( i'll prob compile this all into a post at some point actually )

although he has a lot of information on mega evolution in regards to battle , he doesn’t have a lot in the way of contests

pokemon aren’t affected by any external factors like attacks or status conditions when performing , but they’re still expending a good amount of energy with the use of moves

so , as someone that’s very invested in the subject , his research and the bond between pokemon and trainer - this information would be valuable to compare and contrast with his current findings

he doesn’t really know anybody in the contest scene? there’s serena, of course, but she’s also currently undertaking the gym challenge and being one of his pupils it doesn’t feel right to stick this kid with even more work considering she’s a dex holder so mariannes his best bet , even though they're only acquainted at the time they share a mutual acquaintance in serena at least . it's mutually beneficial in a sense , if marianne can't use mega then she's going to be at a disadvantage in the contest circuit ( i hc that contests are similar to ORAS in kalos hehe ) her ' job ' would be to monitor the behavioural changes in her pokemon after rehearsals and performances as well as their general health and wellbeing . there'd be weekly or biweekly ' check ups ' at the lab for more thorough analysis but these ' reports ' are more casual to fit both their schedules also , it's a good excuse to go out for him to go out for coffee considering he's so busy . but they're not dates , don't be silly . . . ( /hj he doesn't intend it to be . . but . . ) anway ! to actually answer your question now ( i'm soso sorry i can talk for aages they live in my head rent free 24/7 ; ) once he proposes this to her at the lab ( it's like on a weekend so nobody's there ) and gives her a list of pokemon that can mega she notices the only one that can is benched because of her accident in the unova circuit reasons and she goes ' umm , i don't really have any on this list at the moment ' and augustine is kind of stumped because this meeting is now way shorter than he expected it to be so he goes ' oh , that's ok . . well let's go out for coffee instead ' ( not those exact words ofc ) because

a.) she's not super familiar with lumiose and having a kind of ' guide ' might be helpful

b.) atp he knows she's a bit of a reserved person and the few times they've met he hasn't seen her with any friends so that's mildly concerning

c.) if they're eventually going to work together he should know her a bit better and

d.) she's piqued his curiosity honestly marianne's very bad at saying no especially on the spot so as nervous as this makes her she agrees , for similar reasons too . this person's offering her an advantage in her career so it'd be rude to say no , wouldn't it ? so they go to soleil ( because taking a shy girl to your best friends cafe on your first outing seems like a really bad idea ) and he offers to pay and she protests and there's that cliche back and forth about who's going to pay that makes the barista a bit ticked off ( people pleasers , the both of them ) and it takes her a bit to open up but he's genuinely enthused when it comes to learning about people . so eventually she does crack a little bit , especially when the topic of coffee comes up . she used to be a barista in castelia and coffee is his passion so that's their jumping off point . after that they both surprise each other with just how similar they are ! they talk about their thoughts on self expression ( he asks about her career ) and just how important it is and their energy just gels . they end up almost gushing to each other about their thoughts and beliefs , which is something she hasn't done in ages since she's been alone for quite a while so it makes her so so happy . he didn't expect this to come out of someone like her and she didn't expect someone primarily invested in research to share her beliefs and ideas . afterwards she feels bad that she's talked primarily about herself but still . . . it feels good and honestly ? that's kind of exactly what he was hoping for and he's pretty happy himself . they both are ig , more than they'd thought they would ! she definitely goes home and screams into a pillow about how embarrasing she was tho ehhehehe

NAUR....this is not how we're starting off....with their lips almost touching because I know damn well Amelia's ass knows that thats lewie atp even if his ass is blind. AND for her ass to be like "you thought I was MC?!?!" GTFOH. look im not giving Lewie a free pass here either you mean to tell me he saw Amelia getting into bed and he cant tell that it wasnt MC?!?! but MC from ACROSS THE ROOM could see that it was both of them.... ughhh why are Roberto and Lewie fighting...now Ozzy has to break them apart and he cant spend time with MC!! So Amelia is gonna take MC away for a chat on the terrace to regurgitate these childhood stories we've already heard before. I wanna know about Prom night!!! and of course theyre still not gonna tell us anything...ugh whatever this is its coming out in challenge atp bc Amelia "cant ever find the time to talk to us about this" I think we couldve done without reliving those childhood memories and she couldve told us about prom then but thats just me.

yayyyy villa chats! I will say I LOVE that they brought this back. Obvi immediately running to Ozzy 💖 "there might be someone else catching her eye. or mine" 😏 (side note: I LOVE the realism they added in of Grace watching MC and Ozzy) OZZY KNOWS ZEPH!!! im glad we finally got that confirmed and this is now, the what 8th mention of Zeph?? atp its not a question of if hes coming in but rather when. *diamond choice* basically Ozzy was his backup dancer and he didnt really hang out with Zeph that much but one night they had a deep chat and he told Ozzy about a girl that he made a mistake and just cut her out. he always regretted not giving her closure...Ozzy thinks this was about MC and that Zeph only had nice things to say about MC. Ozzy wants to be a choreographer but he said that this promoter set him back career wise....ITS HIS BROTHER GUYS. MARSHALL IS THE ONE THAT SET HIM BACK CAREER WISE. Im calling it right now. When MC asks him about it he just says it's a long story. And this was all in the middle of when hes talking about his family and how theyre close. and then proceeds to say he's had sibling drama too...."close doesnt always mean perfect"

ok im gonna run these two super fast bc im sorry guys im just over them and Idc...the whole I dont trust MC convo is such a weird one tbh. and why is Lewie ducking at the question of whether he likes MC or not. He's "apparently" been about her since day one why wouldnt he make it known to the other guy pursuing her??? and Roberto's whole thing about trying to save face in front of the boys booooooo...

Ryan chat *diamond scene* Everybody was talking about MC last night...Ryan pushed Roberto to show mc how he felt (even tho I told his ass I was good on Roberto) Lewie asked Roberto to back off (this doesnt make any sense based on what Lewie said about trying to save face...but ok) Roberto said he wouldnt back off and Ryan asked if we thought it was cool for Lewie to be telling ppl were closed off (eerily feels like Molly and Mitchel from this season of LI) We find out that Lewie has trust issues bc one of the players on his team, their gf was making eyes at Lewie...he ignored it but the teammate still tried to get lewie dropped as captain and did it behind his back. Ryan tells us hes into Amelia.

Amelia chat: she's complaining about none of the boys really being into her.. I still think its bizarre were sitting here having a normal convo when she literally tried to kiss Lewie last night but whatevs... EEK she noticed Ozzy was super flirty with us during our chat. "theres something about how he looks at you" 💖🥹 ok all is forgotten re: last night!! i did tell her Ryan was into her bc idc about that man and hes going home tonight anyway lol.

hi!! I just read 'you've gotta be kitten me' and your recent enha fic (or headcanons) and you're seriously really good. I loved the Jungwon one so much and I really enjoyed how it wasn't super fast paced and you took your time developing their relationship. And I also really loved Jay in your 'his oh moment' fic, you made it seem like I was really there with him and he actually fell in love with me 😭😭 you're the definition of a prodigy, you do better than most writers whi publish full length books. Anyways that's it. Oh and also this is kinda random but do you listen to Wave To Earth? I really love their music and for some reason you seem like the type of person who listens to them. If you don't you should totally check them out when you're free they're really good. You can also write a 'enha as Wave To Earth songs' fic if you want! That's just a suggestion tho. (Sorry it got too long)

EEK YAY!! tbh "youve got to be kitten me" i felt like i was reverting back to my 2020/2021 anime fanfiction days, so many of the events in there are so reminiscent of 2020 anime fandom times.... i actually had a lot of fun with that one, im quite proud of the pacing tho!

truthfully i had some trouble with "his oh moment," jst because my writing style banks on intimacy, which needs a lot of time to build up AND mutual feelings, it was such a short scenario so i had nothing to build up from and i didn't peer into the mind of the reader so i was worried that the intimacy wouldn't be apparent enough... im actually so glad that what i was getting at ACTUALLY came across

i know a few wave to earth songs, definitely only their popular ones like seasons and love... i was actually thinking of writing a fic abt seasons shhhh don't tell anyone *winks* any song recs?

i actually rlly enjoy technical academic writing so i might do one of those enha as ___ either book or song w literary/lyrical analysis.... but i'll keep that idea on the back burner for now

skips in hello hi jil i'd love to talk abt them im so sorryy i've been thinking abt them too much teehee ty soso much for letting me gush abt my loves eek ♡ random bit of lore but ? marianne moves and when she's getting her trainer card changed over at the lab sina mentions they've been studying fairy types and since it's a ' new phenomena ' marianne goes ' what ? ' - she has . . no clue what that is months later when marianne's having catchup w augustine abt data on mega n stuff she mentions she loves flowers and has a flower press handed down from her grandma from galar but hasn't had a chance to go out and do anything yet since she came to kalos - kind of like a side note - and he goes ' oh i'm actually double checking this field work sina and dexio did out on route 4 - bunch of flowers there do you want to come ? ' and she's super shy but says sure , i wanna see what fairy types are anyway i still don't really know ? ( she's not a dex holder so she has like no way of . . . being that knowledgable ? ) they go there and she's like v nervous because he's just going over notes and looking through his tablet or whatever but encourages her to go ( vulnerability ? huge lore theme ) and she starts collecting flowers and opens her press and he's like ' oh so this is what you do ? ' and she's so nervous and is like ' yeah . . v_v ' and he's basically completely forgotten abt what he's there for bc he's just v interested in people anyway and his main focus / passion is mega not typing matchups so starts asking her abt flowers and she's so so happy to talk abt flower language and turns out he knows it too ( he loves lavender it turns out since - although its different in kalos ( ' french ' lavender ) it reminds him of home + he also has fond memories of floaroma back in sinnoh so he really really likes flowers ) and they sit there talking about ' i think a persons favourite flower reveals a lot abt them ' and it's one of their first like , one on one moments thats not at a cafe or at the lab and she has this cute interaction w the flabebe obv bc they ride on flowers ? she's totally smitten w them and he's like ' oh yeah fairy type ! look - it's a bit like you ' ok thank you thank you so sorry this was super long forgive mee . . i should be asleep hehe ; bye bye + niniii ! ( priv or not up to you ! )

ok so Zanthe is the deuteragonist of a story I've got with my other OC Dom, whose ref i RLLY should rework because i wanna work on a small animatic with them KJBFJSDF

(this is him btw hehe)

anyways, Zanthe is an Incubus that, as per my world's lore, awoke with no memories of who he used to be or why he was sent to super mega gay hell. He only knew three things: his name, the fact that he was now a powerful demon, and that he was HOT AS FUCK!!!!!

He mostly spends his time doing whatever and whoever he wants. He's really bad at the whole "stealing human's souls" part of being a creature of the night because he'll just straight up ask for a sex pact with whoever summoned him, much to the annoyance of his boss lmaoooo

Zanthe is very boastful of his abilities as an incubus, and even tho he always focuses on his own pleasure (selfish lover smh) he actually does put his dick where his mouth is (in many ways) and his partners are always left quite satisfied when he's done SDKJFBSKJDFK asides from that, personality wise, hes an asshole LMAOOOO doesnt care for anything that isnt sex or himself, and will act with nonchalance when faced with human's tragedies or love declarations, unless he can use them to his advantage. however, hes not completely heartless, and if someone rlly doesnt wanna lay with him he'll sigh and complain about his time being wasted (not like he does anything importan in the first place smh) but respect their wishes. part of the fun is having his partners sing praises to his name, so doing it with someone who doesnt want to is just plain stupid in his self-centered opinion.

on to the story part of his lore KSBDFKJDSF

Zanthe was "accidentally" summoned by Dom in order to help him get revenge for the death of his sister. I say "accidentally" because Dom was actually trying to summon a powerful demon he could sell his soul to in order to gain the necessary power to hunt down the bastards that killed his sister, but instead got saddled with an glorified dildo KJBDSJFBSJDKF Sadly for Dom, he can't exactly summon anther demon without finishing whatever business he has with the first one (some bullshit rule from hell), and, though he loathes to admit it, Zanthe IS powerful. Enough to be useful.

So Dom decides to make a pact with Zanthe, much to his annoyance and to Zanthe's delight, because as soon as he set sights on the angry twunk he was dying to get his hands on that ass. Too bad Dom refuses to bottom for him LMAO

its ok tho, Zanthe said switch rights, and he has more than a good time whenever Dom takes out the collar and whip KBFJKBSDKJF

Their dynamic is rlly fun for me to work with because we have this big ass demon who looks like he could kill you and CAN kill you but is actually a lazy slut who would rather take part in massive orgies dedicated to inflating his ego, and then theres this angry mass of rage and bitterness who got stuck with this demonic asshole and cant get rid of him because he needs his powers lol

So I have a favour to ask you… um… So, I’ve been thinking tha Prism Stone’s gotten way hotter ever since you showed up. Naru’s been super energetic as the manager, and Ann’s sweets have been flying off the shelves… So, um… like… I, um… Agh!! I can’t bring myself to say it!!

Otoha: Understood, Ito-san!!

Ito: Gah!! Otoha!! Where the hell d’you come from?!

Otoha: Eek! I’m so sorry. It’s just that you two were gone for so long, I was wondering where you’d went.

Ito: Oh, right. Sorry then. …Wait, what did you mean by “understood”???

Otoha: Ehehe. You want to make Prism Stone more exciting like Naru-san and Ann-san have been doing, right? …..Märchen!

Wakana: Meowmeowmeow?! The Kingdom of Design?! That’s amazing! So your sparkly radiance was because you’re a princess! I’m at your disposal from meow on, Your Majesty!!! …As if! You’re pulling my tail! I already knew that Cosmo’s the one who taught mew about Design!

Ann: Wakana! Heel!

the final curtain call

gonna be honest with you guys, i didn't ever think this is a post i would make any time soon. i have made the extremely hard decision to stop posting on this blog due to reasons that i will explain under the cut.

but before that i would just like to quickly say that the decision to close this blog was one that i have been antagonising over since april of this year. i created 0606-hyuck/hellabts way back in june of 2016 when i first got into kpop and i was just a bts stan. that's now five years of running this account and sharing my love for a bunch of dancing boys! without 0606-hyuck/hellabts i would have never meet anahi, @omelys-space @roses-of-the-moon and @coolhootswtlove, people i would not hesitate for a second to call real friends ♡ so of course, this decision is a very emotional one for me, but i feel like deep down this is the right thing to do.

there are two main reasons why i've decided to close 0606-hyuck. the first being that over the years, the blog's interactivity has severely declined. this year i've had the opportunity to meet some really awesome up and coming writers in the nct community, and i am so proud of them and the writing that they're producing. but at the same time it's been very hard to watch how active and fun their blogs seem while mine is as dead as prince phillip LOL (also my followers are dorpping like flies, yikes). this past year i've gotten into the really bad habit of obsessively checking my notifications every hour or so only to be disappointed with what i find. i could feel myself slowly slipping back into this obsessive comparing behaviour that i desperately tried to escape while i was in high school — behaviour which ended up ruining a lot of my relationships. i'm 21 now and i don't need to be putting that kind of pressure on myself anymore.

the second reason i decided to close 0606-hyuck is because i essentially had (and continue to have) a meltdown over my future career LMAO. i am in the unfortunate position where i'm in my last year of university and am only just realising that what i've studied for three years is not what i want to pursue. for me, writing has been a passion of mine for around ten years now, and it's something that i genuinely think will be one of those hobbies that sticks with me for life. it was only recently that i realised writing creatively was something that i want to do seriously, not just as an after school hobby. as much as i absolutely love writing for our neos, i know that if i want to take writing seriously then i need to push myself to do more than fanfics and expand my horizons. hence why i am saying goodbye to this chapter of my writing journey.

it's funny, looking back, because i remember at the start of the year how i was all like "omg 2021 is going to be my year, i am going to start taking 0606-hyuck seriously". i guess i was half right? while 2021 isn't the year for my blog anymore, i still feel like it is the year to start making moves and taking things seriously. i will not stop writing (you can't stop me, mwahahaha) in fact, i have made the decision to try my hand at writing interactive fiction. it's definitely going to be a big step up, learning how to code and juggling all the different variables, but i am excited to put 100% of my focus into this new project. i would be so happy if you wanted to keep up with me over on my new account @lost-kiwi-dev because i can't wait to introduce you to the world of pendosa and the five lovely romance options i've had in my head for so so long!

phew this is getting long. so yeah. that's the announcement and my reasoning behind it. this is definitely not the end for me, just the opening of another chapter. i plan to keep 0606-hyuck as an archive of my works, although i won't be active on here anymore (who knows though, nct dream have such a special place in my heart that i may not be able to stay away from them for long, so i could be back to write some more stuff in the future?).

to my followers (nearly 1200 of you!!) i thank you all so much for everything you've given me — the motivation and drive to continue to pursue my passion. i love you all so much and will miss you heaps!

uh, yes, recently(?) I've seen people use "kin" and "kinnie" for things they relate to.

I think kin is more,,, deeply relating to something. less genuinely believing yourself to be the character and more really really seeing yourself in them? possibly? I dont know how different it is to otherkin.

(otherkins usually feel like they were something in a past life, and long for their original bodies/something they think they should have (wings, claws, etc.). I feel less spiritually connected(?) and more like it's what I should be and I feel disconnected from humanity)

so,, I relate to sans. I relate to him quite a bit and project onto him a lot. though, I dont believe that to be a kin, since there are aspects of him i dont relate to. though it could be, since I dont know much about this.

first of all thank you very much im genuinely really grateful for the the fact that you enjoy them!

ahhhhh that’s a very tough question actually, see i’ve been on here for quite a while now i always used to have this desire (that sounds kinda weird ew pffff) to write. I started with very small things back in the day when this was exclusively a peaky blinders blog. I found that writing little headcanons and things that weren’t as big of a commitment as series or one shots helped me build a bit of courage.

It still took me a looooot of time to actually post something tho, i used to just keep things in the notes on my phone.

I’m very very lucky to have super supportive friends who will actually yell at me when i struggle with things like this. Their support means the world to me but i found that the most important thing is that it makes you happy.

I write mostly for myself, like the latest thing i posted is for a character no one here follows me for, it’s not peaky blinders or tenet, it’s not robert pattinson but i love Will and i knew i wanted to write for him for so long. So i finally said fuck it, and did it. Because it made me happy. I can honestly said i was genuinely excited when i edited the text and added the gif when i was about to post it!

and yeah i know it’s not going to get a lot of attention and of course it still bothers a little part of me but i try not to focus on that. I’m alredy planing another thing with that character because...it makes me happy you know?

god this is so long i’m really sorry. really to summarize id say: start small so you won’t get overwhelmed, and if you love it someone out there will definitely love it too :)))

okay so idk if you watched/are planning on watching falcon and winter soldier but i watched the first episode the other day and they were speaking french (just a few seconds) and I UNDERSTOOD SOME WORDS DLDJDJ and i was so proud of myself. i‘ve only ever learned french with duolingo lol (i only do like 5 mins a day and that‘s why i was so surprised that i understood some of it!!). and yeah apart from latin i feel like italian, german, french and english are all similar in a sense.. i mean obviously they‘re completely different languages but for example there are some grammatical constructions in french that i think i wouldn‘t understand if i only spoke english? so when i translate those things into english you can‘t directly translate them bc you say things differently, but when i translate them into german then it makes more sense to me. idk that‘s something i noticed so i feel like if you already know multiple languages it‘s easier to learn another language compared to if you only know one language and are trying to learn a second one. even if the languages aren‘t similar then i think you get the hang of it easier.

ikd slsjsjs also i don‘t want you to think that i‘m a linguistic genius or anything lmfao, like i‘m only fluent in english and german and i‘m just a wannabe (ew that word) polyglot sksj (yes i had to google polyglot— i do think learning ancient greek would be super cool tho? like imagine studying latin AND ancient greek, whew). and honestly i don‘t think i‘ll ever be fluent in another language bc i don‘t plan on living anywhere other than germany or possibly england and i‘m not dedicated enough to properly learn any other languages esp if i don‘t have anyone to speak the language with. but i still try my best and i just love language/languages as a whole so yeah i‘m happy & just learning as much as i can dkdjh🥰

First of all, I adoooooooore ysijwa (I’m not caught up yet though eek I’m sorry I’ve been so busy but I’m really excited to dive in). Thank you so much for all the time and effort you’ve put into it, that story is both beautiful and (amazingly) long which I know is time consuming and takes a lot out of you. So thank you so much for writing it and posting it (for free!!), it is so appreciated and I love the both of you to bits.

Okay all of that aside, I wanted to ask if you had any advice about writing a series like that. I’ve just started work on a series and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by the task ahead of me. I often struggle with losing motivation and giving up on multi part series, but I love this one and I want to do it justice!

You don’t have to answer this ask I know you are probably super busy and don’t owe me anything. But I do love your work and can’t wait to catch up!

first of all THANK YOU FOR ALL THOSE KIND WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!! and im sorry this response is so late i have been so busy lately andd i hate it but!!!! better late than never!!!!!

okay so for me. i really like planning and plotting before i write anything. and that’s not to say there’s not random scenes i throw in that are unplanned or things that i change, but i find it easier to write out at least the overarching plot so i know what i want to foreshadow and what i want to hint at or where something is leading. you can do this in a google doc (which is what andrea and i use for ysijwa) or a journal!! i use a journal for solo writing stuff.

i also like to do little bios about the characters!! their traits, what they look like, likes and dislikes.....i even made up the astrological charts for the characters in my 42 hours rewrite and matched their personalities to a sign and then plotted their place of birth and time of birth so i could make up a full chart. insane?? maybe!!! but i had fun doing it!!

okay so now these next two are ones that i really struggle with and barely do because i’m a perfectionist but!!! they are good tips!!! and i need to implement them and they could be useful to you too!!!

much like a movie, you can write a book out of chronological order. if you’re struggling with a scene and forcing yourself to push through it so you can get to the scene you really want to write, just skip that scene and write the one you want to write!!! you can fill in the smaller scenes and other details later, and it’ll probably be easier once you don’t have the other scene in your mind!!!

and finally!!! remember that a first draft doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be done. you only do a first draft once. you can go back and edit and add and take out things if you want and it’ll get better!!! but getting the words down first is important. go for quantity over quality, and then add the quality later.
