(Most of the Yoshis on a big chart already have names written alongside them) (dialogue from off panel:) PERSON 1: I'd like to enter with this blue one, please. PERSON 2: Um - you don't want to do that. ———————————— (Under the sign-up canopy, a Yoshi attendant behind the desk is talking to someone who remains out of frame) ???: Is that so? ———————————— (big panel: The Mushroom Derby!) (Geno's riding Boshi. He's probably used his Boost on Boshi or something, idk. But yeah, they're zoom zoom zooomin')

———————————— (also big panel: Awards after the race!) (Boshi has the first place trophy. He looks blissfully happy, with a hint of tears starting in his eyes.) (He's not wearing his trademark sunglasses, but he is wearing a shirt that says "This is my I PROMISE TO CHILL OUT shirt". Make it somehow obvious that it was made by Geno.)

———————————— (Boshi is walking away from the crowd, now looking strangely downcast and sad. Behind him, a Yoshi parent runs after him, trailed by an enthusiastic small Yoshi.)

YOSHI PARENT: Boshi, wait!

Realized the other day that Reset's older brother, Kane, would've died when he was 15 or so. Reset was 7 at the time. By the time Reset revives him, Reset's 18. Kane would still be 15. Effectively making Reset the older brother.

(Also, Reset wears Kane's cloak through his entire arc, and doesn't realize that at age 14/15, when he's the same age Kane was and when he's doing the worst of his plan, he looks exactly like his brother. And by the end of the story, Reset looks more natural in the cloak than Kane ever did.)

I always thought that Genos's armour was just pure black, but look: it's black with the overlapping plates picked out in gold.

What a striking pattern. Even when he's working with extreme speed, Kuseno will never let his boy go ugly.

Kuseno be like: my boy gets insulted because of the shit he did or failed to do, that's on him. He catches insults because of the way he looks, that's on me.
