SYNOPSIS: You’re the youngest of the Cabot family dating Vic Vega/Mr. Blonde and it is certainly interesting!

So right off the bat, your dad and brother are extremely protective of you in every single way possible and in every area of your life. You literally cannot do much for yourself without them fussing so much over the supposed ‘risks’ involved. This had led you to be irate with them, but you know that the intention is good. 

It would be different if you were a boy, but because you’re female, it’s a whole other ballgame. Joe recognizes this more so than even Eddie. He raised you gently but firmly, doting on you constantly. And he teaches your brother manners towards you, that you are a young lady and thus must be treated with high regard. Some of the worst trouble Eddie’s ever gotten into was because he was short, abrasive, or cruel to you. Joe cuts no corners, nobody’s about to hurt his baby girl. 

Say what you want about the Cabot men, but they do know how to properly handle a girl. 

It became more difficult when you grew up, especially in the teenage years when boys began to show you romantic affection. Joe wasn’t against you having a boyfriend, or a girlfriend for that matter, instead he’s wary like a guard dog. He was the more relaxed one, it was Eddie who was the high strung one. Eddie “bitch slap” Cabot ( that’s my nod to @eddiecabotsmile LOL ) would grill, bully, threaten, and at worst, put a bullet in your beau at the slightest provocation and misstep. It’s a bloody affair being his sister. 

However, when you met Vic Vega, everything changed. You both were attracted to each other from the very first encounter, sensing that you two were meant to be a couple. The chemistry was tangible, potent enough that Joe understood what was happening. And he wasn’t unhappy about it, quite the opposite! He loves Blondie like a second son and couldn’t have picked a better man for you to date. Vic’s trustworthy, upstanding, and has you in good hands. It reminds him of his first wife, who is yours and Eddie’s mother, and whom he was just as madly in love with. So, your daddy just lets the relationship bloom on its own. 

Eddie was overjoyed that Vic might be his brother-in-law some time soon, but less thrilled that his baby sister was going to be in a romantic relationship. He just worries for you, what dating or marriage would do to you and your sibling relationship. Deep down he’s anxious about losing you for some inexplicable reason--though he will never admit that to anybody but himself. Whatever he can do to keep you safe seems the best option. Yet, when he sees how happy you are with Vic, something stirs within him that he can only identify as joy. Happiness that you are happy and fulfilled. 

Lots of dates with Vic in which your dad and brother tag along. Be it one of the nightclubs or steakhouses Joe owns or one of Blondie’s biker haunts, you four always manage to have a great time dancing, drinking, and eating to your heart’s content like royalty. 

Joe and Eddie continuing to shower you in gifts, with the addition of Vic’s presents too. Really, you are spoiled by their tokens. Blondie loves nothing more than seeing you in a dress he bought you and your neck dripping with fancy diamonds from his affections. You’re a classy girl, and he figures that a classy girl like you deserves special treatment. 

You are definitely concerned when Eddie and Vic pull jobs with the other Dogs. Things could go sour very quickly. God forbid if something were to befall your brother and boyfriend. Just the thought is enough to make you sick with worry. Luckily you have your daddy to put you at ease. He’s not about to let anything happen to his son and best man/future son-in-law. You know this, which reassures you.

they probably met at a bar or to be more exact. The Third Rail, Edward seems to have an affinity for waiting for people there and Hancock loves alcohol, and every other drug tbh

but their eyes briefly met and Hancock being the guy he is

walked over asap

Edward is pretty short spoken unless working so he didn’t say much

Well Hancock spoke enough for the both of them that night

after that they kept running into each other every once in a while

after a few nods each others way

Hancock finally walks up to Edward again and invites him to once of the parties he was throwing

Edward said he had to make sure he wasn’t needed at work 

but he was almost forced to go by jack, saying he was overworked alot of the time anyway and should go have fun

Edward went to the party

Hancock was happy, but very surprised he actually came

he snickered a bit, seeing how out of place Edward was and decided to go up to him

Edward looks to the beer and then to Hancock and then to the beer again and takes it

neither of them remembered that night but all they know is they woke up in nuka world inside the fizztop grille with various drunk raiders around them... and a brahmin wearing a hat, and some weirdly programmed robots...And some brotherhood of steel soldiers, oh yeah and some guy wearing a red jacket and some cowboy boots who had this cool party trick where he turns into a demon...or was that just a trip they both had

after that they seemed to have a good bond, as the ride home was both exhausting and hilarious to the both of them 

Edward wasn’t even worried about showing up to the Cabot house looking and smelling like he did because Hancock managed to soothe his worries quite fast 

Edward actually felt quite flustered and giddy after a while

something he hadn’t felt in a long time

Hancock too

Hancock being the gentleman he is, walked Edward all the way home 

they stood outside the door and turn to each other

they both chuckle softly and Edward walks into the house

they keep making plans with each other after that

neither of them knew what they were to each other exactly but it was an amazing feeling

Edwards a bit shy when it comes to the oo-y goo-y stuff but Hancock is 100% PDA all day so it was quite embarrassing for Edward at first to hold hands and kiss 

they don;t spoon or anything since Edward sleeps like Dracula and Hancock moves non stop in his sleep

but they always end up holding hands someway or another

Edward is more logical and follows his brain, Hancock is more ludicrous and follows his heart

this actually is good for when they somehow have an argument or are dealing with people 

because they even each other out

Edward always gets Hancock to sing the songs on the radio for him when they dance together in the state house

everyone in good neighbour are very friendly to Edward, he gets the best discounts from Daisy 

Magnolia dedicates songs to him which always makes his ears hot and Hancock laugh heartily

Edward is a morning person but Hancock is the grumpiest person in the world until about 12-3PM

so Edward is the one who usually gets something for breakfast and brews the coffee

Edward doesn’t use chems himself and doesn’t get up Hancock for his use but would prefer if he was safer with them 

he invites Hancock over for dinner with the Cabots

Hancock soothes Edward in their last days telling him he will always have him here to help him through it (if chosen to kill Lorenzo)

they celebrate every holiday together that there is in the commonwealth

Christmas is Edwards favourite

Hancock likes Halloween

Hancock hires people to take care of the Cabot house when Edward is with him in good neighbour so he doesn’t have to worry to much 

when they spend time at the house its mostly spent playing pool and inviting over some friends

which Hancock knows makes Edward happy

in this I feel they’re so different but so the same as they both have a deep sense of loyalty and strength

@basterd-avi is an enabler and wants me to post some of the Vega brothers stuff I’ve worked on.  This is revolving around the idea I have where the brothers sort-of-reconcile in Amsterdam but then Vic gets all murder-y.   Toothpick Bitchslap is an Established Thing in this and even though the primary focus is the brothers, I’d like to mess around with Vic and Eddie’s relationship being put through forced long-distance (womp womp, foreshadowing canon).    But of course, that means that first Vic needs to tell Vincent what’s up between him and Eddie... (also, shameless self-promo, but this snippet and the fic itself draws from a lot of headcanons I already have presented in my only posted >TPBS fic here<)

Vincent rants for a few more seconds, how Vic's such a pain in the ass to figure out. Then... “Wait, whoa.... wait.” There it is. “S'what I've been doing.” “You and the Cabot kid?” “Well, he's not a kid, Vincent;  that'd be pretty fucked up.  But... yeah.” “Holy shit... holy shit.” Vincent repeats this a couple more times.  Vic sighs, lets him get it out of his system. “Holy shit, so that's why you didn't come along with me, isn't it?” “Thought we weren't talkin' about the past.”  And it's not the truth, entirely, because there was a host of reasons why he hadn't gone off with Vincent the night his brother got kicked out. But he wants the subject dropped.  “But yeah. That's why I stayed.”

No writer enjoys seeing the same request they’ve recieved get send to other writers. It’s not fair to anyone and no one enjoys it. Now, if your request hasn’t been accepted then, at least for me, feel free to send it to other writers. But please wait until you know whether its been accepted or not to do that.

One Shots & Blurbs

One shots are usually anything that is 1k or more and blurbs are anything under 1k. When requesting, you can use the prompt list on my master list, but you don’t have to. 

Headcanons

Preferences

Please list the characters you would like in your request. There is a minimum of three characters for preferences, but I have yet to set a maximum. That doesn’t mean you should go crazy about it.

These are only ever don by request, just so you guys know.

How to Request Something:

I know it sounds stupid to have this but it can be hard.

Have the name of the character or characters you want somewhere in the request. I have gotten requests that were just prompts and what do you do with that? 

When more fandoms are added to the list, state the fandom.

Tell me what you are requesting. I need to know what format you would like it in. 

What I am Comfortable Writing:

Male x Male / Female x Female or whatever else

Poly relationships

Age gaps (I have to be comfortable with the gap, though, and it has to be legal)

Abuse (but it will never be romanticized)

I don’t want to sugar coat anything and pretend things don’t happen. Abuse of any form is real and it’s horrible, I know that. Any fics that include abuse will say so in the warnings.

Writing for real people.

What I am Not Comfortable Writing:

Romanticized abuse & self harm

It’s a short list, but if you want to know if I’m comfortable with something that’s not on either of these lists, just ask. It’s better to ask so then everyone becomes informed.

If you have any questions about anything, don’t hesitate to ask and I do have the right to refuse to write something if it makes me uncomfortable or I have no interest in it.
