Nythanel is a very open Trans Gay man that is very unabashed in going after what he wants. In the modern times he is very disillusioned with romance. Several very deep and meaningful relationships ending terribly and the fact no one could compare to his best friend, soulmate, and wife Noa. He has just lost interest in romantic attachment. Fun hookups and flings? That's different. He might be undead but his flesh still yearns for the touch of others, a side effect of being Thinblood. Thanks to his responsibilities in the family he gets to get out a little and mingle but it's mostly business and boring people. sometimes he wants to spend some time with someone interesting, masculine, and willing to top him respectfully. If such a person comes into view he might pursue them if his responsibilities don't get in the way but don't expect to be elevated beyond a contact in his phone.

It's time we talked about Sorcha.

@sorchamidnite sprang more or less fully formed out of the V5 rulebook as I was reading through the rules for thinbloods. There was something about the idea of a Gen Z brat princess who'd been groomed for vampirism all her life, and then come out... wrong. Something about the insular and paranoid world of the Hecata and putting a spin on that "accident." Something about the combination of Vitae Dependency, Discipline Affinity and Bondslave that accelerated the codependent, quasi-incestuous nature of sire-childe relationships into high gear.

And I had Alistair, hanging around in my brain as well, and making him a dad crystalised him. Brought him out of the one note, two dimensional expy status he had and humanised him. Here was this fierce, tired old man and here was what made his whole rotten life worth living; this brilliant, irrepressible little gremlin child. I might have some minor daddy issues around abandonment and neglect and these two have really helped with processing that.

I've always tended to ship my RP characters (because I'm a sappy bitch), Sorcha surprised me - she's dated an absolute psychopath, she's wished so hard that she was aromantic so she never had to go through that again, and then she met @cherubim-now-throne and her silly little heart just exploded. What was meant to be a few nights of fun with her friend from the Internet has blossomed into some real OTP shit for both of them: they started to trust each other while they were tormented by visions, high as kites, generally vulnerable, and now they're in a long-distance relationship neither of them expected to happen.

Sorcha is a rich bitch with a drug habit and a daddy with a gun and a certain flexibility in how she works. She's made two fundamental alterations to how her Blood works: a failed diablerie attempt that at least gave her Oblivion that works all the time, and an overclocked alchemical solution to her Bondslave problem that might have made her a bit of an omen.

Sorcha is magic. Every community I've taken Sorcha into has fallen in love with her (for some reason), whether it's "how much for Sorcha to destroy me?" or "we know she's evil but she's SO BABY."

Sorcha is transition goals, unattainable without a time machine and a way to give me a completely different body type - she's all the girls I ever loved and the girl I'd like to have been.

Sorcha has plot armour, because I say so. I'm willing to put a lot of my characters through hell, I frequently play them like they're going to die, but Sorcha is going to live forever.

A Runaway Maverick (technically) Day 1 of Drawtober

This is my Ravnos lad back as a ghoul! Back before he went by Beau, on the right is his ex/sire Theo. lore under the cut :]

Maverick, Ricky, whatever you may want to call him ran away from home in the spring of his senior year of high school, having met Theodore after a college tour, and being absolutely *smitten*! He then spent several years with his new lover, performing, traveling around the west of the US and acting as a bloodbag absolutely living his best life! Eventually he was embraced in a panic when he was drained by accident. Soon after, Theo left, taking much of their earnings and their van. I love both the idea of him ending up a thinblood and the option of him being a full Ravnos kindred so both versions exist in my brain? (this is all written with the 5th edition rules in mind) If full Ravnos, he would spend his days as a traveling musician, settling into feeding off his audience (albeit with several mistakes when he was new,, and abandoned by his sire). In this version, he hopes to try to reconnect with Theo, uncertain what he did wrong, angry but optimistic in a way (when hes not writing sad country break up songs). He understands in a way why Theo did what he did, he would have panicked too in that situation! Maybe it was okay! They can talk it out!

He wishes to make back up with his mother now that he is more successful, but is unsure how to explain his awful teen behavior to her (running away, asking her for money and promising to come home,, then disappearing again), never mind his current situation (being a vampire). In this he would go by Beau, cursed with the secondary clan bane, and well known enough by his lover's old nickname for him to adopt it as a stage-name. For the version of him that's a thinblood, I think hes far more vengeful. He wants to go back to his family, but is still cursed with the clan bane, feels useless to his sire as his blood is no longer desirable, and he is ANGRY. He feels lost and abandoned and had to beg his mother for money. He quickly realizes he could not return to his old life, he can't go back home, not if he wants to actually *live*. I think he would want Theo dead, he's conflicted but he's no longer bloodbound, and would not have nearly as many benefits of kindred life as a fullblooded vampire, he's not interested. He wants his life back.

This is Thoth, the heretical witch. This is the character I made for my first playthrough of Elden Ring. I bought the game last year when it was on sale and it has unlocked something in my brain ever since. Now that the DLC is coming out, I am starting NG+ with Thoth as I 100% the game before June.

Originally, Thoth was a pure Intelligence build but when I realized that all my favorite sorceries (Death and Aberrant) had high faith requirements, I repecced to an equally intelligence and faith focused build.

His right eye is color matched to the bloodshot effect you get from Varre's quest and his left eye is blind with a scar resembling the mausoleum knights eclipse symbol. It also correlates to which hand he holds the respective staff.

Follow him on his journey back to The Lands Between as he explores all there is to offer!

OC-tober Day 7 Personality

Personality; I'm not great at describing stuff like this and I think other posts i've done can give a good feel of his personality. Also I'm at a loss for how to do a write up so I'll do my best to sum him up. Nyth is outwardly very extroverted and seemingly brash. He's used to fighting for what he wants so he has a kind of, taking charge approach that can come off as very self centered. He would prefer to talk things out but he will jump to throw the first punch. He does talk a lot but unless you mean something to him then more than likely what he is saying doesn't mean much. He can be flamboyant and very devil may care at times. Maybe quotes beneath the break? Yeah, quotes beneath the break.
