He's got a whole smorgasbord of people who have an interest in the macabre and deadly and horrific, and he has quite a few flavors to look into:

The ones who gush and squee over monsters and sick murderers, so he can test their honesty and real love for that. What do you mean you're scared and want to go home? I thought you said you'd love to get taken into the woods, kicking and screaming while a monster's claws ripped at you. Well, he doesn't have claws and you're in an abandoned warehouse instead of a forest...you weren't full of shit, were you?

The ones who are so ridiculously sympathetic towards those fictional ARG characters. He secretly wants someone to care about him (he knows AfO saved him primarily to fulfill his end goal, after all), so seeing someone so compassionate and tender-hearted that's also into mysterious shit like unsolved disappearances/deaths and disturbing media gives him a little sliver of hope. They can't leave him, and they're so kind that they shouldn't want to either.

Those are just two examples, since the type of person into those things are pretty varied lol. (Also I'm tooootally not into that sort of thing and am projecting myself a ton in these HC, loving the idea of Tomura kidnapping me and having a disturbing documentary movie night while he gropes me or smth 😶)
