This could be my Clerith bias speaking but I can definitely see AERITH and YOZORA sharing a similar dynamic personality wise. As BROODING and ALOOF as Yozora is, I can see Aerith getting under his SHELL and cracking his STOIC FAÇADE. Aerith knows all too well how to HANDLE soldier experiments: even if Yozora is also part-deity.

With Yozora being the KING of his home realm, and PURSUED by the corporation that created him, it would actually be INTERESTING to explore a dynamic where Aerith assumes the ‘BODYGUARD’ role: protecting him rather than VICE VERSA. ( Much to Yozora’s contempt, of course. ) Yozora actually gets his PHYSICAL STRENGTH from ‘karma’ ( astral energy ) from his UNIVERSE, which functions similarly to the LIFESTREAM. I can thus see Yozora keeping Aerith at his SIDE, as a means of sustaining him whilst he is so FAR from home.

WHAT SHAPE IS YOUR PAIN?

Glass cage. You feel disconnected from the world around you. You can see everything, everyone can see you, but you're not really there. No one can really communicate with you, can they? You're isolated, even when you're around people you're alone.

You want desperately to be close to someone, but you're afraid of what will happen if you shatter your glass prison. You don't want to let someone in, you don't want to leave, and it's a constant battle of your own will.

It's easier to be alone, where no one can hurt you... Isn't it?
