“You won’t tell anyone… right?”

Takao exhaled in frustration as he heard Garland ask that question immediately after having found his hiding place in the stadium. He was just so tired of knowing too much, or seeing things he wasn’t supposed to see. Exhausted by having to play secret keeper to keep everyone around him happy. He looked in the direction of his acquaintance, who stood there with an unusual awkwardness, shifting his weight and gazing at Takao apprehensively. He was relieved at least that this time no one was threatening to kill him.

“Your secret’s safe with me, don’t worry,” Takao said, flashing Garland a little grin that caused the tension he was carrying in his shoulders to visibly dissipate. It wasn’t like Takao was one to sow divisiveness amongst his peers anyway, not when what he wanted the most was to get through a single season without a massive betrayal or dramatic twist.

“Thanks, I owe you for this,” Garland said politely, bowing forward ever so slightly, his eyes cast down at the ground, breaking the uncomfortable eye contact.

“Doesn’t everyone,” Takao replied offhandedly, gesturing vaguely with his hand for Garland to sit in one of the many seats of the stadium's nose bleeds. Garland straightened his posture and stepped towards the vacant row of seats behind him, and slid into one.

“Yes, but I especially owe you,” he replied. Takao observed a slight flush of his skin, while his eyes were still fixed on the floor.

“Why? Because I caught you having a heated discussion with Boris at the hotel last night?” Takao inquired nonchalantly, lifting an eyebrow as he continued: “Because if that’s all, then not to alarm you but you’re not the first, and not the worst.”

He didn’t know what on earth had compelled Garland to meet up with Boris under the staircase in a secluded part of their hotel the night before. He didn’t know why neither of the two men had bolted of the sound of heavy footsteps on the staircase as Takao had sleepily descended to the main floor to get a snack from one of the vending machines nearby, and he certainly had no clue which of them had had the bright idea to risk discovery so they could angrily trade saliva.

But here they were, with Takao knowing too much. Boris had already pulled him aside after a warmup and threatened to sever his vocal cords with his blade in their next match if he told any other living soul what he saw.

Takao shifted his focus to Garland, wanting a distraction from those thoughts. Garland’s eyebrows were furrowed, and Takao was curious what he could possibly be thinking about. However he wouldn’t ask, Takao figured if he felt it worth sharing he probably would at this point. Garland was silent for several minutes, as if he was trying to wrap his mind around what Takao’s comments meant, around the entire situation.

“Look… I just want to avoid any unnecessary drama between teams this season,” Garland said, eventually causing Takao to snort incredulously.

“We’re in agreement then!” Takao exclaimed, raising his voice slightly, allowing it to reverberate through the empty stadium. He continued, allowing some irritation to be present in his words: “Then maybe you should have considered doing the opposite of what you’re doing!”

“…Maybe,” Garland said with a frown, sounding reluctant, which caused Takao to abruptly stand up.

“Or don’t, I guess lovesick is a good look for you too,” Takao snarked, before exiting the row and descending the stadium stairs.

Leaving behind a bewildered Garland to wonder if he really came off that pathetic.

Garland x Reader: The Farmers Market

Summary: A first date to the farmers market with Garland

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Open up.” You smile, holding out the muffin for Garland to taste. “Triple berry, your favorite!” You answer before he could ask.

Garland chuckles, leaning over to take a big bite.“Delicious! Just like you promised.” He sighs, following you through the crowded rows of booths and produce stands. “You weren’t kidding.” He glances around at all the fresh fruits and vegetables, grinning. “This farmers market really does get busy.”

“I hope you don’t mind!” You reply over your shoulder, shooting him a quick wink. “I appreciate you waking up early and coming with me. If you think its busy now, It gets absolutely unbearable during lunch time!”

“No problem.” Garland shrugs. “I usually get up before the sun anyways this was a good way to just-OOPS!” he stops as the netted bag of yours he had been carrying rips, sending oranges rolling into the passing crowd. “Oh shoot!”

You quickly turn around, scrambling with him to pick up the fruit before anyone can trip on them.“Trying to sabotage the market, Garland?” You laugh, holding open the extra bag you had brought with you so he could place the remaining oranges safely inside.

“Sorry about your fruit. And your bag.” He frowns, holding up the shredded remains. “You really should get stronger ones if you are going to fill them up so much. I saw a booth back there with some sturdy ones. Lets go pick one out for you as repayment for losing some of your fruit.” He laughs, looking around for any more stray oranges.

“Oh! But you don’t have to do that!” You respond quickly, shaking your head. “Really it's no big deal I-”

Garland grins, taking your hand in his.“I know I don’t have to. I want to. Now come on!” He pulls you confidently against the crowd, keeping you close to him.“Then we can go get you a few more replacement fruits and go enjoy them in the park.”

You can’t help but return his smile, rolling your eyes at his determined kindness

G-revolution content from Beyblade World has now been added to the drive!

Which means all things Bakuten Shoot Beyblade from the fan club website, Beyblade World is now accessible for everyone! The content includes character art, representative episode screen grabs, DVD art, calendar art and character style sheets. Additionally, there are dcos which feature all the textual content like character profiles and episode summaries from every season in Japanese.

I'll see about translating these sometime in the future, though I have posted translations of Tyson's profiles before! The G-revolution folder has roughly 450-500 images that I painstakingly saved in two days, so yeah translation is not a priority for me right now 😆 I'll need to drown myself in TyHil content to recover from the 'right click save' trauma but we all know there is no TyHil content to drown in 🥲

So anyway, enjoy the content, save it share it as much as you want 🫶🏻

Garland wasn't meant to have a dress, but I couldn't decide on what pants to give him... And then I was like, let's just not give him pants~ And this picture evolved from there. It was mostly colouring practice if I'm honest. The dress I'm really happy with how I shaded it :D

I think it's Monday, it means it's a new week so I'm here to share this drawing of Garland with you :3 It was easy for me because... it really is easy haha :3 I must admit that it was very good to do it, I had fun and enjoyed it, and I guess some of you like this character, In my opinion, he should battle with Takao instead of giving Brooklyn a chance in the final chapter, although the truth is it was the final chapter and it should be very interesting, you know.

It is only colored with marker and soft airbrush.

I feel like I owe you one after sharing Brooklyn's drawing, I'm sorry if it wasn't as good as the others, I'll make you a better one later, I promise.
