Decided to evaluate a little more on culinary arts in the monster world.

They eat meat, yes, but most of this meat is actually seafood. And when they do eat animals on land, there's a likely chance it'll be a bird-critter (like turkeys or the monster world equivalent of chickens). Lamb and pork also exist, but it's quite pricey and saved for higher class monsters (nobles, etc). But regardless, monsters love seafood. They also eat a great deal of vegetables and fruits. Basically, they're pesketarian.

Ans like I mentioned before, there are certain dishes unique to each island, due to their ecosystem. For example, you aren't going to find turkeys on cold island, but rather rabbits, maybe "deer" (there's a monster world variant of deer, and they're quite pricey.) There's lots of foods they share tho, particularly sweets.

Theres no doubt that monsters have a special place for sweet treats in their appetites, and make spectacles out of them sometimes. There are plenty of culinary competitions year round on the islands, the biggest ones being the Bake-a-thon on Plant island and the Great Monster Cook-off on Earth Island. Like humans, monsters enjoy sweets once in a while, because good things are kept in moderation :)

Some of the seafood they eat include different kinds of fish and crustaceans (like shrimp/krill and crab), as well as squid and octopus. On cold island, the Goliath Blue-Striped Fish and Giant Blubfish (similar to a seal/whale) are used for heat lamps with the oil the Goliath Fish produces, and outdoor coats in which the fats of the Blubfish are weaved in with cloth to keep warmth in 5 times as effectively as a regular coat (useful for when the temperature drops to 40-60 below). Not necessarily diet-relsted but still useful :)
