idk if many of my followers are "final space" fans, but i have to speak my truth.

for a long time, "final space" was my 'thing' with my sister. we watched and rewatched it any time we hung out.

that being said, my sister hated KVN. from what i've seen, most of the fandom also finds KVN incredibly annoying.

truth be told, i love KVN.

as someone who's on the spectrum, he's super relatable:

he's sweet and well-meaning, but he inevitably misreads the room or screws up the plan. his body language is involuntarily too docile or too aggressive at all times. he's accidentally offensive. he doesn't work well with sarcasm, etc. he doesn't understand when people are bullying him or being mean to him.

i relate to KVN more than any other character in "final space," and he genuinely means well and cares about his friends.

i will defend KVN to the grave lolol.

Final Space

I finished watching the series a month or so ago, but I wanted to join my voice in praise of Final Space. I based this on a poster for the original Star Wars

Sadly, once again I discover a great new show only after it has been cancelled and given a cliffhanger ending (I seem to have a penchant for that).

I love this show! I has not one, not two, but three! of my favorite things to see in stories:

1. A guy become a better person through the pursuit/influence of the woman that he loves

2. Guys being best friends and supporting each other

3. Good dads! And this show has it so nice they did it twice!

Bonus points for the found family trope and for David Tennant, too!

Final Space is fantastic and I hope that whichever corporate stooge chose to cancel it suffers lifelong regret for that heinous decision.
