Today I attened the Endo March @endometriosisaustralia high tea at the Sheraton on the park. Ive been sufforing from endo for over 20years now and to be in a room with over 100 other women suffering too was very overwhelming, but comfirting to know that im not alone.. You assume there is “nothing wrong with her” because she looks “fine to me”....yet you don’t know how much medication and effort it takes for her to try and seen normal. She doesn’t fake being ill, she fakes being okay. Ignorance isn’t bliss for her when she is battling to complete the most simplest of tasks that those judging her can take for granted.
