The GabeNath Events Mod Team is in the planning stages for our next event. To make this event a success and to further develop our team, we will be opening applications for our junior mod team!

We are looking for applicants with an interest in any of the following responsibilities:

Innovating new ideas to streamline and improve our process

Organizing challenge documents and schedules

Moderating the Discord server

Helping participants with questions and concerns

Boosting morale

Advertising and improving our online presence

Assisting with graphic design

Contributing to Tumblr posts and checking the askbox

Managing the claims process

Planning future challenges and events

We do not expect any one person to do these single-handedly. If you can meaningly contribute to a couple of these tasks, we would love to hear from you!

Ideally, candidates will have some of these traits:

Professional and positive

A team player

Well-organized

Creative

Some experience with managing social media

In addition, we are also looking for mods who do not have interest in participating in the challenges themselves. If you love the GabeNath fandom but are not a writer or artist, and you are looking for other ways to be active, please don’t take yourself out of the running! This is especially helpful for claims, which is an anonymous process. We always need more administrative-focused mods.

Please keep in mind that we don’t expect expertise in every single area. If you feel that you add something to the team, even with little experience, we’d love to hear from you.

If you are interested in applying, please do so as soon as possible. We will start a casual “interview” process as soon as we start receiving applications. Depending on the amount of applications, we may not be able to respond to every individual, but we thank you in advance for your interest in being a part of our team!

There’s a single lock of hair falling on his forehead, and he pushes it back with haste as soon as he’s done talking, evidently only just noticing it. It’s the most Nathalie’s ever seen him fraying at the seams; she’s only a bit too fascinated by the light catching on the chestnut strands and reflecting back silver.

He’s focused on her now, greyish-blue eyes intent on catching any breath of a thought. Nathalie learned how to hide those from him a while back, though. She lets him linger in the silence a bit more just because she can.

“Well?”

“I’m waiting for you to continue.”

His eyebrows furrow, and he lowers his eyes to his coffee, starts stirring it again. Gently. “There will be no coming back after you know everything.”

“Yes, you already explained that to me.”

“This is serious, Nathalie.” 

I trust you, but I don’t know why, he doesn’t add. He never does.

“I understood that part as well.” She’s starting to get annoyed.

He looks up at her in frustration, but it’s weak. He abandons stirring his cup and leans forward on the table, darting a glance around the coffee shop. 

Nathalie leans in as well. She can see flecks of white in his irises, his nose flaring. It’s too close. It’s not close enough.

“Come to our house at eight-thirty tonight. Emilie and I will explain everything.”

There are a thousand eyes on her, so she smiles, ignoring the ice block at the centre of her chest. “Okay.”

As you may know, I've been away from the Miraculous fandom for a while, now, and I hadn't drawn anything Gabenath all the way since 2021.

I had been thinking about coming back to the fandom for a while, because I miss this beautiful ship and everything that the fans have built around them, and the occasion to finally draw them again was presented to me when I read about this new banner contest. It was such a lovely, domestic theme, and I couldn't miss the chance! 🥰💕

And this afternoon I found out that my entry also won first place in the contest!! 🥳

do you ever think about emilie ever meeting a gabenath baby and nathalie just being like Absolutely Not

*snort* only, like, forty times a day

but seriously, gabenath babies meeting emilie is one of my go-to daydreams when i just feel like zoning out. and there are lots of variations

like the one where gabriel and nathalie were having an affair and he leaves emilie for nathalie when he finds out she's pregnant, and then we jump to nathalie going into labor while stuck in an elevator with emilie who has to deliver this baby while gabriel and adrien panic half a floor up and the fire department tries to rescue them. love this one though, because emilie becomes this child's godmother/favorite wine!aunt and the two are inseparable (so not an Absolutely Not ending, but an Absolutely Not everything leading up to it)

or the one where nathalie is pregnant with baby #2 and, after a few years of pretty decent health, the effects of the peacock miraculous start to reemerge. it gets bad enough that gabriel becomes desperate and goes to the heroes for help, and winds up negotiating with them to help nathalie AND emilie. they do. and while nathalie is on bedrest, emilie starts trying to insert herself back into gabriel's life. then one night after he takes her to some big event she kisses him outside her bedroom door and, naturally, nathalie sees it happen. anyway. gabriel tells emilie in no uncertain terms that he's not interested anymore and goes to drink himself into a guilty stupor down in the atelier, but when he doesn't come to bed nathalie assumes he stayed the night with emilie so she takes child #1 and goes to a hotel. insert lots of drama, lots of gabriel groveling, and emilie moving to london in the end

or the one where emilie has the rabbit miraculous and winds up in a future where gabriel and nathalie are together with a baby on the way

or the OTHER one where gabriel and nathalie are having an affair and nathalie gets pregnant and emilie somehow forces gabriel to fire/cut ties with her. and this happens:

"Excuse me," Penny says as the pulls the vibrating phone off the table. "You know how it is with - Oh! Jagged, look. Nathalie had her baby."

Immediately, Gabriel tenses. "But she's not due until the end of the month. Is everything... They're okay, right?"

followed by:

"She's so cute," Jagged coos, grinning, at the photo of the small screen. "Squishy. Quite long, too. But Nathalie isn't all that short, is she?" He looks up and Gabriel swears the other man can see into his soul. "Do you think the father is tall?"

What is Smutember?

Smutember is a month-long NSFW prompt-a-thon for fic writers and fan artists of a certain ship; in this case, the relationship of Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sancoeur (known as Gabenath) from the show The Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir.

The aim of this Smutember calendar is to celebrate the NSFW side of our ship, so all entries are welcome!

While normal Smutember calendars are posted up as far back as June to allow creators to plan ahead, this one is made with no strict submission deadlines in mind.

How they handled Nathalie's condition in the S4.

At the beginning of the S4 we have the news that Nathalie is in a state of bed, the fact of not being able to walks and being bedridden is a traumatic event for anyone, however here we never see that Nathalie is affected or worried, no, they just throw her there and that's it.

Another point too wrong is Adrien, the boy, suffered to see how Nathalie had the same symptoms as his mother before disappearing.

However, they never give us Adrien asking or worrying about Nathalie's new condition, being that at that point they were already close enough, it is as if Adrien saw her in bed and said, anyway, let's continue. It was horrible.

And just as they threw her without explanation to the bed, they lifted her up. It's as if the writers realized I needed it there and said you just have to stand it up.

Again we don't have a scene of this, how do you handle the fact that you can walk but depend on a device? She doesn't, she's just ready to follow Gabriel's evil plans.

Finally, the most decent thing in all this was his relationship with Gabriel, we saw him blaming himself for his condition, most of the time in his room and how despite his situation he continued to help him as much as he could.

In addition to Gabriel telling her how important and irreplaceable it was for him, the magnificent plans she devised and how despite the failures they were for each other. The highest point of the Gabenath.

The horrible way they treated their character during this period, they did not even take the time to explain their state or others, they only use it when they required.
