Northwood school launches partnership to help build technical careers in data centres

Northwood based UTC Heathrow, has launched a partnership with high performance data centre operator Kao Data, which will see its people working alongside the school to deliver a co-teach a programme of learning based on the data centre sector.   Developed in collaboration with leading data centre industry organisations, the Digital Futures Programme, a first for any UK school, allows students to gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to thrive in technical careers within the data centre sector.   This sector is currently experiencing booming growth, but is facing an ongoing skills shortage. The most moderate, nuanced and productive people I have discussed the Israel-Hamas war with have been Jews, Israelis, and people with Palestinian family. Everyone directly affected by this just wants it to stop and to have peace and safety in the region in a way that minimises the casualty count.

The most extreme and performative and vile things I've been told are by people who have no connection to this and like to think they are experts because they have covered adjacent topics during learning, or read stuff online.

If all the randos in the west would just shut up for ten minutes and let those of us actually affected, with an understanding of the history of the land and the culture and the generational trauma experienced by Jews and Palestinians alike talk, we might actually have a chance to salvage this and stop it spiraling

new Wednesday headcanon unlocked: she's a total troll and probably has a secret cell phone & twitter account squirreled away somewhere. 

How else would you explain that the same Wednesday who “refuses to be a slave to technology” and “doesn't have a phone” also knows, within hours of meeting, about the bad punctuation and grammar of Enid’s vlog, other than having watched it herself? Also, she says that Enid’s followers are “clearly imbeciles” who respond to Enid’s stories with “insipid little pictures” — which you would only find out about by stalking the comments. 

And how else could Wednesday look at Enid and immediately have “the following emojis come to mind: rope, shovel, hole”? Wednesday has to know that these are options in the emoji-catalog, which even I wouldn't have been able to tell you off the top of my head. 

TLDR: Wednesday's got us all fooled. Prove me wrong :D
