Household: Wells

During the previous round, Lillian grew up to a teen, Esther got promoted to judge, and Erika was busy tending the garden for the prime growing season.

Tristan continued being lovey-dovey with his sweetheart Elise and Darius continued being disgusted by them (even though he then wasn't disgusted by kissing Felix).

Manu enjoyed good food and good sleep. He expressed his happiness by affectionately pushing his big head onto his owners' laps and drooling.

This household is MASSIVE in terms of the number of sims, relationships, and special days. I gave up on trying to compromise, so I hope some of you will enjoy all the extra posts.

Spaceverse Faer sketch dump, part 3!

Back again with more recent colored/WiP sketches of Faer related characters. This time we have, in order: Rhys, Esther, and their son Daniel (Danny) when he was younger, then Rhys solo, then some Fomorian/Fae characters with Dimitri, his sister Sasha, their parents Fyodor and Natalia, and Yosha. Then we have a chibi drawing of some of the kiddos, Rosie, Hope, Gwyn, and Bran. After that we have Roksana, the wildfae Sela, Tristan (should be with the Phanos characters, but he happened to be on this page), Galatea (Gal), Eulimene (Mena), Amanita, her daughter Ramona (both newly introduced to take the roles of Aliana and Joan), Aedus, Cynder and her little brother Chase.

Then there's some older sketches that predate the RP, including: Malin, Halldor, Randall (not yet in the RP, but will likely appear as an ally/friend of Josefa's on Apex Prime), Danny (doesn't have his Spaceverse color palette here, this is from a previous story world where he was a human mage with water magic), another Danny sketch from before this RP, and then a very old sketch of Ancia and Arlen that I still love and wanted saved here.

I am me so I must ask about the two Christmas fics (Xmas Fic 2 and Other Other Christmas Fic). Also so intrigued by Mystic Tours Not This (and the what is this because smut obviously)!!!

Hi, Amanda bestie! 😊

I love silly Christmas romcoms (as you know 😂) and I spent the entirety of the month of December almost nothing else, so I get all these stupid ideas I end up never taking forward because at some point I realize they're too dumb to come into existence. 😂

Xmas Fic 2 was Klaus being a hotshot lawyer or something and inheriting a Christmas tree farm (because of course) that comes with a sort of Christmas village (obviously) from his biological father whom he's never really been in touch with. There are a lot of complicated feelings there. But anyway, he first wants nothing to do it, and then he is convinced by Elijah to at the very least take a look at what is there so he can sell it. So he heads over to the farm and that's where he meets Caroline (duh), Ansel's former lawyer ("I'm a good lawyer") and who also has close ties with the farm. She ends up convincing him to sell the place to someone who will be interested in reopening it instead of whoever, because there's a bunch of people whose livelihooods depend on it (Bonnie, Enzo, some other folks), and there are some complications halfway because Elijah sells the place to Tristan de Martel, who's obviously an evil asshole. But anyway, Klaus still very much wants nothing to do with Christmas or farms, but he does want to keep Caroline (also he gets to find out a lot of things about Ansel that Esther kept from him his whole life).

Other Other Christmas fic (lol) is one where Caroline gets invited to spend Christmas with Enzo and his new spouse (I honestly can't remember whether he'd just married Kol or Rebekah, but it was one of the two) at their family's ancestral home somewhere posh in England. But at Enzo's wedding, Caroline had an ~~incident with Klaus and she absolutely does not want to see him again, so Enzo ensures her he won't be there because he's the Grinch, so he doesn't spend the Holidays with his family, going on skiing trips instead. Except there's a snow storm and Klaus' flight gets cancelled and so he is, in fact, there when Caroline arrives, and then stuff happens. Very creative. 😂

The 'Not This' part in Mystic Tours is because I didn't really want to keep that title or that name in the story, but I was totally out of ideas so I kept it there provisionally. It's another AH AU where Caroline runs a mystical/supernatural tour agency in Mystic Falls she inherited from her mom (who started the business with Sheilla Bennett, who not only is a self-proclaimed witch but also a professor who teaches a very popular occult and folklore class at Whitmore). Now her mom's dead and Sheilla has retired and it's Caroline, Enzo and Bonnie working together to keep the business aflotat, but they're struggling. So she gets this chance to participate in some kind of contest which will bring a popular influencer to town to promote her business (I think I got this idea from Lovelight Farm, or something like that. Have you read it? It's really cute!), except she ends up adding a sob story about how the heart of her business if her own love story with her fiancé when she submits her application. She does that because she knows this influencer has a thing for love stories, but the issue is she not only doesn't have a fiancé, she's not even dating anyone. So after a strong reluctance she ends up asking Klaus to be her fake boyfriend for the duration of the contest. They've been unlikely friends forever and Caroline has had a major crush on him, but she's convinced he's not at all interested and way out of her league because he's a hotshot gallery owner in New Orleans who always seems to be surrounded by beautiful women. Loads of Mikaelsons, Kol being a little shit, Carenzo friendship, Damon is a douchebag. Major tags here are fake dating and idiots-to-lovers.

I can't do an ask without answering at least one question for Laurie so here it is. ;p There are many lyrics that remind me of him so... I'll do a mashup! (kind of emo because well, Laurie is emo)

14. How does your OC want to be seen by other characters?

Anh believes that it is essential for her to appear professional. She puts a lot of pressure on herself to be respected for her skills and brain first and foremost. She would prefer people to forget that she is a woman at all. She is very confused by Laurie's manners towards her and doesn't know how to react (other than by scowling...) because he treats her as an equal and as a woman. That fries her circuits.

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

Hugo actually has a pretty low tolerance for pain. Granted, as a vampire, it's quite difficult to hurt him but that would completely throw him off. He believes himself invincible and is not used to physical pain AT ALL, so he's likely to blow things out of proportion like a real drama queen.

Also, if you hurt him, you'd better run because as soon as he gets over it, he's going to fucking crush you.

21. Does your OC have any illnesses or disorders? How do they handle it?

Well, the most spectacular is of course DID in Eloise, and because of her powers, it manifests quite dramatically. Vampires are not doing very well mentally in my story: Tristan has PTSD, Hugo suffers from sociopathic tendencies, Eve had Stockholm syndrome...

Mortals fare no better, mind you: Ash suffers from social anxiety, both Laurie and Romeo have general anxiety and depressive episodes, some characters had cancer (cervical cancer for Esther, stomach cancer for Nathaniel), Anh has primary ovarian insufficiency and bulimia,... the list goes on.

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

I admire Sam because she doesn't let fear dictate her decisions. She doesn't need to hide her weaknesses because she feels confident in her abilities to compensate and in the fact that no one could use them against her. She trusts in her feelings and allow them to guide her.

It's short and tame. Still a goodie.

      

London, 1778

 The doctor came out from a black coach. Coughing his thanks for the footman’s assistance, he proceeded up the stairs to Thistleton Estate alone.

Lord Edmund Thistleton greeted him at once, and Lady Charlotte wanted no time wasted after that. “Please see to her. She’s still in bed!”

“Is she chained down?” asked the doctor suddenly. His words prompted the exchange of surprised glances between the couple.

“Why would we? She’s just a child, not a beast,” stated Lord Thistleton.

“A child can be a beast,” replied the doctor.

Shocked, the family led him inside, up to the attic. Little Esther Thistleton, lovely as a dying morning glory, was indeed in bed, her tangled dark hair spilling over a muslin pillow. Esther began to growl from the bed, then she cried out in pain, baring her teeth as the moon outside her window floated among midnight clouds. 

The doctor took note of this and, in a detached manner, addressed the family. “I’m sorry, the girl is past my help. A case like this, so severe, one might wonder if your daughter may actually change with the upcoming full moon.”

The Thistletons held no belief in werewolves, but they wept and pleaded for reconsideration until the doctor, who despised reducing such fine people to puddles of tears, said slowly, “I do have a colleague in Oxford I could ask. He specializes in natures such as these in children.”

Mr. Thistleton paid the doctor in advance, and Lady Charlotte packed a box of the child’s belongings for the coach.

Once in the coach with the child, the doctor opened a flask of moonshine, and gave solemn Esther a small sachet of sweets to occupy her for the road.

At the end of the journey, Esther looked first at the doctor’s manor, and then up at the coachman, who regarded her with a perplexed countenance.

“Tristan’s my name. You come running for me if anything scares you, Miss. Anything.”

It scared Esther that they were not in Oxford.

The doctor supplied her with another handful of sweets, reassuring the poor girl she would be back home in no time. Then he sent her to bed. But Esther couldn’t sleep, and paced in the guest bedroom. Had the coachman been trying to warn her of something?

She paced and paced until she found more of the doctor’s candy under the bed. Esther could smell it then, the mixture of fear, of uncontrollable impulses. Moonshine. Muscle and sinew began shifting in agony, breaking twisting bending. Her vision darkened and deepened, her nose twitched and enlarged, forming a snarl. Her final coherent thought was a scream, and then the wolf took it away from her. 

The coachman had an uneasy rest that night, and awoke knowing that he needed to see if the child was still with the doctor. His conscience wouldn’t be able to bear it if he was too late.

He took the carriage to the doctor’s manor. This time, he would not turn a blind eye to the doctor’s vices. Just when he was about to go in, Esther Thistleton stepped out: Disheveled, stricken, and bloody. 

“My God,” breathed Tristan, and Esther approached him. 

“He was a bad man, sir. Can you take me home?”

Tristan swallowed, nodded, and Esther got into the carriage with an agility that didn’t easy come to girls of ten. But Tristan was happy enough for her request that he had no wish to taint it with questions. He was thinking of how to explain what the doctor had done to Esther, what he had done to all the children…

Tristan stopped the horses suddenly. He could have sworn he’d heard Esther grunting in pain behind him in the carriage.. 

“Miss Esther?”  He swung himself onto the ground.

“No.” 

“Miss, I suspect you must be treated for injury. The doctor, he -.”

“NO!” Her voice rumbled. Esther’s breathing turned into a series of snarls.

Tristan swallowed, and stared at his reflection in the carriage door. Then he opened it.

I guess I have no choice other than to drag you to enjoy every aspect of the experience. For the sake of good taste. Who is the bigger cuddler: Simply not happening. If one of them is under extreme distress, let's say Elijah is seriously affected over Mikaelson drama, let's say Tristan is stricken over Aurora having a terrible day, they might be surprised finding the other's hand on their shoulder in a not-threatening or poisonous way. Some would even dare to describe such gesture as supportive. Who initiates holding hands more often: It isn't hand holding as much as restricting the other's arm in order to inform with emphasis how recklessly idiotic their latest plan of action is. And once again, they both do it. Who remembers anniversaries: I have to give the point to your Elijah because, as much as he likes to fill those messages with as much sarcasm as humanly possible, he still is one of the people who visits Tristan for his birthday more consistently on this blog. Who is more possessive: Tristan but it comes with the caveat that he just naturally self-appoints himself as the one who understands Elijah in more profundity than anyone else. In doing so, Tristan doesn't mind sharing Elijah at all. As far as he is concerned, all other bonds Elijah may have are not only interesting but amusingly superficial compared to that...Whatever name you have for that chaotic thing they have. Who gets more jealous: Elijah but it comes with the caveat that he will cut off one arm, one leg and several heads from various people before naming it jealousy. Who is more protective: Tristan each time Elijah and his family are in peril: And kindly remember to jump in front of the danger to protect Rebekah. He is joking. More or less. The serious answer is that they tie in protectiveness over the other. If we are talking about extremely little or just extreme, I will leave it to your interpretation. Who is more likely to cheat: The only thing Elijah could do with someone else and Tristan would actually consider cheating would be letting that someone else kill him. He has a significant amount of leeway. Who initiates sexy times the most: The boiling ambiance of vexing tension. Who dislikes PDA the most: Elijah. But most wouldn't guess by the way he keeps visiting Tristan's personal space. Who kills the spider: Uncertain. There are insinuations of blame and accusations on both sides. To this day both of them remain muted on what truly occurred during that dark, stormy night when the spider met its doom. Who asks the the other to marry them: No. I don't see it happening. Who buys the other flowers or gifts: This point, I'm actually going to give it to Tristan. I believe he is a tad more effusive with gifts whenever it pleases him. Who would bring up possibly having kids: They already share a complicated custody over an entire legion of ancient vampires. Who is more nervous to meet the parents: Elijah is more nervous to meet his own parents. Tristan doesn't precisely enjoy Mikael but he would actually take some interest in the possibility to meet Esther. Unlike herself, he is an admirer of her work. Vampirism is the the greatest work of art witchcraft ever produced if you ask him. Who sleeps on the couch when the other is angry: The one who is angry would provide a dramatic exit instead. Farther than any couch. On both cases. Who tries to make up first after arguments: Absolutely no one. Have you gone mad? It is a battle of constant passive-aggressive resentments, wicked quips and threatening looks until the matter is simply forgotten. Who tells the other they love them more often: Ha!

Leonintus is the emperor of the Xuissedora Empire, he spends his time socializing with the rich nobles and often spoilers her daughter with anything, even a big enough blimp that almost classified as a zeppelin. Hates his half-son since he is a hybrid of an elf and a human. His goal in life is to make his own palace a hot air balloon.

She is the other person who can pilot The Destroyer but can’t sit on Anne’s throne.

tvdu is a franchise where if you think about anything for too long it just starts to fall apart. like in tvd s3 alaric gets stabbed and elena has to finish him off so they can be sure he’ll come back to life from the ring bc doppelgängers are supernatural beings. but in early seasons it’s established that vamps can’t compel other supernaturals like witches and werewolves. but they CAN compel elena?? are doppelgängers just less supernatural than others and count as just human? and in the originals when the truth of tatia’s death comes out, elijah says (the memories esther gives him) that he compelled tatia to forget what she say with klaus. but if that’s the story elijah remembered/told (no doubt klaus who was freaking out would ask) why do none of the siblings use compulsion to cover their tracks, keep victims alive, and hide amongst society when on the run from mikael during the lucien/tristan/aurora flashbacks? bc we know later it wasn’t until the elijah/aurora argument that he actually learned compulsion. i can understand if elijah’s memories are all scrambled and it’s just a lot of confusion she doesn’t want to unpack but surely the other siblings would notice and ask questions. also when fin and kol die.. no news coverage or reports of hundreds if not thousands of people turning grey, veiny and dropping dead all over the world? like i can suspend my disbelief for the supernatural but at least make the world building cohesive

**HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN IN NEW YORK/WHY ARE THEY THERE ETC:** elijah has been in new york (this time) for only a fewmonths. he is currently staying in one of the many safehouses he has around the world, this time a penthouse apartment near central park. he's here because he's following rashel jordan, his literal soulmate. if you ask him though he'll say there's new business regarding his family that needs his attention in this city. klaus can handle new orleans, surely.

elijah was born in norway in 977, the second son of mikael and esther. in his youth his family relocated briefly to iceland before continuing on their trek to vinland, a settlement in modern day canada. it's there that the rest of his siblings were born. after the death of his youngest sibling henrik, his mother esther found a way to contact the very first vampire maya dragonslayer. she wanted to make sure her children could never die, but even vampires can die — unless you're an original one. so with her help esther created a new spell that would make a new kind of vampire, making them originals.

after their creation, elijah became the de facto leader of his siblings, despite his older brother finn being around for another hundred years before he was staked for 900. within north america the first place they ended up for a couple years was modern day mystic falls. shortly after they left and went to europe, where they run from their father for hundreds of years. the place they stay the longest is new orleans, though they had to leave in the early 1900s to escape their father yet again.

he returns to mystic falls after learning from his sister rebekah that elena gilbert, a girl in the neighbouring town fell's church, is connected to the spell that will break klaus' hybrid curse. elijah returns to mystic falls to put an end to it, though he fails and klaus' curse is broken. he spends some time daggered before being saved by damon salvatore of all people and returns to his goal of trying to stop his brother after he creates a hybrid army. then his mother returns and there's a lot happening there. finally, klaus learns of someone in new orleans trying to plot against him so elijah follows shortly after.

elijah didn't originally intend on sticking around in new orleans, but after learning about hayley marshall and her baby — klaus' baby — he decides to stay and try to piece his family back together. while in new orleans he meets a vampire hunter that he later learns is an agent from circle daybreak. throughout their encounters they learn, after touching, that they are soulmates and his priorities change instantly: he needs to protect his family but now he has to protect rashel. he goes out of his way to keep her safe, causing his family to ask questions.

rashel being in his life complicates things, but she manages to stay alive through all of it. after they defeat his mother (again) and his aunt dahlia, they're forced to deal with the first three vampires he and his siblings changed. once lucien, tristan, and aurora are dealt with elijah decides to leave new orleans, following rashel to new york city.
