The Primes are lucky Optimus' Witch s/o isn't friends with Sun Wukong the Monkey King. While OP's s/o can't do much, I'm pretty sure an 5 times immortal incarnation of chaos who wrought sheer havoc to the Heavens can. 13 Primes getting beaten up by a stone monkey.

Now that I think of it... Witches having contracts might protect them from the immense pressure when being in the godly realm. Their divine power acting like a barrier against the other.

Also the sheer awkwardness if one deity claims Optimus as their ward. The madness it shall wrought on the 13 Primes since in a way, OP is a walking loophole in divine affairs.

I think the Monkey King would either be best friends, terrible enemies, or both with Liege Maximo. Same with Amalgamous Prime.

Quintus would love to study how an inanimate stone was brought to life. Solus would be interested in his shape-shifting abilities into weaponry. Megatronus and Prima have differing opinions. The Shadow enjoys the hell-raising antics the Monkey King brings forth, while the Light, although can respect the fighting spirit and prowess, prefers the guy to be far away from him. Onyx and Sun Wukong would have meditation retreats in the most dangerous regions.

Magic-users can form contracts and allegiances with the divine, the unknown, and the powerful, but the issue lies with their patrons and where they settle in the cosmos as well as their own Domains and Traits. Tributes can vary even among similar deities. One war god may demand blood and bone as their tribute, while another settle for victory and/conquest. A few entities are so encompassing that their hierophants can only represent a single trait of their whole. And feuds by the immortals can be a whole other level of cruelty and pettiness.

So since his "disappearance," Prima has been interacting with avatars he reformatted into the equivalent of a Cybertronian Escanor from Seven Deadly Sins. Very powerful and able to channel the Matrix (aka Prima's own power), yet still mortal.

Prima is literally used to only handling beings that have been reconfigured to his own specs to channel the Matrix, so yeah, he didn't even notice a human until the end. Like hello, tiny thing that's definitely not my champion, how did you get here? Wait, brother-mine, come back!!

Megatronus, on the other hand, had given up his physical form to encompass Earth to keep Unicron in check. He's literally now the ocean and the layers of sediment. Megatronus 1.0 is in everyone and everything on Earth (and Cybertron). Much like his siblings and creator, he doesn't need worship to sustain himself. He simply is a force of his own kind. Megatronus has always been tried to life via his twin, Solus, and his very nature. He's aware of the Earth's quirks, but he can only withhold so much or risk breaking the containment.

Okay, Optimus is such a weird case because that's actually true, canon wise. It's said that he's the reincarnation of Thirteen, yet his wandering self was claimed by Alpha Trion and later by Prima. Orion and Optimus carry so much of their teachings, so who's to say they didn't interfere with what Thirteen was supposed to do?

In fanfiction, I often see people pointing out that if only the Escanor siblings grew up together, there wouldn’t be a great conflict between them such as both in the comics and the series. Here is my AU for the series verse about Escanor siblings growing and ruling together as a result of Elyon's kidnapping being prevented (multiple times).

(Important note: Phobos doesn't kill Weira and Zayden; instead, it is Nerissa’s doing)

So, having prevented Elyon's kidnapping attempt by Aliborn and Miriadel after Weira and Zayden’s deaths, Phobos and Cedric would influence her whole world view by simply being there all the way throughout the future queen’s childhood. Despite Phobos initially hating and planning to get rid of his baby sister by any means possible, she would live along with him, saved by Cedric talking sense into the prince in the moment of his weakness right after their parents’ passing. Cedric's reasoning being that the Heart’s death would damage their world and set the vulnerable civilians and nobles against the prince would be enough to allow Elyon to live and grow to be a ruler… along with her brother. Raised with no clear role models aside from her older brother (with Weira and Zayden being hated by both Phobos and Cedric), Elyon would make a manipulative individual constantly passing as her brother’s nicer opposite (which, considering his snappish and sociopathic tendencies, would not be too hard at first) even wearing light colored dresses to his dark colored robes. Despite being favored by nobles and other metamoorians for both being a girl and a pretty naive-looking princess, Elyon would pronounce Phobos as King the day of her coronation as Queen.

In terms of this AU, I see the royal siblings’ dynamic as borderline codependent. After preventing kidnapping attempts, looking like assasination attempts in the times of civil war being caused by Weira’s murder, Phobos would eventually grow attached to his baby sister. Her only family, he would make a possessive kind of older brother, seeing Elyon as this creature he deeply cares about because she belongs to him and him only, a spit to his late mother’s face.

That being said, together the two form an absolute magical powerhouse with Phobos’ ambitions to conquer the universe and Elyon being the Heart of Meridian and, seemingly, a sweetheart, when in reality she is just as ambitious as her brother.

I’m contemplating whether or not Kandrakar’s Veil would be raised AFTER Elyon and Phobos’ coronation and their conquests of other worlds. An idea of Phobos conquering Kandrakar first has its fleur because that would grant him the Heart of Kandrakar and, in turn, not only make him powerful but also give the new King a pretty pair of wings. I like imagining the series Phobos with wings as well as his tattoos of horns, making him a little more… evolved.

Introverted and extremely knowledgeable of magical theory, idealist Phobos would be the strategist while more extroverted Elyon with her enormous magical power would make a tactician and a diplomat if that makes sense.

“You are smarter, my dear brother, but I'm more rational.”

(Btw they would totally use vocatives such as “my dear/sweet/kind (sarcastically) sister” and “my dear/wise/kind (equally sarcastically) brother” for each other)

Also, since Phobos would be the one selecting those allowed to interact with his sister, she would totally have Miranda for an advisor and best (aside from Phobos himself and Cedric) friend. Both cunning and witty, they would cause mayhem; in the castle (before Elyon becoming the queen) and on the battlefield (after).

As a side note, part of Phobos’ heritage to Elyon is being gay. In terms of this AU, Elyon/Miranda is just a tiny bit healthier than Phobos/Cedric.

Aesthetically speaking, a quarrel between the Escanor siblings would look like black and white roses, created by their magic around the two, trying to push down one another.

Oh, and the throne room with two thrones is divided into two sections: all gothic and black and all gothic and white. I'm not sure what their castle looks like yet.

Bonus:

Also

“One has to be able to express their thoughts through words properly and the other is Phobos.”

(Phobos is bad with both words of encouragement and feelings so occasionally, during Elyon’s childhood, he makes flower crowns for her to show that he likes her)

And, lastly, an amazing comforting life hack Elyon learned very early: tell a distressed person to imagine a world clear of all irritating creatures and blinding sunlight and, instead, full of flowers of the best color ever. Black, that is. Also, the flowers have thorns and are dangerous. This is the ultimate xanadu lol

After watching season one for the thousandth time, I decided to bite the bullet and watch SDS season 4 for the first time (after skipping season 3, because no). It was... okay.

Pros I can remember off the top of my head: Meliodas' love for Zeldris (that sibling relationship always gives me smiles), Ban being hilarious at the worst of times, Escanor backstory/death scene, when Meliodas tried to give the Demon King one last chance before defeating him and that moment after when the DG hinted at Chaos coming.

Cons: The fading in and out of scenes. Like what was that all about? They'd fade out and fade right back into the same scene. It was freaking weird. King's "mature" voice. I know I've mentioned that when I watched the second movie earlier this year, but it's like he's a completely different person, which I guess is the point seeing as he's supposed to be the almighty Fairy King. And yet Elaine gets to keep her voice, mannerisms, etc. The fact that Tristan has like the same hair style as that knight from the Roars of Dawn, same hair color too. The intro/outros. Bryce Papenbrook as Meliodas and Zeldris. As Meliodas, at times I would be like "perfect", others I'm like "this is Eren Jaeger", then I'll be thinking "he doesn't follow the same principle as Sean Schemmel by keeping the same tone of voice when you're in certain forms (it was odd hearing his happy go lucky tone while in his assault form), but most of all I don't understand why they decided to also have him voice Zeldris when he sounds way too close to Meliodas. Jason Griffith pulled it off flawlessly with Sonic and Shadow, but Bryce didn't quite manage it.

I've probably forgotten some things, but overall, it was just an okay season. It was nice to finally see certain things animated and condensed. Since this season covers the part of the manga where I felt things were really dragging, it was much easier to consume it this way. I still have no interest in the manga sequel that follows Tristan, but I have caught on that Arthur is a villain, and I wonder if him consuming Cath has anything to do with that. But that's just random speculation.
