Lorde's "Couldn't wait to turn fifteen, then you blink and its been ten years" hit again just like it hit me when I heard it for the first time. Now I am again, thinking about the pains of growing up and leaving things and people behind.

Meditative Week of Poetry: Ella O’Connor
The couple across the street stop by
to thank me for the origami roses.
He ate a business card during lunch,
she laughs.
Places her hand on his shoulder
steering him back to a home he can no longer find
ten yards away.
I lose my mind for her, too.

"Experiences exist only in you; you are sitting on a gold mine that no one can rob. Whatever that means to you, whatever that statement you were born to make is, I invite you to take a big breath and make it."

Me saying “I love Lordi” and they’re like “omg don’t you mean “Lorde” omg I love Lorde too!!”
And I’m like no, I mean Lordi, I mean Lordi the band, I mean this guy Mr. Lordi who is the lead singer of Lordi

Just wanted to get on here to acknowledge the 10th anniversary of Pure Heroine. I know I’m not on here much anymore but I’m always looking at everyone’s posts and I will always love this community. This album changed our lives in so many ways and I am forever ever ever grateful that it is in our lives. Time really does fly but PH is still as timeless as ever. I’m gonna spend the anniversary listening on vinyl and thinking back to those first few days when I would play it in my iPod back in my childhood bedroom ❤️.
