ACK. Almost broke my streak. I'm trying to post *something* original every day as part of a Garbage Post Challenge.

So, here's some random information about our chickens. My mom and I are currently trying to train chickens to come in the garage at night when called. Treats are helping, but it's like herding kittens sometimes.

Tonight, a little feather-butt managed to find her way into the house while I was coaxing her sisters into their cougar-proof coop that's in the garage.

Thankfully, my mom's pomeranian stopped her. This little dog-nugget is afraid of everything, but the stare-down between her and the chicken was just enough time for me to get the other birds in their coop and scoop up the escapee before she got any further. Ha ha!

I just activated my new phone because my previous died, so I don't have pics to post alongside this. I'll have to take some or transfer some tomorrow.

Anyway! Have a good night/morning/afternoon!

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

just to watch that all fall apart in the last year or so and especially the last two weeks

Just realized I never posted an original post today.

My brain: “Nooooooo! My streak!”

So, with only a few minutes left of the day, I’ll write something random.

I was playing a bit of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX today, and thinking about how I’m a horrible team leader. Most everybody hangs at home while me and my two best buddies are always hitting the dungeons. And my buddies are 20lvls lower than me because I hog all the Dojo Tickets.

Having fun playing again though. I have a bunch of games I want to play right now, but PMD grabbed my attention because of a fanart I saw recently. So - I’m sucked in again.

I now have recruited the Legendary Birds. And saved Smeargle, so they customize my base flag for free now. My Pikachu butt easily clears most rooms I’ve encountered (unless ground-type) with a single Discharge. And my besties are awesome. (Typhlosion - my evolved partner, and Absol.) And I’ve been level grinding for lolz so I can breeze through what’s ahead. Ha ha.

And so, there we go. Me playing PMD, because it’s awesome. 😆

Okay, okay, so.. Raph is an emotionally volatile teenager with anger problems, grappling with a sense of insufficiency and inferiority. He copes by being overly abrasive to the point that his siblings often avoid him. They love him, but don't like walking on eggshells.

The only one who clings to him regularly and without hesitation is his annoying little brother. Mikey has is own problems with feeling insufficient and inferior, but copes instead by being mindlessly friendly and avoidant of all negativity to the point of unhealthy escapism.

So there's... like... there's this special bond between them. They are by no means each other's therapist, but they have a slight effect in balancing each other out. Raph teases Mikey most, but is also most protective of him out of all his siblings.

And then at the end of season 2, when Raph thinks their father has been killed, he goes into a full fledged rage-filled emotional breakdown to the point that Michelangelo is afraid he'll hurt himself. When Mikey tries to snap him out of it Raph turns on him with his fist upraised, but Michelangelo doesn't even flinch??? He just wraps his arms around his brother's neck and tells him everything will be okay until he calms down and Raph does calm down! he buries his face into his little brother's shoulder and I just-
