

Chichi told Seungmin about her feelings for Changbin a while ago when they were forced to fake date. And Felix was the person who caught her crying that night when the SeungChi-breakup was finally approved by JYPE. They both understood how she felt and had their ideas as to what must have happened. Ichi didn't exactly tell them, but she shared what had gone on with her best friend, Jeongin. And through a series of events all of them found out that they had pieces of the story and together they combined the puzzle pieces. Which led them to come up with a plan.

Dance practice went fairly okay, a few mistakes from some of them every now and then, but that was to be expected when learning a new choreography. It surprised the fake maknae when Jeongin asked her to help him out in the dance studio - appearently he was struggling with a few things and wanted some one-on-one lesson from his favourite dancer. Of course she could never say no to her baby, so he went to the studio as soon as possible.

What she didn't expect was to enter an empty room. Assuming that the youngest member was going to join her soon she kept herself busy, scrolling through her phone and waiting patiently.

The door opening made a small creaking sound, so she turned around with a big grin on her lips, "Jeongin-ah, what took you so long?" The smile was gone mere moments after when she noticed that it wasn't Jeongin who was standing in the doorway. Instead Felix gently slapped Changbins shoulder, "Sorry man, I actually don't need any help with my rapping right now.", he gave him a lopsided smile, encouraging the dark rapper to enter the room.

"Oh hell no! This isn't happening. I'm going to leave!", Ichi walked towards the door. "Can't we just talk?", Changbin sighed, "Please." And for the first time in days she actually looked at him. His hair was messy, as if he hadn't brushed it in a while. He had dark circles under his eyes. His entire face was puffy and his shoulders were slumped. He looked like he had a couple of difficult nights. It broke her heart even more to see him with so much depseration. She missed him.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do this right now.", her voice was quiet.

"Hyunjin, what is your favorite outfit?"

He read the question, tilting his head slightly to the side. He and Felix were just making a live, Felix was eating pasta next to him. He looked at Hyunjin, waiting for him to answer. He thought for a moment and glanced at his black Celine hoodie.

"Actually, this hoodie is one of my favorite clothes. Only recently I took it back from Chichi’s closet. "

Felix laughed finishing his meal. He put his now empty bowl on the table.

"She’s so annoying!" He laughed right away. "I am curious how many of my clothes I would find there, but I'm afraid to even check."

"For real. She wears our clothes more than us. At this point I'm not even sure if she has something her and her only. She steals the most from Iyen-ah and Changbin. It reminded me of that one time she stole his t-shirt... "

"Which one? There were so many ... "

They both laughed briefly, Hyunjin fixed his hair.

"His favorite one. The one he brought from the USA."

"Ah, this one! Now I remember. You could hear them all over the dorm. "

"As soon as I saw that Changbin was looking for it, I immediately followed him. I knew there would be something fun to watch. "

"Where is it? I swear that I put it here, immediately after removing it from the dryer, where I hung it after I washed it! With my own hands, for safety!"

Changbin asked leaving his room to go to the living room. This room now looked like a tornado passed through it. Nowhere could he find his favorite T-shirt, souvenir, which he bought at the second-hand in the USA, apparently of the rarest t-shirts from this brand. Hyunjin looked up from the phone, sitting comfortably on the couch.

"Changbin. I think you and I know where it is.”

The rapper did not immediately understand what he meant, but when it finally reached him... he immediately left the dorm. Hyunjin lifted corner of his lips in a smirk and, and hiding the phone in his pocket, immediately followed him.

Changbin entered the dorm of Baby Line Feat. Minho and Chichi as it was his own one and immediately headed to the room of the oldest member, without even greeting with Felix, who just turned the chop in a pan. At the sight of Hyunjin, he immediately turned off the fire. These two did not even have to exchange a word with each other to know what will happen soon.

Changbin entered Ichi's room, knocking briefly on the door (even in nerves he was a gentleman, of course). He caught the girl in the act - she was standing in front of the mirror, trying on his lost item. At the sight of him, she only slipped hand into her hair.

"It’s pretty. How do I look?"

"I just wanted to wear it today! I won't let you steal this one!”

Ichi took air to one cheek. Changbin will never say it out loud, but this t-shirt really suited her. Which did not change the fact that it was his!

"I don't steal, I just borrow! My fault that you have such good taste?! "

"Do not change the topic!"

Changbin put his hands on her waist without warning and put her on bed. She squeaked surprised.

"HELLO, HELP ME, HE’S MURDERING ME! YOOONGBOOOOOK!"

"YONGBOK, DON’T COME HERE!"

"CALL THE POLICE!"

"DO NOT LISTEN TO HER!"

Changbin immediately began to tickle her to silence her. He did it instinctively and wanted to stop right away, but when he heard Ichi’s laugh and saw how she was tucking her legs up, swaying slightly sideways, he didn’t want to stop. He continued this sweet torture until Ichi was unable to breathe because of laughing loudly. She could hardly pat his muscular arm as a sign that she gave up. Changbin moved a little, but distance between these two still remained small. Ichi was slowly getting her breath back looking in the rapper’s eyes. He wanted to do anything, move away, ask for his t-shirt again, but instead he stayed still, appreciating her slightly dreamy look. He was afraid to move as if she were a fragile animal. Ichi, feeling a blush coming to her cheeks, cleared her throat loudly. Changbin moved immediately, fixing his hoodie, which rolled up a little.

"It was not fair." She laughed briefly, getting out of bed. "I will give it to you on one condition."

"This is my t-shirt, why do you set me conditions?"

"Do you want it back or not?" Changbin sighed ostentatiously. "Exactly. I’ll give it to you if you’ll give me this." She touched his beige hoodie, which he was wearing.

"The business has to keep going, huh?"

"Do you agree or not?"

Did he have any choice? He didn't need this hoodie that much today, and the whole outfit was prepared for this t-shirt already. After a moment of hesitation he took his hoodie off and gave it to her. Ichi smiled immediately and took off his t-shirt, under which she had an undershirt from the previous outfit. After the exchange, Ichi immediately wore her new item and hugged herself. She tried to be discreet, it is not known how much she succeed, but the first thing she did was sniffing it. It smelled like... him. As she liked the most.

"It's good that you came here." She said. "I didn't intend to keep this t-shirt anyway."

Changbin blinked briefly surprised.

"NO? Then why--- "

"I didn't intend to keep it because it doesn't smell like you."

The video begins with Ichi walking down the street. She corrects the camera and waves to it briefly.

CHICHI: Hey! So I was out for a little shopping and saw a poster advertising a.... a certain place. [secret already in the beginning?] The place looks really cool and there's something I haven't done before, so I think it will be fun to try it. But of course I won't go alone! [Loneliness is never an option?] I think I know who I would most like to go with. I'll go find them and ask them.

Ichi turns off the camera. The next shot shows her tentatively entering the gym in the label building. Minho is boxing on a punching bag and Changbin is warming up before lifting a barbell. Minho glances at her and stops working out.

Lee Know: Here comes trouble!

Changbin looks back and smiles at the sight of her.

Changbin: I already thought you were going to skip today's training!

CHICHI: I'm here today for something different.

She waved her hand apologetically.

CHICHI: I'm glad you two are here. A new place has opened up where I'd like to go with you and have some fun.

Lee Know: What kind of place?

CHICHI: It will be a surprise. Will you trust me?

Changbin and Minho look at each other, then Minho returns his eyes to Chichi.

Lee Know: I don't generally trust you in anything.

Ichi lowers her eyebrows and sticks out her tongue, then looks at Changbin.

CHICHI: Then at least how about you?

He nodded immediately, and Lino rolled his eyes amusedly.

Lee Know: Okay, let's go. I'm too curious now.

Ichi leads both of them by the hand to this "secret place", they are blindfolded.

Lee Know: I'm letting you to hold my hand for so long already, so it better be worth it!

CHICHI: Oh hush now!

Finally they reach the place, which turned out to be.... paintball playing center. The boys were able to take off their blindfolds.

Changbin: This is not what I expected!

Lee Know: I can shoot you guys and it's legal? [Lee Know, the main menace]

All three get the proper equipment, clothing, safety vest and special protective helmets with go-pro cameras. An employee of the paintball field also explains the rules that must be strictly adhered to - a shot is fired from a distance of MINIMUM 6 meters, a player's hit is scored when his body or his paint gun is hit.

The game conducted by LeeChiBin will look as follows: there are three rounds of 10 minutes each. In each round, a different player will start it with a red flag. The players' task is to take the flag away from the opponent. The round is won by the person who will own the flag at the end of the round. The whole game results from the person with the most wins. In case of a tie, the player who has been shot the least number of times wins.

All three go to the playing field built outside the building.

Changbin: Let's let tradition take its course and agree that the loser bets dinner!

Lino looks on, after carefully examining his paint gun.

Lee Know: Do you have too much money and want to put it to good use or what?

Ichi parries with laughter while covering her face with paint gun and Changbin looks tiredly at the camera. [it's impossible to have fun with them...]

Everyone goes to their positions, the first person with a flag is Minho. He waved it vigorously, as if making sure it's real. [Lee Know, please don't break the props]

Lee Know: I won't give it up so easily. I have a big craving for meat.

He said to the camera at his helmet. Then the signal could be heard starting the beginning of the round.

Changbin (to camera): Lee Know is unpredictable.... I wouldn't want to run into him, but since he has a flag.... I have to find him.

CHICHI (to camera): I don't want to meet Lee Know. I hope Changbin will be the first to take the flag from him, and I can take it from him in peace. [Changbin is an easier opponent???]

[however, to everyone's surprise... Lee Know runs to the middle of the field!]

Lee Know (to camera): It will be boring if everyone hides. So I'll wait for them here.

Changbin walks between the walls looking around.

Changbin (to camera): It's too quiet... It's suspicious.

Chichi creeps slowly behind him then touches him in the back with her gun. Changbin jumps back, but breathes a sigh of relief when it turns out it's not Minho.

CHICHI: Do you want to form an alliance, Binnie-ah?

Changbin lowers his eyebrows suspiciously for a moment.

Changbin: I don't know if I can trust you... This is war, after all.

CHICHI: We can't defeat him separately, but together.... Together we can have it all.

Ichi puts her hand on his shoulder and with her other hand makes a sweeping gesture as if showing him the world that could belong to them. [CHICHI's power of perspiration will work?]

Changbin finally agrees and they both quietly continue searching for Lino. He, however, finds them first and shoots each of them once, standing at a safe distance.

Lee Know: Is that all you can afford? Have you joined forces because you are so afraid of me?

Changbin and Ichi look at each other briefly, then return their eyes to Minho.

Changbin & CHICHI: Yes, actually... yes.

And for that answer they got another shots. [Could it be that Lee Know had them in a huff?]

But then, unexpectedly, Changbin started running toward him and Ichi fired from her position. Lino started to run away laughing loudly. [A happy cat finally having entertainment!]

Changbin finally caught him, hugging his back and lifting him slightly.

Changbin: Give back the flag!

Lee Know: Never!

CHICHI: GIVE THE FLAG!

Called Ichi even louder, running up to them and hugging Minho from the front. [This is not how to handle the enemy!]

However, neither of them managed to take the flag from him, at which Lino smiled triumphantly and waved it aggressively. [Winner of the first round - undefeated Lee Know!]

Minho became the winner of the remaining rounds as well, easily taking the flag from Changbin twice - in the second round, when Ichi had it first, and in the third round, when he owned it himself.

All three returned to the building to change back into their clothes and return all their equipment.

CHICHI: Lee Know is the winner, I really don't know how he did it...

Lee Know: How? You have to have cleverness and good physical conditions.

He said as if it was obvious. Ichi was declared the loser on the basis that she was shot the most times. She glanced sadly at the camera. [Someone's wallet is about to get slimmer...]

All three unanimously decided that they would eat out today. So they headed to their favorite food truck selling the best burgers in the area. After picking up their orders, they sat together on the sidewalk, away from the hustle and bustle. [LeeChiBin, for the first time quietly]

Changbin: It's too rare for us to go out together like this...

CHICHI: Yes, let's do it again sometime.

Lee Know: What about no?

They enter at the same time, shouting greetings to each other as if they had never seen each other before. Han immediately takes the grape as they both sit on the couch.

Han: Wo... It's been a long time since we've sat together so peacefully.

Chichi laughs and pulls one leg up onto the couch. She stops and tilts her head slightly to the side.

Chichi: No, for real... How strange!

She laughs again, hands clasping the calf of her bent leg.

Han: The fact that I'm tired after yesterday doesn't make it any easier!

They laugh together.

Chichi: We played games until late at night. Board games.

Han: But we stopped understanding the rules halfway through.

Chichi glances at the camera and runs her fingers through her hair.

Chichi: Who would care anyway?

Talk About CHICHI x HAN Felix, Seungmin, Changbin

Changbin laughs briefly and Felix adjusts his sitting position.

Felix: It's a very... dynamic duo.

Seungmin: I think it's a duo that went through a lot to be where they are.

Changbin: That's true. Honestly, I've never seen such a dynamic relationship development.

Felix: We choose our words very carefully.

All three laugh briefly.

Han: But! We know we're here for one purpose.

Chichi pursed her lips and nodded her head.

Chichi: It's probably about coming to terms with the past.

Han: Yes. I think we've matured enough to talk about it. I want some things to become clear even though we've already discussed this privately.

Chichi: Let's move on to what I call the "Levanter Night Incident".

Talk About CHICHI x HAN I.N, Bang Chan, Hyunjin, Lee Know

Lee Know: It started out hard.

Bang Chan: I think we all remember that memorable evening.

Hyunjin: We won a prize with Levanter then and we had a little party.

Bang Chan: Yes, exactly. I.N, Han and Chichi were then left alone in the kitchen.

The three look at I.N and I.N nods briefly.

I.N: They started arguing, it all happened so fast. Han said something like "we could have done it without you too" and the rest just sort of went. They were shouting at each other, I didn't think Chichi could raise her voice that much.

Bang Chan: And then we came back to you because we heard something was going on.

Hyunjin: We had to separate them.

Lee Know: Chichi then threw a glass and cut her hand, but she didn't care at all. She didn't notice it at all.

Hyunjin: Seungmin panicked and called an ambulance because Chichi wouldn't let us touch her.

I.N: And then Han went outside for a long time.

Hyunjin: Chichi left shortly after the paramedics treated her.

Lee Know: It was... really hard.

They both snort with laughter as Chichi takes a sip of iced coffee.

Han: First Levanter win. I said something very bad then, and apparently you didn't need much at that time to explode.

Chichi: That's true. I've heard the taunts from you before, and the one from then was the final blow. I don't remember when I was so angry... I'm very ashamed.

Han: I'm ashamed too. But the fact that we feel shame now only means that we have matured a lot.

A moment of silence. Han takes another grape and Chichi scratches her nose briefly with thumb.

Chichi: I remember what you said then... A medic was even called...

Han: Yeah, 'cause your hand...

Chichi: Yeah, yeah...

There is another moment of silence.

Han: Wow, this is going to be tough.

Chichi laughs briefly.

Han: I don't want to make excuses. I know what I said back then was really stupid. I don't want to make excuses, really, but it really wasn't that I didn't like you. I was just afraid. After the whole situation*... Then you joined... I was really afraid of how people would take it. Except for the fact that even me and Seungmin haven't recovered from that yet.

Chichi: I know and I really understand it. I am not blameless either. We said everything we had on our minds at the time.

Han: Yes... I said for sure then that I wish they wouldn't pick you in Stray 9th.

Chichi: You said that... And I said you don't deserve to be here either.

They both laugh perceptibly.

They fall silent for a moment.

Chichi: It was so cruel... Why did we do this.

Han: It's just... I knew what it would be like when a girl joined the male group. The rest of the members got along well with you, your gender didn't matter to them. I couldn't understand why they thought that, but not because I had a problem with it. I couldn't understand why they didn't think about public opinion. I know that other people's opinion is not the most important thing in the world, but I didn't know then how you would react to it. People... can be mean.

Chichi plays with the sock for a while.

Chichi: I understand what you mean. You're right, beginnings were really scary. I couldn't touch you guys without ending up with an article. I just kept reading how I didn't fit in with you and how I couldn't keep up with you at all.

Han: Yes, I know, I saw it... That's what I was thinking... Some people can't tactfully put their opinion into words. Except what they wrote about you wasn't an opinion...

Chichi: Mhm. I'm glad I'm slowly coming out of it. People seem to finally come to terms with the fact that male-female friendships exist. It's good that I have you, that I have you all. This whole quarrel shouldn't even be happening. I acted like a bully.

Han: The time we were arguing... I wanted to tell you everything to make you decide to leave. It was something I thought would be best for you, but... who did I think I was to decide for you that you couldn't do it?

Chichi: Yes, I felt it... That same night, I left the dorm. Back then I was really looking at flights to Japan.

They both laugh. They fall silent a moment later again.

Han: But you didn't leave.

Chichi: No, I didn't want that for real. I.N was with me all night, I remember. I decided I wouldn't give you that satisfaction!

They both laugh again, finally relaxing a bit.

Chichi: But more than that, I remember the moment when I really felt that you cared about me.

Han: What are you talking about?

Talk About CHICHI x HAN Felix, Seungmin, Changbin

Felix: It's been a rough night. I will never forget it, even if I wanted to.

Changbin: But luckily that's behind us.

Seungmin: God, yes. Now it's really good.

Felix: Once they found a common language, they became almost inseparable.

Seungmin: Really. Now when there's some noise, we know it's just them doing something again.

Changbin: Yeah. They are so loud that sometimes they are unbearable.

Felix: Sometimes you feel like walking up to them and just taking the batteries out.

Seungmin: I remember that one flight we had. Even the stewardess came over to us then and we had to separate them because they started some karaoke show.

Chichi: When we were at the airport recently, flying to our activity. It was my first time at the airport after my debut... I had a panic attack. I had my face covered with a mask, but I also covered myself with a hoodie because I couldn't stand it. Nothing extraordinary from the point of view of others. I also wanted to hide my hands in my sleeves, but you took my hand and squeezed it tightly instead. It was a firm grip, but I relaxed.

She laughed lightly and Han nodded, remembering that.

Chichi: It was so sudden... Our relationship was warmer back then, but you surprised me anyway. But I really needed it then. So I held your hand until the plane.

Han: Yeah, I remember that...

Han looks at Chichi with slightly wet eyes, which was barely noticeable.

Chichi: No one else noticed that something was wrong, only you. When I got on the plane and sat next to Changbin, he looked at me and asked "Are you okay?" And I told him, "Yes, Han saved me."

Barely visible tears flow to Chichi's corners, Han looks at her seriously.

Chichi: If it wasn't you... I literally felt like I would die there.

She laughs through tears, and Han looks away for a moment.

Han: I did it because you needed it. I know... I know what it's like. And it was easier for me to see that you were going through something similar.

Chichi: I know. I'm really grateful.

Han: I was wrong. Stray Kids without you-- there would be no Stray Kids without you. I even learned a lot from you without realizing it... Never listen to negative opinions, okay? They are not real.

Chichi: Han...

Han stands up and Chichi covers her face with hands to hide tears. He hugs her tightly.

Han: Don't listen to them, okay? Do not listen.

Hyunjin: But now? They are really good friends.

I.N: I think that sometimes... it's worth telling each other everything that's on our hearts. When we hold all the negative emotions inside, we will not be able to go further and grew up.

Bang Chan: That's right. Often, when confronted, it turns out that some of our feelings were unfounded and we wasted our energy unnecessarily on them.

Lee Know: It's good that everything ended like this. We love Han and we love Chichi, seeing these two not getting along really hurt us.

Sweat was running down her temples. To be fair that wasn't the only spot on her body that was sweaty. Her neck was basically entirely wet, liquid dropping from the strands of her smooth hair and even her shirt was completely soaked.

Changbin didn't look too different either. There was a damp sign of exhaustion on his grey shirt aswell and he had to continuously dry off his hair with a towel to keep the drops from running into his eyes.

Yet neither one of the idols really cared, both of them blasting music through their earphones, working out tirelessly for two hours already. It was something they did regularly. They had their little routine, rarely ever skipping a day. Sometimes Minho, Chan or Jisung would join them, but today it was just Changbin and Chichi.

They hadn't talked in a while, just enjoying eachothers company in silence. There was no need for them to make conversation. A lot of times they understood eachother nonverbally, sometimes reading the others body language but more often just having a feeling as for what to do. Which was why Chichi made sure to finish what she was doing as quickly as possible, when she saw Changbin get ready to do some squats with weights. It's not that he couldn't lift the weight - she knew he could. He had done it several times before, with impressive weights added at that. But sometimes, Ichi noticed, her friend tended to be a little careless about his safety in the gym - especially when something was bothering him.

The rapper already started squatting a few times, but set the weight down again when he saw Chichi approaching. Sometimes, during this part of their routine, they would talk about their dinner plans or make fun of another dramatic thing Hyunjin said that day. So both of them took off their headphones silently, knowing this would be the last part of the workout.

Changbin seemed to be very preoccupied with his thoughts, though, so the girl didn't bother making conversation, instead moving around the man to watch his backmuscles contract. It was quite aesthetic to watch... The rapper was so in thought, in fact, that he was only able to do one more squat with the added weights before he lost the strength in his legs, clearly struggling to lift it back up. He couldn't let the bar fall carelessly either, as it would risk hurting his feet with the position he was standing in.

Chichi, luckily, noticed his inbalance and struggle fast - his huffing noticeably loud enough for anyone to hear and she worked out with him so many times by now, that her observation came to her easily. She ran towards him, moving her arms around his sides and helping him take some of the weight. Both of them were able to set the bar back into its designated spot together quite quickly, only then noticing the position they found themselves in.

The womans front was pressed into his back. Her arms were slowly moving to his biceps, squeezing a bit as a way to comfort the overworked man. "Are you okay, Bin? This was dangerous...", Chichi forrowed her brows in worry. "Yeah.", Changbin lowered his head a bit. He knew overworking himself like this was stupid, but he thruthfully didn't even notice he couldn't handle it. His mind was elsewhere and he just tried to distract himself from his thoughts. Unsuccessfully at that, taking into account the situation he was in right now. "Just...", his voice was a mere whisper, "Can we just... stay like this? Just for a little while longer?"

The rapper couldn't see her, but Ichis ears changed color, a soft red glow showing up. She didn't respond, instead she removed her hands away from his arms and put them around his stomach, pressing herself closer into his back. In any other moment she probably would have made sure of his sweaty shirt, but she needed this just as much as Changbin did. He leaned back a bit, feeling his heartbeat slowly calm after the original shock. His hands found hers as he layed them on top.

The hug ended after a while, lingering touches disappearing. Throughout the entire rest of their day Chichi still felt the warmth of his palms, even though it was more like the ghost of a memory.

Changbin would never tell her, but the hug she gave him that day helped him a lot to finally be completely sure in what he felt.

Chichi radiated confidence. Her eyes looked like small crescent moons because of the wide grin she was giving Changbin. He sat across from her, seperated by the glass wall in the recording studio. "How did I do? I think this is it!", she was satisfied with the ad-lips she just sang into the microphone. They were recording them for their upcoming album. All of the other members were already done, but with her busy schedule for Troubl3mak3rs, some personal projects and life in general, the oldest only now got the time to record. And who better to create some ad-lips with than Seo "Yooooh" Changbin.

She took of the headphones she was wearing all throughout the process and put them in their designated space. When she looked at the rapper through the see-through wall, he seemed anything but happy. His hands were moving through his hair, pulling it back and out of his face. He seemed stressed, his eyebrows furrowed. "What's wrong, Binnie?" Ichi couldn't hear his sigh, but it was obvious that something was bothering him. Were her recordings not as good as she thought?

"Why are you being distant with me?", he didn't look angry at all, instead a hurt expression became clear through his glossy eyes. The girl knew what he was talking about, but she couldn't tell him that. There was no way she could explain why she stayed away from him, so she did the only thing she could think of in this moment; She lied. "What are you talking about?"

He stood up fast, pushing his chair back with so much strength that it got shoved into the dark couch behind him. It would definitely leave a mark on the leather, but that didn't matter to Changbin right now. What mattered, was to find out why his best friend was lying to him right now. "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" The young mans eyes widened, he didn't mean to yell at her. He knew of her past and the damage it could do, but he was so afraid to loose her, almost intoxicated with that fear, that he lost control of the volume. She didn't even flinch, sure he would never hurt her. Yet he still apologized instantly - ashamed that he shouted at her.

Instead of panicking, Ichi grew furious. She walked towards the door seperating the recording room from all of the mixing-technology and opened it with all her strength. It didn't slam against the frame, because it was secured with rubber, but it still visualized her anger well.

"What the actual fuck, Changbin?" He visibly cringed at the name, not used to being called anything but loving nicknames by her. Tears built up in her eyes, but she didn't let them fall. She may trust him with her life, but showing weakness - which crying in front of the members felt like to her - was not something she took lightly. It was almost trivial. Of course they had all seen her with tears on her cheeks, but never like this. Never because she was the one causing someone else pain.

She stepped closer, now directly staring at the muscular man in front of her. "You know I care about you. I'd never want to hurt you. Ever...", towards the end of her sentence her voice grew quiet. Enormous amounts of guilt spread through her entire body. Hurting him was the last thing she wanted to do.

"Then why the hell have you been ignoring me? You say you don't want to hurt me...", before his voice could become more forceful he caught himself, not wanting to get too loud again. His next words were quiet, a mere whisper. Anyone observing would think he was saying something sweet or comforting. His voice was warm and almost soft, "But you have been the cause of most of my pain during the last weeks.", his voice broke, tears pooling in his eyes aswell, "I needed you! I needed my best friend to cheer me up, but she wasn't there...she was the reason why I needed cheering up in the first place."

Chichi couldn't practically feel her heart break into a million tiny pieces at his words. Her bottom lip quivered, her mouth drying up in an instant. Her chest felt heavy, but not in a comfortable way. Instead of feeling heavy with love, it felt heavy with pain. It was like someone filled her chest with thousands of stones and told her to keep moving. Every single breath felt like a burden on her body. She knew she couldn't keep it a secret anymore. It was eating her alive to be the cause of so much pain for him; To be the reason her best friends heart was aching. She was fighting with herself. The girl knew she owed him this honesty, but she was deadly afraid of what would happen once he knew. Ichi didn't think she would survive it if she lost him. Especially not like this.

This was the moment where Park Ichi let go of her restraints for the first time in years. She released all the built up emotions, all the fear and pain and anger that she stored in her body for so long. And with that release she also rid herself of the control for them. Ichi let the tears roll down her cheeks a while ago, her pupils widened in stress. "You want to know, why I've been ignoring you, huh, Changbin?", she took one last step closer, pointing her finger at his chest. With every word she said she got louder and louder. "I was ignoring you, because I can't be close to you anymore. I want to cry because I can't touch you. My heart aches because I just want you to tell me THAT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE, BUT IT WON'T BE!", she was yelling now. Enraged by her own emotions. "I'M IN MOTHERFUCKING LOVE WITH YOU, YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKING IDIOT!"

And the only thing Changbin did was stare at her...

"You really are like a child!"

"But at least I’m your child!"

Chichi walked slowly along the narrow sidewalk, putting foot in front of foot in a straight line, while Changbin held her hand. Between concerts in Tokyo, Chichi found time (and got permission) to travel to Kawasaki, the city that was truly home to her (at least the "physical" one). Although it wasn't where she spent her childhood and teenage years, it was nevertheless where she began to live - she was free and independent, cut off from her parents and her past. It was here that she learned everything she knows about dance, and it was here that she watched her first Stray Kids videos. Who would have thought then that she would end up as one of them? Life really is one big unknown.

And of course she wasn't alone here now. She was with a security worker, who was walking a few meters behind her, and with Changbin. She can't even justify why she asked him to travel together. She simply felt one evening that Kawasaki was a place she wanted to show him. Why shouldn't she give the most important person in her life a tour of the most important place in her life? She had prepared herself for a long time to ask him about it. She didn't know why, it just seemed so important and somewhat intimate to take him here that deep down she was afraid he would refuse her. But that didn't happen - Changbin was genuinely happy that she offered it to him, which only solidified her decision. And now here they are, together, and Ichi felt her heart overflowing with happiness and peace impossible to describe.

Time, their social status, the acquaintances they had, the schedule... Nothing seemed to matter. They are in another city, just the two of them, enjoying the shy rays of the sun. They were not here as CHICHI and Changbin from Stray Kids, but as Park Ichi and Seo Changbin. This gave a truly amazing comfort and bliss that Chichi didn't even know she needed. The two even turned off their phones to get the most out of these moments together. For the photos, Chichi took a polaroid with her.

With a slow walk, the two reached the water, where several ducks were lazily lounging on the grass. Ichi was prepared for it - she took duck food out of her bag and poured some into Changbin's hand.

"I understand why you love this city so much." He spoke up, feeding the duck closest to him. "I like it here."

"I'm glad." Ichi replied immediately, feeling a sincere smile appear on her face.

Knowing that someone appreciated something that was so important to her was truly invaluable.

"You must meet my family someday." He spoke up suddenly, already surrounded by a much larger group of ducks. "They've already met the rest of the members, you haven't had the chance."

Chichi almost spilled food out of her hand hearing these words. It was nothing, and for some reason it sounded... serious. But she is just overinterpreting it after all, she needs to calm down. Exactly why does she overinterpret and overthink everything so much? Everything... related to Changbin. She swallowed her saliva quietly. Quick, answer something before he thinks you thought something strange!

"Actually yeah, we didn't have the opportunity." Wow, that was something. Oh, shut up.

Changbin sent her a brief, warm smile and returned his gaze to the ducks. Chichi stood a short distance away from him, feeding the animals blindly, gazing at her companion. The bright early spring sun reflected off the surface of the water, which was now glistening, as was Changbin's hair. A gentle breeze played with his bangs in the same affectionate way it played with grass or leaves. His face, today without makeup, looked beautiful. It was not without minor imperfections, which actually made Ichi realize from time to time that he was a human being just like her, not a sculpture created by an Italian artist. The dark coat he had opted for today lay perfectly on his muscular shoulders making being between them sounding like the fulfillment of her fondest dream. How was this even possible? He was an incredibly beautiful person, with the most sincere smile Ichi had ever seen, and he was just as incredibly talented. His voice, both when he rapped and when he sang, the intense focus evident on his face every time he was creating...

However, there wouldn't be enough days for Ichi to fully comment on his character. He was well-mannered, caring, genuinely funny and sometimes chaotic and loud... Some see the last thing as a flaw, but for Chichi it's just another thing making her feel safe around him. When she finds herself stressed on the backstage, but hears his loud voice laughing about something, she immediately feels better. She then feels the warmth slowly spread inside her assuring her that everything will be fine. Because how can it not be when Changbin is next to her?

She loved Bang Chan as their leader, a responsible friend and an incredibly good person. She loved Minho for being her mean brother. She loved Hyunjin for being her soulmate and inspiration. She loved Han, her partner in getting into trouble. She loved Felix, her sunshine and greatest support. She loved Seungmin the most wonderful companion she could ever ask for. She loved Jeongin for his similar sense of humor, the understanding he always showed, and the infinite care he gave her.

But Changbin... she just loved him. She always wanted to be close to him, she won't count the moments when she wanted to grab his hand and just feel his closeness. She won't count the dreams that were dedicated to him. She won't count the number of times her heart sped up at the sight of him. She won't count the moments when she caught herself thinking about him and searching for him with her eyes when she hadn't seen him for too long. She won't count the moments she thought about him in stores when she saw something she thought he would like. She won't count the number of times she came to the gym after her finished workout and when she met him there she pretended that today was only the first time she had come here so she could stay and exercise with him.

She always felt more confident when he was next to her. She always did better when he was next to her. She always wanted and did more when he was next to her... With him, she felt that her demons of the past had finally gone to sleep. He was to her what a night light is to a child afraid of the dark. He was her light, her hope, her future....

The way he always calmed her down with her panic attacks, the way he always made sure she was eating and sleeping as she should, the way he looked at her while recording in the studio, the way he hugged her when she needed a tight hug, which was due to overstimulation...

She loved him, but she wouldn't die for him. It was for him that she finally wanted to live.

Ichi dropped the rest of the duck food on the ground and covered her lips with hand, hastily lowering her head. She felt her pupils begin to tremble and heart began to beat with an irregular rhythm. Her cheeks became as warm as a hot stove.

She was in love… She was in love with Seo Changbin...

Everbody had gathered around the living area. Felix was pacing, Seungmin, Jeongin and Hyunjin were trying to comfort the distraught Chichi, Jisung tried to distract Changbin, who was standing in the corner of the room and Minho was trying to calm everyone down.

"He'll be back soon. Stop worrying.", Minhos words were ignored. "What if he got hurt? He's been gone so long. Or what if something else happened. The only reason he's out there is because of what I told him. Oh my god what do we do?" Felix was clearly not going to calm down anytime soon, his hands shaking.

Earlier that day the younger australian had noticed how unhappy Chichi was, seeing her crying in her room, her face buried in her hands and her knees pulled to her chest. The only reason why he noticed in the first place, was because her door wasn't fully closed, allowing him to peek inside. He was torn, but ended up walking up to her to give her a chance to explain what was going on. It was obvious that she needed comfort. Do you know that feeling, when you are already on the verge of everything spilling out and then someone asks you what is wrong? Well, that is exactly what happened. The oldest member broke down and told Felix about all of her worries and fears. Her heart was broken, clearly. She wanted to hug Changbin and tell him how she felt, but the fake relationship she had to keep up with Seungmin made that impossible. It would only complicate things within the group and she really did not want to risk that.

It's not like she didn't get along with the young man. They took their dating situation as a chance to finally bond and learned quite a bit about eachother. He was the first person she told about her feelings for the dark rapper, hoping he would be supportive and help the young woman through it. And he was. Whenever staff tried to find a way for SeungChi shippers to get some content, Seungmin did his best to get Ichi close to Changbin. YouTube ended up filled with tons of compilations like "Seungmin being the biggest ChangChi supporter". A lot of Stays were happy for SeungChi, while others were distraught at the situation. Ichi got a lot of hate since the reveal that they were dating - most of them calling her a Cheater whenever she was seen hanging out with Changbin.

Overall Seungmin honestly became a very close friend to her. They watched some dramas together and just enjoyed eachothers calm. When the other boys would want to have a conversation whenever they hung out, these two were able to just be in one anothers company without having to share many words. There was always some sort of peace that came with sharing a space with Seungmin. And as much as all of the boys tried to understand the stress she was under, nobody could sympathize with her as well as the young singer, because he was in the same situation.

Felix knew he had to tell Chris about how he saw her cry. They couldn't keep this act up. Ichi and Seungmin were originally okay with the plan, even joking about it, but it has gotten bad enough to make her cry, so he felt like he was left with no choice. He went up to his fellow Australian and told him straight up. He explained about what Chichi had told him and it only took the leader one glance into her room through the still parted door to confirm his plan. Chan didn't say a word to anyone when he grabbed his jacket and keys and stormed out of the dorms.

And that's how they ended up in this spot. Everyone worried for his safety and unsure about where he went and what he was doing. He wasn't answering their calls and it was late in the day, so the sun had already set. Seoul wasn't the most safe city. Felix told Chichi that he informed Chan about what they talked about - leaving out that she shared her feelings for one of the rappers - that was something she needed to talk about in her own time. Knowing this didn't stop her from feeling anxious, though.

Considering that the entire drama involved her fake boyfriend, she told Seungmin about her little emotional outburst a few hours ago, too.

Everyone else only knew that he left without saying a word, no idea of the possible reason for his spontaneous trip.

"I'm sure he's fine! He's probably just grabbing-", the maknae was interruped by the sound of the front door closing. The man of the hour just walked in as if he wasn't gone for two hours without letting anybody know why or where he went.

Everyone huddled around him, asking him if he was okay and where he ran off to, but Chris ignored all of them. He turned to the couple, "Do you have your phones?" Both Seungmin and Ichi nodded. "Good.", the leader gave everyone a small smile and left to go to his bedroom, locking the door behind him and successfully leaving his eight dumbfounded members behind.

There was no chance for anyone to voice their shock, because almost immediately after their leader disappeared they heard a phone ring. The music playing indicated that it was Seungmins device. He picked it up, responding to the end of the line with a few approving sounds. After thanking whoever had called him he hung up again, smiling at the oldest. The call lasted mere seconds.

Everyones confusion increased when Chichis phone also started playing her ringtone. Hyunjin yelled, "Put it on speaker!", so she did what was asked, courious about the reason for the call, herself. "Good evening, miss. After a long discussion about the future of Stray Kids with your leader, we have decided to announce the end of your relationship with Seungmin. An article is in the works as we speak and will be publicated tomorrow morning."

Everything was quiet. Chichi barely noticed when Jeongin grabbed her phone out of her hand and thanked their manager, hanging up the call for her. Changbin, who was still standing further away from the group stared at the girl, his eyes blown wide.

The now broken up fake couple turned towards eachother. As soon as their eyes met, big grins could be found on their faces.

Chichi giggled, "I'm sorry, boyfriend, but I think it's best if we break up." "Shut up, old woman!", Seungmin responded almost instantly.

Everyone broke out into giggles. Even Chan, who left his room to join the others a few minutes ago to see the scene unfolding, joined in. The only person that still hadn't reacted in any way was Changbin. A little shiver visibly ran through his body, as if to physically shake off the shock, and he finally walked to her. His strong arms found their way around her back, his body pressed into hers. The rapper rested his head between her shoulder and neck and gave her a strong squeeze. "Binnie, I can't breathe.", Ichi smiled, but he couldn't see that. He pulled her into him even tighter, feeling like a weight fell from his chest. His eyes were glossy, so he closed them.
