Does Mike suffer from any after effects after being enslaved for so long? Like he’s going to be super exhausted and starving but does he have nightmares and stuff too from his experience?

I think the only thing he has nightmares about is hurting his friends, because he had little to no awareness under the brainwashing, so it's like those few weeks were just gone. Blipped right out of his memory. But I think he knows that he was fighting his friends and essentially trying to kill them, so I think he ends up with nightmares of harming his friends or even actually killing them. He probably doesn't sleep for a while, despite being severely fatigued from having no rest for weeks while being brainwashed.

I think seeing them makes him really anxious, because all he can picture is himself hurting them really bad or killing them, so when one of them one of them approaches him it causes him to cringe really hard and even feel a little sick. He hates feeling that way in their presence, but part of him is paranoid that he may somehow succumb to brainwashing again and actually manage to kill one of them, despite not being around the magician or his mind controlling ear piece

aaaaaah I can give you lore, yes indeed~

....well okay there's not much of the lore, but there is indeed some lore about Avon being a werewolf. they actually were friends with a werewolf in their early teens - the other werewolf acted pretty much exactly like Avon did before their reveal to Aniketos, being friendly and chill and just a good friend with Avon during the month and disappearing over the full moon. Avon had no idea about the werewolf thing until, like Aniketos, they decided to confront their friend and followed after them one full moon and

got bit. really badly

it was a small miracle that Avon survived, but when they recovered, their family was very much 'we know what happened, and we love you, but you need to leave for your safety and ours' so Avon got on the road and stayed there, never feeling comfortable enough to settle in a different town. it was all too easy for them to get into a tradition of running off into the middle of the nearest woodland every month. it felt safer, and they never wanted to inflict the damage that was dropped on themself

that's a thing! they never blamed their old friend for being a werewolf! they were hurt that their friend chose to lash out on them and badly hurt them when they tried to communicate. they don't fear being a werewolf necessarily, they were afraid about others lashing out or running away because of it.

Avon does decent work as a hunter thanks to their shapeshifting capability (they are able to turn into a werewolf or wolf form at will), and never had any fear about not being able to protect themself. the only reason Aniketos found them in their injured state was because one bandit archer had a stash of silver arrowheads on his arrows and they were extra vulnerable because of it
