I’ve been reworking my Welcome Home oc Loreley for the past few days XD

I’ve also been doing some design study of a few wonderful fan artists in the fandom that have the most scrumptious art style that fits the fandom to help understand the general WH style better for future reference.

Shoutout to @nohomie since I’ve studied their adorable oc Dolly a lot with their anatomy and facial structure. (She’s so stinking cute I can’t help but love her and her train conductor theme XD)

Some more Hello puppets headcannons

The not related post. like I said before it will take quite a long time to complete due to being busy thinking about our arguments and digging evidence + I am working on some drawings that I owed that got a bit delayed due to a wrist injury.

One of my friends asked me if @dolly-royal and I had more headcannons, so I am making more headcannons based on what I got from both games. I did ask her about her headcannons on a Tumblr ask, but it will take a bit since she doesn't enter the app as much as I do.

So, into the list of headcannons! (I apologize if some headcannons were repeated. I can't remember them all)

Owen identifies as an Aroace man, so he doesn't feel any romantic or sexual attraction towards anyone. This was something that didn't reflect on the puppets themselves (since there is evidence against if that translate into the puppets) I just don't think they got everything from Owen.

In show, Riley has always been the sarcastic type of character that will break it to you in the fun comedic way. Mortimer is usually the one that calms her down. This sorta happens in the game but it's less friendly

After the takeover, Mortimer ordered the handemen to clean up the studio to get rid of the cattle stuff (as humans are considered cattle ) that is not used to them. Nick was begrudgingly cleaning until he discovered some art books which help him develop his style.

Daisy suffers from Anxiety and most likely from multiple personality (as I think the game implies Owen developed too) so she has a hard time dealing with her danger alter ego until Riley helped her accept her. Now they are friends.

Although Daisy seems sweet and overly nice, Daisy feels a pressure to constantly be nice towards others out of fear of getting Mortimer's anger but also due to her steem issues believing no one will like her. Innerly Daisy is more of a wine aunt and actually curses. Danger represents Daisy's repressed feelings

Daisy tries to avoid conflict because she will not be nice and will prop have a rude attitude (Which is part of her real self ) + it estresses her out

My personal headcannon for Riley's sexuality is that she's a demiromantic ace (a bit of self inset since I'm also demiromantic but not an ace) but has no interest in relationships

Nick is very touch starve that he would melt into affection he receives. Mortimer refuses to be touch unless he lets you momentarily do so (prop just Riley, although is just to hold hands) Riley is quite touch starved but she gets overwhelmed by affection, so she doesn't let anyone approach her. Daisy will break your back and rips due to hugging so hard. She's a hugger

Daisy loves sewing as Riley taught her how. Now she makes tiny costumes for the pupidge and sock puppet rats because they might get cold :]

I think this was established and confirmed by Andrew (main writer of both games) on the official discord server, but Riley has a personal hosts of her own to do work but uses Rosco as a method of transportation because she takes bonding with the good boi very seriously

In the human world /no game (heavily inspired by Delly's works) Mortimer and Riley spent some time reading together and they sometimes hold hands for closure. (Up to your interpretation, I intend this as a cute platonic thing)

When discussing plans, Riley excitedly listens to what Mortimer has to say. Nick is bored and Daisy is prop staring blankly at the whiteboard. Riley is the only one that makes suggestions and cares for the plans

Riley is actually a very neat and organized person when it comes to her labs only, she tends to be a bit careless when she experiments outside the labs

Nick tends to not care about messes since it's artistic value and Daisy insists on cleaning after everyone much to Rileys irritation.

Nick as much as he's a hopeless romantic and an over the top romantic type man/puppet he still have some momments of being slightly a perv (just an itty bitty it. Like a miniscule atom) after discovering some magazines before burning them away after realizing what they were. He felt so bad but the damage is done and now he has a slightly blush in rare occasions by thanks to that.

The puppets got their books from hosts they captured, so that's sorta why Riley got the "Lord of the Rings" books. The puppets figured a way to decodify the human language (just some know how to translate it) Daisy got the hoeswife magazines, we all know Nick is the one who owns the romance books. Riley has science fiction and research papers. Mortimer owns a collection of history books and Machiavelli's the prince (Phantom will never let go the fact that they had to read the damned book! She hates it so much lol. PS. : I use she/they pronouns)

Taking from the previous Headcannon. Mortimer spends some time with Riley translating the history books as she's the most proficient in reading and translating the host written language. They go into long discussions and lectures over what they are reading.

Machiavelli and history where some things that helped Mortimer get ahold the idea of Kings and ruling. He also reads psychology books and Shakespeare. He also read animal because I also love animal farm xd (I really wanna read 1984)

I’ve been trying different flavors of dairy-free milk tea from this mochi donut place lately and those are really good so I guess I’ll go with that.

Favorite outfit aesthetic: I like Lolita and cute punk stuff, pastel goth, and pastel and goth styles separately as well. ( I don’t actually own any of these myself atm cause I’m a poor bitch. But someday. )

Scarlett is one to praise and acknowledge things, all things except her own feelings. A lot of time would pass before Scarlett decides to verbally express her love, to the point one would think she keeps acting the same way before they start dating, as in, she probably does X or Y because she appreciates Cassie, not because she loves her kind of train of thought. Which is not true but Scarlett ain't making it easy to differentiate 💀

This is before the first time she says The Words, of course. It might get easier afterwards, but she can go a loooooooong way without feeling the need to say it and just assuming that Cassie just knows (?) But asking her about it could make things worse.

Like if she's asked 'do you love me?' she'd spurt some nonsense and say a super insecure '... I guess' WHICH MAY NOT BE THE BEST ANSWER and that is if she answers at all 😭

She would also get Cassie art supplies when she's running out of paint or needs a new canvas. She will ask what kind of things she needs and might need to write them down because the brands, the colors, the numbers, the styles??????? But she'd also go out of her way and buy some art related thing that could be useless/not Cassie's style but it was cute like a cheap 00 mini liner brush that somehow reminded her of her gf so she got it anyway.

EYYYYMOSTER HIGH IS BACK WITCHESSokay adult enby obcessed with dolls cringe ahead.I am so excited for the return, I LOOOOVE figures and dolls, especially ones centered around monsters and myths, so monster high reels me in like a sucker.I really dont draw many teens, but seeing the new box art for the dolls looking more teenage than mid twenties is actually kinda nice! I like a lot of the changes, Clawdeen, whos just always pretty much the best main character in previous gens, now she's more centeral and main character I'm sooo excited! This design is kinda a combination of her box art and doll art for the new series I love that she has glasses and freckles, and just the cutest little outfit, I did forego the chain on her belt and adding details to her belt but IDC i think ti looks fine without, it was too much for me with the pattern around it, needed to have a diffrent texture between her clothes and belt.Tried to draw her with a more teen body than I typically draw (<5% of my ocs are under 20.) and I'm pretty okay with it, I think maybe her face looks a little aged tho? lacking baby fat? IDK but I'm mostly happy with her, she's just sooo cute. If you're into MH lemme know what your fave character or doll is!! I missed a bunch and I love hearing people talk about things I like that they enjoy. :lmao: (Don't be creepy about lil clawdeen, she is a child.)

How have I never drawn my original bunny waifu in a bunny suit?I asked myself this while browsing my galley so picked her for my first Bunny Suit Art Jam 2022 held by @atomictiki (RIP his tumblr lol)  It's Peridot, the best design and most fun character in Puchi Carat according to me. I tried to mix in some of her original art style in making it a little more anime in the eyes and the white highlight is based directly on how they draw highlights in her official art. Anyway, I quite like this one! Hope I manage to get a couple more done for the month, but I'm taking a short holiday soon so that may interrupt that plan! I'll see what happens.

Okay I got another idea for Bunny suit jam by atomictiki, a character who's been drawn in one a few times, has a figure of her in one too, but I wanted to do some sorta classic anime vibes.

One of my earliest childhood crushes I rememebr is Ryoko Hakubi, I never got far in the anime but she really grabbed my heart with a vice like grip, I love her english dub voice too, that kinda deeper sarcastic sound? love it, it's actually what inspired me to draw Ryoko, the fact that Eda has a simailir voice, caused me to remember my love for Ryoko.

So I don't make a lot of videos anymore because I'm mostly hyperfocused on visual art these days but anYWAY I am trying to make a cute little parody song video with a couple songs by Dolly Parton, and I HAVE GOTTA TELL YA I have a newfound appreciation for that woman's songwriting and vocal talent and stage presence because WOW IT IS HARD TO SING/PLAY THESE SONGS!

Like, they are in my range and I'm trying to be very careful to warm up and not hurt my voice, but GODDAMN even my parody lyrics had to be adjusted because I realized she wrote the song to include mainly words with vowel sounds that are great for a country/western song style!

What?!?! In all my years of several days of formal musical theory studies, I have never been able to notice such a thing on my own! I was just wondering why tf it was easier to sing her version even though I had matched the rhyming meter with mine and was like omg!!! I think I fixed it tho! [Autism powers: ACTIVATE!!!]

Anyway I'm p sure the reason that woman's boobs are so big must be that she is keeping ALL HER AIR IN THERE because idk how else one sings songs this loud and fast and well

Virgo Rising, Gemini Rising = if you have been following me for sometime you'd know that I am a fan of Mercurian beauty, they're seriously underrated in my opinion:) super dreamy eyes, youthful look (elegant for virgo, beaming for gemini). their skins tend to be very porcelain like as in very velvety and nice, or they can look good with little to no make-up✨ also a lot of gemini risings have amazing sparkling eyes that speak to others, their cheeks are often times so blushy and cute!! some of the hottest people i have met were also either gemini/virgo rising. SO insecure deep down though cause some of y'all astrologers keep calling virgo rising alien faces💀 if being a total smokeshow with so much ambitions and potentials visually and careerwise is what an alien looks like then i'll sign up to be the next experiment please. i volunteer as tribute. Addison Rae is a fantastic example for a Gemini Rising in my opinion. She seem very neurotic yet her aura is so mesmerizing yet youthful!! Gemini Risings tend to have amazing smiley eyes👼🏼

-> Theres this certain charm to them thats so distinctive!! Most Gemini Rising have a very sweet and playful aura to them. Their eyes are doe-like and their lips might not even be thick yet its usually very well-shaped.

Cancer Rising: I have said this so many times but I haven't met a single ugly cancer rising before. The women in particular are simply flawless, their skin are pretty good and usually are a bit sensitive though!! Cancer also rules flower according to the book of rulership so perhaps why these people often have a blooming beauty and often age backwards. Cancer rising women are very similar to Capricorn rising women in this aspect and I believe a lot of astro blogs have covered it:) Cancer rising will make money off of being famous though. Pisces Rising: My biggest flaw is how I never appreciate Pisces Rising enough. They are seriously underrated gods and goddeses and while they do look extremely ethereal, I never got the chance to tell you guys how Pisces Rising can read others like no other. I notice that there eyes are one of their most prominent features and theres something about them that just feels so intimate:) Very expressive in terms of facial expression, gorgeous teeth and eyes. Extremely elegant. I think their energy overall are very angelic. Pisces rising eyes are not traditionally attractive imo, but they have this smiley eyes and with their gorgeous smiles they just look so proportionate😭 The amount of time people would mistake them for Libra Rising is crazy. They're super intuitive and often times are so so so good with feelings. More rational than people think though:)

Adriana Lima, one of the most gorgeous VS angels ever herself have 1H in Pisces. Notice how her eyes really stand out and how her vibe is very alluring but not overbearing, its like magnets that pull us to her energy.

Asking more questions soon, but here is a little backstory how Lilac accidentally created Huggy’s new and healthier identity.

The fun thing is I actually really accidentally draw his shape to look like this, I didn’t intend it to loom like this, but it looked too cute to change to the original style, so I kept it, making it really fit into the AU lore more with a bit of character, new personality, you know all that jazz.

Lilac: He is a new blueberry.

Huggy: *still snuggling Lilac till today*

Hello, I request 1 band of brothers ship, please.

I have short black hair that is close to my shoulders with very dark brown eyes (when I say very you can just imagine black because you can’t even see my irises) and I have pale skin kind of. I have a Marilyn Monroe type body but I like to wear baggy clothes. I’m really into Dark Academia due to my love for history and art. I want to be an art historian hopefully when I’m older. I really like to paint especially in a classical or 50s style. I love to travel around the world and drag people to museums, but Im kind of introverted as well. I usually prefer to stay home and watch movies and watch someone play a video game. I’m usually a backseat gamer. I like to talk about philosophy and different religions, and I like to think I’m quite open minded. I also am a feminist and i am very defensive when a guy makes fun of me and my friends. I don’t waste my time with people who are bigoted or just idiots in general. I can seem as a perfectionist and arrogant, but I just have a resting face. I’m a lot more open once you get to know me. - You and Joe would travel quite a bit together. You are always dragging him to tours and museums, which he grumbles about.

- But more often than he’ll admit he gets reallllyy into it. You’ll be ready to move on to the next gallery and Joe will be mesmerised by a painting to the point where you have to pull him away.

- It’s the same thing on historical walking tours. He’ll grumble about how boring it’ll be but he’ll end up being besties with the tour guide by the end.

- Sometimes this is annoying because Joe’s extroverted self forces you into conversations with strangers. (You just wanted to hang out towards the back of the group and listen!) But it’s cute how into it he gets despite his resistance.

- You and Joe really compliment each other. Your attitudes, your energy, your values— the things that really matter in a long lasting relationship are there.

Hello, sorry this took longer - responding to one of the kindest messages I have ever received was something very special and the last few weeks have just been so busy.

Firstly, the “vintage feeling” is something I have always wanted to lean into but couldn’t turn it on and off. But ohmygod someone noticed?! I'm feeling like andy Dwyer and his “I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm doing really well” quote.

Second, all the colouring is the product of experimenting with overlays on Procreate, which are not the best lol. Personally, I was on the fence about how it looked but I am super glad someone liked it.

The expressions are always the hardest part but usually the most rewarding for me - I'm sososo glad you like them. Capturing fluid scenes and getting someone to come up with a little backstory is the ultimate compliment. I can barely express how much it means to me that you said that. This whole comment is so reassuring, complimenting all the things I was insecure about in this piece.

Now, I am saving the dog part for last because it is going to be long and annoying and you only asked for her name lol. Name: I’m thinking Dolly. And like Steve and Tony sing her Dolly Parton tunes to howl along with. I tried to make her look like an Irish Wolf Hound because we had a mix when I was younger - but I’ll have to get better at it. She’s Steve’s princess. He takes her for runs in the morning with Sam and carries all 120 pounds of her around when she gives him The Look. Maybe it takes Tony a little longer to warm up to his giant dust bunny who just appeared in his home giving him puppy eyes that rivalled only Steve's.
