Hello. I love your blog so much. Robert Plant is so gorgeous and talented what’s not to love, ya know? I have a friend named Fred who reminds me of Robert a lot. He has long curly hair and he’s in a band too. I tell him that all the time. Anyway, What’s your favorite picture of Robert and why? Thank you for doing what you do. The lords work. 💜

My dear Anon. It makes me so happy to talk about one of my favorite subjects. For me, it’s impossible to boil it down to a single picture. So…I’m gonna share some of my top favorites. I really had to think and ponder about this!!

1.

As I’ve mentioned before, this is the pic that launched my obsession. He looks ethereal. The expression on his face- what’s he looking at? I wonder. His beautiful torso as he turns to look. The grace of his hand. —1971

2.

This pic symbolizes total sensuality and abandon. The way he’s tossing his head back emphasizes his neck. Then there is the musculature of his body… and finally, the arrowhead pendant pointing the way. His virility is unmistakable. —1975

3.

I love this because its an extreme closeup taken in color so you can see his beautiful blue eyes, the glow of his skin and the golden curls framing his face. Oh! And lets not forget the bird shirt and beaded necklace, of course 💕—1972.

4.

What I love about this pic is that it catches him in motion. Wearing the bolero💕 One arm crossing his body and reaching back, hair flying and that duckface. I love the bulge which is trailing down his thigh and if you really look close you can see how his sweat makes a ring around it. (I know, I know- im outta control😁) - 1971
