clary i hate to say it but i DO think being a vampire is pretty different from being a hypochondriac or liking gross mustard sandwiches and might be a lot harder for elaine to wrap her head around.

part of me wonders if she’s so convinced simon’s mom will accept him is because she NEEDS her to. because for better or worse, clary’s not the one who killed him but she is the one who decided for him to become a vampire. you can make an argument either way about how much responsibility she actually holds for any negative repercussions, but i don’t think it’s a reach to assume she’s projecting this belief so hard because otherwise she’d feel Super Guilty

Today marks the 65th anniversary of the recording of this album, “An Hour With The Ramsey Lewis Trio”, April 22nd, 1959, at the Ter-Mar Studio in Chicago.

Not sure whose idea the album title was, since both the recording session and the resulting album are both longer than an hour…

But what sublime music…

The trio was Ramsey on piano, with El Dee Young on bass, and Red Holt on drums.
