They’re a Fangpyre and a disguised Oni (their disguise is bad I know they were never taught how to do it right) They work at the Dairy Dragon

They both hate it too bc whenever there’s a catastrophe bc of the ninja n stuff they still gotta work

I’ll make better references for them later but it’s funny bc I came up with them after seeing the “tweet like you lived in ninjago city ”

I’m very much late on World Snake Day but I gotta post this one. I don’t have much bio on my other Serpentine OCs but more like simple explanations.

So you’ve seen him around here and there on my blog before if you’ve been around long enough.

More info is down below (Pic is based off this)

Here is Nidhogg, a Fangpyre warrior who took up archery during the Serpentine War and he was taught by Belladonna in his teens. (Take note, I made this AU before the timeline had been confirmed and the Serpentine War lasted quite a bit and happened ten years before something we would consider canon. Again, my AU, I’m throwing canon right out the door because the writers can go f—)

Anyways, he was basically taught by Belladonna and in turn he was taught about her more peaceful ideals by her as well. He didn’t understand her beliefs because he was still a Serpentine teen chasing after his people’s approval, but he did know enough when it came time to protect others which would eventually lead him to betray his own tribe in present day, much like Belladonna had during the late stages of the first serpentine war.

He’d also eventually meet Belladonna’s teen son, Vasuki when the Fangpyre met the Hypnobrai which would led to some interesting conversations.

Had the most random question about GIAG pop into my head. While you've made it clear that the different tribes of Serpentine can have children together, is it possible for hybrid children to result? IE a child who looks like a Fangpyre but has the abilities of a Venomari or a child who has the abilities of both a Hypnobrai and Fangpyre due to having been born from such a union?

I haven't gone into it much with Poisinthia, but my headcanon is that the mixed heritage does have an effect. Not a full combination, as the hybrid child would usually lean more to one type of Serpentine or another, but there are some signs in the markings and how they can use their special ability that differentiates them from normal Serpentine.

Take Poisinthia as an example, my OC who I had be the daughter of a Fangpyre and a Venomari.

Poisinthia is a Fangpyre and has the colors of one, but when drawing her I've tried to give her more Venomari-looking markings and head shape (though without the extra eyes) as opposed to the ones of Fangpyres. I've also been head-canoning that her venom works like any other Fanpyres in that it turns things snakey, but her Venomari heritage lets her spit her venom as well as bite with it, and she can spit it farther than any other Fangpyre. No hallucinogenics though.

Thanks for asking. It is something I'd thought of, even if I haven't expanded on it in-story.

Hi Welcome to my brain rot idea instead of sleeping imma tell you about about my idea I have for the Movie Ninjago Serpentine but this post is centered around the Anacondrai

Here’s the thing I’m bad at explaining stuff and will side track on a idea I haven’t fully fleshed out but here we go

Originally my idea for the movie was the basic serpentine leaders being trapped underground in craves they escape try to summon a beast but when I was looking into it I sorta realized somethin…

There is very little serpentine that are confirmed female so then I thought (wouldn’t it be interesting if this world one or a couple of the not really known serpentine leaders that were female)

For example Fangtom was the one I was gonna change, they have a cool design but they didn’t do much in the story that’s rememberable to me same goes to a couple other serpentine leaders

and as a joke to myself I thought of Pythor sense he’s the most well known character but then I thought about it more

It would be relatively easy to just say “yeah their a girl in this now” but my brain thought otherwise and give me the question

“What if Pythor wasn’t the last one standing? What if he lost and got eaten by another Anacondrai that now holds the staff in her hands?”

I thought about it more and more and the idea is now stuck in my head

This Anacondrai character is a work in progress but let me know if you wanna see more design wise

Love how it turned out, Wu projecting his own issues with loved ones getting bit by snakes is a very compelling aspect of any "(character) gets bit by a fangpyre" AU, although it's effects are purely physical, I do imagine him assuming they are mental as well, which, by my Headcanons, at least, isn't possible because mentally, serpentine aren't any different from humans.

Glad you enjoyed it! I’m happy to be doing requests (thank you for sending one in btw!) I feel like it helps keep my productivity up. Hopefully, that remains the case.

The Fangpyre’s powers are some of my favorite, they make for some really interesting fight choreographs in the show that I haven’t seen since… well, season 1 (makes sense, the Serpentine aren’t enemies anymore)

When writing about Fangpyre!Krux, I tried to take into account the idea of the twins being very loyal to each other and didn’t write any possible mental side effects. Though, it did cross my mind. I suppose it’s always possible that Fangpyre venom could have mental effects, after all, the show displays them as having power over inanimate objects, so it does make me wonder what would happen if someone had been under its effects for too long.

Would they come under the control of the Fangpyre that bit them if so? Or would the venom only be strong enough to overtake things that can’t think for themselves?

Originally I was going to post this along with the my other ninjago next gen ref sheets but,,

I finished it recently and got excited to post it and I’ve only got 2 out of 5 other ref sheets ((excluding this one)) done, sooo—

Here we have “name currently undetermined,” I’m leaning towards the names Valentine & Lavender the most, but they all fit too well, So Ima just call her “L.a.v.o” for now.

Since I’m very determined to not post too much plot info on my next gen idea until I finish all the ref sheets for a ‘master post,’ basically,

All I’m gonna say is that 1. She works at a flower shop, 2. Is good with tech, 3. She’s Half Hypnobrai, half Fangpyre, and 4. Is best friends/queerplatonic partners with Hotaru. ((The Amber elemental master))
