So a few days ago when I made Lone Shark and a bit of their backstory I mentioned that some villains would actually recognize them. Here's how these villains knew it was the hero.

Ringmaster Raven: He recognized Lone Shark's eyes because their eyes are quite unique in Ringmaster Raven's opinion.

Director D: D recognize Lone Shark's behavior and how they move from the previous battle as the hero.

Gretchen Grimlock: She recognized Lone Shark by their bag she recognized their bag which Lone Shark forgot to get a new bag but figured it would be fine. Nope Gretchen recognized it and knew who they were.

The Angry Cartoon Heroes Movie (The Angry Birds Movie Parody) Casting:

Cartoon characters lead a mostly happy existence, except for Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo), who just can't get past the daily annoyances of life. His temperament leads him to anger management class, where he meets fellow misfits Sonic (Roger Craig Smith) and Bomberman. Donald becomes even more agitated when his brethren welcome crocodiles to their island paradise. Oh well, have these two hunters! They’d probably bond over the supernatural and having streaks in their hair.

On another note… Gretchen. I had tried drawing her but wasn’t satisfied with first couple results as it looked wrong to me. Finally decided to bite the bullet and deviate further from her original outfit design than I intended, but I’m happier with the result so I don’t mind as much.

Poptropica Villains and Whether They Pay Taxes

Ringmaster Raven

He kept his true identity unknown for decades and ran a traveling carnival. He's intelligent AND has hypnosis powder AND the ability to vanish without a trace.

Verdict: NO

Binary Bard

Mordred MIGHT have paid taxes before falling out of favor with the kingdom, depending on how fair he felt the system was. Binary Bard, however, is unbound by any Poptropican law.

Verdict: NO

Gretchen Grimlock

She runs a huge cosmetics business that uses ingredients from rare/endangered species and will do anything for a profit. Gretchen's a wealthy, immoral businesswoman. She probably has her money hidden in offshore accounts to avoid most of the taxes.

Verdict: YES, but not nearly enough

Dr. Hare

Ok it's very likely he does not pay taxes but consider. Outside of the villainy it seems like he has good standing with Poptropicans. What if he founded a scholarship program to get the huge tax writeoffs? And because he would rather support young scientists than the government?

Verdict: A little, but most of his money is better spent elsewhere.

I'm open to discussion, but I thought I'd share my stance.
