Just found your blog yesterday and i was obsessed! Love the different winged humanoid designs and i really love you including a tail on them! Does it have any function like balance?

Also is there any lore on Ponia? I noticed feathers on her arms and back and i cant help but wonder what her story is!

Yes, their tail keeps them balanced while walking upright, running on all fours and even when attacking.

Haelumians try to avoid confrontation as much as possible but if you manage to *really* piss them off they might kangaroo-kick you in the ribs. They can stand on their tails for a split second, allowing them to make an almost slingshot-like movement. Yes, it breaks bones.

As for Poenia I really can't say much due to spoilers BUT I can tell you she's a gifted (or cursed) young woman: she can see and break souls.

In the comic, souls look like tiny crystals with fire coming out of them (example below, cropped due to spoilers)

These souls play a major role in the comic I am slowly working on and hopefully we will be able to show it to the world in the future, so stay tuned if you're interested! :D
