Could you make one of Balwin's girlfriend? He comes from the future, but he decided to stay in the time of Balwin Haci, who to celebrate their union they travel to the sea and his girlfriend decides to put on a very revealing swimsuit for the time and everyone watches her, making the king jealous.
I had been bored after Baldwin IV left for battlefield. I wanted to further accompany him but Baldwin IV denied saying that it would be dangerous for me to further accompany him. He kissed my forehead thanking me for support and asked me to wait obediently in tent before leaving. I sighed bored as I came out of the tent. I wasn't worried about my boyfriend since I knew according to history books that he would win battle of Montingsard. I sort of guessed that I would be left alone in tent. So unknown to my boyfriend. I had already packed a bikini. Once I was sure that I am all alone. I decided to wear bikini to swim in the sea nearby
I was happy to feel cool water against my skin. I properly submerged in water ensuring my hair cooled down as well. I was so engrossed in water that I didn't hear the sound of knights coming. As they walked they were stunned to see me in bikini
"Isn't that the king's mistress"
"Look at her, she is practically naked"
"Such a woman like her isn't fit to be queen of Jerusalem"
I was stunned when I heard those words. I slowly came out of water and saw knights looking at me. Some looked in disgust while some were shocked but maximum had lust in their eyes. I looked all around me and saw that I was surrounded by knights
"She has such a beautiful body"
"Look at her chest, this is the first time I have seen a woman's chest"
"It's like she is naked in front of her"
I heard their comments. I suddenly felt very scared knowing how different people's mentality is compared to future. How could I be stupid enough to wear bikini in medieval era I thought
"What's going on here"
I immediately recognised the voice of my boyfriend. I was happy but also but scared knowing how easily jealous my boyfriend can get. I could see few knights in front of me making way for my boyfriend. As my boyfriend made his way through the crowd he was shocked and angry at my display and maybe bit aroused? I couldn't tell I was to scared.
"Get a blanket" he called in his authoritative voice. "Every one look away and go back to your tents". Soon the crowd slowly dispersed as someone handed my boyfriend blanket. In his controlled voice he called me "Come here" but I could easily detect his anger. As I neared the end of the sea. Baldwin IV quickly covered me in blanket and tried moving me towards his tent. I could feel some knights trying to peek on me but one glare from my boyfriend was enough to send shivers down their spine and make them look away.
"Ouch" I said in pain. "I am so sorry my grip must by too tight" Baldwin IV quickly apologized and was being gentler. "No" I replied. "It was the sharp rock which I stepped on" hearing this Baldwin IV quickly lifted me in his arms and carried me to his tent. Once we reached there he put he down.
"How could you allow yourself to go naked in front of everyone" "Do you have any idea how much have you not only embarassed yourself but me as well" I got up and tried defending myself saying"But honey, it was so hot outside" "I wanted to cool myself off".
"In that display" he yelled back. "Why don't you understand that you only belong to me" "I am the only one who has a right to see you like this but now my men have seen you like this even before me" "Now they will have sinful thoughts and dreams about you and I have to live with this fact". "Not only that they will probably start mocking you, or spread lies in your name"
"Honey, please" a single drop of tear fell down in my eyes and Baldwin IV grew quite. "Please this how people in future dress when they go to beach". "I thought nobody was here and kind of forget about the culture of clothes"
"Unbelievable, you want me to believe you that people dres- I mean you were almost naked out there"
I knew Baldwin IV knew some where deep down that I had told the truth but was unwilling to believe me. He was jealous and hurt. I could tell as a man of honour he was worried about my reputation as well. Baldwin IV rubbed his forehead in annoyance and let out a frustrated sigh. "I will see what can be done and ensure that gossip of today doesn't spread and soon gets forgotten". Baldwin IV suddenly looked back at me. He started to check me out. I knew for sure that he wanted to tear off my bikini and take me right here but his anger and hurt was stronger. "I am going to sleep now, quickly change back to normal clothes and please don't disturb me" I slowly feel down on mat again with tears coming down on face. Fearful of what have I done to his heart and if we can go back being same as before
"Please don't cry love" "I will pray to God for some miracle" "Even if miracle doesn't happen I will ensure that rumours spread in your name will be punished" "And please don't go out like that" I looked at him suprised prompting him to further continue. He looked away embarassed saying "I hate others seeing you like this, this is only my right to see you like that" I giggled at his response "But don't forget I am still mad at you so sleep on another mat" I smiled in response and quickly wore my normal clothes and went to sleep on my mat

How do you find the relationship between each sultana from SOW and their trusted eunuchs (Hurrem&Sumbul/Nurbanu&Gazanfer/Safiye&Bulbul/Kosem&Haci/Turhan&Suleyman)? I loved Hurrem and Sumbul by S04 when he truly became devoted to her, I feel he also looked for his interest after valide's death in S03, similar to Haci somehow, but I always felt that Safiye never got that close as the other sultanas to Bulbul, or is just me or perhaps her cold personality (she loved power above all after all)
Hürrem and Sümbul is clearly the relationship that got most attention and development and it was an interesting turn in both Hürrem and Sümbul's characters. The fact that their cooperation began in the end of S02 is very fitting, because that was the season and the arc of status-quo changes, a point where they both were searching for allies. The strive of Hürrem's to find loyal servants was presented as far as the beginning of the season (and by the point Sümbül came over, she already had the first political ally in the face of Iskender Celebi) and Sümbül, who tried to be in every sultana's good graces until then, sought his interest and benefit and then the two crossed paths in a small, yet crucial moment. Their relationship did undergo an evolution: it was interesting how such a well oriented in the harem, yet servile character who was known for pleasing all the forces in the harem (SS, Valide, Mahidevran, Hürrem) and move back and forth between them, ended up becoming so loyal to one person to the point of fully bonding with them.
On one hand, Sümbül's servility is one of the things I enjoyed the most about him and I agree that S03 is the more dry part of their relationship, there it was more of a normal dynamic between a sultana and an eunich who has to fulfill her orders, so to say. Sümbül's transition to loyalty to Hürrem was more gradual: first he went with her out of necessity and not really having a choice after the convincing words of hers ("do you want to be loyal to Mahidevran and be a part of the past or do you want to be a part of the future?" or something like that), then he stayed because there was no other sultana currently residing in Topkapi and only focused on doing his duty and then he bonded with her over time. His relationship with Hürrem and S04 overall revealed a big vulnerability of his character: he had bonded to the castle, to its rules and games, to Hürrem so much that he felt miserable for betraying her secrets to the spy by mistake and for ever upsetting her, he let himself tell her that part of his story he would probably never want to recall otherwise and he couldn't handle leaving the harem and her service. Maybe he adapted so much to the system that he had to go by the waves and forget what's morally right and wrong or thought only Hürrem could understand him or how he felt, at least for a while. Hürrem also had an evolution regarding him: first I feel she treated him closer to Rüstem, demanding loyalty and obedience and only in S04 she could open up to him and fully appreciate him. I loved their calmer scenes the most (especially when they drunk coffee together 💓), these were the points they could relax and escape from the hierarchical boundaries even for a moment and they showed that they actually like to be around the other outside of orders and obligations. The scenes with Sümbül contrasted with the otherwise quite ruthless S04 Hürrem and were a good breathing room after all the tension and densely-packed plot of the season. I do really like them, this is one of Hürrem's best relationships (which far outmatched Afife and Fahriye, imo).
Nurbanu and Gazanfer are probably the dynamic most similar to Şah and Mercan (which is my favourite eunich-sultana relationship, btw, for the way they complemented each other and how unique both of their characters were) due to the unrequited love Gazanfer felt for Nurbanu and him willing to die for her. While Hürrem and Sümbül had more mutual soft spots for each other, here Gazanfer is the one with the soft spot: we see how dedicated he was from the very start. By contrast, I think Nurbanu didn't view him as so much more than her loyal, trusted aga. Not that she didn't appreciate him at all, of course, and she by no means would want to lose him and was certainly moved in a way by what he thought of her and how far he was willing to go for her, but there wasn't much of a feeling or bond concerned here, probably because of Nurbanu's colder and more pragmatic nature. For me, she was the one that bonded the least with her eunich, compared to everyone else. We didn't see all that much of them, though, and we had more usual interactions between an eunich and a sultana only with a few distinct scenes here or there, more later on than early on. Again, while Nurbanu was moved by his dedication, we saw her demanding him to quickly come to his senses for his own good and pretend everything's normal or else he may be in trouble. Nurbanu wasn't much in the mood for bigger sentiment that didn't include her love for Selim, since her arc was more about at least repressing her human principles bit by bit. (by killing Nazenin, a person who has been with her before coming to the castle, losing a precious thing to her - her dog, and then questioning whether a father could kill his son, and then motivating Selim to fight that war without so much scruples etc.) I wish we saw more of Gazanfer and her, to be honest, even though they're fine like this too.
Safiye and Bülbül are fascinating. Safiye indeed is a cold sultana, heartless to her own enemies and willing to keep her power at any cost, discarding any kind of morality or moral responsibility that comes with this power itself, but her scenes with Bülbül, along with her reaction to her children's deaths and her first scene with Hümaşah, were the more vulnerable and human parts of her character. We had scenes where she scolded him for something going wrong or when she demanded something of him, but they were as much as them looking more like close companions, compared to Safiye's other relationships. The way she talks to him outside of the times where she scolds him is just different and her appreciating so much him and his loyalty is a side she rarely shows. It's clear she cares for Bülbül and that despite of all, she has given him a reason to care. Bülbül is the eunich most attached to his sultana - look at the amount of genuine feel: he's happy for her wins and sad, devastated by her losses and while he certainly had a soft spot for Kösem, he would never give Safiye up, ever. He would always believe in her and stand for what she stood for. He cherished her with all his heart and that is moving, this guy has a heart of gold and he should get all the happiness he deserves and get out of this horrible harem!!
I always viewed Haci and Kösem as the relationship most built by time. It's like in the end, Kösem is glad he's with her for all these years and the fact that in the end it was Haci that stayed with Kösem when even Kemankeş refused to go through poisoning the little Mehmed in the finale (though his loyalty to her, to the real her never wavered), was also meaningful for me in the way that Haci has accepted to be with her until the end, no matter what she did. What's unique about both of them is Haci being more of a voice of experience for Kösem. He would be there to recall the past since he has seen nearly everything in this harem. (like he did once recall Handan's fate) He is a person that would seek interest like everyone else, of course, in S01, but he did have a loyalty before Kösem, to Handan and he was moving to Kösem when that was gone. I don't think she began to trust Haci in S01 all the sudden, but by S02 we saw the mutual trust they shared. Kösem could also be calm and laid back with him, I feel she could forget about her problems for a bit in his company.
I don't have much to say about Turhan and Süleyman. Just like everything with her and her character, I couldn't feel any sort of emotion and it was all about the facade of hers she had to keep for a goal. She was relying on him to do his duty and be loyal to her and that's it. I couldn't see anything genuine in her. Süleyman himself seemed glad to fulfill her every need and was considerate with her, but that's about it. Their dynamic was underdeveloped, even though the interactions they had were not so little. It was still close to a functional dynamic when it comes to Turhan.

Just watched the new episode
So last night we were getting our cable/wifi fixed so I wasn't able to watch the new episode until today.
Can I just start by saying that I am so flippin SICK of Abigail right now. She's not very compelling as a villain or a character in general. Why does she always have all the answers? Is there no other person or book that can help the girls with something is going wrong?
I'm also getting bored with this season. It seems like last season there was so much plot packed into to any given episode. So many things happened and so much was revealed. They never really dragged mysteries out too long. And if they did (finding out why Marisol gave up Macy) they would give you little nuggets leading up to the big reveal.
Now they keep dragging stuff out and adding to the mystery layer by layer. But they are thin layers and it's not enough to keep me interested.
Before this season started I remember reading somewhere that they were going to be focusing more on the magic and mythology and less on personal drama.
I have not seen that. I've only seen Hacy drama. Maggie and Jordan drama. Harry/Abigail/Macy/Jimmy/Julian drama. And Mel kind of existing in the background in the store that she may or may not run?
Also what is up with them starting each episode with the aftermath of a mission. I want to see the mission! I don't want to see what happens after Harry gets attacked by a demon I want to see Harry get attacked by the demon. I want the full story. Beginning, middle and end.
I hope next season will be better.

Cookies At 3am
Harry finds Macy in the kitchen in the middle of the night, baking of all things. He finds it terribly endearing.
A/N: Day 4: Domestic Fluff for Hacy Week. Please enjoy :D
Also on AO3
X
Harry stirred and groggily rolled over, instinctively reaching out for Macy. But his hand was met with only cool bedsheets where she should have been laying. He blinked his eyes and let them adjust to the dark while he listened for any sound in the quiet house for any sign of where she might have gone.
He caught the slightest clanking of dishes from downstairs and pushed himself up and threw the blankets back from his legs. He tapped his phone where it sat on the nightstand and squinted against the light to check the time. Just after three in the morning. What she could she possibly be doing in the kitchen so late?
He grabbed his robe from the door on his way out of the room and shoved his arms through the sleeves as he descended the stairs. The delicious scent of cookies baking filled his nostrils as he rounded the corner toward the kitchen and he smiled to himself. He stopped in the entryway of the kitchen and took a moment to take in the scene in front of him.
Macy had he back to him, stirring ingredients in a bowl at the counter beside the sink. The counters were a mess, ingredients haphazardly scattered over any flat surface available. On the island, two trays sat with already baked cookies and there was another in the oven.
She was swaying slightly as she continued her mixing, completely oblivious to his presence. That’s when he noticed the wire of her headphones leading into the pocket of the apron she wore over her pajamas.
She stopped stirring suddenly and moved over to the oven to take the cookies out. When she turned to set the tray on the island, she finally noticed Harry standing there. She didn’t startle like he’d expected her, but there was surprise coloring her features.
“Was I being too loud?” she asked, taking one of her earbuds out.
Harry shook his head and crossed the kitchen to stand on the other side of the island. “Not at all.”
“Then what are you doing up?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” he countered, tilting his head to one side. “How long have you been down here?”
Macy shrugged, grabbing a spatula to transfer the cookies from the pan to the cooling racks with the others. “About an hour or so,” she said, glancing up to meet his eyes for a moment.
“You could have woken me,” he said, reaching out to take one of the already cooled cookies. Macy made a face and swatted his hand away with the spatula.
“Just because I couldn’t sleep doesn’t mean we both have to suffer.”
Harry chuckled. “I’d hardly consider it suffering to spend a few hours enjoying your baking.”
He reached for a cookie again, but this time she walked around the island to grab his hand. She raised her eyebrows, daring him to try and take a cookie again. Harry held her gaze, a smirk curling over his lips, but he eventually relented, closing his fingers around hers.
“At least let me help,” he said softly, leaning into Macy’s personal space.
Her expression softened and she smiled. “Can you put the last batch in the oven while I clean up?”
“Nothing would make me happier.”
She rolled her eyes, but the grip she had on his hand loosened and she took a step back. He stepped around her to look into the mixture on the counter. She already had another sheet pan ready so all he had to do was portion out the dough. He set to work while she cleaned up around him, putting everything back where it belonged.
By the time he put pan in the oven and set a timer, Macy had finished cleaning and was at the island putting the finished cookies into tupperware containers. He stepped behind her and slid his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.
“Was there any particular reason you couldn’t sleep?” he asked.
She shook her head, the ends of her hair, which she’d pulled back into a ponytail, tickling his cheek.
“No,” she said, leaning back against his chest. “But I didn’t want to wake you with my tossing and turning.”
He turned his head to place a soft kiss behind her ear. “I wouldn’t have minded.”
“I know,” she said, turning her head slightly.
“Why so many cookies?”
She blew out a breath and continued packing the cookies away in their containers. “After the first batch I figured I could make enough for everyone to take some to work.”
“But I’m not allowed to have one now?” He felt her lips turn up against his cheek and couldn’t help but smile.
“You can have a fresh one from the oven,” she said. “If you think you can wait that long.”
“I think I can manage,” he said with a chuckle. “What are you listening to?”
One of her earbuds was still dangling loosely over the counter and he took it and put it in his own ear. The song that was playing was familiar, something he’d heard her listening to countless times. He started swaying with the music, closing his eyes as Macy moved with him.
“I really like this song,” he whispered in her ear and kissed her cheek. “Dance with me?”
She turned in his arms, careful of the headphone wire, and slipped her arms around his middle and clasped her hands together at the small of his back.
They stayed like that for the rest of the song, slowly swaying in the middle of the kitchen. The next song was drastically different and a much faster pace, but Harry was loathe to break their embrace.
Macy chuckled softly and Harry leaned back to look at her face. “What’s so funny?”
“I was thinking about what Mel and Maggie would say if they saw us right now.”
“Good thing they’re asleep then,” he said, imagining the colorful comments and teasing they’d no doubt come up with.
Harry yawned and leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers.
She moved her hand to caress his cheek. “Go back to bed, I won’t be much longer down here.”
“I don’t mind waiting,” he said. “I was promised cookies after all.”
“I’ll leave you down here if you fall asleep.”
He chuckled and pressed a short kiss to her lips. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
The song changed again, but halfway through, the oven timer sounded. Harry pulled the headphone from his ear and hurried over to pull the tray from the oven. He set it on the counter in front of Macy who already had a spatula in hand.
“Which one?” she asked.
Harry smirked and pointed to the largest one in the center of the pan. Macy rolled her eyes playfully but put the cookie on a napkin for him. He broke off a piece and popped it into his mouth.
“Delicious,” he said, breaking off another piece while she put the rest on the cooling rack. “Try some.”
He held out the piece and she opened her mouth. She chewed thoughtfully for a moment before smiling.
“Really good,” she said. “If I do say so myself.”
She went back to putting everything away and Harry finished off the cookie. Macy walked back over and wrapped her arms around his middle. Harry ran his hands up her back and chuckled softly.
“Ready to go back to bed?” He asked, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.
She yawned and nodded, her eyelids drooping heavily. “Yeah.”
“Let’s go,” he said, taking one of her hands in his and leading the way to the stairs.
Macy was asleep before her head hit the pillow, but Harry was wide awake. He held her close, unable to keep the smile from his face. Everyday, or middle of the night in this case, he found more things to love about Macy and he couldn’t be happier.

“Hold Me” - Macy/Harry - Hacy
So this is the first little one-shot/ficlet based on the @fluffcember2019 prompts. This was meant to be fluffy but turned out a little angsty but there is comfort at the end so 🤷‍♀️
I am going to challenge myself to do one for each day leading up to December 25th, so wish me luck!
Read on Ao3
1.”Hold Me”
Macy pulls the box from underneath her bed, worn and heavy, hidden from prying eyes. Ever since Mel and Maggie had turned her room upside down and managed to find her most hidden thoughts she had become a little more wary about where she hid things.
Although she bore them no ill will, they had been trying to save her life after all, the initial feeling that they new her most hidden desires had made her uncomfortable to say the least. But she had told them all was forgiven, as long as they didn’t tell Harry. And the sisters had been sworn to secrecy.
She felt uneasy around Harry since the ‘incident’ with his darklighter. He was the only person she felt that she could talk to about him, and he was the only one who didn’t want to broach the subject. So she was left with her own thoughts and theories about the man who had been the ‘darklighter’ who had worn Harry’s face and yet was a completely separate man in his own right.
She managed to push those thoughts aside, not for the first time, as she opened the box in front of her. A sense of familiarity and comfort washing over her as her fingers traced the outlines of its contents.
She had kept every single one. One for every year she was at boarding school, for every year at college, every year she had moved out of home. He had never missed one and every year, after Christmas trees were taken down, and lights packed away until te next year. She would carefully place it in this box, before it had soon become almost too full to close securely.
And then they had stopped, because he was gone and she was all alone. The first year had been the hardest, when there had been no red or green envelope gracing her letterbox, and she had finally made the decision to move to a new town, get a new start and try to bury the loneliness that consumed her.
Dear Macy,
Happy Christmas, I am so proud of the woman that you are becoming, and I know your mother would be too. Only a few weeks left, and I will have a cup of cocoa waiting for you (with two marshmallows, of course).
Love, Dad.
Her fingers traced the words, moving over the little loop of his ‘l’s and the slight smudge where the ink must still have been wet while his hand passed over it, a lefty, like herself. She looked out her window, the card still in her hand as she culd remember Christmases spent with her dad, those few brief days where it was just the two of them and they would bake and eat, and fall asleep on the couch bellies full and a Christmas special playing in the background.
She missed him. Well she always missed him, but at this time of year, and with everything that had happened, her new home stolen from under her, she missed him more than normal.
She cursed herself as a tear drop splashed onto the card, wetting the ‘Love’ and she tried to wipe it away without smudging the ink, letting out another frustrated sigh as the ink was further smudged.
Just as there was a quite knock on her half open door.
She closed the card quickly, sniffing as she replaced the lid.
“Come in,” she answered as she placed the pillow on top of the box, before Harry stepped into view. She knew it would be him, he always knocked, even if the door was wide open he would always knock, seeking permission before he came inside her most private, protected space.
“Harry,” she greeted with a bright smile, another sniff as she wiped her eyes with her sleeves. Wiping away the last of the evidence of her emotions.
“Are you okay Macy?” he asked, concern permeating the question as he took a seat on the bed next to her, leaving a safe amount of distance between them. He had been very careful about that lately, leaving enough space, where before he would of snatched upon every opportunity to be closer than he should be.
“I’m fine,” she promised him, hoping that the unshed tears in her eyes, and stuffy nose wouldn’t give her away.
“I could hear.” His hand reaches out to place gently on her arm, and it is the closest contact they have had in weeks. She looks up at him and he gives her a gentle smile, the one that at times, keeps her strong, keeps her going, when everything is falling down around her. The same smile he gave her when she was consumed by the Source and his thoughts and feelings had crashed into her like a tidal wave she was unable to escape.
“Hold me,” she manages, and she can see the hesitation in his eyes, knowing that he could say no. That it could cross a line that the two of them have been avoiding since they found her. But she is aching for that sense of comfort, for the love of another person. She doesn’t want to talk, to go over again what has changed, she just needs his arms around her. “Please.”
And then his arms are wrapping around her, and her body is pulled against his. His thumb moving rhythmically back and forth across her upper arm, in such a soothing movement, that she can for at least this moment believe that nothing has changed between them.
“I’ve got you Macy,” he whispers into her hair, and she allows herself to snuggle further into his arms, his chest warm against her cheek. “Always.”

Charmed Reboot Review - 02x02
Rating:
4.5 out of 5
Plot:
“Macy tries making sense of some very intense dreams; Mel and Maggie try to accept their new roles; Harry and Mel go on an old-fashioned road trip in search of the demons attempting to bring about the extinction of all witches.”
Positives:
Definitely an improvement over last week. No huge mythology changes that make no sense so that alone vastly improves my rating.
We get a little more insight into Maggie and Mel's backstory. Though I wish we could have gotten it with flashbacks instead of just exposition.
There are a lot of Hacy moments which is a positive for me.
I am invested more in the new characters of Jordan an the shopkeeper.
Macy seems to be getting better at using/controlling her demon side.
Harry is getting his orbing back. Hopefully that means his other powers are coming back too.
I feel like it took the best parts of episode one and left most of the bad parts of episode 1.
I like that Rupert has two different accents and body languages for the two Harry's and even brings on a third of each when Dark Harry is impersonating regular Harry.
Negatives:
The characters still feel unlike themselves. Mel is was never brutal or cruel like she was to Maggie this episode. Maggie doesn't talk like a 50 year old's impression of a preteen from the 1990s. Harry isn't going to withhold info when an Innocent's life is in danger. Macy is less of a risk taker than she was in this episode.
Ray's death didn't have as much emotional impact as it could have. The flashbacks I mentioned earlier could have helped with that.
Also, Ray's death feels out of place random. My initial thoughts were that maybe Dark Harry had killed him to lure out the sisters. It could have held some emotional weight with the storyline and the sisters. The stroke just didn't quite pack a punch. Also, it could have tied in season one better with the sisters being worried that Dark Harry might target the people of their old lives to get to them.
I wish the mistaken identity trope could have lasted longer. It was dealt with in a matter of minutes.
I don't understand how changing their outfits helps them go undercover when they still look exactly the same. The demon from before should still recognize them. He would just assume they changed clothes, which is a pretty typical thing people do.
Finally, I don't like the "lessons" Maggie learned this episode that to grow up and be mature she has to become bitter, uncompassionate, unforgiving and lose her innocence and everything that used to mean something to her. That's very bad message.
Tidbits:
The reboot continues to have so many references/similarities to BtVS/AtS. I am wondering if I should add a section in future reviews specifically for that. Give me some feedback on if that's something y'all would enjoy and like to see incorporated. Spoilers for BtVS/AtS, Is anyone else getting Tara xWillow vibes from the Shopkeeper and Mel or just me? Also, the club concept (not so much the club itself) so reminds me of Caritas.
Even though I was very pissed at the character of Mel this episode, Melonie Diaz acted flawlessly.
Theories/Expectations:
Mel is so gonna fall head over heels for the shopkeeper. The sisters will start slowly discovering the code to crack the elder language.
They will start using more spells/potions/rituals to supplement for their lack of powers. Hopefully this will lead to them creating ones of their own.
Favorite character this episode:
The shopkeeper. I don't know why but I really enjoyed her brief scene.
Similarities to the original:
Anyone else get season 6 episode Witch Wars vibes from the club scene? Especially with the whole charmed one infiltrating the ranks thing.
There is a development in the hierarchy of demons which is very similar to how the original handled it.
Macy utilizing her non-witch side as a positive useful trait is very Paige reminiscent
Thanks for joining me on this journey and please feel free to leave comments, asks or messages long as they are polite. Please join me for the next episode.

Mango Ramblings: Charmed S2E7
Demons and witches getting their naughty on should be sexy, suspenseful, thrilling. I’m trying really hard not to compare, but Cole and Phoebe was all of the above and so much more. Hell, Dark!Hacy scenes leave me flushed. Maggie and Parker? Not so much. Part of it is pacing. Marker scenes lack spark–that quick back-and-forth banter layered with innuendos, threats of bodily harm, unspoken declarations of love. They look, feel and sound like school children bumbling through grade school first love than a true “forbidden love.”
That being said, I’m going to give Marker a chance, if only because demon Parker seems a smidge more interesting than demon in denial Parker. Plus, I’m here for the girls having happyhappyfuntimes, especially with the perpetual tease that is Dark!Hacy. Though me thinks these kids aren’t doing it right if Maggie’s eye makeup stays in tact. What I’m not as thrilled about? A potential Marker marriage. This is a reboot not a rehash. Why are we revisiting the “good” witch shacking up with the “bad” demon trope? Do the writers have nothing else for Maggie?
I’m glad Kat’s gone. Nothing against the actress, but the character felt like a placeholder; a test run for a potential love interest for Mel. Now that she’s gone and has conveniently bequeathed the store to Mel, I hope Mel’s plot line will progress beyond being Mel the Witch Explorer and her handy dandy Fanny Pack of Potions™ and her conveniently memorized Book of Shadows. Honestly, I’d be OK if Mel didn’t have a love interest this season and simply focused on growing as a witch. If she does get a love interest, I beg of you, casting director, pair her with Jada a witch or mortal she actually has chemistry with.
Why didn’t they use one of their handy dandy potions from Mel’s Fanny to knock Jordan out while Harry steals the ring? Or make Harry invisible while he steals the ring?I would think the two most levelheaded of the four would be able to concoct a better plan, but I can forgive their sloppiness. It’s hard to think straight when you’re lusting after your partner. I can’t complain because somehow Jordan had more chemistry with Macy than Maggie. Speaking of Jordan, so the witch (rightfully) cursed the Chase men? How does the ring play into this? How was it able to start Maggie’s new ability? Why won’t it work for the rest of the sisters? I would’ve preferred Hacy delving into this over a boxing lesson.
I may be in the minority but EdgeLady Abby grates on my nerves and I’ve finally figured out why. It’s the actress’ delivery. I get it. You’re sexy. You don’t even have to try. It just trickles out of your pore-less skin. Whenever Abby’s not laying it on thick, I enjoy her character. Her fake confession in the dungeons was brilliant. I cackled with glee as she strung Marker along (chief, if you can’t tell when your sister and right hand man are screwing you over, you definitely should not be anyone’s overload). I’m actually looking forward to the delicious mayhem I hope she causes in her ploy to screw over Parker, especially now that her sights are set on Harry. None of this will end well for Abby, me thinks. If there’s one thing that triggers Macy it’s her sisters in danger (Woo boy, Abby best make sure she save them apples…)

Best Mates
Harry meets up with his Friend who he hasn’t seen in years. Hacy of course.
Packing was all done, now it was time to say goodbye for the long weekend. Maggie double checked his checklist and checked his clothes, Mel suggested the best coffee shops in the area according to her friend in that city and Macy... well sweet Macy baked him a sweet send off treat and gave him a thermos full of his favorite piping hot tea, with a blush. She had learned well from his tea lesson tutelage.
Harry was going to Seattle for the extended weekend to do important whitelighter business. He was only comfortable going making sure each of his charges pinky swore to call him immediately should any problem they could not face alone arised. He was excited himself because he’d be seeing an old friend he hadn’t seen in a couple of decades.  Louis Aznavour Jordan, a french born whitelighter who had been his partner in crime for a long time.
Louis’s charges were often connected or close to his charges, up until he was assigned Fiona. They had many adventures together and in whitelighter years Louis was 10 years his senior, although they both died at the age of 37, Louis was born in 1910, whereas Harry was born in 1920. With country pride an all that, some wouldn’t think a Frenchman and an Englishman would get along so splendidly but they did. Louis was a dashing man, of course with an air of old fashioned charm and the handsome face to match, he had wavy slightly lighter brown hair than Harry, but was the same height as him and some would mistake them as cousins.”
After hugging each the girls goodbye, a kiss on the cheek from Maggie and squeezing Macy a little extra tight after he heard her breathe him in, he snapped his fingers and made it to a “checkpoint” in an alleyway and then emerged from it hailing a cab to his hotel. He got all checked in and made his way to the meeting spot in a reserved restaurant and looked around eagerly for Louis.
“GREENWOOD!” He heard that distinct voice yell across a room full of Whitelighters.
“JORDAN!” they shook hands and embraced warmly. “Good to see you old chap.” Harry smiled.
“Likewise Mon Amie. Look at you, Whitelighter to the Charmed ones! I’m proud of you.” he praised him honestly. The pair continued to compliment and catch up on their way to a table where they ordered tea and finger sandwiches.
“So, what’s it like serving the Charmed ones?” Louis leaned in. “I heard they are very cute young ladies.” Harry grew uncomfortable at his words, not because Louis was being offensive, because they were ......cute and Macy in particular made him blush a lot with how......cute... she was.
“Louis please, have some respect.” he blushed.
“What? Word gets around, I heard they’re very talented and smart too. The youngest one wants to be what a psychiatrist, the middle one is almost a professor herself and the oldest one a doctor. Jackpot of charges.” he said sipping his water. “My current charge, bless his heart, is wants to go live in Salem to feel his ancestors before him, yet the boy is too scared to drive.”
“I don’t blame him, people drive worse today than back in our day.” Harry replied. “And yes, I have great girls, they’re Darlings, mischievous and hard headed, but Darlings.”
“Aren’t they all, hard headed and conniving?” Louis laughed.
“Mmm,” Harry hummed sipping his tea “Maggie the youngest one, truly is the definition of a younger sister, if it weren’t for the fact I’m almost 100 years old I’d swear she’s mine, she’s an angel but uses her big doe eyes to get her way when I won’t budge, she’s still compassionate and huge sweetheart and all she wants to do is help, she’s wise in her own ways.”
“Children, always made you a softie.” Louis chuckled,
“She’s 19 but yes in relativity to me, a child.” he scoffed. “Mel is the middle child, she’s hard headed and headstrong but I respect the hell out of that girl and she’s very smart, she takes no mess from anyone, not even me but she’s still so sweet when she doesn’t think anyone notices, she’s gained that aspect of kindness from her mother.”
“Mmm sounds like my old charge Randie, remember her?” Louis asked, not particularly needing an answer.
“Macy is the eldest and she’s...wonderful. She’s insanely smart, her I.Q. is impressively high. She’s a scientist, she went off to college at 16, you know.” Harry praised, and Louis noticed a shift in Harry’s demeanor. “She loves to bake and do nerdy little awkward things like watch corny 90s tv shows. And she’s so strong, she mastered her power in almost no time.”
“Hm,” Louis stared intently at Harry, who had a small smile grace his lips. “You have a crush on her don’t you?”
“What??” Harry whipped his head up. “I, I do not, Louis, don’t be ridiculous.” he scoffed.
“Greenwood I have known you since 1965, and I know how you look when you meet a girl you fancy and I know how you look when you meet a girl you really really fancy. And right now it looks like you really really fancy the eldest.” Louis said biting his sandwich nonchalantly.
“I, well, um, well you know I can’t...” Harry sighed, there was no use in lying to Louis. They’d both known each other through each other’s relationships, even his relationship with Charity “Its not like I can actually date her, Louis, yes she’s gorgeous and smart, but she’s my actual charge and I’m.... like an old man compared to her. I was alive well before she was thought of.” Harry slouched in his seat.
Louis understood Harry’s apprehension of course, Harry never dated a charge, not only was it against the rules but Harry for the most part would date around with mortal non magical women until it was time to move onto the next charge, well until he met Charity.
“Harry, mon amie, if you go through your whole whitelighter lifespan worried about a fully grown adult woman being in diapers in the 80s or afterwards, you’ll never get laid again.” Louis sipped his tea a matter of factly, “My rule is 30 or older. Never younger personally. We feel, things Harry. Unless you want to be celibate you don’t have to be. We need love in our lives too, you know as well as I do our lives can be lonely, when you go home to your bed at night and there’s no wife or husband... no kids interrupting your sleep to climb in bed with you, if you’re lucky the least you could get is a cat or a dog... we’ve had all these things before probably... why should we be loveless servants, we’re more than that, and there are no elders around anymore. We’re free to love who we want.”
“Thank you Louis, but I don’t know if she really wants me in the same way I want her.”
“Take time to feel her out, does she act differently around you, spend time with you outside of magic training and demon hunting?”
“Well... she bakes me special treats, we have tea time and tv show bingeing together, we cook together, we listen to the opera together, sometimes the crystals that are brung into her lab for testing will be very old and the ones she finds as old as 1920 she names them after me, like Harry the 3rd.” Harry mused, a smile forming.
“When did you first get a crush on her?” Louis had never seen his friend so happy.
“Mmm, probably after I first met her, and got to know her, and how she used science to solve problems along with magic. Of course I wasn’t head over heels, I fancied her a bit, but she was into another man at the time which eventually didn’t work out..”
“Well, mon amie, I say go for it. It sounds like she may be sweet on you back. I love to meet your amour and the other Charmed sisters one day.”
“I think when i get back I’m going to ask to spend more time with her. I hope you meet them too, and I hope you fall in love like I have.” Harry sighed.
“I did, but you didn’t like me back.” Louis winked.
“Hush up, you cheeky man.” Harry laughed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Louis’s name is based on one of the two french actors/entertainers I know and I like them alot Louis Jordan and Charles Aznavour. I described him to kinda look like Louis Jordan though with Charles’s curly hair. Also I know more German than French and I’m not really good at Deutsche either lol

I didn't think that we would get any hacy because episode 15 was so packed but oh boy I WAS SO WRONG...... harry was so worried for her throughout the entire episode, he looked after her aka him coming down the stairs with the tea ( I wish we would've gotten to see him in her room). Macy showed a hint of jealousy in the beginning of the episode.... their attic scene wrote itself tbh.... and when Macy said would you vanquish me too harry was pretty much like hell no but he was horrified with charity's answer to that.

Write out the best or worst day of your life.
Friday October, 15, 2015
The day started off as it usually did. I woke up dreading going to school because it was a gold day. I do not exactly remember what classes I had, but i know I didn’t have Earth Space Science. I rolled out of bed 10 Minutes before my bus came and quickly got ready and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my backpack then headed out to the bus and sat a row behind my cousin I dozed off and woke up when we pulled into school.I got my bag and walked to door A looking at the ground as i walked with headphones in. I went to all my classes that day(oddly enough). After fourth block ended i made my way to door A stairs looking to say bye to AJ. She had her headphones in and was rushing out the building so she didn’t notice i had waved at her. I shrugged it off and just figured I would talk to her on Monday. I made plans to hang with some friends after school so when i got home, I packed a bag and waited for my friend Jayda to pick me up. We thought that we should go to Haci with some other friends. While we were waiting to be seated,I saw I was getting a call from Allison. Now the thing to realize is, I hadn’t talked to Allison for a long time so I was generally confused. I picked up and said hello and Allison was straight to the point and said, “AJ killed herself.” in a very serious tone. I laughed it off and asked if she was messing with me. She said no. She was serious. I quickly got quiet and started saying some stuff in denial. “No. There’s no way. No.” I began crying and halfheartedly rushed in to my friends in the Haci waiting area and told them that AJ had killed herself while crying. My friend Jen gave me a hug and then we went to sit down. The whole time i was sitting there sipping on water crying and staring off into space. Fast forward to the end of the weekend. Monday morning comes along and I had the hardest time getting out of bed.I trudged onto the bus and then into class. I didn’t end up staying long and just went to the grief room that the teacher’s nicely let us use for the time being. It was the teachers lounge btw. I don’t think they even said anything on the announcements. but i just remembered something so back to the weekend. Saturday and Sunday was a rugby tournament. I walked in half crying and went straight to my coach and told him what happened. He gave me a hug and then Warsaw’s coach came over and gave me a hug as well. He ended up calling his wife who talked to people as a grief councilor. I had decided that I didn’t want to play that day and left to grieve with classmates and close family members. I showed up and Robin(AJ’s mom) embraced me tightly and cried with me and talked to me for alittle while. I had never been in a room that has felt so heavy. My chest constantly felt heavy and i cried so much i didn’t know if i could cry any more. You could feel the energy of the room as soon as you walked in. It was the worst thing i’ve ever experienced. Back to monday. As soon as third block came around, i could notice the seriousness of the situation. Everything felt like a dream. Unreal. No, this wasn’t happening. This is NOT real life. Mr P gave me a hug and I sat down in my seat. AJ’s seat, which was in front of me, was empty. It hurt. I stared at it until a councilor came in with a piece of paper and told us to make a circle with the desks. He told us the situation and offered the grief room and all the usual school death protocol. I left the room with several people and remained in that room for a long time. Every time I tried going back to that classroom, I couldn’t. I choked. I couldnt stand sitting in that class without her. As the viewing came around, my friends kept checking up with me.When i got there and stepped out of the car, Myah asked me if i was ready and i thought i was. She told me that AJ didnt look like herself. I was preparing myself for something. I didnt know how to prepare myself for. I walked in and there was a line that seemed like a mile long of people waiting to say one of their last goodbyes to her and comfort her family. The whole time i was waiting in line, I was talking to people. Sharing good memories with others. The line finally made its way to her. I saw her and like Myah said, she didnt look like herself. She was in her clothes though. They were going to bury her as herself. The funeral was non-comparable to the viewing. It was such a sad sight to see all these people that have been affected by her death. The first time going to her grave was the hardest. I still have a really hard time going to her grave. Every time I go, its like that would is ripped open. I know that wasnt “the worst day i’ve had” but nothing has compared to this experience. The first year was hard. It’s still hard. I love you to the moon and back, AJ. I miss you so much.

Charmed (2018) 2x01 - Safe Space Recap & Review
Well.
Look at that.
It’s my first review...ever. (AKA i really felt like ranting about this show.)
Let’s hope this goes well. (This very well could turn into me just shouting random theories into the dark void of Tumblr)
I’m not sure how else to start off this but i would like to say that these opinions are totally my own and that you do not have to agree with me or even read the rest of the review if you do not choose to. Free will. It’s a wonderful thing.
This is gonna be wicked long. Get comfortable if you wanna.
Starting off, I’d just like to say that I am absolutely LOVING this new season? Like the previous season (season one) was fine on it’s own. It was campy and a little cheesy and still trying to find it’s footing but it was still enjoyable. (If it hadn’t there wouldn’t’ve been a season two now would there?) In my personally brutal honest opinion, the first season was more of a stream it. A one and done sort of deal.
BUT BOY DID THAT CHANGE WITH SEASON 2.
Perhaps I’m biased because I already adore the cast and I gravitate towards shows with darker content and vibes (ESPECIALLY if it includes the supernatural)
So episode one of season two starts off with Maggie celebrating her birthday. (Happy Birthday Mags) It’s been three weeks since season one’s finale and the Charmed Ones have been appointed to being in charge. Meanwhile, Macy’s also has been accepted for a dream job offer that’s two hours away while Mel really buckles down on this leadership role and Macy is afraid to tell Mel. While two-thirds of the Charmed Ones are getting their party on (same with Harry) Mel encounters a fellow witch who’s Whitelighter has mysterious gone missing. There’s a nice little sister moment and Macy screams that she loves this song. (That’s not important. I just thought it was a cute/funny moment)
The fun times quickly come to and end because the morning after, while sporting some nasty hangovers (except Maggie because that’s just another one of her powers apparently) the girls are attacked by some dark cloaked covered assassin. Which is clearly not a good thing but it does give them a plausible reason not to continue their awkward conversation when Maggie accidentally spills the beans about Macy’s new job.
Back to the murderous cloak guy...
Try as they might, the girls and Harry can’t slow down the assassin (not even with the Power of Three) but it turns out to be fine as a portal appears just in time to save them all. Before I forget, cloak guy also destroys the Book of Shadows. Maggie and Mel escape, Macy gets shot in the leg by the assassin before she begrudgingly Harry behind. Harry, who gets a fatal blow to the heart by the assassin.
The girls are then transported to this secret bunker that the elders had created. They tried to get more answers but Harry isn’t there for info and Eldervarian isn’t just a thing in Riverdale. They’re in witness witch-ness (Let Macy have her puns.) protection. It’s revealed that Macy was shot with some type of poisonous dart and the girls make the risky decision to brave whatever demonic nightmare may or may not be on the other side of the exit door only to discover something much worse.
Hipsters.
(I’m. KIDDING.)
But real talk, suddenly they’re in Seattle at a place called Safe Space (what up, title name?) Curiouser and curiouser, the girls lose their powers and Macy’s wound only gets worse. Maggie and Mel split to get first aid (Mags) and trying to contact Harry and get back to the bunker. (Mel)
Mel has a moment with a dime store witch (who may not be all that dime store. I like her) while trying to contact Harry (kudos to having his number memorized), Maggie runs into a hipster and Macy starts hallucinating a voice after reading a creepy plaque about a mental asylum for witches that compels her to follow it. (Most coffee places have plants or coffee puns. Just saying.)
MEANWHILE, (and this is just a little before halfway into the episode people) Maggie has a bumpy interaction with a boxing trainer who thinks she’s a scam artist at first while trying to get the first aid. Jordan, boxing trainer and medic, offers to help but Maggie just wants and gets the first aid. Mel and Maggie quickly discover that Macy is missing notice the trail of blood drops she left behind.
It’s fine. They find her in like two seconds. What’s not fine is that Macy keeps hallucinating and the poison in her leg is spreading. Harry’s still missing but the girls make their way back to the bunker via a key card that Mel had swiped earlier. The door is hidden, they use the Desenmascarar spell (without magic somehow) while Macy totally blacks out and dreams about “Harry.” It’s um...heated a bit to say to the least.
Back in the bunker there’s a large map of the world on a wall with lights and two of them just turned red. Maggie presses a glowing globe that opens another portal and creates a black goo ball. (It’s important. Promise.) The girls go through the portal and end up at Mary’s Magickal (no, I didn’t misspell that) in Vermont where they stumble upon a house that’s been ravaged and there’s a murdered witch that’s been hanged with the words “DIE WITCHES” behind her.
There’s also rats. Ew.
They find another dead witch (I don’t know if she was hanging too, she’s just in the next shot. RIP. I like your top.) and figure out that lights = witches. A witch board alarm system for witches in trouble. They find more darts and assume that the assassin had been there. Then there’s a third blonde lady that comes downstairs (Witch? I don’t know but how did she miss the sounds of her flatmates getting brutally murdered again?) and remember those rats? Yeah, well they’re people (well, demons) and one kills her via some nasty ass venom. (Toothpaste dude. It does wonders.)
Macy hallucinates the voice again (It’s Harry and telling her to come home. What is going on???) and totally gives away their hiding spot. Which alert the vermin demon but it’s chill because Mel literally rodent repellent sprays him away...and then runs out of spray for the next one (his cousin, mind you). Classic.
Maggie and Mel are losing the fight until Macy just steps up and straight up barbecues rodent man #2. Her magic’s back but it kinda doesn’t matter because she passes out because of the poison in her spreading and getting worse. (It’s green and black and throbbing and veiny and bleh) And then Harry pops in because he could finally track them due to Macy using her powers and absorbs the poison from her into him. I mean, it’s basic Whitelighter decency but Hacy fans for the win! There’s a tense moment where she doesn’t wake up, another tiny Hacy and sister moment and bam, Macy is up.
They all try to leave but Harry is weak from the poison which is the perfect time for mac daddy of rodent people to appear. Terrible phrasing, I know but the guy is huge. The four of them jet through back and try to leave but oopsie-doopsie, there’s no portal but there is a giant rat man following them. Macy can’t control her powers but decides to bluff with the demon in order to try and buy the others more time. Maggie remembers the black goo ball (marble, it’s a marble but I like black goo ball) and the demon tells Macy that there’s war coming. Marble’s tossed, portal’s open and they all just barely make it out.
Back at the bunker, Harry explains the bunker and the portal and that it was originally for their mother who was an elder. He also explains that the portal removed their aura and powers leaving them untraceable. Except for Macy because of her demon side. Harry tells them that the bunker is a free pass for a new life, denies knowing what the assassin looks like, and oh yeah, died earlier. Woke up in his grave and everything. He tried to get help from his fellow Whitelighters except they’re all dead. (Remember the witch who couldn’t find her Whitelighter?) And it turns out, since all the Elders are gone all the Whitelighters that were tied to them (which was all of them except Harry) are gone too.
Harry is the last Whitelighter. And there’s no one left to protect witches. Just them.
Back at Safe Space, the girls and Harry decided to stick around instead of having a fresh start. In a nice CGI moment, Harry shows the girl the house they thought they left behind that conveniently went through the portal and is cloaked and bound to them forever. Maggie vows on behalf of them all that they’ll hunt down the assassin. Meanwhile, in his solitude in the attic, Harry remembers being killed by the assassin.
The assassin who, eerily enough, looks exactly like him.
WHEW!
Can you believe that’s all just recap?
Like I said earlier I am already loving this new season. It’s darker, it’s grittier but it’s still keeping itself together. And it hasn’t lost it’s humor as there are plenty of laughable moments. And I really commend that because when a lot of shows decide that darker is better, it loses almost all its’ sense of humor which is understandable but I’d still like some faith in humanity and life when I’m done watching sometimes. It’s still fast paced but it doesn’t feel rushed or jam packed. In fact, I had wanted more action and there was clearly already a lot which only makes me wonder about what else this season has in store. It feels kinda weird to say goodbye to Hilltown and I am gonna miss Lucy and Parker, assuming we’re not going to see them for a while...if ever, but boy am I ready for the chaos in Seattle! This very well could be because I am super biased and more a city girl, then close knit town, but I just love the new scenery. There’s just so much more to wrk with. And the vibes, I can’t get over the vibes. I’m going to start sounding like a broken record if I don’t already. Also, Macy, Harry and Hacy are going to be quite the plot this season and not just in a romantic way that drowns out the plot but in a mysterious and romantic way that pushes the plot. Speaking of romances it also seems that Nico and Jada and Parker are out for the moment as this episode introduced some potential love interests with the store witch and the boxer/ medic. It feels like a new show but in a good way. And I’ve never seen the original Charmed (please don’t shun me) but I do know that they’re keeping some plot lines like the destruction of the Book of Shadows. (That’s just something I heard. I don’t know if I’m right) So I don’t know if this new direction is normal or the creators just trying to establish their own version of the universe but i am HERE FOR IT.
And now for my brand new, just thought of it, segment where I write down all my favorite lines and moments!
“All work, no play makes Mel a very dull witch.” - Maggie
The guy hanging upside down in an inflatable bubble ball.
“One drink. One, one, one drink.” - Macy, while dancing. (Also, Macy jumping up and down while sort of...shaking screaming that she loved this song was adorably hilarious for me.)
“You don’t waste anytime killing the buzz do you?”- Macy
“Why are you going into bummer mode when we haven’t even had coffee yet?” - Maggie
When Maggie tells Mel that’s she not going to wait for trouble to come through the door and seconds later a cloaked figure breaks the door down.
“Who the hell invited him?” - Maggie
“Jump now. Think later.”- Maggie
“This is why I don’t leap before I look.” - Macy
“Who says we’re on earth?” - Mel
“I don’t think they have weed dispensaries in Hell.” - Macy
Mel trying to freeze time and getting a high five instead.
“So we can abandon our lives and become baristas at...Safe Space?”          - Maggie
Maggie trying to get help and find a first aid kit from a barista but he insists that he has to finish his slow pour first.
“Harry’s MIA, Kombucha tastes like barf, and our new friend Swan isn’t very careful with her keycard.” - Mel
“Seriously? Another portal?” - Mel
“Is there anything worse than sitting here watching Macy die?” - Maggie
“Vermont? Seriously?” - Maggie
“Okay, the Elders officially suck.” - Mel
“Where’s a big-ass cleaver when you need one?”- Maggie
“Marbles.”  “As in you’ve lost yours?”- Mel
“There’s a chair at a dusty command center with your name on it.”- Mel
“You had me at dust command center.” - Harry
“To the power of three. Four, actually. This is the magic right here.” - Macy
“Today was a bad day.” - Maggie “Tomorrow will be better.” - Macy “It has to be.”- Mel
“It will be. That assassin, whoever he is, he’s not coming for us. We’re coming for him.” - Maggie

Mulled Wine - Harry x Macy - Hacy
Day Nine: ‘Mulled Wine’ for @fluffcember2019
Read on Ao3
"It would be a great social faux pax to refuse the invitation from the Saytrs," Harry said, as he stood in front of the stove, and Macy thought how hard it was to take him seriously when he was wearing his apron, and an oven mitt covering one hand.
"Can't we just send like a gift basket or something?" Maggie suggested.
"The Midsummer’s Feast is a very important part of their culture, to be invited to it, as an outsider is a great honour," Harry said, pointing his spatula at the three sisters for effect.
"You remember last time right?" Macy piped up, the memory of the hangover when they last ‘shared a drink’ with Leo still fresh in her mind.
"How can I forget?" Mel groaned.
“If we do not accept the Saytrs will find it a great insult, which could severely damage our relationship with the Woodfolk community as a whole.” Harry pressed on.
“Fine,” Mel relented, “we’ll go. But I am enforcing a strict two-drink limit on everyone.”
Maggie gave a snort, “Two drinks? Please.”
Mel put on her what Macy had come to recognise as her ‘big sister’ face as she turned towards Maggie, “Two drinks,” she repeated holding up two fingers for emphasis.
“Fine,” Maggie sighed, grabbing her books from the kitchen counter and the packed breakfast that Harry held out to her, “but I’m not the lightweight you need to worry about around here.” Her head nodding towards Harry.
As it turned out Maggie was right.
The two drink limit had worked for a while, with the sisters and Harry adhering to it under the ever-watchful gaze of Mel. That was until one of the Satyrs questioned Harry’s ability to ‘keep up’ as it was.
Which led to a slightly inebriated whitelighter leaning heavily on Macy as she attempted to assist him into the elevator that led to his condo, while Maggie and Mel had decided to stay at the gathering on Macy’s insistence that she would be fine to get Harry home safe.
Harry had insisted that he could simply ‘orb’ home however after a few flashes and him ending up only on the other side of the room with a wobble, it had been decided that the best option for Harry to get home would instead be an Uber.
Macy had managed to bundle him into the Uber without much issue, however, his navigation to his home was a little more testing.
“You know, I don’t think I have ever actually used the front door,” he said with a laugh, as he fished around his pockets, pushing against Macy in the confined back seat as he did so.
“Ah-ha,” he announced proudly as he produced a house key from his back pocket, “thought we might need to try and go through a window.”
Thankfully that hadn’t been the case especially considering he was on the sixth floor. He had tried to get the key into the door several times before Macy gently put her hand over his steadying him as he managed to get the key in the lock, turning and giving her a look of success.
Macy turned the handle and they both stumbled into his apartment. Macy had always wondered what it looked like inside. There was still so much of their adviser that they didn’t know, her eyes looking around for any clues about Harry’s life.
But it was curiously bare. A few pieces of artwork, and empty fruit bowl on the counter, an immaculate kitchen had Macy questioning whether Harry did actually have anything outside of his job and his role as their whitelighter.
Harry swayed again as he moved forward and Macy caught him by the arm, pulling him back towards her and steadying him with her own body.
“Thank you Macy, it seems I may have overdone it with the mulled wine,” he explained as she continued to move them both slowly across the lounge to what she hoped was a bedroom.
The bed was perfectly made, and Macy stifled a giggle as she imagined Harry ironing his sheets on his bed, making sure everything was just so. The pristine sheets did not remain so for long as Harry unceremoniously flopped onto the bed, almost taking Macy with him.
“Ooops,” he murmured into the bed before he rolled onto his back looking up at her, “you’re enjoying this aren’t you?”
She raised her thumb and forefinger up, leaving a little gap between them, “only a little.”
He groaned before not so delicately moving around the bed, while Macy pulled down his duvet, indicating for him to get underneath, before pulling it up to his chin.
“I’m going to get you some water,” she said as she pulled back, his hand moving to her wrist stopping her halfway.
“Thank you, Macy, for taking care of me.”
“No problem Harry, you always take care of us.”
His thumb brushed against the inside of her wrist and her breath hitched seeing something in his eyes, rimmed with red, that has her rushing out of the room. Her head spinning as she moves to the cupboards searching for a glass before filling it with water from the sink.
She hesitated at the sink, staring at the water as it fills the cup with water before overflowing. She must have imagined it, maybe she had a little too much of the mulled wine herself because Harry would never. Not for her.
She turned off the water, pouring some of the water from the cup into the sink before she returns to the bedroom. At the bedside she notices how Harry’s breathing has levelled, his eyes closed and a small smile on his lips.
She placed the cup on the nightstand and looks down at their Whitelighter so peaceful, as she brushes the hair of his forehead, thinking to herself what an awful headache he is sure to have in the morning.
And how much Maggie was going to tease him for it.
