hello fellow complex au haver do you mind telling me a bit more abt your au :)

Aits a au that i always imagine since started playing the franchise since 2015 about lilith,angel,maya and steele and mow adding tyreen and amara.

I can inmagine this being like charmed with guns.

Tyreen nevered became the leader of the cov and left her family behind

Steele fled about as the destroyer got out but she was defeated lilith before.

Maya being the daughter of general knoxx and and is Steele's protege.

Helena peirce kicked lilith out of the resistance after lilith failed to kill handsome jack

Amara is about the same.

Angel was freed by tyreen,amara and maya after after the vault hunters killed baron flynt snd steele shutting down the echo

Maya learned of the old siren sisterhood and conviced steele to bring it back to the galaxy and found their sisters.

I highly doubt the borderlands team put thought into it but I really want to know what Commandant Steele’s siren power was. Cause like they show you that she’s a siren but never go into it.

Like it can’t be phasewalk because Lilith actively has it in that game. It can’t be phaseshift because you talk to Angel throughout the game. I think timeline wise Maya and Tyreen would both have their respective powers at that time despite not existing til BL2 and BL3 respectively so that’s two more powers accounted for. I’m not certain about when Amara got her powers but I also think young and before the events of the first game? How old is Amara? How long between BL1 and 2? I know it’s a while between 2 and 3.

So like would Steele have had the remaining siren power to make the sixth siren of the six (actually seven according to BL3) possible sirens? Will borderlands remember that they made her a siren and not goof that up lore/timeline wise in the future? I have so many questions about this woman that I know they won’t ever answer.

So, I had a slight mention of this in a random comment a while back, but I have a Borderlands Godbound AU. Godbound is an rpg where you play as demigods controlling aspects of reality via the Words of Creation. For the AU, the reason the godbound exist is, in short, because the Eridians broke the universe. So, here's what the Vault Hunters from BL1 can do

Lilith: she is still a Siren and Sirens are actually different than godbound, essentially being forces of nature inherent to reality all on their own. Sirens also get major buffs in this verse. In addition to her normal abilities, Lilith eventually develops the ability to teleport outside of reality and into entirely different ones. She also can open and close what are known as Night Roads, pathways that exist in the Uncreated Night, the void between worlds. Lilith also has full pyrokinesis, being able to melt her way through Hyperion tech. She doesn’t understand the majority of these powers until the timeskip between 1 and 2.

Brick: Brick's words are Might, Endurance, and War. The War word makes people he uses the abilities on undyingly loyal. Good for controlling bandit clans. Might makes him able to bench press Crawmerex. And Endurance basically lets him be able to be dropped from orbit and get back up an hour later.

Mordecai: words are Bow, Beast, Sky. Bloodwing is a familiar capable of teleportation, can be shape shifted, and is nigh-unkillable. With a combo of the Bow and Sky words, if you are outside and within a mile of Mordy, he can headshot you with a gun that has limitless ammo. Even further if he's trying.

Roland: Words are War, Bow, Protection. He is a soldier. A leader who grants power to everyone under him. When he starts the Crimson Raiders, they are loyal. Under him they are strong, and he works to provide supernatural protection to everyone fighting against Jack. He doesn’t need to eat, drink, sleep, or even breath. He can put all of his time to fighting the war. 

The Destroyer. It is an uncreated, a monster from outside the universe. Its mere presence suppresses the powers of Godbound. This one is essentially an eldritch god. Lilith teleported its eye off, forcing it to return to the Vault.

Bonus, Commandant Steele: This is consistent across all my headcanons for her, her Siren Power is something called Phasecharge. She enhances weapons by giving them an energetic charge, which also allows her to apply elemental effects to weapons that don’t have them. She can also pull a Gambit with objects and can even energize the air around her to create a shockwave.
