Can you do a headcanon of any dr.stone character with an always exhausted and introverted s/o? They’re just always exhausted with no reason why and they don’t like talking to people as that delays the possible time they could’ve been sleeping

Dr. Stone Characters with a Constantly Exhausted! Introvert! S/O.

The characters I chose for this are: Senku, Gen, Chrome, Ryusui, Hyoga, and Francois.

Random fun fact: I have the same MBTI as Senku! INTP! (Joel Gear from the manga also has the same type)

Senku Ishigami

Before you’re even dating, he may notice your constant exhaustion. It likely worries him, and he will probably try to seek out the cause.

He might confront you about how you’re sleeping at night, in order to offer advice, but even then, he makes the kingdom of science pull ungodly feets so he might just assume it’s all that hard work.

He’ll likely assume you have hyposomnia, or maybe insomnia at night, leading to sleeping throwout the day. Or something similar.

If it’s none of those, just how you are. He’ll except that and let you sleep periodically when you need to.

But he’ll likely remind you about how much sleep is TOO much sleep.

He really just means the best for you.

So if you need help sleeping better at night to prevent sleeping so much during the day, he’d make sleep drugs or melatonin.

He’s an introvert too, so he’d understand any of your personality traits pretty well.

If you just want to be alone, he understands that and will give you space.

If you don’t like big groups and need a break, that’s okay. But they need 800 manganese batteries so you can do that while you’re alone :)

He’s not very affectionate, so he’d show his love for you by giving you inventions to help you in any way you need, rather he makes them or asks a friend for a favor. So if that’s a pillow? There is left over fabric, he can ask Yuzuriha to sew it together for you.

Gen Asagiri

He understands, but he, like Senku, would be concerned.

He’d likely be trying to figure out if it’s a mental health issue. Or something typical, but harmful, like “revenge bed time.”

Insomnia can be caused by anxiety, or something of that sort. And same goes for hyposomnia.

If he rules you have neither, or even if you do, he’ll do anything he can to help you. Maybe by convincing you to go to bed earlier.

He likely would know it’s more than just this new world and the work Senku has everybody doing.

If he gets a chance though, he’s taking a nap with you. I think he’d be the type to hold you or let you sleep on his shoulder if you want.

Then he’d tell Senku he simply can’t work at the moment because it’d require waking you. (Senku would invent the megaphone just to wake you to do work)

Gen isn’t an introvert himself, but he has a strong understanding of mentalism, of course.

He’d understand you completely. And if the social life gets to be a lot, he’s got some ways to deal with it to help you.

Overall, he’d understand you don’t really want to be around everybody all the time. And that may include him.

Chrome

Are you… sick?

That was his first thought. But he’s smart. So it puts it together after talking to you.

If you have trouble sleeping at night, he’ll do anything he can to help.

If you sleep fine at night, but just sleep more anyways. He’d be a bit confused, especially if you are from the past. It’s a bit weird to see in a fast paced, grit and grind kind of life style.

He’ll do any work or scavenging or whatever all by himself if you need to catch up on some sleep, he really doesn’t mind! Because, yeah he likes your company, but he values your comfort (and safety, he doesn’t want you to fall asleep in a dangerous situation or to be too tired to think)

Really, he might have one of the least understanding of any of these terms and stuff out of anyone on this list, but he will likely be the sweetest one. He’s a quick learner too, so just tell him about your needs and he’ll respect that and work around that.

If you fell asleep on him, he’d be a blushing mess. Just saying.

He doesn’t have a great understanding of introverted vs extroverted people in terms of like terms and stuff. But he can tell some people are more social and lively, some people are more reserved.

So he doesn’t have a hard time adapting to your life style.

For example, if you want to stay in even though there is a party, he’d likely stay with you. He’s happiest where you are. (He might lightly nudge you towards just dropping by to say hi, especially if it’s a celebration of an accomplishment you both were a part of)

Ryusui Nanami

You’re tired? He’ll ask Francois to prepare you a bed if you don’t have one where they are.

You don’t want to walk? He’s carrying you.

You fall asleep on his shoulder? If anybody wakes you, they owe you 1000 dragos for the inconvenience to you. (He’ll likely wake you up accidentally and try to give you the money he threatened other people to have to give you. Tell him to put the dragos back)

Literally the most excessive man ever. He desires the best for you. (I love this man omg)

He’s not much help for an introvert though.

He’s always doing the most. Literally.

So quiet time usually means time AWAY from him. But don’t get it twisted, he can be quiet for you. If you want him to just spend time with you, but need silence. He can.

He’d be okay with just being in the same space together. He might be building a ship model while you sleep a few feet away. He’ll try to be quiet!

Or if you want a quiet night in, play him at chess. (Sai is shaking in his boots)

Francois

Anything you need is yours.

A drink on your bed side table? It’s yours.

Dating or not, they treat you so well.

If you are dating, they keep professional until nobody is looking. So it’s likely they don’t treat you any differently than everybody else until you’re both away from prying eyes.

You would also be the only one to see Francois rest, and know Francois does in fact run out of stamina. They are no Taiju.

So you’d likely take naps together.

I don’t see them being super physically affectionate, so likely just being within the same space as each other.

They treat you pretty much the same if you’re an extrovert or introvert, but an introvert would likely be preferred for them anyways. Seeing as they likely prefer quiet and peace when they get the chance.

Hyoga Akatsuki

I saved the worst for last :)

Now it depends on when he met you how he treats you, but how he thinks of you remains about the same.

At first, either way, he’d think you’re weak and likely wouldn’t give you time of day.

Now, if you’re strong beyond just being exhausted, now you’re talking.

Or if you’re super intelligent and can use that as strength.

You’d have to have something to make him gain respect for you to even get together.

He doesn’t have much time for your issues, or pity.

He says, at least. But he finds himself doing small things behind your back to make it easier on you.

If you two, for any reason, went out on a scouting or scavenging mission together, he’d stand guard and watch while you sleep. He says he’s stronger so it makes sense, but really he just thinks you should rest.

He’s come to care about you, rather he’ll admit it or not.

He’ll give you a, ever so slightly reluctant, helping hand when you need it.

He’d prefer an introverted s/o, likely, because he doesn’t have any interest in being encouraged to be social and lively.

He’d be the type to just like to be in the same room, at the same time, and that’s bonding.

JUST PUTTING THIS HERE!

IF ANYONE IS wondering where the gif in my header is from, it’s from the Netflix movie Damsel. A new favorite of mine.

•Ok I just saw a fan art of Hyoga from dr.stone as a beastman and now I want a similar plot to this but for Hyoga only.

•And instead of a clouded leopard he’s a leucistic leopard of the African variety, no not in the race swapping sense. And on that note you know Tsukasa would be a lion beastman.

•single dad beastman Hyoga has two young cubs, one is leucistic like beastman Hyoga and able to walk around in his beast form but crawl in his beastman form.

•The other melanistic and has brown fur with black rosettes and able only able to crawl on her belly in her beast form and not able to move around at all in her beastman form since she’s only a few days old.

•They dress the same and have the same ability to shift and have the same physical characteristics like the pouch as Jack (see the below pictures) and the life style is the same as with Jack.

•They live in their cozy den deep in the jungle beneath the roots of a large uprooted tree.

•The den is far from any bodies of water to prevent the den being flooded during the monsoon seasons and hidden by tall grasses and flowers to mask his cubs scents from those who would kill his cubs for food, like anything bigger than the cubs that eats meat, sport like poachers and hunters, or to just eliminate future competition like other jaguars, both beastmen and regular jaguars.

•They get sucked through a portal from their cozy den Into the world of dr.stone.

•Beastman Hyoga quickly finds what he deems to be a safe place to use as a temporary den to hide his cubs in while he goes to survey there new environment and go hunting.

•While beastman Hyoga is away from the den Ginro finds the den and the cubs.

•Being the idiot he is, he grabs the cubs and runs back to senku and the gang to show them strange creatures he found.

•Chaos ensues.

•ROR JACK AND NOAH SINGLE DAD BEASTMAN AU IDEA! IF YOU WANT TO WRITE IT LET ME KNOW! THIS IS CRACK I KNOW BUT MOST IF NOT ALL MY IDEAS ARE!

•Au single dad jaguar beastman Jack and Noah and their tiny daughters fall through a portal in their world from their cozy den deep in the jungle beneath the roots of a large uprooted tree far from any bodies of water to prevent the den being flooded during the monsoon seasons and hidden by tall grasses and flowers to mask their cubs scents from those who would kill their cubs for food like anything bigger than the cubs that eats meat, sport like poachers and hunters, or to just eliminate future competition like other jaguars both beastmen and regular jaguars.

•They fall through the portal right into the arena while the match between Leónides and Apollo is going on in the RoR world.

•Beastman Jack and Noah and their daughters dress similar to this minus the rope around his neck. ⬇️(The guy in the picture is the good guy I promise.)

•Jack has albino fur with faint silver rosettes and his daughter from this mating season has brown fur and black rosettes while the older one from the previous mating season has white fur and more visible silver rosettes since she is leucitic instead of albino.

•Noah has melanistic black as night fur with slightly darker black rosettes and his cub has the common golden fur with black rosettes.

•I headcanon that Jack is at least 5 to 10 years older than Noah after think about it for a while so Jack has sired many offspring and has 10 years worth of experience.

•He has successfully raised almost every single one to adulthood except for the cubs from his first three mating seasons.

•He remembers the mistakes he made in the first three mating season out of the 10 seasons he’s been raising his cubs.

•The first cubs drowned during a monsoon that started while he while he was out hunting because the den he chose was to close to a river that’s water level was low before the monsoon began.

•The second was killed by a predator because they stayed in one den for too long and a predator picked up his cubs scent and killed them while he was away hunting.

•He returned to find his cubs dead and half eaten with the killer long gone, killed for food or to eliminate future competition.

•He tracked the killers scent and killed it so it wouldn’t try to make a meal of any of his cubs in the future.

•The third was killed because the den wasn’t hidden well enough and he was followed when he brought a kill back to the den for his cub.

•The next day when he came back to the den after a hunt he found only blood and the scent of a poacher, his cub was killed for sport by a bullet of some sick poacher who thought it would make a nice mantelpiece.

•Jack tracked them down and killed them the next day, the locals knew of his crime and why he was killed because he’d been bragging about his prize the night before. (Think of the animation Wolfsong on YouTube.)

•His cub from the previous mating season is old enough that she can run around and play, unknowingly practicing hunting through play often sneaking up and pouncing on her father or Noah or playing with their tails the way tiger cubs do but is still young enough to be in her fathers pouch and to nurse, not quite old enough to be weaned off his milk but old enough to be introduced to meat, she doesn’t stay in the pouch quite as much as her newborn younger sister but is still in there a lot like when sleeping or nursing or when she’s not playing and wants to cuddle.

•Meanwhile Noah is new to the game and his newborn cub is his first cub of his first mating season so he goes to Jack for advice when he needs it or leaves his cub with Jack when he needs a break or just needs to go hunting. Jack will also leave his own cubs with Noah when he needs a break or goes hunting.

•They can change between their semi furry form and their all animal form like in the picture and they do have tribal markings on various parts of their body’s but their semi furry form has more fur they have fur everywhere but their face,neck,and center of their chest, and Jack and Noah each have a pouch like a marsupial that they keep their daughters in when they’re not out hunting or fighting.

•Although the walls of the pouch are thick and cushioned enough to keep the cubs safe and uninjured even if they get deep lacerations on the pouch or if they fall on their belly from a great height if they have to fight while the cub is in the pouch.

•Beastman Jack and Noah also have four teets inside their pouchs that produce milk for their cubs, like kangaroos since they gotta feed their mammal babies somehow, and the females just give birth and ditch like some species do.

•Their back/lower legs are a fusion of human legs and jaguar hind legs and their faces look human just no human ears, having jaguar ears on top of their heads, their eyes look a little more cat like, and they have whiskers although Jack still has his mustache along with the whiskers. They have retractable claws and long canine teeth.

•(jaguars have the longest canines and strongest bite and muscles relative to body size of all the big cats meaning the tigers bite and muscles are stronger but if the jaguar was the same size as the tiger there would be no competition the jaguar would win hands down.)

•In both forms they are just as flexible as any cat, especially since when they have no access to clean water or if they need to brush there fur, they clean their fur the same way cats do, gotta be able to clean the places humans can’t reach without a back scrubber, and inside their pouch as well as the cubs when their in or out of the pouch, without assistance since they’re mostly solitary, the also have a tongue like a cat backwards facing bristles and all.

•They can speak the human language but also can comunícate like their animal counterparts in both forms for example roaring, growling, purring, chuffing, crying, calling, hissing, exe.

•In the au beastman Jack and Noah are from the males are the ones to raise there offspring for there whole lives and the females have no part in it they just mate,give birth,and they’re gone like some species of animals.

•Their kind are mostly solitary except for fathers and their offspring or siblings or when it’s mating season, with the exception of Jack and Noah who were raised by their mothers together cuz the fathers ditched before they were born, so their mothers couldn’t pass them over to their fathers right after birth.

•

•RoR people postpone the fight to try and get the familiar beastman out of the arena.

•Jack and Hlokk’s reactions to seeing all this on her tv.

•Apollo being the narcissistic god he is and having zero regard for boundaries, sees jaguar Jacks and Noah’s pouches and being the asshole he is just moves at the speed of light and takes out what’s in their pouches just as fast (aka jaguar Jacks and Noah’s tiny beastman cub daughters).

• The younger cubs starts crying while the older one starts wriggling around trying to scratch and bite apollos arm while growling her baby growl and roaring her baby roar cuz they’re scared and confused at very suddenly not being in the warm safety of their fathers pouches.

•They don’t recognize the scent of the person holding them in his hands in a not so comfortable way and in a way that they can’t see who’s holding them.

•Their voices sound like a fusion of a very young jaguar cub and a human baby.

•Jaguar Jack and Noah growl in warning after they ask Apollo politely to give their cubs back and when Apollo doesnt cuz lesser beings dont give Apollo orders, its followed by loud roars and then chaos ensues cuz jaguar Jack and Noah are not having it.

•Later Jaguar Jack and Noah and their daughters are sent to Hlokk’s room and Jack and Hlokk meet the beastmen and their cubs. Jaguar Jack and Noahs cubs nurse inside their pouches cuz their hungry, and because suckling (either for nursing or like when a human baby sucks on a binky) helps babies calm down.

•After a while jaguar Jacks and Noahs daughters come out of the pouches while their fathers are laying down, the younger ones crawling around on their fuzzy baby bellies while the older one looks to her father first in silent question to see if it’s safe to come out, then crouches low while slowly walking around, sniffing the air, wide eyed and curious but cautious after what happen with Apollo.

•The cubs explore their new surroundings and meet Jack and Hlokk.

•This is a very informative about Jaguars living in the jungle. ⚠️ Be warned though there is brief male genitalia shown once or twice because jungle natives I think so watch with caution.

“What the hell are you wearing?”

“A lab coat.” Senku looked at you incredulously, with one brow raised and his other hand shaking a glass beaker.

“Okay, how the heck did you even get that-“

“Yuzuriha.” Right.

“And why are you wearing it exactly?”

“Because I look good in it and…”

"I've been studying chemistry," You declared, revealing a notebook filled with meticulously recorded observations.

When you hand him the said notebook, you watch his skepticism turn into fascination.

“Kukuku, I’m impressed, it’s right. You wrote down the formulas for everything. Where and when did you get this?”

“See, I actually listened to all of your scientific rants. I thought they were interesting and super helpful, so I wanted to learn.”

Senku blinked, slightly surprised that you had put in the effort to take notes, listen and learn.

“I thought that we could experiment together."

For a moment, he was silent, but then his lips quirk up into a smirk, and he flicked your forehead.

“Alright, what are you waiting for? Come help me then. Show me what you learned.”

“Wait.” Senku was twirled around and handed a lab coat too.

“I got one for you too.” Dumbfounded, Senku didn’t move until you sighed and helped him put it on. Before you went to fix his collar, he came to his senses.

“I can do it myself.” He quickly turned away from you and put it on properly.

"You look good short king."

You had a smug expression on your face.

"Shut up."

You swear he has a little tint of pink on his cheeks, but you decided to not mention it.

“Come on, we got a lot of work to do.” He extended a hand, and you accepted it as if it was the norm.

“I know Einstein.”

The Art of Exploration

“Chrome! Look at what I found!”

“Be careful (Y/N)! Don’t fall down!”

Chrome ran after you as you skipped ahead and jumped into a flowing river.

“(Y/N)!” Chrome was always worried about your safety and well-being, despite the many times where you proved where you were just as strong as him.

“Don’t worry Chrome, it’s not like it’s my first time out with you! Besides, look, I found this cool-looking thing in the water!”

In your hands was an oddly shaped rock, and while the two of you inspected it, neither of you knew what it was. Until you cleaned it a bit more in the river.

A golden exterior shone through its surface.

Almost immediately, you screamed out in excitement.

“Gold! It’s the thing that Senku was looking for right?” Even Chrome was shocked at your luck, before hugging you from behind.

Even though you both were slightly dirty from running away and exploring all day, neither of you minded.

“It’s gold! Amazing! How did you find that so easily?” Chrome was genuinely curious. After all, from his perspective, he simply saw you jump into a river, bend down, and pick up a random rock.

“Um…it’s kind of embarrassing but…” Chrome cocked a head at your hesitation before you blurted out.

“I’VE BEEN LEARNING ABOUT ROCKS!” It was so loud that the world shook around you both.

"because...I want to go with you more when you explore..." Your voice became quieter and quieter, while you fidgetted with your hand.

Chrome watched your face lit up, before you quickly turn around and make a run for it.

“Wait (Y/N)! That’s so cool! Come back!”

Chrome chased you with a giant grin on his face.

He can’t wait to see what you learned, and how, when the two of you go back to his workshop.

Chrome also can’t wait to brag to everyone (especially Senku) how great you are.

The Art of Communication

“Raise.”

“I’ll play with you Genie, call.” The click of chips being pushed to the center. Gen(ie) winked at you.

Genie was nickname for your little boyfriend, why? Well, man can read minds (probably).

The cards are slowly being flipped over as spectators make their own guesses.

“All-in!” Gen pushed up his sunglasses dramatically (as if he was in an anime) and smirked as he turned to you.

“Sorry dear (Y/N), this is my game.”

You stayed silent for a moment, observing Gen from head to toe.

But Gen of course, remains calm, and confident in his hand.

“All-in.”

Gen raises his sunglasses in slight surprise at your bet.

“Dear (Y/N), are you sure?” Gen was slightly worried, after all, you tend to be more on the conservative side when it comes to gambling. He slides his hand over to you, and you put yours on top of his.

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.” You returned his look with a forced smile. Gen whistled, surprised at your sudden bold action.

“Okay, I’m going to flip the last card.” Kohaku flips and the room goes silent.

Then he saw a smirk rose to your lips, and felt your hand intertwin with his.

“You owe me babe.” You hold up his hand while his jaw dropped to the ground.

This was the first you had ever won against him in gambling.

“Finally someone gave Gen a taste of his own medicine.” Ukyo rolled his eyes before snickering.

“Wha-how did you-”

"I thought I'd learn from the best.” You winked and stole his sunglasses, making your beloved stutter even more.

“After all, the mind is the most fascinating puzzle, and yours is the most intriguing of them all." You put on his sunglasses with a smug smirk.

“Damn, that was cringe.” Senku commented, which received a nudge from Yuzuriha.

Gen eventually recovered and chuckled, bringing your hand to his lips.

“Oh dear (Y/N), are you playing mind tricks with me now?”

“Of course not dear~ I still have much to learn~”

(Senku of course, fake gagged behind the scenes, but that never stopped you and Gen from doing anything, has it?)

The Art of Navigation

Under the starlit sky, both you and Ryusui stood on the deck of the Perseus, his eyes scanning the horizon.

It was at times like these where your boyfriend was finally quiet, appreciating the tranquility, and the ambience as you two were on a date. Delicious food and wine made by Francois, while listening to the waves rock against the ship, and the laughter from others inside.

Of course, Ryusui is the one to break that silence when he notices the seas changing.

“My love, a storm is coming.” He suddenly stands up, “Francois, follow me after you clean up.”

“Yes sir.” Francois, elegant and efficient as always, quickly retreated with the food.

“Ay ay Captain.” Your little salute made his loosen up just a little, before he held your hand, and pulled you inside as if he was guiding you in a waltz.

Ambitious, confident, and charismatic, that was your love, Ryusui.

As expected, he took the helm immediately, and an excited grin rose to his face as he looked far into the distance with thunderous clouds.

“Love, can you tell them all to get ready!? We need all hands on deck!”

“On it captain!”

With a laugh, you began warning everyone through the speakers, and chaos followed as everyone scrambled to get on desk.

Surprisingly, Ryusui watched you give commands almost effortlessly and matching his pace.

“Furl the sails!”

“We’re going to change courses!”

“Make sure to hold to the ship!”

“Love, you’re perfect.” Ryusui thanks you while he spins the wheel.

“Drop the anchors!”

Then you turn around and slide beside him.

“Love, let me help you - it’s that way - where we have to go right?”

“A little bit more to the left, but love, I see you’ve been learnING-” The ship’s center of gravity suddenly shifts, causing you to lean on Ryusui as you grab onto the wheel for your deer life.

“I love it! The desire to learn is always so endearing!”

“Oh stop it~ All I did was read some maps and books!”

“Hey Captain! Can you stop flirting and steer the ship properly!?” The others yelled while panicking on deck, and with a laugh, both of you steered the ship to safety.

"One more time?" He proposed, and you agreed, much to the displeasure of your crewmates.

The Art of Archery

Sometimes, the kids are loud.

As such, Ukyo and his companion often found solace in the tranquility of the forest. Sometimes they would take long walks, talk about various topics they would not share in front of children, and enjoy the silence once in a while away from the chaos of someone known as Senku.

But one day, you asked Ukyo to learn archery.

Naturally, Ukyo was elated to teach you, after all, it was a way for you to protect yourself.

It began with Ukyo making a bow for you, then arm guard, and even received gloves from Yuzuriha. He wanted to make sure you had the best of equipment he could get, and that you were safe at all times.

The first few training sessions began with Ukyo standing behind you, guiding you with a calm, mellow voice, and helping you with aim.

But soon, you both practiced archery side by side, the twang of bowstrings harmonizing with the rustling leaves.

"Your aim is getting better," Ukyo praised, a smile gracing his lips as he applauded you.

“Thanks, it all because of your help Ukyo.” You gave him a little hug which he returned.

“I’m proud of you.”

“Can I come and hunt with you now?” For a moment he hesitated, but after seeing your adorable puppy eyes, he caved in within a heartbeat.

“Okay, but safety first ok?”

“Mhmm. I know.”

You gave him a peck on the cheek, before he returned one too.

LIttle did you know, not only were your arrows hitting the bulls-eye, they went through Ukyo’s heart too.

The shift from living in an advanced civilization to the stone age was massive and required a lot of adjusting.

You were fortunate enough to exist in a time where everything you could ever want and need was easily accessible, from all the knowledge in the world at your fingertips to all sorts of items at your disposal. All your basic necessities could be easily met with a short walk to the supermarket.

So when all of that turned upside down, it was a challenge to keep up.

The petrification took a large toll on you when you awoke from your lengthy slumber. You were powerless to save the people you loved and who brought you comfort. Most of your time was spent attempting to accommodate your new living circumstances, physically and mentally.

Anxiety and panic was a constant in the back of your mind with so much unknown about the potential attack on mankind, and you were unable to soothe yourself with the hobbies you once enjoyed. Your physical health also suffered. Your diet had changed drastically, you were forced to take on a lot of labor in order to stay alive.

But throughout it all, Senku made adjusting easier by helping you learn everything you needed to know to help you survive in your new environment. The two of you worked together to hunt, build shelter and tools and fashion clothing. Senku’s determination and upbeatness despite such a traumatic life altering event helped keep you sane. You didn’t need to strain yourself as much when Taiju and Yuzuriha later joined the group either, especially with Taiju’s endless stamina.

When you and Senku split from your friends in order to establish alliances with other potential survivors, you came along a small village that also helped in terms of labor. You befriended and recruited many strong and resourceful people to help the both of you with your mission. Still, you were doing a lot. Your body didn’t have the time to gradually adjust to your new lifestyle.

For a while, you were able to push through. For the sake of your survival, work took priority. But eventually, sometime after Ruri was cured, you couldn’t keep hitting ignore on your exhaustion, and eventually you felt the consequences of this action catch up to you.

It seemed that there was always something to do in Ishigami Village, which was unsurprising considering your circumstances. It was a particularly harsh sunny day, the sun beating down at the villagers who tried, futilely, to rid themselves of the discomfort the sun’s glare brought them.

“Particularly hot out today, huh, Senku?” Gen panted out from beside his scientist friend, the two both sharing uncomfortable looks on their faces.

“It hasn’t been this hot in a while! We should make sure the children and elderly are alright.” Kohaku commented upon overhearing, putting a hand over her eyes to shield the sun’s rays and survey the villagers. Senku mimicked her not far away.

“We won’t get much work done under these conditions. We should probably-” Senku had started, but a thud interrupted his train of thought. Everyone turned toward the sound to find you had collapsed and lied unconscious on the ground.

Immediately your friends were at your side, the strongest villagers, Kohaku and Magma, carrying you into one of the huts in the village. After Senku assessed you, he realized to his horror that you had come down with a strong fever. In the modern world, a cold was nothing to stress over, especially at your age. But with the change in…everything, it was a lot more concerning, especially since Ruri had almost died of pneumonia.

Luckily, the Kingdom of Science’s sulfa drug was successful, but the downside was that it needed time to create again. In the meantime, your friends did everything they could to accommodate your sickness, Senku being at the forefront of it all.

Kohaku delivered spring water like she did in order to help with Ruri’s sickness, and Chrome, along with Suika and other villagers, would collect various supplies Senku advised him of to help with your recovery- food, materials for medical tools and the like. Senku stayed by your side throughout it all, making sure to assess you regularly and work to get the panacea done as soon as possible.

It was uncomfortable enough being sick in the modern world, but with the amount of pain you were in from your fever along with not being able to enjoy your old comforts, the fever took a higher toll on you than expected.

Senku stayed by your side to soothe you the best ways he knew how. He used his knowledge of science to create whatever forms of entertainment he could, and having another person from your time was also a comfort. He did his best to make you laugh and help keep you out of your panicked mindset.

At the peak of your illness, and when your anxiety was at its highest, Senku stayed by your side and watched over you until you fell asleep, sometimes lingering in the house or setting up his own sleeping bag beside. He convinced himself it was for your peace of mind, but deep down, being near you and able to quickly respond to anything alarming also helped put his heart and mind at ease.

“You’ll be okay, Y/N. You’ll recover from this, I’m ten billion percent certain of it. Get your rest.” He’d tell you with all the confidence in the world, and it was hard not to believe him when his words were so firm and full of certainty.

Senku would lean over and tuck you in, insisting that it was important that you kept yourself warm. He helped you drink water when you were too weak to do so yourself, and encouraged you to sleep a lot in between meals.

Your sickness put you out of commission for work for a while before the medicine was finished, and even after taking the medicine, your body still needed to adjust after having been used to more modern ones.

Eventually your fever symptoms slowly started to lessen, and through the hot spring water, food and other things, along with Senku’s assessments of your condition, you were back on your feet feeling reborn. Senku made sure to continue monitoring you from time to time, and told you to come to him if you were ever feeling down again, both physically and mentally (because as much as you wanted to avoid worrying him, his attentive eye and big heart always manage to see through you).

Well, it is a very well known fact that Francois is an excellent cook who loves to share their passion with others. They will make sure you get the most excellent of their pastries, and if you’re not a big fan of sweets, don’t worry – Francois will make sure to prepare some salty snacks for you. And if they hear you talking to anybody about craving any type of food, be sure you'll get it the next day for the adequate meal!

Receiving: acts of service, words of affirmation

Since Francois spends most of their time on cooking, they don’t have that much energy left to complete other chores. Make their bed, sweep the floor and leave a cup with water beside their bed and trust me that it won’t go unnoticed. Also, don’t forget to compliment the food that they make! Say a few nice words about it and tell how pretty Francois looks when they are focused, and watch as your partner turns all flustered and red!

Kinro

Giving: acts of service, quality time

Just look at Kinro and tell me he won’t be doing things you didn’t even ask him for, just to make your life easier. You can’t? Exactly. He will do anything that you have even the slightest problems with and more. Kinro also loves when the two of you can find some time in your busy schedules just to waste by going on a walk or laying in tall grass, talking about everything and nothing.

Kinro is not the best at starting any form of physical affection with his loved one. He’s a bit shy when it comes to this department. But it’s not like he doesn’t like it – in fact, it’s quite the opposite… Holding his hand, surprise hugging him from behind, peppering his face in kisses – it makes the butterflies in his stomach go crazy! Also, find some time to spend with him. Even 5 minutes will make Kinro the happiest man in the whole world!

Ryusui

Oh, he will compliment everything about you. Especially things you’re insecure about. He may call everyone beautiful, but, in his eyes, you definitely take the trophy. Ryusui loves when you spend time with him while he’s working on his projects. He’s a bit clingy, and hates to be apart with the one he loves. So if your work requires you to be in a specific space, he’ll follow you around! He can draw a project of a ship even on a dusty floor if it means he can spend time with you!

Receiving: words of affirmation, quality time

Ryusui loves to be praised. Tell him that he’s done a good job. That he looks handsome. That he’s a good boy! Tell him every positive thought that comes to your mind when you see his snarky smile! Say that he’s the smartest! And spend time with him. That’s obvious after what I’ve written above. If you can complete your work by his side, he’ll insist that you stay with him. Even if you two will only be sitting in silence, doing your own stuff, he loves the aspect of you being around.

Senku

We’ve seen Senku doing things for the people he cares about to make their life better. He’s a person who wants to help everyone by nature. So it’s not a surprise when one day you bitch about a thing in your life that brings you inconvenience, and after a few days Senku gives you an invention that’ll make your problem disappear! He also gives you a bunch of words of affirmation. But don’t even think that they’re compliments. Senku always tells you that he’s only stating facts!

Receiving: words of affirmation, quality time

Just as much as Senku adores the way your face turns red when he tells you compliments facts, his ears change their color red when you do the same to him! He knows that he’s doing a good job. He doesn’t need reassurance. But your words… are just so nice… it makes this nice warm feeling form in his chest! Senku has issues with overworking himself. So he’s always glad when you smack the back of his head, forcing him to take it easy and rest for a bit. Especially if it can be done in a nice company.

Tsukasa

Giving: acts of service, physical touch

It’s really hard not to give everyone acts of service. But just look at this precious boy! He wants the best for his loved ones! Of course he’ll do things you haven’t even asked him for, just so you don’t have to worry about them! He’s also a big fan of your touch. Stroking your face lovingly with his thumb, kissing your forehead before sleep! He always wraps his arm around your waist or holds your hand when you’re in a crowd, so that he’s sure you’re by his side.

Do the same with Tsukasa! Treat him like a babygirl that he truly is! Wrap your arm around his waist, and if you’re strong enough, keep him on your knees when you talk about your days! Call him your pretty boy! Brush his hair and put flowers in it! Make him feel like a prince! He feels stupid because of this, but he loves when you baby him like that! Ofc it’s only for you to see.

who would've expected a simple scouting trip in the treasure island would take such a drastic turn?

if anything, you would've expected your group to run into trouble not the entire ship but now, as you looked at the petrified statues of whom you once called your companians, you realised you were in more danger than you previousely thought.

looking at the scene in-front of you, yet again, you felt that familiar feeling of anger rise up in your body. with the way the village's prime minister would simply discard the statues made you sick; after all, those were once real people.

being too wrapped up in your anger caused you loose your balance on the cliff--the one in which you were hiding behind. the high heels that amaryllis had given you further increased your chances of falling below. however, before you could end up ruining the entire plan due to your loss of balance, senku managed to hold onto your hand and prevent you from toppling all over.

'be careful, y/n!' he whisper-shouted, trying not to grab the attention of any of the island dwellers. no matter how light-weight he may have been, he managed to keep a firm grip on you.

unfortunately, this ended up making quite a ruckus as this action did not go unnoticed by the one of the strongest people from this island--kirisame, was that her name? apparently, the sounds of leaves and the movement of high heels on such unstable surfaces alerted her to your whereabouts.

'what are you doing here?' she began, 'what could a villager be doing here in a place like this?'

you thought this was it. that your cover would be blown and you would be petrified--unable to save anyone.

'we were on a date. i wanted to say good-bye to my lover before the harem selection. isn't that right, my love?' senku spoke with such calmness and with a small smile on his face.

you were surprised by his quick thinking and how calmly he lied in-front of kirisame's face.

the nickname senku called you made you feel uneasy in a positive manner, as if you'd melt right into the floor beneath you. but you had to remind yourself that this was all merely a lie--something senku did to free himself of trouble and unneccessary fighting.

one of his arms reached out and grabbed a hold of your waist; he brought you in for a kiss by bringing his face closer to yours and closing the gap between you two.

as surprised as you were, you had to remind yourself that this was merely a mission and you had to make your relationship with senku seem as believeable as possible so reluctantly, you kissed him back.

senku's grip on your waist tightened and his hand travelled to your hair while your arms were simply resting on his shoulders.

'just go home already-! don't go on a date here ever again!' kirisame shouted as she fled the scene, obviousely disturbed by the public display of affection.

it was only after kirisame's departure did senku finally break apart the kiss. he left you breathless and your face flushed in a deep shade of crimson. how grateful you were for the darkness hiding your flustered state.

'my, my senku! who would've thought you're such a good actor? even had me fooled for a second there,' gen laughed as he and the others removed themselves from hiding.

'yeah whatever, anyways we have work to do,' senku rolled his eyes as he began looking at the ship with telescope once again.

however, no matter how non-chalant he appeared, and no matter how many times he tried to convince himself, you had an effect on him and that was evident with the way his body reacted towards you as he, just like you, was left a blushing mess after that display.

throughout the night, his eyes would occassionally glance over to you, wondering if you'd ever reciprocate his feelings. if not, he'd just protect you from this world in whatever way he can.

he probably thinks Christmas is all about the presents

So on Christmas Day there will probably be trucks full of gifts, all for you! Please there’s no reason for him to have that much money

BUT-

You have to teach him that there are other things to enjoy other than just a pile of presents

The first time he watched a Christmas movie with you and your is DEFINITELY a core memory for him

Your matching pajamas, the way you snuggle into him and sharing the hot chocolate you prepared, the echo of your laugh filling his ears, and at the very end how you kiss him and thank him for spending Christmas with you

He completely melts

He’s so in love, he just wants moments with you like this all the time.

The only Christmases he remembers are just his dad and uncle basically throwing him into a room full of gifts and leaving for a Christmas vacation somewhere

So having genuine time with you and your family and sharing your love with each other makes him so happy he might even tear up a bit my poor baby😭

In the living room you can hear them whispering about something but you don’t know what

The cookies tasted great!

After you both said goodbye to your family and your mom hugged the crap outta him you both headed back home.

“You don’t have to stay, Senku. I’m ok with you going back to the lab. I just wanted to spend time with you…”

And with that he leaves-

You sit in the living room, bummed out that Senku left again

Senku comes back with a small box and a huge blush

“Here…”

You were super shocked when you opened it up

“Senku…this ring, it’s platinum right? You didn’t really…”

“It’s what the old man would’ve wanted. And…it’s what I want too…”

You started to cry

Senku didn’t know what to do

You just held each other and told each other how much you loved one another, excited about the future with each other

Stanley:

Stanley was on a mission during Christmas

So, Xeno invited you and your family to a Christmas party he and his colleagues were hosting

You really didn’t want to go, especially since you wouldn’t know anyone and Stanley wasn’t with you

But Xeno was still your friend so you decided to show up for him

You and your relatives stand there awkwardly in one of the door frames as Xeno and his colleagues talk about whatever project they were working on

You dad and mom go find some of the snacks and your siblings (if you have any) go causing trouble somewhere

There you were by yourself in the corner

“You look lonely over here under the mistletoe Miss. May i accompany you?”

You knew that voice

You look up to see your boyfriend

“Stanley!”

You practically jump on him, wrapping your small arms around his much bigger body

He pets your hair, then lifts your chin

“We’re still under the mistletoe.”

You smile at his cheesy gesture something he doesn’t normally do

You both lean closer together and kiss, desperately clinging to each other like you’re both afraid to let go

“Oh! Is this your boyfriend (y/n)?”

Your lips immediately leave Stanley’s as you see your whole family just staring at you and Stanley under the mistletoe

You face turns red instantly causing Stanley to laugh

He sticks his hand out for your family

“My name is Stanley Snyder. It’s an honor to finally meet you all.”

Tsukasa

You had a gingerbread house competition

Your mother was the judge

You and Mirai were a team

Tsukasa and your dad were the other

Tsukasa was struggling making the designs in the roof

Your dad couldn’t get the gum drops to stick

But you and Mirai had a great time with the gumdrops and candy canes, sprinkling them everywhere!

After your major victory Mirai wanted to play with her dolls

So you and Tsukasa sat on the couch, snuggling up next to each other while your mom kept Mirai entertained

“Do you want kids?”

Your head pops up with the sudden question

He locks his eyes with yours, patiently waiting for your response

A soft smile grows on your face

“Of course I do!”

This leaves Tsukasa heart-struck

He kisses your forehead, his favorite way of showing his love for you

you huff, “we haven’t even started a match! all we’ve done is teach you the stances and-“

you go quiet when you know he isn’t even listening, his body is literally still as a dead body.

with a defeated, glum sigh, you walk away, teasingly walking over him to who knows where.

for certain, he’ll go back to his blueprints and try to please everyone except you.

first he saves ruri, then works night and day to prove how good his intellect is. it’s tiring, being on the side line.

speaking of side lines, you missed doing everything in your power to not have the ball go there.

you missed the thrill of running around, tensing your muscles for the ball’s impact and making up strategies to win

you sigh at the fond memory.

“so,” you jolt at someone’s voice, not having realized you were sitting on a rock and staring into space.

“kohaku,” you say with a gentle smile, not really in the mood to talk to anyone.

“what’s wrong? you seem pretty defeated, did you fight with senku?”

“woman.”

“i miss it.” you say, staring up into the sky. “i ask senku for just a moment…” you frown, “he has his own thing, something he loves. i don’t mind helping him, i know this is the best for humanity but, i just wish i had volleyball as my escape again.”

kohaku frowns, “what’s stopping you?”

you give her a look, “i don’t really have anyone to play with, senku made this ball for me and just gave it to me like he’s trying to get rid of a child.”

“that’s rude.”

she sees you sigh, looking anywhere with a saddened smile. “you know,” she starts, “while everyone appreciates the new things senku is showing and providing us, there’s no harm in learning games. after all, it’s something someone invented, right? something for people to also enjoy?”

you stare at her, surprised at this. “well.. yes-“

“then teach us! there’s lot’s of people in the village that would love a good competition! i’m sure sure of us warriors would be up for it!”

“are you serious?” you asks, heart racing with excitement.

“duh.”

and you stand up, following her back to the village. you see senku once more in his little world, a world you barely fit in.

but that’s okay, you’re looking forward to something more.

“volleyball!” you hear kohaku yell, “i dare you all to learn it and play!”

“hey, don’t force them-“ you try.

“it’s a game!” she grins.

“we have responsibilities, kohaku,” one of the warriors said.

“we could take a break,” another one says, “it’s pretty quiet today. “plus, games bring on challenges, no?” he asks you.

“well, yes. absolutely.” you smile, hoping you could at least round up four people.

“i’m down for a challenge!” another pipes up.

and soon, you got your six people, you and kohaku included. it was enough for you.

they were pretty good at listening and executing the practices and the stances. before long, they were ready to play.

it was so exiting, you’re pretty sure you were smiling the whole time, but your face doesn’t hurt.

what made you feel even better was that everyone else was enjoying it! two rounds later and a crowd started to form, mostly kids and teens but there was cheering and clapping.

you were soaring. and your team won.

“alright! guys! it’s getting dark!” gen says with a clap.

“that was great!” you laughed, drenched in sweat.

“water,” kohaku gasped.

“get your water over here please,” gen yells.

“good game guys! y’all learned fast!” you said as everyone ran towards gen.

“or you’re good at teaching,” senku’s voice came from behind.

you tensed, unsure whether to be petty or forgive him for his lack of attention and affection.

“maybe,” you end up saying. you don’t pay him more mind as you try to walk over to gen.

“here,” senku says, grabbing your arm with one hand and the other shoves water in your face.

“oh,” you take it awkwardly. “thanks.”

he stares at you before furiously wiping his hand on his coat.

you spit out the water you were gulping down. “you’re still disgusted with my sweat!?”

he makes a face, “why wouldn’t i be? you’re so sweaty!”

“senku, no one told you to touch me!”

“well i wanted to!” he pauses, “plus, we’re dating.”

“yet you still hate when i’m sweaty.”

“it’s unhygienic.”

you rolls you eyes. and the two of you are enveloped in a slightly stiff silence.

“it’s been a while since i’ve seen you like that.”

“three thousand seven hundred years.” you say casually as you gulp down the rest of the water.

he stares at you, a look you can’t quite decipher. “yeah.” he scratches his neck, looking away. “i’ve always liked seeing you play.” he pauses, “i hope you had fun.”

you stare at him for a second. then you smile, “i did.”

“sorry i suck at that. i know you’re upset.”

“it’s fine, guess it’s just been so long since i’ve seen you that i really wanted to spend time with you.”

“can’t fault you for that.” he says, sparing you a glance. he almost seems ashamed.

“you hungry?” you ask.

he’s about to shake his head but he remembers he hasn’t eaten all day. instead, worked and every now and then watched you play.

as he watched you eye a food cart, he remembers how the two of you would eat at one after school, especially after your practices.

with a smile, he nods and takes your hand, which you grin at.
