Referring to your recent post. Considering carla age, I always wondered how is it possible that a random women got pregnant by the time he met yui, I also think he values his 🤫 that's why he didn't go around and do it with random women just to fulfil his desire I really think he avoids sleeping around because he doesn't think anyone is worthy, he even in his route multiple times said that no one is worthy of bearing his children except someone who is founder same can be said for shin both of them are proud and will not sleep with someone whom is inferior to them. The amount of disgust they have for all races do indicate that they don't sleep with other races women too. It's just a headcanon.
BTW love your analysis❤️❤️
Oh my God! I have so many comments to make about this, thanks for sending an ask~
Tumblr media
I completely understand your assumptions about Carla and his approach to intimate relationships. It is indeed interesting to note that based on the events previously mentioned, Carla appears to have been highly selective and reserved in his personal interactions.
Considering his age and the time he met Yui, one can speculate that Carla maintained strict standards in his relationships, choosing to avoid casual or purely physical involvements with random women, especially given the weight of the situation you mentioned earlier. His personal values and the care in selecting partners worthy of sharing such a significant moment are not mere whims for him; they will dictate the life or death of his race, considering the gravity of their situation as the last of their race with his brother, and thinking about the fact that they are confined in Bandamen. These factors may have been key influences on Carla's decision to preserve his “purity”.
It is also understandable that Carla and Shin may feel proud and consider the choice of a partner for procreation as something extremely significant. This may also shed some light on an interesting aspect of Shin's character. As I haven't played his routes in other games yet, my source material is from Dark Fate. From what I have seen, even though Shin still struggles with mingling with other species, his choice to not engage intimately with someone could very possibly have been influenced by Carla. Shin tends to mirror his older brother quite a bit, making this possibility quite plausible.
Also, there is indeed a gap in the pre-confinement moments of Carla and Shin before Bandamen. It's entirely possible that during that time, intimate relationships were not their main focus, and they simply weren't interested in pursuing them.
I think it's funny to imagine them thinking: “I'm stuck here, possibly forever, there are so many things I wish I had done that I never did...”
Given their unique circumstances, being the last of their kind and facing the challenges of confinement, their priorities may have been centered around survival, understanding their own identities, and adapting to their new environment. The concept of forming intimate relationships might not have been a priority for them during that period.
Thank you for contributing, your train of thought was remarkable!

Your analyzes are really helpful and so valuable to the community. It was from your latest analysis of Reiji that I got motivated to research the boys more thoroughly and became very knowledgeable about behavioral issues. But as I replayed each HDB and MB route, I suddenly realized something.
Each of the brothers is very different, but they all seem to share a lot in common when it comes to punishment and obedience. Despite being raised by such different types of mothers, many of the brothers use one common control tactic - a "reward" for obedience or punishment for disobedience. Of course, some of them can take the reward as such, while others have it quite twisted. And it seems that this practice really works on Yui, because this way they train her to obey without a second thought so that she can to avoid the pain, but I got the impression that they didn't see it that way. For most of the development of Yui's "relationship" with one of the boys, this goes to an extreme and eventually she starts to lose the line between pain and pleasure and things get complicated. But I wonder if they are doing this to make her a masochist? As far as I am informed, a man cannot suddenly become a masochist, but is born with such a tendency, and over time, so to speak, learns to awaken it. Does this mean that Yui is actually really a masochist, and it's not just words when brothers say so?
Of course I know your focus is mainly Reiji and I have no idea if you've played any of the other routes to you know. Also, Reiji isn't as mentally screwed up as Cordelia's sons and he acts very carefully and thinks his actions out more than his brothers. But since you also mentioned this reward and punishment tactic, I would be very happy if you could give me your opinion on the subject.
This is a very astute observation! You are right with each brother engaging in Operant Conditioning (or punishment and reward) even though they each have different mothers; I don't think this is coincidental. From what we see of their mothers, it can be implied that the behaviour is learned - we predominantly see this with Cordelia and her general behaviour, but we also see this with Beatrix and Shuu (I would mention Christa but I feel I lack a thorough understanding of her character). From each of the brothers, to the mothers and by extension even the Mukamis, they all seem to exhibit this form of behaviour; the only way for this to occur [beyond coincidence] is for there to be an interlinking variable. In this case, our good friend Karlheinz - CEO of Beans, Means, Heinz.
From what we learn from Ayato's and Laito's routes, it's implied that Cordelia met Karheinz when she was young - in other words, he preyed on her for her blood, and for her heritage. This can imply that Cordelia may have, in fact, been groomed (for Karl's plan) - since it can be implied that he too engages in the punishment and reward system. This is mainly theoretical, however, from Cordelia's extensive collection of fine jewellery - that, (if I'm right) come from Karlheinz (and can even be implied to be 'love bombing'). We know that Cordelia becomes self-destructive and abusive when she isn't with Karl, possibly implying that his time and gifts act as the "reward" - whereas him marrying Beatrix, Christa and generally discarding Cordeila acts as the "punishment". Cordelia possibly learned her behaviour from Karl and imprinted it onto her children - a sort of "cause and effect" if you will - whereas I've implied Beatrix to suffer from some form of generational trauma; though Karl may have also [possibly] used Operant Conditioning on Beatrix, and Christa, too.
And yes, you're right - some brothers are generous with the rewards and do something that actively makes Yui happy, such as Ayato, Azusa and Kou. However, brothers such as Laito, Kanato and Reiji present a more twisted version of 'reward' - such as Laito forcing himself on Yui [in basically every chapter let's be real] or Kanato wanting to turn Yui into a wax corpse - but that's heavily due to their response to their trauma.
You're also right about Yui being easily 'trained' via Operant Conditioning. However, I think this is a precaution - a means to demonstrate complete and utter control - and like I've mentioned with Reiji, he spares no time in enforcing that; meaning that he's likely done this hundreds of times before (and most likely so have the others). In other words, the Operant Conditioning may just be a standard routine among the brothers. I do like your interpretation that they're doing this so that Yui can avoid their punishments - it definitely puts them in a more sentimental light (and I appreciate that you've read it like this). For characters like Subaru, Shuu, Ayato (and even Kanato) I can definitely see this interpretation - as punishing Yui is more trouble than it's worth; they want her to behave and do exactly as they want.
However, for characters like Reiji and Laito, they particularly enjoy pushing Yui around, they enjoy making her slip up so they can punish her. I see this as more of a demonstration of power and control - as well as a boost to their ego. Reiji and Laito are two characters that lacked control and authority in their childhood - implying that their actions towards Yui are possibly a way to achieve that. For characters such as these, I don't belive that they want Yui to avoid pain in the beginning. Throughout the mid-way section and the end of their respective routes, they don't delight in Yui's pain - it's only in the beginning, and I think this is due to their trauma-response. In other words, the abused become the abuser - they delight in Yui's pain because she feels a physical manifestation of their mental/emotional pain. It's sadism at its most ironic.
So yes, I agree with you on that front - I don't think they see Yui's 'training' in a pet-like way - instead I believe it's a fail-safe. It's a way for each brother to be in complete control, while having the security that Yui can't escape, act out or leave them. At the end of the day, each brother values and desires affection and acceptance - using this form of control over Yui guarantees that. It's a twisted way for them to garner the emotional security they need.
However, I don't believe that any of the brothers use Operant Conditioning to actively or purposefully make Yui a masochist. From what I know, researched and from my own experiences, no one is born a sadist or a masochist. Instead, I believe it to be a learned response. Sadism and masochism are responses to pain - I don't believe people are intrinsically born to enjoy pain - it's called 'pain' for a reason. However, and this is drawn upon my own experiences, I believe that sadism and masochism arise from the exposure to suffering.
If you're exposed to constant and unyielding pain, there's only a small selection of responses to choose from. You can't run from it, you can't hide from it - fighting it only makes it worse - therefore, the only way to deal with the relenting pain is to accept it, tolerate it...enjoy it. I touch on this in my MB analysis regarding Azusa and Yui (and how Azusa is a "dark parallel" to Yui regarding this exact topic). Since the female brain doesn't full mature until mid-twenties, I can afford to take some liberties regarding Yui.
When you're exposed to heavy abuse and physical abuse as a child, your brain does funny things. Now, I'm only talking from my own experiences - so any other views on this are greatly appreciated. But like I said, when you're exposed to pain at a young age, your brain tries to rationalise it and find an effective response. If it's constant, unyielding and inescapable, you can either fight it - and in some cases, make it worse - or you can accept it. When you're a child, or a young adult, you're constantly told the message that you should enjoy life; that you have nothing to sad about or anything worth crying over. Notice how I used the word: enjoy. This is intentional because this is where the brain begins to warp. So, instead of crying about the pain, you instead learn to see the positives - that whoever's inflicting the pain is giving you 'special treatment' for example. This is what we see with Azusa and his attachment to Justin.
People inflict pain because they want to see you suffer; from how my brain responded to that, the only way to combat that is to enjoy it. Once the pain's over - or it's finally stopped for good - that sentiment doesn't go away; instead it finds something to latch onto. Think of your brain as one big circuit board, and the masochism as a cord. Once the pain stops for an extensive period, that cord becomes unplugged - and another cord is plugged in its place; the circuit board fills up. The masochism is still there, the cord hasn't disappeared; it's dangling, and it needs something to latch onto. Once you grow older, your brain develops more plugs, more sockets for different cords and branches that need to be filled in - one of those plugs is sexuality. Now obviously, sadism and masochism aren't intrinsically sexual, they are both sexual and non-sexual: the sexual being self-explanatory and the non-sexual being oriented around amusement - again, it's irony being displayed in its most painful form. But I digress, once sexuality opens itself up to the brain - like with Yui - the unplugged cord of masochism has a socket to wire itself into.
The point I'm getting at is that I believe masochism - and Yui's masochism - to be a trauma-response. It acts as a way for her to 'deal' with the pain - however, since her brain is underdeveloped, her mentality surrounding it warps and distorts. The line between pain and pleasure does become blurred. In other words, it can be implied that Yui's masochism (and Azusa's) are coping mechanisms that have become warped and distorted over time.
Note that Yui never starts the game(s) as a masochist. If anything, she hates the pain. Yet by the end of the game, she is a masochist. She's masochistic due to the severe mental stress she's under and the vile abuse she endures - and her brain can't revert back due to the extent of the distortion. Routes such as Reiji's and Laito's hinge on Yui's mentality unravelling; becoming fragile and mouldable - this is how the masochism is able to infiltrate, it's a coping mechanism (but instead of being able to abandon it, it's latched onto another part of her brain, her sexuality).
Furthermore, when the brothers refer to Yui as a masochist, it could be implied to be an exaggeration, a way to riddle Yui's mind with stress, denial and self-doubt. In other words, it could be implied that they're gaslighting her to sow doubt and make her more susceptible to their mental manipulation. Additionally, it could be implied that they're enforcing masochism onto Yui so that they can enact their own sadism onto her without any complications - to make her a 'willing victim' if you will. In essence, the brothers could call Yui a masochist in order to imprint their own views and needs onto her - sadism and masochism is the giving and receiving of pain. It can be implied that the brothers' sadistic tendencies act as an outlet for their trauma; they need a recipient to take the pain they're giving - that being Yui. However, the brothers' sadism and Yui's masochism doesn't match up.
The brothers begin their routes revelling in Yui's pain, yet they don't end their routes with the same sentiment. Yui, however, starts the routes trying to escape the pain, only to yield to it - and by the end of the route, revel in it. And I'm not just strictly talking about her own pain either. In Reiji's HDB manservant ending, we see Yui delight in the pain and subservience of others. She gains control over Reiji, in which she belittles and emasculates him, all while playing the role of 'Cordelia' - and in Kanato's HDB manservant ending, we see Yui brutally (and sadistically) murders the other brothers, revelling in the affection she believes she'll get because of it. In essence, sadism and masochism are learned responses or coping-mechanisms (gone wrong), but that's just my opinion.
You're also right, Reiji isn't as screwed up as the triplets, and he does think out his every move - painstakingly so. The only other brother I'd say who comes close is Laito, since they're both highly manipulative and predominately enforce Operant Conditioning - with Reiji’s focus being on control and Laito's being on sex. When Yui behaves, they each reward her in non-material ways - for Laito, it's sex or physical affection, and for Reiji, it's remedies when Yui's sick, her favourite meals etc. What they both 'reward' Yui with is their vulnerability. In other words, manipulative characters like Reiji, Laito, Ruki and Carla enforce Operative Conditioning to gain the comfort of control; only once that boundary is established do they 'mellow'. In other words, the need for punishment and reward is a basis wherein the brothers can build a relationship that they can thrive in.

DL RANT ABOUT KARLHEINZ AND CORDELIA
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Karlheinz's relationship with his 1st wife,Cordelia is very interesting. In HDB, it was clear that Karl didn't love Cordelia but the situation is little bit different when it comes in MB and DF. In hdb Cordelia wanted to force her love on Karl by murdering him with her own hands.
In Ayato's Route MB Maniac Epilogue, Karlheinz sent some blue roses and a letter to Cordelia as an apology for not coming that promised night. Cordelia was pissed. Young Ayato thought the blue roses meant impossible, nothing impossible to him/Karl. Young Ayato proceeds to crush them and crushes some of them. If you listen to the audio/play the game Young Ayato kinda sounded jealous?/frustrated?/angry? I ain't sure. Maybe he felt all.
But did Karl really mean impossible? We don't know. Karl just likes to play with people's mind. So,
🥀What is the significance of a blue rose?
The blue rose signifies True love, associated with the unattainable.
The blue rose also signifies a fresh start.
🥀What does a blue rose mean in love?
The blue roses represent true love, or unrequited love, they are great for a sense of longing, and a thirst of discovering the unknown.
According to a Chinese folktale, the blue rose signified hope against unattainable love. There are various versions of this story that can be found online.
🥀What does a blue rose mean in a relationship?
The blue rose is an achievement of the impossible.
Blue roses symbolize secrecy, mystery, and uniqueness.
Karlheinz could mean anything or nothing . He's just toying with her feelings. He's an asshole.
My Conclusions about what Karl implied:
Cruel mockery of her feelings by implying that it's impossible for her to win his heart.
That she's his true love. He couldn't love her even if he wanted to.
That there's hope for them . Maybe they could have a fresh start in another life . He will return her love then. Experiment comes first, love comes later.
That he's incapable of feeling love or returning her deep love.
That their love is unrequited .
It's just a simple apology gift with no meaning.

𝕲𝖊𝖔𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖆𝖘𝕲𝖚𝖎𝖉𝖊𝕲𝖆𝖒𝖊 (Laito Edition) PART 1
(basically information about the character but in questionnaire form with random dark questions. Its mostly headcanons but i will try to make it as canon as i can)
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴?
ok this is pretty canon, because we know that Laito uses sex as a way to protect himself from his past and his negative emotions. He puts on this pervert facade to trick not only others but himself as well.
2.𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯'𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥?
i believe that Laito cries only when he is alone.I think crying helps him get out whatever he has been holding inside his heart if its gets too much sometimes or when he is reminded of his past.(i feel like he cries everyday)
3.𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶              𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘵?
oof. the answer is more than obvious.that “mother “ of his completely ruined the hell out of him.She r@ped him as a child and manipulated him to no end, so he thinks that she loves through sex.yikes.
4.𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 10 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴?
Ok y'all. He is a vampire and he has been living for god knows how many freaking years .I highly doubt that he'll change because Im pretty sure he has had the same habits all these years plus he got them issues

How would you rank the boys from most to least possessive? Kind of random question I know but I'm just interested in your opinion :3
it makes me really happy knowing you all love my opinions even though I feel like that's it's been long since I read a few routes and hopefully don't make any misinterpretation 😭
I didn't know what kind of interpretation you wanted so I gave my opinions in what way they were and now are possessive and why.
there are chances some people's ranking might not match with mine but I tried my best to rank the boys based on my (not so horrible) memories. it was difficult to do overall so I did family wise because many boys were ending up on a tie.
(don't forget to read the conclusion note!!)
I ranked based on them giving freedom to Yui from least to highest !!!
Sakamakis:
1. Ayato: it's wayyyy too obvious that Ayato is the most possessive out of all his brothers, and one of the reasons being Cordelia's obsession to make him no.1 which narrowed down his mentality to "yours truly" and always getting/acquiring "first class things" it can also be seen in the anime how obsessed he became to make Yui only his after being the first one to taste her blood, to the point he left hickeys on her before she went for a bath. I wouldn't say his possessiveness towards Yui was just as "a prey", more than that, his obsession to be number one due to Cordelia surpassed that reason as Yui's blood was considered special as it was the finest of its quality in the whole world, according to them.
Kanato: I haven't read his routes much, actually I tried to but just couldn't make myself sit through it, but based on what I have seen in anime and some routes, he is one of the most possessive ones after ayato (maybe?) and.... not in a good way. I don't think I need to expand on it because we all have sat through it in anime in scenes with Kanato. though there are chances he might have changed a little(?) in future games, Kanato stans are free to come and correct me because he is one of the characters whose content I have never read much.
Laito: it might be surprising to some but let me tell you, his possessiveness started on Yui as "a prey" behind that facade he puts on due to what Cordelia did to him. it's more like he is conflicted. his possessiveness is way too conflicted because of Cordelia. openly, people think that he let's Yui to be shared to others but I think it's more like, he don't wanna succumb to any feelings or have anyone special to him, to the point he don't wanna be possessive to someone in either good way or bad way. but ofc, after staying with Yui, he finally started to open up and slowly became possessive (in mid of MB maniac/ecstasy, then VC and further) I would say he is a silent possessive man, because people will think he is being carefree but he is indirectly protecting Yui (encounter with Carla and Shin in DF)
Reiji: the only reason Reiji is considered more possessive than Subaru is because of his obsession to not let Yui in contact with Shu, which is of course because he was scared. Seeing how everything eventually belonged to Shu, no matter if he wanted it or not, meanwhile he, Reiji, being neglected by everyone, even servants, he was scared to lose Yui to Shu. and thus he was such a nasty possessive man in the first game, but his character slowly developed and his possessiveness turned towards the direction of sweetness. it was good to see how he went from being scared of Shu snatching Yui away to not feeling the fear anymore and having full on trust on Yui which is a very big thing in Reiji's case.
Subaru: because of his distrust in women due to his mom, even though he was possessive with Yui, it was not in a good way but, thankfully, eventually as he became comfortable with her, he slowly became a sweet gentle boy. what I liked the most was that despite being possessive he let Yui freely roam around but magically appeared whenever someone advances at her. tsundere.
Shu: my lazy sloth, who doesn't want to have anyone close to him because of his past. he was the least possessive for obvious reasons but gradually as his relationship with Yui developed and he came out of his bubble, his possessive side could be seen. Just like the other two before, he did give freedom to Yui but easily gets jealous so his possessiveness was never in a bad way that much.
Mukamis:
(these brothers were so hard to rank because they are equal to each other when it comes to possessiveness)
Kou: ┐(´ー`)┌ he was very much possessive of Yui in MB but in a very wrong way due to obsession of Adam's apple plan but thankfully by the end of ecstasy he started becoming a little normal. he gets easily jealous, so Yui always watch out for herself. in conclusion, he is the most possessive in his brothers and thankfully it went from toxic to normal possessiveness.
Ruki: livestock. yes that's the word he used to rationalise his toxic possessiveness towards Yui for completion of his plan. it was cute to see how he went from being possessive as "master" to being possessive as a jelly boyfie. plus one of the reasons he is very possessive with Yui is because he can never get any "undisturbed" alone time with her due to his brothers which makes his actions ,when he is being possessive with her, very cute.
Yuma: my sweet Gardner boy. (Yuma Stans help me because I'm out of words (╥﹏╥))
Azusa: my cinnamon roll and one of the members of "eve's no. 1 protector" club. Azusa is cutely possessive (if we ignore the knife obsession in starting). best boi, will do anything for Yui. Might not look possessive of Yui but he secretly is but more than that, to him her happiness matters the most. I read somewhere that in his route in chaos lineage it was revealed he asked Karlheinz to turn back time 3-4 times??? I'm not sure if i remember it correctly but this also directs towards how he remembers in almost most of the routes in CL, and in some, to us readers, it's indirectly hinted that he remembers but he is hiding it.... but that's a topic for another day. also feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. and we got distracted from the topic.......
Tsukinamis:
Shin: insecure possessiveness. after losing his eye and getting his pride hurt, his only aim was to surpass his brother, Carla, which he was never able to. just like how Carla wanted recognition from his father, Shin wanted recognition from his older brother. this is why he was so obsessed to get Yui in every single route, even in his own route. this is why I loved his route, because of the development. minor details matter too. his toxic possessiveness turning into normal boyfriend possessiveness yet the goal to acquire her remaining the same but not in toxic way (LE being an example when he pushed Yui away to keep her safe no matter how much he wanted her.)
Carla: he is such a beautiful composed character, that people aren't aware about the rate of his possessiveness. unless you have read any Carla route, you won't know how bad is the possessive rate in Tsukinami family. as he was raised to be a king, he hides his emotions well which is also the reason why it took him time to realise his own feelings but when he did, the possessiveness (ノ´・ω・)ノ ミ ┻━┻
because of DF Shin, Carla is on second rank or else his LE route was dangerous for my heart. ifykyk
→ I didn't rank kino because I'm totally not aware with his character so I didn't wanna make any wrong interpretation.
in conclusion: all of them were toxic-ly possessive at some rate but slowly as the more time they spent with Yui and developed their character, their nature of possessiveness also started to change. I rated the possessiveness based on the freedom they allow Yui for.
any diaboy at first rank doesn't mean that they don't give freedom to Yui at all, it's just less compared to others and their jealousy level is ↑
why did this post go from possessive analysis to character analysis, I'm sorry, i just loose the track so much while writing (╥﹏╥)

This is really random but I want to talk about the diaboys and how fragile I think their masculinity is
I think Laito's masculinity is the least fragile out of all the diaboys. Maybe he wouldn't go out of his way to paint his nails or wear a dress, at least not on a frequent basis, but I can see him enjoying it for holidays or a fun switch clothes with your s/o and asking people how good he looks.
I feel like Shu and Azusa would come after Laito. Shu because he's apathetic about most things and how he really doesn't care about other people's opinions or how they view him. He's not like Laito who I think will do it and enjoy it but if his s/o wants to put makeup on him or put a bow in his hair he might allow it if they're not noisy and let him just rest on the couch while they do that and then when he eventually gets up just washes it off or takes the bow out.
Azusa is similar. It's not a thing Azusa would think about doing on his own but he'd do anything to please his s/o so if they asked that of him he'd happily oblige.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum is Ruki. I feel like his masculinity is the most fragile out of all the diaboys. He's the type of man who would suffer drinking black coffee that he hates that he just pretends to like because he's not willing to put cream or sugar or drink a vanilla bean frappe lmao
(Honestly Ruki probably does enjoy black coffee but that's just an example of how fragile his masculinity is)
I know that there's a lot more to fragile masculinity than just wearing dresses or drinking "girly" drinks, those are just examples I have for the diaboys
Really random post I know 😂😅

Defending Yui
Tumblr media
Throughout the years, especially in the early ones, people have been making fun of Yui for being “meek”, “dumb”, “air-headed” and countless more. Granted these people have probably never read, played or watched every DL–related media and have better things to do.
Unfortunately, I don’t. I have way too much time and not enough motivation. Because of that, in this post, I’ll be explaining why Yui survived to the point where she’s gotten and whether or not Cordelia’s heart had a factor in her survival.
First off, Cordelia’s heart - Yui’s chances exponentially increased because of her special blood and the circumstances that surround it. Recall in the games and anime that Karl specifically said to the Brothers to not kill her off at least not immediately.
Note that I said increased. Despite his orders, in HDB and MB, Yui has died in several endings. Meaning even though her blood is a specialty that has been the biggest contributing factor for her surviving the horrors of the DL brothers and one of her biggest defenses, it still isn’t enough to ensure that she lives.
Because of this, it has led me to believe that the reason for Yui’s survival isn’t her blood, but rather her personality.
Yui’s patience and understanding character is so inhumanly powerful, because it showed that she was willing to give each and every DL boy a chance at redeeming themselves. This is where the ‘air-headed’, ‘dumb’ and other similar comments come into play. Most of these comments target her for being naive, ignorant, gullible and ‘too-trusting’.
But I think what they failed to see was that she didn’t have a choice.
She knew that there was no way for her to escape the manors, especially since each DL boy has reminded her of that fact in their respective routes. Yet instead of letting this bring her down, she instead chose to be determined to persevere and make the best out of nothing. The same comments that degrade and mock her are the same comments that whine or fetishise the DL boys to death.
There are studies on how optimistic people are more resilient to stress and other factors that are associated with being a hazard to mental health.
Yui never gave up on looking for the positive in a sea full of negatives, and I think that’s why she survived.
It sounds cheesy, but it’s why her mental health didn’t deteriorate and why she was able to make decisions that ultimately helped in her favor.
If you want to see Yui’s best display of her strengths and patience, I think Yuma and Kou’s MB route are the best examples :)

Analysis of “why is Ayato so attractive?”
// I'm not sure if this is a joke or not (lol), but I'm bored right now, so I'll turn this into an analysis. xD
Ayato is so attractive because he is the most universally appealing, which means he can appeal to almost everyone because his features are designed to be considered beautiful by most people, since they allow him to have this duality.
Ayato's face isn’t as feminine as Azusa's, for example, but it’s also not as masculine as Yuma's. It’s the ideal balance of feminine and masculine and he has both soft and sharp features.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ayato is youthful but he doesn’t look young, like Kanato or mature like Reiji. You can notice him switching from ray of sunshine to the serious Ayato and even if it’s the same person, he can change his vibe completely. So yes, he can do both.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He isn’t human-looking like Shu, nor is he overdesigned like Carla. Both the Diaboys mentioned here are good-looking in their own ways but a design that is too normal or too detailed isn't for everyone when the character is supposed to look out of this world, as a demonic creature, but not completely ethereal, otherwise he wouldn't fit in the Human World anymore. That was clearly demonstrated in Bloody Ghost, where they were all dressed up as demonic beings after all:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
His design is lively, with more shades of red and pink in his hair and jade green eyes, but not too vibrant. There are Diaboys like Subaru and Kino who have a dull color scheme. They both have really pretty red eyes, but unless it's a close-up, they're barely noticeable because they're always drawn small, so the focal point will be their hair and outfits. They have white and black hair and mostly wear white and black or dark-colored clothes, therefore they lack too much color . Kou, on the other hand, has an overly vivid color palette. His hair is blonde and his eyes are bright blue, but his outfits are too vibrant, especially the casual hot pink one. I believe that a darker shade of pink, blue, or white would make him look even better and more eye-pleasing.
HIS EYES. Ayato's eyes are definitely his most noticeable feature; they're big, bright and stand out a lot, but what I found most interesting about them is that he can change his eye-shape! They go from round to almond to upturned, allowing him to be very expressive.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To sum it up, Ayato is indeed a flawed character but his design is perfect for Diabolik Lovers, which is why most people find him incredibly attractive.

Laito And Abandonment Issues
There is this behavior I have noticed from Laito, that happens whenever Laito thinks Yui is trying to "escape" him. This is just one thing that makes dating Laito so toxic. He has this constant fear of Yui leaving him and her dying. This is seen with the Daylight CD's and chapters in the games.
(bit of a long read)
Pretty much, his BIG problem with why Yui and him fight is because of this mindset and trauma. Of course this mindset and trauma became a thing because of his horrible mother. With her having a sexual relationship with him and using him. The abandonment issues all started then, he loved her and she only used him, she was not his and this has effected him greatly in relationships. He NEEDS people(men) to know that Yui is his, because in the past his "lover" was not. This can be seen with Kou in MB, when he flaunt the pictures of him and Yui, he NEEDED Kou to know to back off and that Yui was his, and there is nothing he could do about it. This way he is in control, which in most in his life, he was not. (his a petty bitch-I love him).
But I mostly want to talk about his way of "putting Yui in her place" I guess you could say, In Date Fate and Chaos Lineage. Right so in Date Fate, Yui is trying to help Laito by talking to his brothers, so she tricks Laito to make him fall asleep and go to the castle. But Laito being big brain, he knew something was up. He then followed her and was big angry deep voice boy. He believes that Yui wants to get rid of him, that she no longer loves him, or maybe it was a lie from the start. His used to this treatment, and that was his only "love" he has experienced, so of course he is going to have not only abandonment issues but trust issues as well. For "betraying" him, he legit is like "Oh you love me? Then you can never leave my side" Again. That need of staying in control. Well if you tie her up, she cant do anything you don't want her to do.
And we see this again, in Chaos Lineage. Laito getting jealous of Kou and tying Yui up. I believe this time was more, not him scared SHE was going to do anything, but "protecting" her. DF was more out of fear of her leaving him, while CL was more the fear of men taking her away from him. So either way, he is afraid of losing her. Of course people are afraid of losing their lover, but I think it is clear that Laito CANNOT deal with the mere thought of Yui leaving him in a healthy way. This now comes to Daylight. Laito becomes very impulsive under a lot of stress. He holds a lot of emotions, and it is hard to digest when he becomes like this. Everything he was holding back behind that mask comes to light all at once, I cannot think of how awful that must feel like for him.
Under stress, he becomes angry I have noticed, and puts all of his stress and anger onto Yui. He does not know how to cope with this height of stress, he laches out because he does not know, for one, that he acting in that way, two, how to calm it and third, how to catch it before his mind goes wild. Honestly, as I am a person with anxiety, I think he may have it as well. It seems like once he is in a runt, it only gets worse and worse to the point he gets like in Track 4. He realizes reality, he cannot deal with dubbed reality and closes his heart and acts as if he is not hurt. What he does is getting rid of what is hurting him, and plans to kill Yui. (Messed up I know, like what the fuck is up with Laitos routes and CD's and dying? Like omg please stop. LE ending fucked me up :))
This mindset, the mindset of him only able to see the bad, he is only able to see that one day Yui will die and so that means his life will be worthless. This is why he doesn't stop wanting to die, even though finding love. Even though he has found happiness, the world will just not allow him to fully keep this happiness. It is truly a tragedy, as Yui is not able to life forever, he knows this, and acts out. Whenever I am reading Laitos route, I am always thinking of how fucked up he is going to be once Yui is gone. It is truly is tragic.

TW: SA, R@PE, ABU5E, HYPERS3XUALIZATION
Today I will be trying to understand Laito Sakamaki as a SA survivor myself.
Laito Sakamaki character analysis. (Only on some parts).
It is demanding of me to make a post like this, please be nice.
As we all know, Laito is quite perverted. I will in not any case try to excuse any of his disgusting actions. The messages I want to convey are:
• What drove him to become like this
• Don’t romanticize that part of Laito
Maybe some of you don’t know Laito’s complete backstory. His mother was Cordelia, an abusive woman who tormented mentally and physically Ayato, neglected Kanato and sexually abused Laito.
Yes, it was sexual abuse, because I’m sick of people over the internet saying: « Laito liked this! ». Laito was a child, hence he couldn’t consent. Plus, his mother made him believe the only way for him to get her attention was to have sex with her. Plus, under no circumstances you should have sex with your child (I am sick I have to remind this). She manipulated him in believing that she was in love with her own kid in order to have sexual relationships with him. So, emotional blackmail+incest+Laito being a CHILD: Laito was raped.
When Karlheinz found out about their distorted relationship, he locked Laito in the dungeon as punishment. This is when Laito found out Cordelia was having sex with many other men and said she would do nothing to help him getting out of his prison because she only used him for sex.
Since then, Laito started believing love meant sex and it should be forced upon everyone to make people understand the truth: love doesn’t exist, it only exist for carnal desire.
When he met Yui, he mocked her because she reminded him of his naivety in the past for believing love was real, and in his own disgusting way, he wanted to show her that love was just an illusion, before he fell in love with her. All this led Laito to have an unclear view of what love is.
So sure, you can love Laito Sakamaki, he’s actually my favorite Sakamaki. But under no circumstances you should romanticize his perverted side by saying « that’s what makes the character cool ». Sure, it’s one of his most noticeable character trait, and I love to exploit it when writing him. But saying that’s how you want people in real life to behave and romanticizing hypersexuality is just going too far.
Hypersexuality is the fact of having poor sexual impulse control, having unsafe and dangerous sex, and in "large quantity" if I can say it like this. It can be a symptom after SA and rape. Believe me from personal experience, there is nothing to romanticize about this. It is painful, shameful, and hell to deal with.
Laito is clearly hypersexual, it’s his way to cope, because that’s how he feels "love". The problem with his hypersexuality is that it can be done without consent, so he repeats a cycle of abuse and rape inherited by his mother.
Laito is in pain, he has unhealthy coping mechanisms for him that also greatly affects others, and seeing people romanticizing that part of him makes me sick in my stomach.
Sure, you’re allowed to love his perverted side, I like it too. But romanticizing hypersexuality? Please don’t.

Aww!!! I love your new Ayato story. To be honest, when I read the tags and the description, it was very hard for me to imagine a combination between Ayato and drugs, but I was very wrong, because now I started to get addicted to this story as well as Ayato. The idea feels so real and doable. I'm even now convinced that if Ayato was human in the canon universe, without those supernatural powers and vampiric sadism, he'd handle the situation in a similar way, since there's no way he'd be the asocial loser in class (-: However, his super beauty as a vampire doesn't work here, and it wouldn't be realistic just to exist to have friends :-*
hey anon! thank you so much! i'm excited to continue it, hoping i get another chapter in before christmas. here's the fic for anyone wondering, it's called the basketball diaries and i'll ramble a lil bit here, don't mind me.
putting it under a cut for discussions of drugs
so i've been writing drug addict fics for a real long time now and i generally consider myself able to make any character into an addict, primarily due to my wide scope of knowing and under the pretext of "it can happen to anyone", and in dialovers, i've now written shu, reiji, laito, subaru, ruki, kou, yuma and azusa. hence i moved to ayato.
ayato has gone up a lot in my heart since i first found dialovers in 2017 and especially since my re-obsession era in 2021. the more i read him, esp LE, the more i learn about his strengths and weaknesses. he's vulnerable, he's got academic trauma. he wants to do well, he does, but he's scared of trying because he doesn't want to make himself look stupid.
and contrary to the ayato can't read joke on my DL server, ayato can read and i think he's pretty smart if he really wants to do something. i.e. his MB after story he DOES get a degree but it's for yui's sake. he has to have a reason. and without said reason, he's void of motivation and frankly doesn't really know HOW to try.
you're right, ayato acts like a silly goofy big strong vampire because he's convincing himself he's The Shit. he bigs himself up as Yours Truly, pretends he's the best, because his entire self-worth growing up was based on the assumption he was going to be The Best. and if he's not The Best, then he's a failure.
when you combine that mindset with a situation where he obviously isn't going to be the best, you have a perfect recipe to write a drug fic i think.
he can't possibly be that guy with no friends, he wants to be liked and the best. but most importantly, he has a deep intrinsic desire to be the best academically too. but he never learnt to study, he has zero self-worth, and starting uni away from his closest brothers (laito n subaru in this case) in a difficult degree is challenging. couple this with the fact i gave him ADHD bc ADHD ayato has my heart, he's lost. and because being the best in his mind is more important than his own health and sense of self, he'd be willing to do anything to maintain that. and if he found a drug which does that for him, why wouldn't he use it, yknow?
i won't spoil too much about the fic there by mentioning yui's role in this (bc yui doesn't appear until ch11 unfortunately), but this is an overview of why i'm so excited to write an ayato addict fic finally.
on a similar note, next up Might be shin, actually. shin has potential, mostly from stuff in his LE. because of endzeit, shin very much has this mindset where he needs to prove he's sick in order to get validation. like he needs to be sick to prove something about himself. obviously if this weren't canon then endzeit can't be a thing, but i could talk for hours and hours and HOURS about the "needs to be ill to get validation of health" trauma (mainly due to personal experience) and it'd be really interesting to write in the context of drug addiction!

K A N A T O + T E D D Y
first off ima do some small basics and backgrounds cause yes- this is just gonna be a deep dive analysis
Kanato Sakamaki ;; 17 ;; race: vampire ;; status: alive. Kanato is currently a 2nd year in HS. companion: Teddy
Kanato grew up with his two brothers, Laito and Ayato. His mother’s name is Cordelia and his fathers name is Karlheinz. Though Kanato suffered a different and more mental abuse from his mother it was still horrific. Cordelia often made Kanato sing for hours for her, deeming him her “little songbird” he’d sing so much his vocal cords would bleed. Kanato also seems to get whatever he wanted from his mother, as she adored his looks and how much he looked like her. Kanato was very lonely child and often played with whatever dolls he had gotten; neglected whenever his other brothers got more attention then he did. Due to this off and on attachment that formed with his mother Kanato became extremely possessive and clingy of his mother; burning her corpse when he finds her, satisfied he could claim her as “his” as he keeps her ashes in teddy.
Though Kanato was often discarded for Ayato due to his mother trying to make Ayato the next Heir, he and Ayato have a somewhat brotherly relationship (as seen when Ayato tells Kanato he’ll catch his bats he lost.)
Kanato and Laito have a much more strained relationship. Laito often uses the fact that he’s older against Kanato, which angers Kanato very much (he doesn’t like being told what to do.) which often ends in Kanato threatening to “cut him into a bunch of pieces”.
Facts about…
Kanato, who often was made to sing “Scarborough Fair” by his mother. Kanato hates spicy and bitter food but loves very sweet things. he has a deep interest in making human dolls and preserving them in their young beauty. his favorite dessert is raspberry pudding.
ooohhhh kay now why i like him the part you’re all waiting for.
For starters i relate very very heavily to Kanato, from the abuse to his bipolar like personality, his possessiveness tendencies, his interest in human dolls, his liking of dolls, etc. my bipolar isn’t nearly as bad as it was but i still feel very heavily for him,, along with that the immense neglect he had as a child (though he was given physical things it’s not enough for a child.) like mentioned, i’m quite fascinated with his human dolls and the concept of them, he wishes to preserve them in their beauty but it’s also his was of “claiming them” and showing them his love. (killing someone in the DL universe is the highest extent of love.) the also extreme attachment issues he has is also very relatable, going so far as to keep his mothers ashes with him at all times (which i totally would never do-) though his bipolar personality is a lot, it most likely stems from his need to get A. what he wants B. control, as people often ignore his outburst or stay away as not to anger him (and they think he’s weird :( ) i think i like his personality a lot because it makes me want to take care of him and help him, and it’s relatable,, he’s also just a very fascinating character. OMFG I ALMOST FORGOT HUS PERFECT LAUGH HOLY SHIT I LOVE IT SO MUCH (specifically jp one but anyway-!) ahhhhhhhhh his laugh is so perfect and just- i’d go on killing sprees with him *thumbs up*. also he likes sweets— immediately 1000000000000xinfity outta ten.
i have a vivid dream? uh imagination? of us running from roof top to roof top singing and laughing. anyway ily Kanato so much and ahhhhh like- idk (how do i end this)

I never understood Reiji's goals and intentions until I came across your blog. You have literally analyzed the entire game in such a detailed way that in the end you can't help but think about his psychology and character. I admit that before I read every one of your posts about this boy, I always found him to be the most boring Sakamaki brother and I couldn't explain his actions, but thanks to you I decided to give him 1 more chance. What I like most is the fact that even though he is your favorite, you don't justify or sugar coat him like many people do with their favorite character, but you appreciate, examine and explain his flaws and mental problems, trying to analyze like a true psychologist. Respect for the work you have done. I saw that you're planning more posts like this in the future and that you're going to try other characters like Ayato, who I think shares quite a bit of Reiji's personality. I can't wait for it.
Ah! Thank you, I'm glad you decided to give him one (1) more chance [even though you shouldn't, he's very rude]. BUT your point is exactly the reason why I wanted to analyse him in the first place. He's generally considered 'boring' or 'annoying' to deal with, and his dialogue can be hard to sift through if you're only looking at him at surface level.
I know I've said many times that I wanted More Blood done and dusted before now - and I genuinely thought I'd be finished, but sadly over 100k words isn't enough words for our boy - that and I'm ☆chronically ill☆ at the moment. I feel like a sick Victorian child lmao
I am getting through the transcripts, but very slowly. It doesn't help that I was on the verge of a stroke when someone decided to ☆delete☆ a section of my work. Thank you Ctrl + Z because I was about to invoke the most destructive gamer rage this world has ever seen.
I am glad that you decided to send this ask Anon since I never really knew how much this could help people understand Reiji (even if it's just from my perspective). I feel like the best way to thoroughly appreciate a character is to acknowledge their flaws, and I'm glad you're able to appreciate them too >3<
But I do think you're right about Ayato. I feel like he definitely shares a lot of traits with Reiji, but more so as his opposite. I feel like Reiji and Ayato have a ying/yang code to them; I stand by my interpretation that Ayato represents chaos and that Rejii represents order.
[For your diligence, please take this sanrio Reiji]
Tumblr media
Also, mini rant: I can't be the only one that instantly thinks of Zhongli whenever they see the word 'order', right? The line just goes through my head like the plague, so now my brain decided to fuse him and Reiji together, and now I'm stuck with this:
Tumblr media
that feels like a ☆violation☆ of fandoms

Whether or not they become parents, do you think that the Diaboys would be good financially supportive partners WITHOUT the assets provided with being old-money vampire royalty (I REALLY don't think they would let their partner get a job because they're possessive, insecure bastards that get emasculated by the slightest thing)?
Oh absolutely not, when I say they’re abusive pricks I mean they are full-on abusive. They’ve been around for centuries, they know what drives humans to desperation, what deprived naive girls want.
With no outlook nor guidance on how to manage themselves in the world, financial abuse is the perfect way to control someone especially if you want to settle with them.
Mental, physical, and emotional abuse is something they consistently use to manipulate and gaslight anyway but I think finances play a key role in domestic abuse; they’re most likely to re-create the perfect ideal family but they have to know about everything otherwise their illusion of control is slipping from their grasp.
Whether it be with children or just herself it makes it near impossible for the bride to escape if she has no monetary guidance, straight from when she was 16 she was exposed to the Sakamaki’s twisting her view on the world leaving her with large trust issues whether she'd like to admit it or not. Hence the Sakamaki’s are very likely to control household expenses, bills, family funds etc because there’s a chance she could secretly start saving up making it easier for her to escape not that she would get far before they’d hunt her down to kill her for betraying them, but yeah.
Which is why I think you’re very correct about them restricting the bride from getting a job, a job means she is going out learning skills like her local neighbourhood, other people who aren’t god-awful people and genuinely support her, and how to handle her salary, she’ll start making friends going on company trips and seeing more of the world than the snowglobe the boys built for her and that’s simply unacceptable.
They need the control, they’ll throw tantrums and set her up constantly under the farce of looking out for her or telling her she has no need to work or playing the emotional game of clinging to her or accusing her of meeting other men and abandoning them or just straight up shutting her down. Think in general just sabotage her work life, delete files, sleep with her co-workers to fuck with her, bribe someone to grope her in the workplace or get her boss to constantly give her exhausting work so she just prefers “safety within their arms”.
Totally true on the whole emasculation thing, the boys are very much invested in toxic masculinity and all of its stereotypes, it's insulting to them if you think they can't provide for you. So yeah all in all I think you're correct.

Finally, this is the post where I will talk in detail about Irina, trying to be as clear and understandable as possible for those who want to know more about her or need extra data for any reason. I will do my best to introduce you in this post: Irina's behavior and morals, as well as the background and origin of all this.
Also keep in mind that I will tell here the weaknesses and even triggerings of the character and, although I do not care at all if you later want to use this information in your favor for the rp interactions, I cannot guarantee that Irina will take it lightly.
In any case, I also talked a little bit about Irina's personality in her character information sheet.
Pspspspsps get your data juice @besnella
----------------------------------------------------------
✏️ A bit of Context
To begin with, I will explain what Irina represents and that's: Balance.
Irina possesses an equal balance of both dark feminine energy* and light feminine energy**, this being called the divine feminine energy; in the same way, it shows the balance of this feminine energy with her masculine energy, which is very present, especially in her physical features. You can also see the balance of power in her family status because being a daughter, her power and authority is below that of her parents, but being the firstborn, she is still given greater importance and leadership over her siblings.
This balance is shown again also in its own zodiac sign: Libra, which is represented by the scales. There is also a balance between the human and the supernatural in its nature. The responsibility and versatility of entertainment. Maturity and innocence. Beauty and intelligence... And so on.
However, because I am a very bitchy creator, all this balance is physical, aesthetic... I mean, a shield that Irina made to protect herself and hold on to something that can soothe her and make her feel safe and in complete control of herself and her surroundings.
Irina is a very perfectionist, self-demanding and self-critical person. All the harmony and peace, that false balance is an image that Irina creates of herself to be able to impose herself and give herself courage over the rest like an impeccable wall without the slightest crack so that it is impossible to collapse. And with this contrasts a lot the chaos that she has inside.
Irina always tries to keep her feet firmly on the ground so as not to be vulnerable, and therefore she does not allow herself to dream or fantasize in a childish way. Irina is even very cynical both with herself and with others as long as it is not someone very important to her. She always comes across as very human, very gentle and empathetic to new people (as long as the match starts well from the beginning) just to maintain a good reputation and in fact, so she can have the advantage of having a low profile so she can use others to her advantage if need be.
Irina actually lacks generosity and empathy, the latter being very conditional (what relationship/connection there is, the situation and even if she can reflect herself in the experience). Her greed and ambition encourage her to be very stubborn about achieving success in her goals and therefore she is not afraid to do anything to anyone to achieve it.
For this reason Irina is quite treacherous, two-faced, fake and even hypocritical.
She always maintains at least a small level of distrust in everyone, but she is very insecure of herself. Irina has an internal conflict where she doesn't mind burning every corner of the world to survive, but at the same time she fears abandonment, rejection, and she fears loneliness very much; the latter causes her to try to control her impulses to keep those individuals important to her by her side.
And well if biologically she is a hybrid (half human and half demon***), she no longer has any crumb of humanity due to her experiences in the past that little by little were pulling out that empathy, solidarity and human kindness.
Now, where does all this darkness come from?
Irina from her birth until the age of 5 lived isolated from any contact with society in a cabin in a wooded mountain with her parents, there she was only in charge of playing and helping with the cleaning, preparing the food, taking care of the farm animals they had and collecting some products (berries, mushrooms, etc.) with her mother. Her father was not at home most of the time, but if both parents had to leave the house, Irina was left locked in the cabin.
This caused Irina to begin to create quite unrealistic expectations of what the world around her was like, having as her only reference the few stories she had. This also affected her socialization, leaving her exposed to any kind of traps because they were unknown to her.
With the birth of her sister Camille, her family moved to Belgium where she has been raised for most part of her life. Like her father, being of noble origin, he managed to raise the status of his family in the country and thus return to living a dignified life.
Having lived from the beginning a very basic and primary life, where you had to survive with hard work and effort to bring everything yourself to make the daily bread, the arrival of a new life full of luxuries, servants and civilization only got worse. Irina's reality, making her fall even more into the dream that everything was as it was told in the stories.
However, this new way of life was only going to doom her more.
All the responsibilities that Irina had living in the mountains vanished as other people did it for her, but other responsibilities came instead, along with enormous pressure. Now that they were exposed to humans, there were strict rules to follow in order to fit into society, and this was really difficult for Irina due to her lack of experience with communicating, protecting herself from others, and blending in with the crowd.
Irina went to a school with other children of the same status and faced with the view that if she did not behave in the same way as them, she was rejected. Therefore, she began to imitate their actions regardless of whether they were good or bad.
Her socialization expanded and she soon learned to communicate with others as well as master her charisma, but in the long run the antics that were innocent to the children caused her father to become dissatisfied and finally ended up sitting Irina at home and receiving their education with hired tutors. Locked up again.
Taking numerous academic classes from tutors and her own father, along with other extracurricular classes such as ballroom dancing, etiquette, embroidery, art and music, Irina began to experience stress and anxiety to the point of collapsing.
Arnold, her father, through education with punishments nailed in Irina the need for constant self-improvement and the desire to please her father. Because she only pursued her father's expectations, she lost her own desires and goals.
The lack of affection, disbelief and fantasy mentality exposed her to a toxic relationship that began to further erode Irina's self-confidence, as well as her sanity.
Because the lies were painted as scenarios from a romantic novel, Irina was very permissive with the mistreatment thinking that it was normal and acceptable when you didn't make someone happy.
Obviously Irina's relationship end sentenced the death of her own humanity and brought a wave of family problems that worsened her empathic rationality until her current situation.

Basically, girl needs therapy 😔👌🏻
I was not going to go into detailed info about her past, since there would be big spoilers from Irina's route.
* Dark Feminine: Is all about being dominant, assertive and most importantly, sultry. It's about setting boundaries, saying no to people and manifesting success. The Dark Feminine is the expression of the dark, positive, and necessary energy that captures the mysteries of womanhood and magic, the chaos of creation and destruction, death and birth, transformation, rage, fierce compassion, seduction, and pure spiritual ecstasy.
** Light Feminine: However it consists of the angelic appearance, conservative and feeling love with all its magnitude. This energy is wise, compassionate, graceful, subtle, and innocence. This magic is mostly enhanced by the help and healing of others, the exercise of patience and the passion for diplomacy above all; this energy is what transforms you by helping others.
*** Demon: This is not a definition, but since all the Makai clans are really species of demons, but with different qualities and characteristics, the origin of the Owl breed (Bat + Adler) is not considered a hybrid because they are from the same family. In other words, it would be like mixing two different breeds of dog or a closer case, 2 humans of different races/ethnicities.
