It was their first Christmas together.
He was used to not have much and to be alone. For a while it was just him and Sam, but then Sam went to college.
After that it was just him, until he met her.
She made things better. She made him happy, and he couldn’t wait to celebrate Christmas with her, Sammy, and his girlfriend.
He couldn’t even remember the last time he celebrated the holidays. That was why he wanted everything to be perfect.
He bought a real tree, decorated the whole house, and even put light on the damn mailbox. He stoked the pantry full of candy and any possible Christmas sweets he could think of. He wanted a Christmas like those he was always so on tv and he was so damn close.
Until Sam hadn’t called, telling him they couldn’t make it.
Y/N knew something was wrong the moment she saw the look in his eyes.
“Everything’s okay?”
“Yeah, Sam just called. They can’t make it.”
He whispered avoiding her eyes. She sighed cupping his cheek trying to comfort him.
“I’m sorry, De.”
“It’s alright.”
He had understood of course, but he couldn’t mask his hurt. Not with her at least. She tried to console him, and she did it by assuring him that they were still going to have their perfect Christmas. He had forced a smile on his face at that. He wanted to believe her so much, but in fear of being disappointed all over again, he kept his hopes low.
Until Christmas eve came.
He had been out for a beer with Benny promising to be back in time for dinner. When later that evening he put his feet in the house his breathing stopped for the surprise.
The house was lit by small lights and a few candles here and there. In the living room, there were pillows and blankets all over. The smell of food and the sound of Christmas songs invaded the space. He looked in awe at the scene in front of him.
“Merry Christmas, Dean.”
She heard her voice and he turned around to see her bright smile. He looked at her with misty eyes, before taking her in his arms and hugging her tight.
“That’s exactly how I always imagined it.”
He whispered in her hair, kissing the crown of her head. She smiled against his chest, hugging him a little more.
“Great, because that’s just half of it.”
“Oh, yeah?”
He asked her, glancing down at her. His fingertips slowly caressed her face.
“Yeah, I have dinner ready for you and then we can do a movie marathon. I even bought us pajamas.”
She smiled proudly at him, and Dean couldn’t help himself from feeling his heart beating a little bit faster for her.
And that was how that night they found themselves sitting on the floor in each other arms, matching pajamas on, watching old Christmas movies.
“Merry Christmas, sweetheart.”

I ship daxton so much and I don't have a daxton blog but I just unfollowed the daxton tag and paxton because there are more hate posts on the ship and Paxton. New York was magical during this time of the year.
She was enjoying every bit of it between classes, knowing very well that she had to go back home soon.
Wrapped in her warm coat, she was wandering around the Christmas markets with her new friends, hot cocoa in each of their hands. They were all enjoying their last night together before the holidays.
She slowly walked while watching every single stand, hoping to find more presents to bring back with her. She stopped in front of one of those stands selling neckless of all sorts. She was scanning every item when her attention got caught by a small pendant.
“Hello dear, how can I help you?”
A sweet old lady asked her with a bright smile. Y/N looked up at her, pointing at one of the necklaces.
“What’s about this one?”
“Oh, that’s St. Eligius. He’s the patron of all workers in metal, like blacksmith, mechanics, goldsmith.”
Y/N’s eyes lit up at the word mechanic. A small smile crept on her face.
“I think that I’m gonna take that one. Could you please wrap it up for me?”
The old lady happily nodded at her. She was ready to pay when her phone started to ring in her pocket. She retrieved the small gift thanking the sweet lady before answering the call.
“Hi, stranger.”
“Hi, sweetheart.”
Her smile grew bigger in hearing his voice. A few more hours and she could see his green eyes again.
“What are you up to?”
“We’re at the Christmas markets, walking around and buying a few more gifts.”
“Are you having fun with your new friends?”
He asked her, and she could swear that she heard a tiny hint of sadness in his voice. Her heart broke a bit for him. It couldn’t have been easy for him to see his girlfriend and his little brother go to college while he had to stay behind.
“I’m missing you. You know that, right?”
She asked him, biting down on her bottom lips. She wished for him to be there with her. He would have loved New York during Christmas.
“I miss you too, sweetheart.”
She could feel him smile on the other side of the phone and that made her feel better. His smile always did, even miles away.
“Will you come to pick me up tomorrow?”
“Yeah, I’ll be there. Bobby gave me a day off from the garage, so I was thinking that we could go get something to eat in that place you like?”
He asked her hopeful and she couldn’t help herself to smile.
“I’d love to.”
“Awesome. I can’t wait for you to be back home, sweetheart.”
Her heart skipped a bit at his words. She couldn’t wait anymore either.
“I can’t wait to be back to you, Dean.”
New York was magical during this time of the year, but it would have been much better with him there with her.

She was just a kid when her mom told her to always follow the butterflies.
At first, she didn’t get it, but she liked the idea of it. Chasing butterflies sounded fun.
Her mom never stopped to remember her that. It was when she was a bit older that she started to question the meaning behind it.
“You’ll understand one day.”
That was what all she said to her, so she kept living her life with that sentence safely tucked away.
Ten years later she understood.
It downed on her one autumn day. She was sitting in the back of the Impala, the light breeze caressing her hair. A smile graced her lips when her eyes caught Dean’s green one in the rearview mirror. Just one of his looks were enough to make her feel things she never thought she would ever feel. And in that moment, she knew that she would have follow him to the end of the earth.

Read your answer about how Paxton was also hurt when Devi two timed Ben and Paxton, and I strongly disagree. Paxton was just embarrassed. That is all. Typical fuckboy nature. Ben was hurt very deeply. He had every right to move on with Aneesa. Ben values loyalty in a relationship. He instantly broke up with Shira just for a peck with Devi. But Devi on the other hand had a whole relationship behind Ben's back.
Its funny how Ben gets away with EVERYTHING just because he's a nerd who isn't popular and the show doesn't flaunt physical appearances so he's automatically labelled the "nice guy/ good boy"

In season 1 episode 8, he tries to kiss Devi TWICE against her own will WHEN HE HAD A WHOLE ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND IN THE SAME HOUSE, but then Devi rejected him TWICE and then she falls in his pool.. he could try to kiss her twice but not help her when she fell in the pool? But instead he went to go make out with his girlfriend 5 mins after Devi rejected him. Then he breaks up with Shira after MAKING OUT with Devi and then talks about her boobs and how he got his first handy while asking Devi to be his girlfriend (if Paxton had done any of this... I can imagine how he'd be attacked, I mean you all already attack him for not using emojis lmao).
Yes Ben had every right to move on with Aneesa, I never said he didn’t. But he doesn’t have any right to complain about not being the “chosen” one AFTER he moved on and has another girlfriend.. AGAIN. He tried to make a move on Devi again at the dance, when He’s dating Aneesa.. who is also present at the dance then later he walked away with Aneesa and seemed happy with her too?
