Ballet au

I'm sorry, but even if Julieta was sad her mother didn't share her ballet with her and thought she was playing favorites, there is not a chance in hell Julieta would intentionally miss her daughter's shows. She is a supportive mother and it's not Mirabel's fault Alma didn't share ballet with her, she would be proud of Mirabel and glad her and Alma are bonding after Mirabel didn't receive her gift. Whatever feelings she has would be pushed down for Mirabel's sake, she would support Mirabel regardless because she sees how happy dance makes her. You are not doing Julieta dirty like that.

Julieta attends every performance without fail, she is so vigilant in her attendance that if she ever didn't show up people would start panicking, she brings snacks for Mirabel because she knows dancing is hard and God forbid her baby gets injured, Julieta has crazy good aim because at the end of every performance, she throws the biggest bouquet of flowers directly at Mirabel (when Mirabel gets sad Isabella wasn't there she says Isabella made them for her), she beats herself up whenever she feels jealous of Mirabel and Alma's relationship because she still remembers how devastated Mirabel was when she didn't get a gift and how happy she is now, whenever Mirabel gets insecure about not having a gift she will insist that dancing is her gift "because you dance so beautifully that is must be magic!", both Julieta and Luisa are head of the Prima Ballerina Mirabel Fanclub, everyone in the village gets some of Julieta's food in advance before a performance because they all know Julieta won't be at her stand, Julieta has a season ticket to the ballet theater and she always sits in the same seat on the front row so Mirabel always knows where to look to find her mother's face in the crowd. Julieta is a good mom that will absolutely put her daughter before her own feelings and I will die on this hill. I know you guys like your angst but this is where I draw the line

But like. So true. I want some of that Julieta and Mirabel fluff NEOW⁉️ gotta love a supportive mom after all. Jealously gotta step aside 🤧 Her having good aim and being to, without fail, throw a bouquet to Mirabel directly (whereas everyone else just throws it on the stage), is just. So rad. Luisa def tried to do the same thing, but it was like an air all, it went completely over Mirabel’s head. Mirabel still went and picked it up because. Duh, it’s Luisa.

And as for the food. Def hammered down and insisted Mirabel ate before and after every practice. She heard that, if pushed too far, ballet dancers feet can actually start bleeding if they go too far. Which Mirabel never does, Alma taught her to stop if she was ever in any pain. But even with her mother’s reassurance, Julieta still insists, she is NOT taking any risks 😭

I was sat listening to a song when I got an encanto idea.

Circus au! They would have jobs but most would have jobs that entertained the crowd(bruno worked the lights and prepared the shows since hes nervous but he gets alot of credit but one day he stopped working and dissappeared) but mirabel didnt have a skill in any act so she was the person who gave snacks to the crowd.

Luisa-strong man/woman act (since its called strong man but she's a girl and I don't wanna grt hate comments)

Mirabel-snack giver

Antonio- animal trainer

I spent around ten minutes deciding the positions for everyone.

The storyline

They were attacked by conquisdadors but the triplets were ten inside of a few months, Alma got the idea from a poster on a passing wagon and saved money to buy a small circus and the tent was magic and instead of a candle its the ringmasters staff wich had engravings on it instead, the bussines grew quickly and they travel around the globe to perform, pepa met felix after the show and they bonded, alma took him on in the show and julieta met Agustín as he tried to steal some food,in this au agustín had been separated from his parents and managed to survive, alma was fond of his kindness.

The circus lost some popularity after bruno went missing and the shows got to boring and someone sabotaged them. Mirabel caught them and told but they left before alma could see so people said she was sabotaging the show. Mirabel found bruno in one of the abandoned wagons with rats.

Instead of casita falling during the argument, mirabel and alma fought and one of Antonio's animals knocked over a gas lamp and it burned the tent down, mirabel went to save the staff wich held the magic replacing the candle. The beams fell around her and the tent( they still call it casita) used the seats and some equipment to protect her. Mirabel ran to a forest and alma met her and she explained the story, bruno said the same stuff and still used a horse, mirabel took them back and they rebuilt the tent with the local town they were In at the time. It became magic again and they settles down in the town and their shows attracted many people and brought in lots of money to the small town and they built the family a house wich was magic aswell.
