Hello! For Luisa's birthday, I think I'd like something that touches on her relationship with Dolores, Camilo, Antonio, or all three since she doesn't interact with them much in the movie, but there is that small bit at the end where Antonio gets the donkeys to help her relax. I'm sure they would want her to enjoy her special day.

I've covered Antonio and Dolores today, so looks like it's Camilo's turn!

It was Luisa's day off. She was still adjusting to days off, and so was the rest of the Encanto. Her last day off had been...awkward. A bit of a failure.

"A complete cluster-fuck," Camilo said.

Sadly, Luisa had to agree. She'd been asked to fix the wheels on Osvaldo's cart and agreed. Then the padré wanted the church moved for Mass. Then one of the shop keepers asked for help fixing their shop's door and...Yeah. It snowballed.

Luisa did not get a day off that day and she returned to Casita feeling diminished and stupid.

So here she was on her third day off, lying in a hammock and reading a book Tio Bruno and Papá recommended. It was very good; a romantic mystery with just enough comedic moments to not become completely grim and hopeless.

It wasn't until Luisa finished the book and began to make herself a snack that she realised most of the day had passed.

No one had bothered her. How strange. A good strange, but strange.

As if reading her mind, Casita suddenly moved the floor underneath her, shoving her from the kitchen and bringing her all the way to the front door, ignoring Luisa's gasps and cries of, "Whoa, Casita, calm down!"

The doors opened and Luisa did a double-take: Camilo was lounging in a deckchair, wearing sunglasses and sipping from a big glass of lemonade. He was even using a silly straw. There was a massive bag of sweets on the grass next to him and he was scribbling in his script notebook.

"Uh...Cami?" Luisa called. "Why're you out here?" Sure, he could relax wherever he wanted, but right by the front door seemed like a weird spot.

Camilo lowered his sunglasses to stare at her. "I'm your guard," he announced. "Keeping the idiots away."

"...Huh?"

"Just watch. Close the door and hide; you'll be able to see from the window."

Utterly lost, Luisa still did as he said. She went back inside and crouched so she could peer out of the shutters.

Soon enough, a man came walking up the path.

"Camilo!" he called. "Where's Luisa? I need her to move my furniture."

Luisa's eyelid twitched but what Camilo did next made her jaw drop. Her little cousin gave a world-weary sigh and set his glass and notebook aside. He took off his sunglasses and his face suddenly contorted to monstrous proportions; he even grew fangs. His mouth was far too big, his eyes were glowing red and his nails became claws. His nose vanished, replaced with a slit like a snake.

Luisa shuddered at the sight but the man screamed as Camilo lurched towards him like a zombie, and he took off running.

"Sucker!" Camilo laughed, changing back to his usual self. Still laughing, he returned to his seat.

Still a little in shock, Luisa rejoined him.

"Wow," she said blankly.

"Yeah," Camilo said smugly. He took an obnoxiously loud sip of his lemonade. "Works like a charm."

Do you normally not get your birthday celebrated? 

"Not really…my family runs a tailors and Halloween is like the busiest time of year for orders especially after Reda has expanded the business…If I'm lucky the simp might make my favourite dinner but normally it's kinder overshadowed…"

How about this year? 

"Well my main want is to have a great halloween with the rest of Ignihyde I guess if we get that I'm happy….not that I am a sappy person uuurgghh..." 

Any birthday memories? 

"Ehhh its always been full of busy work making last minute adjustments or dealing with fussy karens….though one year we had this magician come in when i was still a little tot…apparently he needed some adjustments to his big show costume so I was helping with the hem and he asked me what day it was and when I told him it was my birthday he gave me my first set of dice and taught me some dice tricks he was a fun guy though I forgot to get his name and sadly never had time to check out his shows… shame but I still have those dice there my super super lucky ones!" Any plans for the future? “Not really…I have to go help out in the family store after all. Got to love being shut in the basement and forced to work my life away in boredom…” You're joking right? Well what would you like to do?” “Umm…well if I could pick…I like to be a bug tester both in spells and technology. People hire hackers and virus makers to see if they can break their security on their systems and test the weaknesses. It’s doing what I do best but legally. Then I could use the money to expand and improve my bug habitats and maybe even do breeding for endangered species to help them recover.”

Ok some favourite food? 

"Sour gummy worms totally are the best. It always makes people do a double take if they look more realistic too hahaha. I guess there's also the simps stew too that always hits right especially during the rainy season. I have a slow cooker in my room to make it every now and then. I sometimes will make a huge batch for the dorm when people need a bit of a pick me up!"

Least favourite food? 

"Urgh coffee it's so bitter….how can people drink it? I added like fifthteen sugars and milk and it still tasted nasty…I'll pass thanks there's other ways to get caffeine!"

Who would you bring to a deserted island? And the person can not be someone from your dorm! 

"You knew Ortho would have been the easiest pick…well I guess it's still not a hard question to answer. Kalen. With his unique magic I'm sure he will do all the heavy lifting while I sit back and wait for rescue..maybe even see what insects live on this island. And Kalen is at least tolerable to be stuck with and worse case there's plenty of muscle if food sources become short kek /jk!"

"Hmm can I pick Ramshackle? Hehe the ran down house is perfect for wild certain wild bugs I would love to have a even bigger room to house my collection in and it's quiet not filled with many people so peaceful…though…would the internet be decent…might need to speak to Idia about installing fibre optic if I was to move though I guess if Ramshakle doesn't count Diasomnia seems alright. It is not lively like the other dorms or stuffy so I could keep to myself easily there…and Ember is there too so we can play games in the evenings. I guess green is also more my colour then blue...."
