I love my job, but I do feel a little out of place there, being the only one who hasn’t basically dedicated my life to Ice-types. There’s so much to learn, and it can be pretty intimidating!

So I’ve mentioned before that the way I incorporated Hisui into Max’s lore is by killing her, yeah? Idk if I ever actually got into how it happened (when I posted that abandoned fic snippet a while back it had a scene based off it, but! This is the shortened version. Also I think I deleted that I’ve gotta check)

So basically when Jacq calls you in ScarVio saying “hey, don’t go to the black crystals, dummy!!!” Max took that as a challenge. It was a year or two post-grad and she went in with Nemona, thinking it would be easy beans since they’re both so strong. Unfortunately, the pokemon has an electric tera type and sent an attack straight for Nemona rather than to her pokemon.

Max jumped and pushed Nemona out of the way, but couldn’t really save herself, and she got FRIED lmao. She was in a dark place though and almost kind of just accepted it? Like she wanted Nemona to live on because she saw Nemona’s life as more valuable (which ik is fucked but like when I say Max is mentally in shambles I’m not messing around)

I’m probably gonna retcon it for the next game by being like “lol jk it was a coma!!!!!” but we’ll see

Hmm while she is a strong trainer, Max can be super soft and meek too, so she'd like.. Gently mom-friend the shit out of Morgan wolegnksdv

I did some digging into Morgan's tag and I think, given how much older she is (she's in her late 20's in Paldea/30ish by the time she's out of Uva), she'd just want to do her best to be a good friend but also a shoulder to cry on and whatnot if he needs it. Like, she'd make sure he drinks enough water and eats well, and maybe would carry extra snacks like granola bars and Gatorade (or the Pokemon equivalent???) and whatnot for him if and when they travel together for his story quest

I'm not sure if Morgan would necessarily be perceptive to any of this, but Max would just do her best to be there for him in whatever way she can :') I'd love to know your thoughts/HCs on how it would go too!! OC interactions are so fun
