You were quite upset when you couldn’t buy tickets to Taylor Swift’s Era’s tour. You had your boyfriend, Theodore, wait for the tickets during his work at the ministry whilst you were at home on a day off. However, neither of you managed to get any tickets.

Pansy didn’t get any tickets either, so she planned on throwing an era’s party instead at her family’s summer house. The theme, ofcourse, is to dress as an era.

“I’ve nearly finished my outfit!” You squeal. Theo slides his office chair to peep in your office.

On the tailor’s dummy was a blurple body suit inspired by Taylor’s Midnights Costume. The sparkles brings you so much joy but not as much as Theo’s coupling outfit.

“That looks gorgeous, sweetheart.” He eyes the outfit up and down.

“And you’re going to look fantastic next to me in your chair t-shirt!” You grin at him.

The doorbell rings and you jump in excitement.

“That must be my matching dress shirt and boots!~” You sing as you sprint to the front door.

Meanwhile, Theodore walks to the garage to place something in the boot of the car. He smiles to himself and sends a text to Pansy.

Theo: ‘Make sure to text her that your party changed venue to the one near the stadium so she doesn’t suspect us driving near there.’

Pansy: ‘Duh! I got you dude! I can’t wait for you two to get back from the concert!!!!’

Theo: ‘Thanks. I hope it goes well.’

“Babe! The beads are here we gotta make some more bracelets! Pansy said she’s invited a lot of people!” He hears you shouting from the kitchen.

“I’ll be there in a minute.”

The day of the party is the same day as the concert. Pansy told you she set it up that way since she knew a lot of Swifties that were in the same position as the both of you. You were even more thrilled when she mentioned she managed to book a venue near the stadium so that you can hear Queen Swift herself through the echoes of the speakers of the concert.

You stayed up all night to make bracelets and finish off your body suit. It was all worth it. Theo suggest that you can always nap on the way to the event and that’s what you did. He brought you a pillow and placed your to-go make up bag in the glove compartment so you can touch up beforehand.

When you arrived he gentle wakes you.

“Darling, we’re here. I couldn’t find a parking space near the venue but I luckily found one in the stadium.” He lies but you are still prying your eyes open to realise.

Whilst you applied some make up to correct smudges, Theo goes to the boot of the car and places items in his jacket pocket. He walks to your car door and opens it.

“Ready my sweet?” He offers you a hand that you gladly take. He starts leading you towards one of the entrances of the stadium.

“Where are you going? Isn’t the venue the other way?” You ask, puzzled. Still you allow him to walk you closer and closer to entrance.

“Maybe we can go in and buy some merch before we go to the party?” His hand is firm in yours ensuring you don’t detour back to the opposite direction.

“Babe it doesn’t work like that.”

“Oh well then good thing I have these.” He takes out two V.I.P. lanyards.

You are speechless as he puts one of them on you. When reality hit you, you jump up and hug him.

“I can’t believe you did this for me!” You sniffle.

“Hey hey! Save your tears for Miss Swift.”

Nothing could beat this feeling.

You are standing in front of the stage. Your Theo had bought you both front standing tickets. It is all like a fever dream. You exchange your bracelets with other fans and they appreciate your couples costume so much that some even asked to take photos with you.

And to add even more delight, Theo brought a muggle polaroid camera to capture your experience.

The countdown clock hits 5 seconds and the lights dim.

🎵 It’s been a long time coming 🎵

You, along with thousands of fans scream at the top of your lungs. Theo smiles and captures a photo. Jumping and singing throughout the concert. Slow dancing with Theo during ballads.

Theo swears the twinkle in your eyes is shining brighter than anything on the stage. Even brighter when the first notes of your couple song plays.

🎵 We were both young when I first saw you 🎵

You had met in first year of Hogwarts on the boats leading up to the castle. He saved you from falling off it when you thought you saw a mermaid tail swimming near the surface.

🎵 You were Romeo & you were throwing pebbles 🎵

Literally happened in fourth year. Theo on his broom throwing rocks at your bedroom door during summer holidays when he was missing you. Your family weren’t very happy with the broken window but did find it very sweet. Young love.

🎵 Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone 🎵

You both focus on each other than the crowds and the performance. Bodies swaying together, Theo twirling you, and kisses during music breaks in the song.

🎵 And my daddy said stay away from Juliet 🎵

Flashbacks to when your family disapproved of Theo when his father was sent to Azkaban. But you both fought for your love and here you were now.

🎵This love is difficult but it’s so real 🎵

Your family eventually embraced him when they saw how he protected you throughout the second wizarding war. Not a scar was on you. He made sure of it.

🎵 Is this in my head I don’t know what to think 🎵

Theo kneels down and pulled out a ring and mouthed the words to you.

“Yes yes yes!” You cry out as he places the ring on your finger.

He picks you up and swirls you. You were wrong earlier. This is the best you’ve felt in your life.

Cole Caufield had a thing for his best friend and everyone knew, except him. Whether it was a passing comment from teammates in the locker room or a bump to the shoulder when she walked by, Cole’s friends were anything but subtle. Despite the knowing glances his way, Y/n remained oblivious to her best friend’s teammates. 

The moment Cole realized how he felt, he’d been on the phone with Y/n listening to her ramble on about the differences between movie adaptations of the books she loved and the books themselves. He found himself lost in her voice, smiling at the passion she felt for her stories. Y/n had asked if he was even still listening, laughing about her tangent.

God, that laugh. 

He wanted to hear that laugh forever. It was the best sound he’d ever heard, the way her face lit up on facetime as she laughed at his clear indication that he had no idea what she’d been talking about. He heard what she was saying, he wasn’t not listening, he was just preoccupied. Preoccupied by the freckles on her face, the way being the reason she smiled made his days. He’d come to the conclusion that something must be wrong with him, and he’d called the only person he thought of, Jack Hughes.

The call had gone something along the lines of Cole telling Jack he thought he liked her and Jack saying “duh” and hanging up. The call really didn’t clear anything up for him, if anything it raised more questions about when he’d started feeling this way. The next day at practice his mind wandered and he found himself skating laps to make up for it at the end of practice. He promised his coach and his teammates that it was a one time thing, but thoughts of Y/n clouded his mind when he was on the ice, leading to sloppy line changes and missed passes. His teammates, understandably, began to worry but he maintained that nothing was wrong.

Y/n had noticed something was wrong as well when he’d started pulling away from her, canceling plans last minute and creating half-assed excuses for his absences. She’d called his teammates, his friends, hell even his coach to see what was up with him and no one had any idea. Weeks passed and Y/n began to accept that she’d lost her closest friend. She stopped reaching out, and he never even tried.

By the end of the season, Cole Caufield had the lowest number of goals in his draft year. Without daily phone calls and the promise of seeing Y/n’s smile in the crowd, his game had fallen flat and he was widely considered as the biggest draft bust of the twenty-first century. He didn’t really care about his game, he cared that he’d lost Y/n in an effort to avoid exactly that. He’d thought that pulling away from her would help him manage his feelings, but it just made everything worse. When she’d stopped reaching out, he’d found it impossible to break the silence, opting to late nights out and unhealthy habits. 

During the offseason, Cole found himself spending late nights at clubs, partying until he couldn’t remember his own name. On one of these nights he’d taken his phone out and called Y/n, leaving a message about how much he wanted her and how he couldn’t risk losing her. The message was obscured by his slurred speech and the noise of the club. 

The next morning Cole had woken up with a pounding headache and three missed calls from Y/n. He hadn’t really remembered what he’d said the night before, but he hastily listened to her messages, trying to piece the night before back together.

“Hey Cole, look you really hurt me when you pulled away a few months ago. I really can’t have you calling me shit-faced at three am with promises we both know you won’t keep.”

“Cole, it’s me again, I was kind of rude before, just let me know if you get home safe, yeah?”

“Cole… I loved you. But you really hurt me. I- I just want to know you’re okay, so call me, yeah?”

Cole called Y/n for the first time in months and they talked. They talked for hours about everything Cole had been going through, the way he felt he couldn’t reach out once it’d been a few weeks. Y/n shared what it was like to have radio-silence from someone she loved, how her life had changed, how she’d found someone who truly saw her. The bond that was once there would never really be what it used to, but they were getting closer. Cole really didn’t want to lose her again, and if it meant hiding how he truly felt, well, he’d just have to deal with it. She was everything he’d ever wanted and he’d have to live with stolen glances with hidden meanings.

Hello all! The animal today is a black cat in accordance with Halloween and (more importantly) Midnight's release in less than a week! I think we have an exciting week ahead of us, eh? So I want to know, what is your favorite thing about release week? Mine personally is being surprised by all the little fun things Taylor does during the week! And of course getting new music (duh?) So what is yours?

Animal Anon!!! My favorite thing about release week is the energy the night of the release, and listening to the album for the first time. I like to listen straight through and write down my initial reactions in a notebook. I've been doing this since Lover and it's wild that this is going to be the SIXTH album that I do this for (I did it for the Vault tracks on Fearless TV and Red TV).

Also, two of the people in my department are swifties, so I am excited to chat with them on Friday and talk about our favorite tracks.

I would like to do two list ranking from my more to less favourite @taylorswift albums and other where i rank from the more to less special album to me and why.

My favourite Taylor Swift albums list is:

1- folklore (of course)

2- evermore (duh)

3-red (masterpiece)

4- fearless (country realness)

5-1989 (pop realness)

6-speak now (lyrical masterpiece)

7-midnights (i felt seen)

8-lover (makes me smile)

9-reputation (when I workout)

10-debut (still has some of her best songs)

And now from more to less special album to me :

1-lover: this album come out in probably the best stage of my life, brings me such good memories and daylight would be forever my breath in breath out moment.

2-folklore: even though it was during pandemic i was having still having a good time in my life and also some sad moments but folklore was my scape and my soundtrack of 2020

3-evermore: come out while i was having a relationship and then the breakup, but even that evermore help me to create such good memories and help me to release such good amount of tears.

4- red: this album come out during probably the most difficult time of my life, I cannot explain all that but red was the reason i was happy sometimes thanks to this album I become a fan of Taylor and then with tv come out i create even more and better moments, red would be forever special to me.

5-speak now: thanks to speak now I became a fan of Taylor Swift MUSIC, I remember vividly wanting to buy this album just because i used to LOVE. The cover album even though i didn’t listen any song of the album till mid 2011 then spark fly come out as a single and wow i was blow away I wanted to know every single song of the album.

6- reputation: this album come out during a bittersweet moment of my life, i didn’t know what to do with my life but also I was not sad with it, i was just trying to figure it out everything and reputation was the soundtrack of a year where i was going through many changes.

7-1989: this era has two moods, when it started it was such a blast I remember during August 2014 through may 2015 this era was magnificent, in my life everything was alright (kinda) but then in my life I was starting to having “problems” and then Taylor career there was a lot of drama and i was always in Twitter defending her and everything but then it became too much, I think 1989 was huge for her and that bring a lot of good and bad, I still have really good memories of this era.

8-fearless: i was in my last year of middle school and this album introduce Taylor music to me even though I used to listen only three songs, love story, forever and always and you’re not sorry, i was listening more other artists, but with fearless tv I created more and better memories with this album.

9- midnights: well this just come out not even month ago I still cannot say how special this album is to me, right now I’m focusing on my mental health and since the era started i been struggling with it but midnights has some songs that make me feel seen and I relate to those or makes me think about a past relationship, it may be more special but to know that i need a year or two.

10-debut: I know I know debut always in the bottom but tbh I didn’t knew about the existence of this album till 2008 and i was not a big fan of country like i am right now, debut grow in me and even though I don’t have memories of this era, I’m pretty sure I’ll make the best ones when Taylor releases her version 💕

Committing to Being a Swiftie Part 2: Fearless (TV)

Song: Fearless Would save?: It's been saved Favorite lyrics: & I don't how, it gets better than this Thoughts: I've loved this song for over a decade, when listening outside Era's N3 in my city, when the guitar started I stupidly asked "what song is this" because of the shock and overwhelm, I couldn't believe I was finally listening to it live. I simply replied to my friends answer with "This is MY era!" I still get goosebumps. Song: 15 Would save: Since I was 13 lol Best Lyrics: When all you wanted was to be wanted, wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now Thoughts: This song was on repeat during my freshman year of high school and singing it now at nearly 30 is so cathartic (especially the "I didn't know who I was supposed to be" part) but my intro to this song was the debut with Miley which I also adore and wish was on Spotify Song: Love Story Would save: Also since I was 13 Best lyrics: He knelt to the ground and pulled out a RING Thoughts: Such a classic. I've teared up watching proposals to this during eras, and wish so much I saw Tiktoks about this being the last song on a wedding playlist before my wedding date (But we all scream sang it during birthday karaoke 2 years later, so still a win). I also took my friend to Eras and he had never heard this!! So seeing his pure, unfiltered reaction at the end of the song was everything! Also, who hasn't cried heartbroken on the stairs to this song?

The amount of times I've belted this in a 4 month period in my junior year bedroom is unreal

Thoughts: My pick me ass LOVED this anthem when my crush acquired a girlfriend but I still spent like 8 months heartbroken about it. But no Best Lyrics: "I have an excellent father, his strength is making me stronger" // "I love you for giving me your eyes, for staying back and watching me shine" Thoughts: This is such a wholesome song about dad + daughter relationships ^.^, I feel like people only focus on the relationship anthems she creates, but her other stuff is just as good!

Song: Change Would Save: no Best lyrics: "I believe in whatever you do, and do anything to see it through" // "When the walls they put up to hold us back fell down" Thoughts: I know she didn't embark on anything political until the Lover era, but could be the early working of such, no? (Also, the guitar solo sounds a lot like the break down of the title track)

Song: Untouchable Would save: no, too slow Best lyrics: "I wanna feel you by my side, standing next to me" Thoughts: This song should've been called 'come on', but is generally far too repetitive for my taste

Song: Forever & Always (Piano Version) Would save: no Best lyrics: "one second it was perfect, now you're halfway out the door" Thoughts: I wouldn't save this because I feel like the playful & sassy tone of the song is lost on this acoustic/piano and it changes the vibe altogether

Song: Superstar Would save: no Best Lyrics: I'm invisible and everyone knows who you are (could this be more untrue, they're both A-listers)

You can't help but scream these lyrics with infatuation Song: You All Over Me Would save: no Best lyrics: I learned and found out what it was to turn around and see that we were never really meant to be"

Song: Mr Perfectly Fine Would save: I saved it upon the (TV) release Best lyrics: "It's wonderful to see that it never phased you" Thoughts: I was really hoping the media wasn't going to obliterate Joe Jonas upon the release of this song, but thankfully that didn't happen 14 years after the fact, once he was a husband and father...ofc in 2023, he obliterated his own reputation but that's a different story

Song: We were happy Would save: no Best lyrics: "I hate those voices telling me I'm not in love anymore, they don't give me choices" Thoughts: Seems like a part two to Mary's song, I was waiting for 'the other shoe to drop' of her realizing her ambitions -- maybe a nod to 15?

generally taylor you have to be mentally stable but it's not really starbucks white girl? it's self respect and blind optimism with a bit of pg innocence. anyways i'm listening to miss americana literally right now so lover is uh obviously when you are in love. rep is also for when you're happy but like ur bored. folklore and evermore are winter seasonal depression. like OMFG they are SO seasonal depression. my mind turns your life into folklore. midnights is like for never because it's kind of a bad album but it's still 4 on my ranking lmfao anyways i don't think there's ever a good time to listen to midnights cuz if you're in a city just listen to 1989 at that point. debut works when youre in pain because it's so bad it brings me out of my reality. i'm dead serious. speak now is for every single mentally stable day of my life i love that album. red will be the same thing when i'm older, red is just a more mature version of speak now :) fearless is for summer sun days, it's SUCH a sunny album.

this summer i listened to speaknow tv and fearless a lot, i mean obviously cuz speak now came out but i think it fits the summer vibe with its innocence.

i like what i said before, 1d is a girl's view of a boy. anyways 1d's not totally my thing cuz i enjoy songs about pain and misery, but regardless my favorite album from them is made in the am sorry zayn. however i do think all 1d albums are summer albums because they're so overly pop, four may be spring nights but with the 5 set u honestly can get a full day cycle in summer. i'd alternate take me home & up all night during the day, made in the am evening, midnight memories dusk and four at night with night changes and fools gold.

This is my first ask from you so I kinda don't know how to act 😊 also i love cats and black cats are soo cute!

My favourite thing about release week is probably how excited everyone gets. Like we only know the names of the songs and nothing else so there's this mystery of how the album will sound like. If it is more like Folklore/Evermore or more like Lover. I do like the fact that we haven't had a lead single. The anticipation is real for this one. With Red TV and Fearless TV we knew what we were getting (besides the vault songs ofc), but this is an entirely new album so we know nothing. And song names tell us basically nothing. Vigilante shit as a song name sounds like it could be similar to I did something bad, but what if it's the saddest song ever? We don't know. And that's exciting!

I took friday and saturday off of work so I can properly listen to the album in peace. It will come out here at 6 am so it's going to be an early morning for me but I'll be making myself tea before i listen to it.

I'm also looking forward to seeing Taylor on talk shows again and hearing her describe the meaning behind the songs.

I'm really excited to hear it though. I know i will like it cause it's Taylor. And I'm also hoping she announces a tour soon.

stiles stilinski: probably the biggest one on this list. this boy goes HARD CORE. he’s got a jake gyllenhaal hate account out there somewhere. and he FUCKS IT UP to no body, no crime (and so does his dad, let’s be real). evermore in general is his favorite, though you’d have to put a gun to his head to pick seconds.

scott mccall: absolutely. stiles will absolutely deny it, but scott is the one who first played him her music back when they were in lower school. he loves the classics like red, but has a sweet spot for folklore too.

lydia martin: you know she is. everything about her screams it. her favorite is speak now, but i can’t explain why. it just… is.

allison argent: of course. and right off the bat her favorites are fearless and reputation because duh. the archer is an ode to her, and she knows it, and rubs it in lydia’s face. (and of course no body, no crime. shameless plug for lauren’s story which can be found on her account)

Like you said in one of your posts, blondie released Fearless TV a week after the vault unscrambling thing. And we get the Red TV unscrambler now???? Somethings not adding up…what if she’s planning a two part album. First one is the original one that we just unscrambled. That one releases on the 13th of this month AND THEN PART 2 IS RELEASED IN NOVEMBER!!! Blondie said she wrote over 30 songs that didn’t make the album, maybe those songs are in Red 2.0. Idk I’m probably clowning but COULD YOU IMAGINE

I don’t think Red (Taylor’s Version) will be in two parts. But August 13 for a single release is very plausible because it’s the 13th (duh) and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together was originally released August 13, 2012 so it seems odd if she doesn’t do anything next Friday.
