“Look… If we will do this—I mean—I already have my fair share of troubles, you know?”
“Hum,” he mumbles. Ginny takes it as an agreement.
“And I think you’ve already got yours, so—” Her voice shakes; the back of his hand is caressing her jaw, his thumb brushing the corner of her lips. “So this is just your classic one night stand.”
That makes him pause, his gaze now meeting hers; there’s relief and also an inopportune disappointment when he nods.
“Just two strangers meeting,” he agrees, but then he tilts his head, curious. “What’s your name?”
“Strangers,” Ginny reinforces. “No names. You can call me…” Her gaze falls over her half-drunk cocktail. “Gin.”
“Gin,” he repeats, eyes shining. “It suits you. I’m guessing this makes me Fizz.”

Hi! I just re-read the gin fizz fic and wanted to tell you that I really love it so much!! I wanted to ask, with no pressure at all, if we will get chapter 2 someday? I'm a big fan of your work and hope your doing good :DD
Hey, thanks for asking so nicely! I was writing it, then lives happened and I didn’t manage more than a few words for a while now.... but hopefully I can get back to it! Would a sneak peek help?
Ginny vouches she will be better the next day, the shock finally wearing off, and everything will be fine—
Except it cannot be fine because Ginny didn’t just shag a random cute guy, but Harry Potter. Not just the famous, rich orphan, Harry Potter—but her brother’s best friend, her parent’s surrogate child, the one person in the world that all her brothers always talked highly of.
This Harry Potter.
Oh, yes, she is so fucked.
The cold water doesn’t help at all; there is not enough air either. Ginny knows what she will do, though; she will avoid him, keep her distance, absolutely tell him that it was a big mistake that they must never tell a soul about it—
But she stumbles upon her mistake as soon as she walks back to the living room, and Harry is there, bringing with him the smell of his cologne. She sways on her feet, dizzy, head still heavy with everything she had found out, and she promptly collides with him, losing her feet and tumbling back; he reacts faster than Ginny could have guessed—or maybe everything seems to be happening in slow motion. His arms wrap her by the waist as he helps her steady herself, and Ginny finds herself close to him, head lifted to meet his gaze, trapped by the green of his eyes and the warmth of his body. A muteless gasp leaves her lips, and Harry’s eyes wander down to her mouth—
Then he backs away, eyes widened, in panic, even as he pulls her to the first floor landing, away from prying eyes.
“Why,” he begins in a carried whisper, “didn’t you tell me who you were?”

THE CHERRY GIRLCUM
2 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
1 egg white
cheerwine, or a cherry soda of your choice, to top
add gin, lemon juice, and egg white to shaker. vigorously dry shake (without ice), preferably in a motion reminiscent of jacking the hell off. add ice (around 3 or 4 ice cubes worth), shake vigorously until your hands hurt a bit from the cold. double strain into a chilled collins glass and top off with cheerwine (or other cherry soda). enjoy.
THE CHERRY GIRLCUM IT IS GOOD
EVOCATIVE OF GIRLISH WOOD
CHERRY GIRLCUM IT IS SO GREAT
MAKES YOU WANT TO PROCREATE
CHERRY GIRLCUM ITS YUM AND SWEET
YOU WILL SNARL, YOU WILL SQUEET
O, CHERRY GIRLCUM HARD TO SING
SO HOLD ON TIGHT AND JACK THAT THING
