no new agh’s lab this year makes me sad, but at least i have this unexpected official ‘primal feast’ primal beast spray art as compensation and in reference to the upcoming diretide event that’s subbing for the labyrinth (volvo, how tf am I supposed actually play the game and earn bp shit when the main pvp game modes are too toxically stinky and sweaty to actually bother attempting to get back into it. last time i tried, i had ONE(1) surprisingly good first game where 3/4 teammates were pleasant and we won despite my rustiness while the following two games were garbo and had salty, abusive peeps). when will I crop and use this as an icon for rps??? who knows, but its existence brings me a surprising amount of joy lmaooo

Woohoo! A free day! Lucid tumbled and rolled in the sky as he soared off in search of his twin, Michael. Well, not exactly his twin. They weren’t flame brothers. The Protector and Creator of Dreams was a bud off from his predecessor, Lucifer Morningstar. A strange creation sculpted by their Father to “fill the empty seat” left by the former. But everyone knew there was more to it. Though an explanation was never given.

Those thoughts and worries of course were absent from the joyful, naive angel. He was well beyond his quota of dreams created (as per usual) so when Sera shooed him off to go do something else with his time, seeing Michael always took priority! Landing upon the archangels balcony, Lucid waltzed himself inside.

“Michael! Hey Michael! …Michael?”

Well Lucid didn’t see the man anywhere. Was he still asleep?! The sun had risen 15 minutes ago! Off to Michael’s room he strode, chest puffed up as he meant business. Inside, he found his brother still asleep. Lucid crept over to his bedside, waving a hand above the man’s antler halo to summon a window-like mirage into the archangels dreams…

This is the idea for an RP prompt I wrote some years ago. I still really like the concept so thought I’d share it here!

Every night when you turn out the light and drift off to sleep, you have a dream that you are woken up by a friend at your window. This friend isn't any ordinary friend though, they're a giant. Once you go over to your window and open it, they take you away and the two of you explore many places together. Then, before dawn, they return you to your window safe and sound.

On this particular night that you close your eyes and go to sleep though.... the same thing happens, you are woken up from your slumber from a tap at the window, it's your large friend! Only this time.... something doesn't seem right..... it almost seems... a bit more real than usual....

im hugely into cooking irl and one of my favorite things to do in writing is think a little too deeply on Food Lore for the cultures my characters come from. i like thinking about asura being little omnivores who use a lot of ingredients found in jungles And caves, and its very enjoyable to write. grub burgers and steaks, glass noodles w/ firefly larva sauce, cave crab..cakes, about a billion uses for cassava and sweet potato and ube, chips and fries made of varied root veg, arrays of pickles (they keep well in caves), dried mealworms used the way we do chopped peanuts, their love of molecular gastronomy brought in to make 1000 weird little jellies and cakes and spheres out of every possible thing (those tiny jelly cups people feed to beetles..), mushrooms sliced in wraps and stuffed into dough wrappers and lions mane cooked into soup and hen of the woods battered and fried and put on skewers, etc etc etc......

if your body wasn't made of flesh and bones, your soul wouldn't live on this planet; i think it doesn't suit it. you deserve more, better, you deserve the moon and all the stars and the entire galaxies. funny how people can spot colorful planets playing hide and seek in the depths of your eyes, such beautiful mirrors, and i don't really blame them if they get lost in them. to someone, i feel like you're hard to reach. you have dreams, ambitions, you're like the humid august wind that dances in a lover's hair. do you ever spend nights with your nose up, facing the sky? maybe stargazing? i think it would be comforting knowing your soul would be there, always present, holding hands with falling stars and singing lullabies to the clouds. you're such a dream. if your soul had a color, it would be a glittery purple with blue highlights, and it would smell like peonies.

Mystery Flesh Pit National Park

The Mystery Flesh Pit National Park was created by Trevor Roberts here on tumblr as a world building project.

In the 1870s Jimmy Jackson discovers a super organism in the Permian Basin, while searching for Oil. It becomes a tourist attraction until the creation of national forest where it is taken as a national park.

It is taken over in part by a mining company called Anodyne. Anodyne places splints inside the opening of the creature creating a series of tunnels, that visitors can hike through.

They also have a lot of things you can do outside the pit, like go to Chili's or Hard Rock Cafe.

know obviously, walking into a flesh pit may have some unforeseen (not really unforeseen) consequences,

For example, In 2007 the park closed down due to the organism essentially sneezing. All of the splits broke trapping people inside. they were digested by the orgasm, any rescue team that manged to save people would have the people rescued attempted to go back into the organism. The organism released a gas that caused people in nearby areas to develop a tone of health issues.

Around 750+ deaths, and 1,800 major injuries.

It was discovered that Anodyne failed to do a lot of the safety protocol , and the company was turned into a flesh pit prevention organization.
