I'm happy to answer Lapidot questions!

Lapidot (and SU in general) isn't something I'm as interested in as I used to be, now that the show's over and I wasn't satisfied with the ending. So my knowledge of specific scenes and things like that is getting a little bit rusty in places now, which feels very weird to say after how obsessed I was! The gap left by SU has been filled by Deltarune, and I only have so much space in my brain for this stuff 😂 But I do still love the ship a lot, I think it's forever going to be my OTP despite everything! The journey from crackship to almost-canon was absolutely wild, I've got some great memories from when the show was on and have genuinely made some friends for life because of the ship. It's always going to have a special place in my heart.

As to the merch...

I used to have a mini Lapdot shrine! Some of this is still in place but it's kinda scattered around now. I also have some other things including the official Lapis and Pumpkin plushies, the mini Lapis and Peri plushies, a custom-made Peri plush, some of the books, and a few art prints including these from dement09:

The one at the top is framed and still hanging on the wall in my living room.

alright so fun fact about me: i’m a writer! in addition to me having won awards in the past and being praised to high heaven by my english teacher(s), i write fanfics too! i wrote a (really really really shitty) hamilton fanfic back in 2021 that was published on wattpad (find this and i will fucking kill you /j) and i also wrote a(n even shittier) steven universe fanfic (heavily based off dement09’s comic “so far”) in 2019 that was written solely in my notes. (still have it)

where am i going with this? i’m writing a byler fic! it’s really just for me and my bff and i never really planned to post it somewhere, but i finally put my email in to get an ao3 acc (i’m on the waitlist woooo!) so maybe i’ll post it?? do y’all want that??? it’s an AU but sticks pretty close(ish) to canon i guess(?) and it’s really just me putting down whatever my brain comes up with on paper. does anyone actually want this or nah? if y’all want it i’ll make a little post explaining the AU (i promise it’s simple) so lemme know!

I’m really happy to see she’s returning to it, yeah! As you said, human aus aren’t my thing, but I did very much enjoy the story and found it interesting! It’s one of 3-ish human aus I actually like and I look forward to seeing what’s in store.
