Headcannon timeeeeeeeee

First of all,I headcannon that there are watchers,listeners and speakers

I also headcannon that there are 3 types of watchers.The normal watchers,the runaway watchers(same species)and a subset of watchers,the viewers.

As the name suggests,the viewers are us.The viewers (a.k.a everyone who I headcannon as a watchers chat)also appear as eyes.However unlike watchers the eyes are all different.Some are more square some circular,some have lashes some don't that kinda stuff.

There are the mouths(speaker equivalent of viewers)and the ears(listener equivalent of viewers)some mouths are red,some wear lipstick,some don't.Somd ears wear earrings,some dont

okay I’m putting this into the comments so I can represent my horrible little podcast man. C!Quackity ate Schlatt’s heart but Arthur ate a whole guy. And also assorted pieces of other guys. And he had a horrible time with it. They are both cannibalism baddies but Arthur is fundamentally changed because of it. C!Quackity had a bad ex Arthur had a losing-and-finding-humanity-again experience and was pulled back from the brink by the god-thing in his head. Creature!!

#I love alex quackity as much as anyone but Arthur has straight up eaten a guy#yes yes Schlatt’s heart and all but Arthur went after the whole guy. also it was horrible and traumatic#and it started a whole thing of Arthur seemingly becoming less human while the god-thing in his head become more human#so. not to pit two cannibalism baddies against each other. but quackity is a businessman first and arthur has never looked put-together a#single day in his life. that man is a Creature

Arthur lester propaganda (spoilers): he crawled through tunnels and smashed an old woman's head in with a rock. He seems to other people to talk to himself. Often about murder. He whimpers pathetically several times per episode. He ate a dead human's raw corpse and only felt bad about it because it also hurt his friend. He chopped a man's arm off. He's such a deranged little creature.

Malevolent is the story of a dude fighting the instinct to become a creature and (so far) losing. So much so that the eldritch being in his head is going "woah dude, chill out". I think he wins easy

Boatem is a very incompetent but strangely effective superhero group.

Grian is an eldritch magical alien pretending to be a chicken hybrid with no powers besides wings and eggs. His superhero name is poultry man.

Mumbo is a shape shifter killer cyborg that eats souls to turn into things. His superhero name is Mr. Peace Love & Plants and has the highest kill count in Boatem.

Pearl is a moth lady who can control gravitational fields. She frequently changes the gravitational pull of random animals, leaving them permanently upside down. Her hero name is eclipse.

Scar is also an eldritch magical alien of a different variety to Grian that pretends to be a human sorcerer. He was formerly a villain along with his fellow Vex Cub before rebranding and helping to found Boatem. Previously the Jingler and now the Magician.

Impulse is a scientist that gained electric powers through an accident while performing an experiment with team ZIT (no hero or villain affiliation at the time, just three mad scientists) Tango nearly died in the same accident and had to download his brain into a robot. His superhero name is Discharge

Boatem fights mostly against the villain groups the Octagon and the big eye crew. Boatem causes just as many problems and do just as much illegal stuff as their rivals, but all of their members are rich in their secret identities (and Scar somehow ended up mayor of their main city of operations) so they have a widespread propaganda campaign about how heroic they all are.

I love this. I cannot express how much i love this. Not exactly heroes, but not villains either, they're in that little grey spot people seem to either not care about.

But, what about the other hermits? Are they villains as well or are they heroes or vigilantes? do boatem know about their civilian identities as well?

oh boy i definitely love this a lot! it is a definitely a very similar vibe, but my first recomendation would be:

are you into rp shows and want a series with similar vibes that can introduce you to a lot of hermits and wonderful ccs in the myct world? try 3rd life.

3rd life is an amazing bridge between the two shows (not only CR, any other rp heavy show also as they have the same premise) because you get to experience:

grian being grian which is the spiritual son of jester and veth

smajor and solidarity being just two husbands being husbands aka what we would have like to get from the shadowgast epilogue and /better/

bdubs. just... him. have you watched honey heist (1/2) and lost it with the two bros played by liam and taliesin? boy do i have the cc exactly for you.

impulse and tango relationship, even if explored a /lot/ different in 3rd life, reminds me a lot of fjord and molly's relationship in the weird good kind of way.

rendog and his whole rp masterpiece with inthelittlewoods is definitely matt!boss fight energy right there

and scar not only has great maps it has the chaotic and murderous energy of grog on suude.

but members of hermitcraft similarities? oh i have a lot of ideas

do you have the hots for beau and/or yasha? or maybe vex? have at it with false, the woman that makes me think for 3 hours that i could be bi after all

do you love matt's maps but scar's pace is not of your liking (hey, we all have different tastes)? try bdubs, or keralis, or xisuma!

do you like liam's characters (and himself) in any way, shape, or form? etho and doc may be right up your alley.

are your favourite scenes the ones where either VM or M9 plan something and it the plan goes to shit in about 10 seconds? ZIT team baby.

or maybe your favourite episode and character was sprigg, played by darin de paul, because i know that's mine! also similar if you like caduceus clay, nila, or shakäste: consider checking TFC out. i just can't recommend him enough.
