Halloween Headcanons

thank you EVERYONE who helped for the ideas! i love yall! (special thanks to @fishie anon, @kielemarie and @peggyrose19!)

this is in all lowercase because im churning this out in like an hour

as always, credit to @lumosinlove

the day before halloween the boys carve pumpkins

leo goes for a classic pumpkin, geometric shapes for facial features

logan does one of those trace and cut pumpkins, he opts for a pack of wolves howling for the moon

finn goes scary - giant mouth, angry eyes, big eyebrows, pointy teeth, the works

leo also bakes a whole bunch of pumpkin and spooky treats that follow their diet plan

they plan on watching a whole bunch of scary movies

finn and leo love scary movies

logan hates them with a passion, he’s terrible at scares when on screen

but at haunted houses logan is stone-faced

and doesnt get scared

logan knows that the people behind the masks are just doing their jobs

hell, logan was one of the people behind a mask in highschool

finn is okay

only occasionally scared

but leo is TERRIBLE with them

he jumps at everything

and leo has a fight instinct, which sucks for the actors

so logan and finn hold both of leo’s hands

for the actor’s safety and their own benefits

leo insists on going trick or treating

their diet plan be damned

finn and lo object at first because “we are grown men and you are taller than both of us, we will look like fools”

but leo is still a teenager and teenagers can go trick or treating too damn it

logan is batman, this time definitely more sfw (but we all know finn and leo love him as batman)

finn is green arrow

and leo is superman

so he drags his two boys out to trick or treat with him

and after being turned down by like 20 houses

finn and logan drag leo back to their apartment

then leo goes and tries again with regulus because they are brotp

and the two of them get some candy, not much, and a few bars of soap and rasins from nice old ladies

but they come back in like half an hour

earlier that week finn (who has no impulse control whatsoever) bought like 3 giant costco sized bags of candy

so finn and lo put one into a bowl for trick or treaters

and turn on a scary movie (they spend most of the time kissing and talking ngl)

logan takes trick or treating duty

then leo comes back after about 15 trick or treaters

and then reg is stuck fourth wheeling for a while until he whaps them on the head and tells them to actually start watching the movie

when they run out of candy they turn off their lights

and they eat leo’s treats and candy while watching the movie

then reg heads back to coops' house

and the cubs kiss a bit more while the credits play

before falling into bed together, full of good food, love, and happiness

Hi! Hello it’s me again (PArdon me lmao)

Since I posted about the Lion king idea of presenting finn, Thought why not give an idea of the entire movie if yall wanna idk write it? Cause I cant write at all. Ignore the spelling and grammar errors Im trying my best. ANYWAY uh have fun reading this mess of an R.D? (Rough Draft)

Alright, its like 10 years or so after the prime invasion. The BFF Squad finished restoring magic to the universe and found out where Adora and Catra hail from, (Magicat hidden kingdom on ethiera, and adora on eternia etc.) Catra finds out shes magically pregnant and tells adora, adora is like “Holy shit were gonna be moms” SO like the dummy she is goes to glimmer and asks her permission to present her when the kit’s born. (cause its presumably from magicat culture idk u decide) Glimmer agrees and puts it on her to do lists cause yknow queen shit.

Months later, Finns Born. Swift wind like the annoying loyal steed he is, goes to inform the other princesses of the presentation. (Insert the Circle of life Music)

The princesses show up along with a bunch of other people cause It’s She-ra’s Heir/Kid. Anyway magicat queen comes and takes Finn and goes to present them (the balcony idk what part of brightmoon looks safe!?) presume the thrusting of them over a balcony.

Scorpia and Bow are holding each other crying over how cute finn is, Catra and adora are looking at finn feeling so proud and shit, Glimmer is just holding her head staring at these idiots wondering why she even let them live there.

ALRIGHT HERE COMES THE INSANITY.

Behind the scenes, Catra had been helping glimmer with advising and taking over the actual royal advisors job. The R.A aint happy that her job is being taken by a war criminal and fraternizing with Etheria’s Hero. SO With some rogue clones they build a plan to get rid of finn and catra.

FLASH FORWARD 7 TO 9 YEARS LATER.

Finn’s growing up and needs to learn the difference between play and work, the advisor tells finn that and suggests adora help them out. so Adora takes Finn out to the whispering woods to teach them about self defense and magic bonding with the planet.

DT strolls up cause their now Brightmoons babysitter (Much to their Utter Delight) and tells adora that theres some trouble in the LightZone (Frightzone) about clones. Finn wants to come but adora says no cause its dangerous, So DT offers to take finn cause they were gonna round up the Runestone kiddos for a playdate.

DT and Finn pick up the kids and they get into trouble. Finn has a whole inner monologue about cant wait to be a Hero or something to make adora let them come with em. Cue the Ditching of DT and the Runestone Kids find themselves lost in the whispering woods.

Rogue Clones find them and give chase with laser blasters. Catra finds DT tied up and explains the kids tricked DT and they hear laser fire. So they go and save the kids.

NOW catra’s a lil pissed and impressed cause Finn manged to trick DT but also left their sights. Catra gives a speech about how much trouble finns in but also quite impressed with their work and tells them that, they’ll show them how to really trick somebody (aka pranks)

Later that night the advisor and the rogue clones finally finish the plan to get rid of catra and finn.

A WEEK LATER. Spoiler alert its finn Bday (Oh god here comes the angst)

The R.A suggests a Royal family picnic. Glimmer, Micah, Bow, Glimbow kid, catra, adora, and finn go to the whispering woods cause theres a nice clearing the advisor has “Suggested.”

a mile or so away rogue clones had been herding up the wild beasts of the woods. (Yknow those hog creatures)

Catra and adora actually have a gift for finn but want it to be a suprise so they ask the advisor what to do, Advisor tells them that theyll take finn to a spot near the picnic and they can give them the gift there.

Advisor puts finn in a spot and then signals the clones.

The ground shakes, the trees start moving, BAM OUT comes running thousands of magic hogs. RUN

Finns on all fours running for their life, their panting and see a spot which they presume will keep them safe. It’s not safe at all.

Finn bolts into a canyon, and sees a high top rock that SURE LOOKS STABLE. They climb up it.

Back at the picnic advisor runs back to the crew, and tells them what happened, Catra goes haywire and starts bolting towards the canyon, Adora tells bow and glimmer to get help and grab the advisor and head towards finn.

Catra reaches the canyon first, she spots finn on the rock, Jumping down she goes running along in the herd til grabbing finn, Adora and the advisor are watching from the top, Catra is carrying finn and puts them on a platform of the canyon. Catra gets impaled by a running hogs horn, She goes down into the herd.

“CATRAAA!” Adora cries and jumps down into the herd as She-ra to save catra. Finn looks on in horror trying to spot adora and catra. Boom out jumps adora going up the slide, struggling to carry catras limp body.

Finn goes to climb their way out of the canyon.

Adora is holding catra tightly and is still climbing til she sees the Advisor looking down on them. “Here! Grab onto catra!” The advisor smiles sinisterly. “I’m Afraid I can’t do that adora..” Adora looks at them in confusion. “Goodbye my oldest enemy” The advisors eyes flash green. Adora’s eyes go wide. BAM a burst of magic hits adora causing her to fall with catra.

Finn screams in the distant.

The herd leaves. Its quiet. dust is still kicked up.

Finn looks at their parents bodies on the ground. Limp.

“M-mom’s?” They called out. Knees buckling they go to catra shaking her “Please you gotta get up...”

“What have you done...” The advisor voice tells them.

Finn looks them at in fear “I didn-” “Insolent child! Look at what have you done! You’ve robbed etheria of their greatest heros!” Finns ears fold back, tears flooding their face.

“Get out of here. If you ever show your face here again I’ll have the palace guards kill you” a bright ball of magic formed in the advisors hand.

Finn bolts. the advisor chuckles darkly, for it was only the beginning of a new era.

Bow and glimmer teleport to area. they spot their friends.

Glimmer shakes catra “Horde scum DONT YOU DARE-” Catra bolts up gasping and then groans in pain “well.. there goes one of my 9 lives.” catra looks around and sees adora. And now shes screaming at glimmer to heal her.

The advisor looks ready to run. Glimmer heals adora and adora stirs going “W-what happened?” catra fills her in (catra doesnt know about the advisor she was unconsious.) And they cant find finn. so now its depresso expresso time cause adora cant remeber what happened and where finn is.

LOL IHATE WRITING THIS ALREADY.

Alrighty alrighty. So finn gets lost in the crimson and find Lonnie and the horde kids. (they dont know its catra or adoras kid cause they burnt that bridge) they adopt em for protection and help with digging in the crimson waste mines for gems and whatever else. And finn dyes their hair blond and shaves it to hide their idenity in fear of the advisor.

8 or so years past. Finns like 17 and the horde kids r old LOL

Scorfumas kid stumbles upon finn and they go into conversation about what the hell happened. Finn tells em about how they killed their parents and how they werent allowed near brightmoon cause the advisor would kill them. Scorfumas kid then has to explain that the advisor was now running brightmoon into the ground using their grief to an advantage. Btw kyles singing can u feel the love cause he do be misintruptioning shit. fuckin kyle XD (Lonnie is gonna kill this fool)

LATER FINN LOOKS AT THE WOODS AND OUT COMES YA GURL RAZZLE DAZZLE! Madam razz goes into her time loops and yknow the deal, she goes “Catra is that you dearie?” Finns like “YOU KNOW MY MOM?!” anyway razz leads them to the abandoned fort of grayskull yack yack yeack. Razz tells them that evil comes from power, not from heart, remember who you are type of shit.

Finn finally decides to go home.

Back at brightmoon everythings horrible. its the works yknow? DT got stuck in the “Prison” cause of how they were sus of the advisor.

Just gonna shorten it cause this is so LONG. Finn shows up, catradora are in shock. advisor turns out is the leftover of PRIME so then finn and him fight. Finn wins and here comes one of the newest heros to etheria. GG end of AU LOL

1. Whats up w/ the name tho:

I wanted a meaningful username that I could use everywhere, and my last web-wide user was SkyyFox, specifically with two x’s on either side so I was like Absolutely Not. The scout part comes from the fact that my fam wanted to name me Scout, as in To Kill a Mockingbird and Slip comes from Star Wars(there was a storm trooper nicknamed Slip, also coincedentally the one who slapped their bloody hand on Finn’s face), and my actual name comes from Star Wars, so put two and two together! And you’ve got my user. You can call me Slip, Pip, Slippy, etc. :)

2. Last time I cried:

Uhhh like 2 weeks ago- I was super stressed about a college class I’m taking next year and it feels like I’m locking myself into one career and closing all other doors lol. My friend skully and beanie cheered me up so that’s good :)

3. Any Hobbies?

Cooking! And sketching, but I’m no artist. Videogames, reading fics, watching My Hero Academia’s Two Heroes Movie on repeat, etc. I’d love to try pottery!

4. Indoors or Outdoors?

I like indoors since I have A Comfy Bed, but I don’t mind chillin on a porch or going onto my deck when its raining! When the sun glares down on you that’s a different story though.

5. How tall are you?

Just checked yesterday! I’m 4’ 11” ish, probably a little less.

6. Where are you from?

Born and raised in Colorado! Right next to pikes peak :) A beautiful but crowed city.

7. Any Phobias?

Spiders,,,,,, uhhhhhhh The Thing In The Dark I guess? Anything I can’t see makes my hair stand on end. But I really hate spiders.

8. Horror Movies, yay or nay?

Nay, mostly. Depends on which movie, since they’re usually gorey and I hate those types, but I usually tend to stay away from them. Horror stories/creepypasta is a different thing tho.

9. Do you speak any secondary languages?

Ah!!! No :(( I really want to. Obviously english is my main language but I’m trying to learn italian and greek for a trip in 2020, but I mostly just want to learn spanish and japanese, since I’m hispanic and I enjoy the Wack Language of Japan. I know a bit of french though, not enough to hold a conversation but I can name,,, fruits... and ask how people are doing.

10. Favorite Superhero?

In regards of me leaving tumblr, here is why.

As of lately, I am more stressed and upset more than I am bubbly and happy. In all honesty, tumblr makes me a smidge more unhappy. I'm tired of not being able to have an opinion on here without my inbox and messages being flooded with hate, it's annoying as hell. More than half of the people on wrestling tumblr are nothing but people who are too defensive about their favorites, thus making is super hard to express an opinion without hearing. "wOWOWOWOW OHMYGODCANCELLED C A N CELLED" yall are super overdramatic about it sometimes.

I just miss being able to have a voice without fearing the worst. I cant express wrestlers I like without having to block ten people each time because you guys dont know how to behave around a person who doesnt agree with you. (Like when I said I dont like dean and I dont find finn attractive.)

I'm normally NEVER this defensive, bit this is bottled up anger over the past few months and more so over the past three weeks. I just want yall to fuckint behave yourselves because a lot of you dont understand that I have a different opinion. In short, this place is pretty toxic.

For a bit, my struggles were an inside joke with few that now is an issue and a problem.

So I dont know when I'm leaving and for how long. I might leave tonight and come back in a couple of weeks.

hi so like two ppl liked my post abt me making an in depth post about me so i decided 2 go through with it even if only two ppl wanted it bc I Love Talking Abt ME!

hi!! so my name is max, but i go by, and have gone by, a lot of names (including, but not limited to, serena, ben, eddie, red, chey, etc.) my actual irl birth given name is cheyenne, i dont care if you call me that it’ll just be a bit weird for me bc i havent gone by that online in over 2 years. im 15 years old!! i was born july 27th 2003, the bad news is if youre older than me ur now my parental figure no take backs.

i have really really bad anxiety!! its to the point that it keeps me up at night and i usually cant message my friends unprompted to talk, let alone the strangers i want to befriend. i have adhd, ocd, anxiety, and depression! i may also have aspergers, but i havent been tested yet so we dont quite know. you’ll have to forgive me for my negative posts, as i dont really have anywhere else to go with that stuff :(

i was born and raised in tennessee! you’ll see me tag posts containing anything cowboy-ish with “tennessee tag” bc i think im hilarious personally. this is also the reason i listen to quite a bit of country (carrie underwood and miranda lambert are GOOD ok!!!) and its also why im such a big preds fan!

my first ever hockey game was april 11th, 2004: the first preds home playoff game! i dont remember much from my childhood (as i dont remember anything before last week) but apparently i was an outgoing easily excited kiddo, and during games i would fall asleep as soon as the period ended and woke up as soon as the next one started. my grandfather works for the nhl! he is the nashville predators time keeper (dave/david peterson if any of yall have been to the games lol) and because of this i got to meet a lot of players as a child!

my favorite stories to tell about this are about the two players i was closest to, adam hall and chris mason. once, when adam was in either tampa or minnesota i was downstairs waiting for him and he was late for the bus, so he ran right by me. according to everyone who tells this story (since i cant remember) i saw this, stomped out of the room, and loudly yelled “adam hall! where is my hug!” a different story is when i was a kid i was terrified of goalie masks. when mr chris mason came to say hello i got scared and he apologized for scaring me. my response was “its okay mace! i know the mask keeps you from getting booboos!” (i was a Child OKAY) and some blackhawks players were nearby and they started chirping him abt that and i fuckin Yelled At Them. bc im Iconic apparently.

but my alltime favorite story is about paul kariya. apparently once at a player meet and greet i walked across the table to him and just started Talking To Him???? and he taught me what a fist bump was (he called it “knuckles” and i Loved Them) and i pestered my family and everyone i saw with it for awhile (i would constantly loudly proclaim “knuckles!!!” whenever i wanted a fistbump sksksk) and fun fact: i couldnt say kariya (i was really young ok) so i called him “paul kia!!!” so now i forever associate kariya w the pokemon palkia

i was lucky enough to grow up with a nhl official as a grandfather so i was close with a lot of players, but i was closest with nashville goalie chris mason! he is a genuinely fantastic man and i once travelled to st louis to see him after he got traded. (that ended up w st louis fans jokingly trying to keep me after i told them i was his lucky charm [they didnt believe me until they beat the canucks 8-1 sksksk])

after the 2015-16 season i fell out of hockey. there were bigger hyperfixations to deal w, the offseason was always a bad time for me and i ended up genuinely forgetting about hockey. wish i was joking. then my brother started talking about a boy he called his “ham son” and that’s how i found out about auston matthews. thanks to him i got back into hockey! it was around january 2017 and i fell back in love with the sport that practically raised me.

im still a preds fan to this day. although i like new teams now, something past me would HATE. in fact past me was one of those annoying “fuck puck bunnies >:( bandwagoners are FAKE FANS” ppl, but thanks to tumblr ive learned to love too many teams to count. in fact thanks to a certain finn (aho) im actually conflicted on my favorite team these days, i mean im literally going to raleigh for thanksgiving so i can see the canes play the devils and the leafs!!

one year of “the gain train.”

alright, so get ready for a massive fuckin emo post because i’m about to tell y’all about some of my very best friends. first of all, shoutout to the duffer brothers and netflix for giving us the amazing show that is stranger things. and shoutout to the wonderful cast, because without any of those people i wouldn’t know my best friends. i made this blog roughly a year ago (it was around september 13th, 2016 i believe.) i just needed a place to talk about stranger things non-stop without my irl friends being annoyed and i had been on tumblr for years with different fan blog (this is the only one i’ve got now.) i knew that i’d find people here who would GET ME but i never knew that i’d find a bunch of nerds just like me who love shit posting and making memes and bad jokes. so here we go.

@bill-denbroughs - SHELLY. listen. i love shelly so much. we really have become closer in the last few months and i’m very thankful for that. shelly is one of the most kind hearted people i have ever met in my life, and she really deserves nothing but the best. and i’m pretty sure we’re the same age, some of the older ones of the gc which makes us moms, but shelly is the real mom. she’s karen wheeler. we would fall apart without sweet, sweet shelly.

A/N: I had so much motivation to crank out the second part that it’s truly amazing, even with how busy I’ve been. The door was shut behind Matt as he bustled into Poe’s office, the blinds being closed so the only light in the room was coming from the bright bulb in the ceiling. Poe always claimed that he hated the feeling of the entirety of the CPD watching him while he worked. Looking up, Matt noticed that Poe settled behind his desk, and so Ben and Matt seated themselves in the armchairs in front of him. Matt swallowed a lump lodged in his throat, anxious to share his plan once more. He wasn’t sure that this plan was going to go over well with either Ben or Poe, but he had to give it a try. It was their only real chance at getting anywhere near Kylo and his plans.

“Alright, Matt, what’s this idea Ben tells me you have?” Poe asked as he adjusted himself in his desk chair. Matt scratched his hair before clearing his throat.

“It’s about Kylo,” he started off, causing Ben to scoff. There he went with interrupting again.

“Well, obviously, you already established that. What about Kylo?” Ben said, his impatience being clear. Even though he was in the squad that had the most to do with dissembling the mobs, he hated to hear anything related to Kylo, no matter what the subject matter, so it was very clear Ben wanted this over with. Matt furrowed his brow at his brother’s response, growing slightly agitated.

“We don’t have a spy inside the Knights of Ren. They’re all too loyal to Kylo, unlike the First Order. Unlike Hux’s men, it’s safe to say that Kylo’s men would die for Kylo if they had to. Well, I have an idea who we can send in as a spy,” Matt stated, gauging the reactions of Ben and Poe. Poe was smiling, obviously elated at the idea of a spy within the Knights of Ren. Matt was right, it was easier to have a spy within the First Order, especially since many people weren’t particularly fond of Armitage Hux, making it all too easy to find someone like Finn to infiltrate the ranks. The Knights of Ren, however, was a more difficult story. Matt was right on the money when he said they’d die for Kylo.

Ben, however, had creeping suspicion growing inside him. He almost feared that his brother would do something stupid, like volunteer to go himself, especially since he couldn’t think of anyone else who would be eligible for such a task. No one was stupid enough to think they could gain Kylo’s trust in a matter of seconds, let alone be a spy for him. Anyone who thought they could was basically attempting suicide, as it wouldn’t be unlike Kylo to kill any spy he found.

“Alright, Matt. Who is it?” Poe asked with a smile, leaning onto his desk as he waited for Matt’s response. Matt swallowed another lump in his throat. This option would definitely be debated by Ben, in fact probably strongly argued against, but there really was no other option.

“(y/n),” he said finally, the room falling eerily silent afterwards. Poe’s face had dropped, and he turned to look at Ben, who he could already tell was fuming. If looks could kill, Matt would’ve dropped dead as soon as your name left his mouth with the fire in Ben’s eyes.

“Hell no,” Ben said suddenly, causing Matt to snap his head towards him. Matt frowned and let out an exhausted sigh. At least his brother was extraordinarily predictable.

“Look, there’s no other way. We’ll never get anyone else inside the ranks of the Knights of Ren, and if Kylo still feels about (y/n) the way he did when we were teenagers, this should work perfectly,” Matt rationalized. Poe stroked his chin in thought before running his hand through his thick brown curls.

“Look, Ben, Matt is right, we’ll definitely never get anyone else in the way we can get (y/n) in. Besides, if Kylo does still feel the way he did when we were younger, it would be safe to say he wouldn’t suspect her,” Poe rationalized, causing Ben to frown and furrow his brows.

“This could put her in serious danger! And if he finds out? He’ll kill her Poe,” Ben argued, his voice raising with each word. Matt flinched at his brother’s words, knowing they were true. Matt wasn’t so naïve to think that they had another way, however, so he knew they had no other choice.

“If she seems like she’s in any immediate danger, you have my permission to take her out of the city to somewhere safe,” Poe stated, causing Ben to let out a huff and lean back into the armchair.

“Fine. How do we get her to him, though?” Ben asked, his arms crossed.

“Well,” Matt interjected, “didn’t Finn say something about Lukas Cortenshis hosting a winter gala? And that both men from the First Order and the Knights of Ren would be there? We can get Cortenshis to let her into the gala, and he’ll see her there.”

Poe nodded as he thought about Matt’s plan. It was truly genius, even if they had to enlist Lukas Cortenshis’ momentary help, something Poe wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to do. It was necessary though, and he was willing to make that sacrifice. That part was easy, however, and now they only had one problem; to get you to agree with this plan.

“Alright, the gala is in a week. We need to know by tomorrow whether or not (y/n) is willing to do this,” Poe said thoughtfully.

“We’re taking (y/n) out to dinner tonight. We can see then,” Ben added softly, earning a look from Matt and causing Poe to nod.

“I think I’ll come with you too. It’s best all of us are there to explain,” Poe said before standing up from his seat. “This plan is of the utmost importance. Until we know for sure that (y/n) will agree, this plan does not leave this room.” Matt and Ben nodded before they rose from their seats as well, quickly making their way out of Poe’s office and back to their respective places at the Coruscant Police Department.

You did the final touch-ups of your hair as you sat at the old beaten up vanity in your room. Staring at your reflection in the mirror, you smiled, content with your light makeup. You knew you didn’t need to look too good in order to go out with your friends, practically your brothers. After letting out a happy sigh, you heard the phone ringing from inside the living room. Standing from your bench at the vanity, you ambled over into your living room, pulling the phone off the receiver. You were definitely more relaxed than the last time you’d gotten a call.

“Hello?” You said sweetly into the phone, sitting down in the armchair next to the receiver.

“Hey, (y/n), we’re about to head out. Poe wants to come with us too, is that okay?” Came Ben’s voice, causing you to smile. Despite the obvious stress in Ben’s voice, you could tell he was happy to get out and spend time with you when neither of you were at work. In all honesty, you were relieved too. You couldn’t remember the last time the three of you went out to dinner or did something similar of the sort.

“Of course! I haven’t seen Poe outside of the diner in very long either!” You replied, smiling widely. To say you were excited seemed to be a bit of an understatement. It was really like having all your friends you grew up with together again…well, almost.

“Perfect! I’ll see ya in five minutes!” Ben announced before hanging up. You put the phone back on the receiver and stood up, smoothing out the skirt of your dress.

You picked up your coat and purse from where you had left them earlier, and decided to wait on the loveseat for Ben, Matt, and Poe to arrive. You looked out of the window, the street lamps dwindling through the snowfall like stars. It was a beautiful sight to see, and you let out a dreamy sigh as you watched the white flurries fall lazily from the sky, landing delicately on the ground. Suddenly, you saw two headlights pull into the parking lot of your complex, and you knew immediately who it was.

Jumping from your spot on the loveseat, you pulled on your coat and quickly turned off all the lights to your apartment. After you walked out of the door, you locked the door behind you as you were pushed by a gust of cold wind. When you turned around, you saw Ben climbing out of the car. As soon as he made eye contact with you though, he simply smiled and stood by the open door. You smiled back and waved as you walked down the metal steps, your shoes creating an echo as they hit each one.

“Hey, (y/n), we left the front seat open for you,” Ben said with a smirk, his eyes barely visible from his hat pushing his hair in front of them.

“Such a gentleman,” you proclaimed as you opened up the passenger door to Ben’s car, climbing in and instantly turning to look at Poe and Matt in the backseat.

“Well hello boys. It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other out of uniform,” you said with a smile, causing Matt and Poe to both smile back at you. Ben climbed back in and shut the door, rubbing his hands together as the warmth of within the car finally washed over you. Ben let out a breath before turning to face all three of you.

“Alright, where to?” Ben asked, looking between you, Matt, and Poe. Poe simply shrugged in response.

“I’m good with whatever,” he said, looking out of the window.

“What about Fellini’s? We haven’t been there in a while, and I want Italian food,” Matt suggested, to which Ben grimaced, shaking his head. You smiled as you thought of the small Italian restaurant off the corner of Main Street and Temple Lane.

“Sounds good. You okay with that you two?” Ben asked, indicating to you and Poe. The two of you nodded in unison, causing Ben to smile before he turned towards the windshield.

“Fellini’s it is,” he proclaimed before shifting the gear, reversing out of the parking spot he was in, and leaving your apartment complex, the snow crunching beneath the wheels.

Lukas Cortenshis was a business man of sorts, and as such he prided himself in his dealings with all three parties of this “mob war,” as the normal folks called it. Of course, Cortenshis knew he’d have to make a decision between the Knights of Ren and the First Order in the meantime, but he definitely had the means to ensure his family’s survival, even after the fall of these gangs. Besides, the choice was very obvious to him, so he knew he wouldn’t regret his temporary decision. Knowing this, he was not surprised in the least to receive a phone call in the snowy hours of the afternoon as he sat comfortably in his living room. In fact, he was almost expecting it, as he was always the first source of recruited help from anyone, even the CPD.

“This is the Cortenshis residence, how may I help you?” He asked politely into the phone as he read the daily paper, skimming the black print for a grasp on the news. It was useless though, he always knew more than the papers did.

“I need a favor, Cortenshis,” came a familiar voice that made the corners of Lukas’ mouth curl up. Ah yes, the business of recruited help, and from Poe Dameron himself.

“How can I assist you this time Dameron? You better have a good manner of payment for whatever it is,” Cortenshis dragged out, wanting to keep Poe reeling like a fish on a hook.

“Cut the horse shit Cortenshis. I’ve got a good deal for you. All I need is your assistance,” Poe said. From his side of the line, he was tapping on his desk impatiently. Oh how he hated negotiations with this man, it extremely damaged his pride and made him feel like a low-life, but if he wanted to end the mob war, there really was no other option.

“Of course, Dameron. What can I do for you?” Lukas asked, placing his paper down on his lap. He wanted to intake every bit of information Poe was going to give him. After all, it would probably ensure his family’s survival.

“I need you to allow a potential spy of ours into your winter gala,” Poe stated, leaning back in his seat, waiting for Cortenshis’ reply. The air was still in his office as he waited for a sound from the other line. Poe could already feel the sweat forming on his forehead.

“I’m not even going to ask how you know about the winter gala. And for who is this spy?” He asked in his pompous voice, stroking some of the hairs on his mustache as he waited once more for Poe. There was a sigh on the other end of the line, which made Cortenshis’ grin even wider, if at all possible.

“Kylo Ren. We need you to tell Ren that you invited the girl, come up with some story on how you know her, and make her look like a mob boss’s leading lady,” Poe all but demanded, causing Lukas to chuckle.

“Kylo Ren can’t be swayed by a mere beautiful woman, but I digress. What do you offer me in exchange for my help?” Cortenshis was listening more intently than ever, his curiosity piqued by Poe’s plan. This woman must be truly something if they thought she could manage her way into Kylo Ren’s life.

“Immunity. Until we’ve seen the fall of both the First Order and the Knights of Ren, your family or their business dealings will not be interrupted,” Poe offered, letting out an exhausted sigh. It took him everything to come to this conclusion, but there was nothing he could give Lukas Cortenshis to sway him in the CPD’s favor except for this. Poe heard a chuckle from the other end of the line.

“You truly are desperate to see this supposed war end. Very well Dameron. Send the girl to me as soon as possible and we’ll see what we can do to make her seem more…appealing so to speak,” Cortenshis offered, causing Poe to rub his forehead in thought.

“Alright. With any luck, that should be tomorrow. I’ll let you know if it’s any later than that,” Poe said before hanging the phone back on the receiver. Poe let out another sigh. Cortenshis would certainly make you look like someone who loved the mob lover’s life, there was no doubt about that, but how would Kylo react to that? Would he be happy, shocked, or angry? There were so many unpredictable outcomes to this plan, but as Matt had so prudently stated, this really was their only chance. Poe just hoped you were up for the challenge.

The drive to Fellini’s was pleasant, what with Ben turning up the radio as high as it could go, Christmas music being sung along to by Matt and Poe in the back seat. You couldn’t keep yourself from laughing at them, especially since they were both horrible singers, and occasionally you joined in on their singing. It had been so long since you’d been this lighthearted.

Ben, however, could scarcely remember a time he was so heavy-hearted. Though he was smiling at Poe’s and Matt’s ministrations, he could feel a weight on his chest. The thought of putting you in such danger was terrifying him, and the thought that you would agree to go along with it…that was a whole other feeling.

As the four of you pulled up to the Fellini’s parking lot, you noticed how wonderful the restaurant looked this time of year. They had hung icicle lights from the awning, and they seemed to shine even brighter through the snow. You could tell just by looking inside that the restaurant was warm, and seeing everyone inside smiling and enjoying themselves made you feel warm inside.

All of you climbed out at the same time, Matt and Poe both having a more difficult time considering the actually had to slide across the leather seats. Once everyone was out, Ben locked the door, and then you all walked up to the entrance of the restaurant. Poe held the door open for all of you, his appearance looking frazzled by the cold wind, and then he followed in after Matt.

“Hello! How many is it gonna- oh it’s you guys,” said a familiar brunette at the hostess podium. You let out a laugh as Rey smiled at the four of you.

“Nice to see you too, cuz. There’s only four of us tonight,” Ben said as he stood in front of his cousin, looking around the restaurant as he pulled off his coat, resting it on his forearm. Everyone else did the same, as the inside of the restaurant was plenty warm.

Within a few seconds, Rey was leading the four of you to your table, which was placed in the far back, where there seemed to be the biggest crowd. Poe examined it silently. This really would be a good environment to propose their pitch, the area too crowded for prying ears.

Dinner seemed to go by quickly, the air filled with the laughter of your friends, occasionally joined by Rey when she wasn’t busy taking people to their tables. After the four of you had finished your entrees, however, the mood changed as Poe, Matt, and Ben all exchanged glances before looking at you. Poe nodded so quickly and so short you almost didn’t notice, but you looked back at them, confusion clear on your face.

“(y/n,)” Poe started with a sigh, running a hand through his curls. “There’s…a favor we need to ask you.”

“A favor? What kind of favor?” You looked between Ben and Matt, Ben not looking you in the face, and Matt seeming to stare into your soul. You turned back to Poe, who was staring at the table.

“We need you to be a spy,” came Matt’s voice, causing you to turn towards Matt. You furrowed your brows at his quick response. You could tell by the look on Matt’s face that he was anxious to get it out.

“A spy? Why me? I’ve never been a spy before in my life, I doubt I’d be any use to you,” you started. You just couldn’t understand why they wanted you. It wasn’t like you wanted to help, in fact a while back you had told Matt if they ever needed your help, they had it, but you never thought they’d ask you to be a spy.

“Look, we want you to spy on Kylo,” Ben said, breaking his silence as he stared out of the window that he was seated next to. As soon as you heard his name, it felt like you’d been hit with a brick.

Kylo. Even hearing his name gave you a pang of regret and made you think of the last day you’d seen him. You would’ve given back anything to change what had happened that day, especially if it changed the course of his life.

This also made you understand why they wanted you. Even so, you weren’t sure if Kylo ever wanted to see you again.

“Look, all of his followers are too loyal to him to spy on him. Assuming he still feels the way he did about you, he’ll probably accept you with little to no problem, especially if we make your reuniting seem like chance,” Matt said, breaking the silence that had befallen the table.

“How do you plan to do that?” You said as you stared off into the crowd of people at Fellini’s. This all seemed like a weird dream, one you weren’t sure you wanted to wake up from.

“Well, we’ve conspired with Lukas Cortenshis. According to information we received from Finn, and confirmed by Cortenshis himself, Cortenshis is holding a winter gala, of which he’s inviting both the First Order and the Knights of Ren. Kylo has to be there in order to sway Lukas Cortenshis into assisting him and siding with the Knights of Ren. Cortenshis is allowing you in, and you’re supposed to meet him tomorrow is you should agree. Together, you’ll come up with some kind of story on how you know the Cortenshis family,” Poe explained, to which you nodded in response. This really was a lot to take in at once, but you could tell this was a very well thought out plan.

“What if he doesn’t…let me in, per se? What then?” You asked, looking between your three friends once more.

“Then that’s it. There’s nothing else to be done. Look, (y/n), I’ve talked it out with Leia, and the CPD can pay you under the table for this. We desperately need a spy within the Knights of Ren.” Silence had befallen the table again as Poe finished speaking. You sat there, mulling the idea over in your mind, and his name. Kylo, Kylo, Kylo…

“Look, (y/n), you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to,” Ben stated, causing you to slowly lift your head towards your friends.

“No, I’ll do it,” you said firmly, sure of your choice. Maybe you could help Kylo, while also helping the CPD. You wouldn’t know until you tried, and that was your motivating force. You would give anything to have Kylo back in your life again. After all, he was the one you’d been closest to in your childhood, and you, along with Leia, were one of the most hurt to see him go.

Ben’s eyes widened in shock at your answer, and how sure you seemed. Poe smiled, his face brightening with a new hope. You could do this, he believed in you, and he knew you wouldn’t let them down. Matt also felt the same optimism and smiled, hugging you tightly, causing you to smile and hug him back too.

It seemed to Ben that he was the only one who was hesitant, the only one who felt like this would not end well for either party. He was concerned, for so many reasons, but mostly because he knew how Kylo was. Kylo was a ticking time bomb, and no one knew when he would go off. Ben could only hope and pray that it wouldn’t be on you.
