Erika’s Publicist Was Behind Kathy Leaks!

In this week’s episode, Erika Girardi introduced us to her new publicist and revealed that she was no longer working with Jack Ketsoyan.

In the unseen footage from an episode last season we could see Kyle Richards accusing someone in Erika’s team of being behind the leaks about Kathy Hilton.

Kyle went on to say that Kathy had hired someone to investigate the leaks to the press, and they had found out that it was none other than Erika’s publicist, Jack.

When Kyle had confronted Erika in the episode, Erika claimed that she didn’t know who to leak information to the press, which I didn’t believe for a second.

It was obvious that the leaks were coming from either Erika or Lisa Rinna, as they were thick as thieves and trying to change the narrative on the show.

Instead of focusing on Erika’s bad behaviour amid the lawsuit scandal, they wanted the group to focus on Kathy’s bad behaviour.

Erika even said that if they’re going to punish her for her behaviour, then they should punish Kathy too.

It was obvious what she thought about the situation.

But she asked Kyle to give her all the information they had from the investigation, and now, she’s no longer working with Jack.

Is she doing damage control? She said that she still loved him, so he might not have leaked it without her consent.

Was he forced to sacrifice himself for the cause?

“We’re still friends. We’re just not in business together.”

They also showed the scene where Lisa had told Dorit Kemsley about Kathy’s meltdown in Aspen, and we can see Jack lurking in the background.

Jack, Mickey and Laia were listening to their conversation, and they were happy about the gang up that was orchestrated against Kathy.

“Good, it needs to.”

There’s no doubt in my mind that that was done to deflect the attention away from Erika, and onto Kathy’s poor behaviour.

I’ve never doubted that Kathy had said some crazy things.

But I didn’t like that she was simply a means to an end for Lisa and Erika.

I highly recommend the last season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and then this current season. It’s an exercise in how wealthy white women are also oppressed. Erika Jayne has had slander upon slander rained down upon her due to her husbands illegal actions and the fact she is unable to speak freely in full due to lawsuits. She says what she can and she has now been found completely innocent.

This season we see Dorit survive a traumatic home invasion and I cried my eyes out watching a woman go from non-traumatised to traumatised. But in showing Dorit living through this, it makes my anxiety REAL. I now know it’s not me being a bad person it is me having experienced trauma and I therefore have symptoms after the fact. I cannot explain enough just how groundbreaking- although heartbreaking - but truly groundbreaking it is to watch a woman being traumatised and SHOWING IT. Really SHOWING IT and it makes me feel less alone and normal.

Oh yeah, and ofcourse on Twitter there is the chorus of ‘she’s faking it’ ‘she’s a liar’ ‘she’s acting’. The misogyny is strong against these women and they are the whitest most privileged women you can get. I strongly urge any sympathetic feminists to join me in supporting these women on social media. And if you have anxiety like me, this season will be a difficult watch, but it may just make you feel normal.

Is Kyle the Real Master of Puppets?

I believe that Kyle Richards gets her friends to do her dirty work for her. There’s a reason why she’s never rushing into the defence of Sutton Stracke.

Annemarie Wiley, Dorit Kemsley, Faye Resnick, and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave have all fought the battles for Kyle over the years.

They’re her little minions, even if Kyle doesn’t claim Annemarie as a friend anymore.

I agree that all Sutton did to Kyle was asking questions, maybe not in the right manner. And was Sutton rude and strange this season? Yes, but so was Kyle.

Kyle was a little paranoid as she thought that Sutton came into the season with a target on Kyle’s back, and she started the insinuation storm.

“Sutton is acting off. Is she drunk? Is she mixing alcohol with her medicine? Sutton doesn’t eat. Has she got an eating disorder?”

This is the narrative that Kyle started, and she’s refusing to acknowledge any blame in it.

She’s pointing the finger to Annemarie, Dorit, and Teddi instead of owning her part in the origin of the narrative.

She actually cut Crystal Kung Minkoff off when she was about to say that it seemed like Kyle and Dorit had talked about Sutton’s drinking habit before.

When Kyle tried to defend herself by saying that she had never verbally said that Sutton had a drinking problem, Sutton’s response was:

“They won’t come out of your mouth because you’re very smart. You’re very smart and you’re very clever. You play a good game of chess.”

Who was the best at chess? Kyle or Lisa Vanderpump? This reminded me of “Munchausen syndrome” from season 6.

Lisa Rinna was blamed for it. Vanderpump was accused to be the puppet master behind it. But Kyle was the one who had implied that Yolanda Hadid had Munchausen syndrome.

As Sutton pointed out at the reunion:

“It’s the insinuation. It’s understanding your responsibility in the insinuation. You’ve got to understand this at some point, Kyle.”

But she never will. Kyle and Vanderpump are more alike than people think. They will never admit that they were behind those things.
