kamusta ka? nakakapag-blog ka pa ba?

Minsan sa sobrang busy nakakalimutan mong may blog ka pala. Minsan nakakalimutan mong may ipopost ka pala. Ang daming pending, daming utang tag post, daming dapat ayusin tulad ng theme sa blog mo, mga blog buttons (uso pa ba yun?), etc. Ano ba update sa Tumblr ngayon? Parang antagal ko nang hindi nakadalaw dito. Matagal tagal na rin na hindi ako nakapag check ng posts at blog niyo.

Parang and dami ngang bago sa Tumblr. Hindi ko na alam kung ano. Wala naman akong may natatanggap kasi na notifications. Hindi ko alam kung my bagong followers ba ako o unfollowers. Hindi na talaga ako updated. Nakakalungkot isipin na parang outdated na talaga ako. Pero okay lang yun. Masaya naman ako sa kasalukuyang life ko. Kahit hindi na nakakapag update dito, alam kong may mga taong naaalala pa rin ako. Teka! Oo nga pala. Naaalala niyo pa ba ako? hahaha. Siguro karamihan hindi na. Pero may mga kaibigan talaga ako dito sa Tumblr na patuloy pa rin kaming nagchichikahan at nagkakamustahan. Alam niyo naman kung sino kayo. :)

May trabaho na nga pala ako. yahoo! I-congratulate niyo naman ako. Biro lang. Happy lang ako. Salamat sa mga taong sumuporta sa akin lalo na sa Iyo Jesus. ^^

April 1 ngayon, April Fool’s Day. Sigurado marami na namang buntis “daw”, may nabuntis “daw”, kakabreak lang “daw”, namatay “daw, aksidente “daw”, at kung anu-anu pa ngayon. Nabiktima ka ba? Ako hindi pa. Ayoko. Parang nonsense. Taon-taon nalang iyan ang mga sinasabi ng iba kung friends sa FB. Paulit-ulit. hahaha.

Ooppss! Napahaba yata post ko. Actually dumaan lang naman ako para makapag-update ng blog ko. Antagal kong nawala. Matagal nga ba? Ba’t ba ako nag-taTagalog? ayay! Eh, walala ako sa mood mag-English. Ayoko namang mag-Ilonggo kasi kunti lang nakakaintindi. Okay lang at least sulat o type lang pagtaTagalog ko. Huwag lang ako magsalita dahil awkward pa rin pakinggan. Minsan nga napapaisip ako kung ano kaya reaction ng ibang tao pag narinig akong nagsasalita nun, noh? Paranoid ako minsan. Pag nagsasalita ako tinatanong nila agad kung Ilongga ako. Sabay tanong naman ako na, “Bakit? Pangit ba pakinggan?”. Siyempre sasabihin nila, “Hindi. Ang lambing mo kasing magsalita.” Awwww.. talaga ba? Sana nga totoo. hahaha.. O siya. Sige na. Bago ako magpaalam, gusto ko lang sabihin na.. “KAMUSTA KA? NAKAKAPAG-BLOG KA PA BA?”

PHOTO FRAMES | LIFE WITH PENS & COLORS v.2 + D-I-Y v.3

I’ve been inspired lately to do some DIY’s for it is less expensive and almost free. I am not that creative but I have that thing to arts and crafts. I made this while I was on a Christmas vacay in Iloilo. I wanna make the most of my time productive there. These can be put in your room or you can them in your walls.

I bought those vintagey frames last year in a very cheap price while I was still in Iloilo. I love collecting vintage frames. I have been wanting to display my frames in my room but I don’t have any idea on what to put. I researched some good photos but I don’t like any until I saw some verses while browsing then tadaaa.. ha! I really had fun doing this. The feeling was great. I put those frames in my room to remind me every morning and upon entering my room of God’s presence. But sadly I have to leave so soon. It’s okay. ☺️ My favorite one is that silhoutte of the girl which is me. hihi.. and yes! God is within me.

So instead of buying expensive frames and photos why not do something like this? ^^ Let’s be creative and inspire others. Go and make yours too.

AJ's 7th BIRTHDAY - A LEGO PARTY | D-I-Y v.2

Hello again guys. So ahhm.. I’m back! This entry is some DIY's I have made for my nephew's 7th birthday. He loves LEGO so much that he wants this to be the theme to his birthday. My sister and I have been planning his birthday since last year but we haven’t came up with much ideas yet until a week before his birthday came. And since LEGO decors is very rare to find here, I have decided to make it DIY in which they all agreed (as long as I will be the one to make them and thanks for their help.haha). So in order to make his birthday LEGO-like I did some research first so that I will be having lots of ideas and also to make his party a legit one. hihi..

So here are the photos (and of some DIY’s) I have taken during the party:

INVITATION:

CAKE:

We were so happy to have found some cool Lego cake from the Junsay’s. We found their shop at Facebook and good to know that they are Ilonggo’s too. Thank you Sheryl and Jason for this awesome cake. Everybody likes it plus it tastes delicious. So cute that I can’t stop taking photos of it.

LOOT BAGS:

Simple loots bags with THANK YOU card.

WORKBOOK:

I downloaded the free workbook from One Mama’s Daily Drama Blog and converted it to Microsoft word.

DECORS:

Those square ones wrapped in lego wrapper are strawberry flavored chocolate candies.

Number “7” which I hang at the gate.

PHOTO BOOTH:

Made some Lego backdrop, frame, photobooth and huge lego bricks.

PIÑATA:

Everybody’s excited to try out the LEGO Piñata.

PARTY:

I made some name tags too like what this little cute girl is wearing. She is Bea our neighbor in Batangas.

And yes this is our birthday boy, my nephew..AJ (with spaghetti sauce all over his mouth).

The party ended successfully and everybody’s happy. Thank you to those who have made this event a memorable especially to my cousins who helped us out.

Our 130th

2 months to go until our 11th year together. But today is our 130th month together. As what I always say, I am beyond blessed for having him. I truly can’t express the joy I am feeling.

Since today he has work, we celebrated it yesterday. We had a mini travel along Taguig and Alabang and just ate in a “Pares” eatery. Simple things, Little things. That’s how we do it.

I love you as always and that will be forever. God is really awesome. Ha!

*I wish we can have our own simple photoshoot someday.haha 😜

Just MANDALS

Aloha! It’s been a while. You know “MANDALS”, right? I won’t tell you what those are because I bet you already know or heard about them and you even own a pair or more. I don’t usually go with the trend but mandals has captured my heart. I remember my childhood days when I used to wear those too (*whispers – and with socks..haha). I wore man-like shoes before (is there such word?), from school shoes, sandals, etc. I do even have those topsider and loafer-like shoes.  And man! My father used to bought shoes for us so..yeah!  *grins*

I was so excited upon knowing that they are on trend now (since 2014 I think?). Yay! I seldom buy sandals for I love wearing shoes (sneakers, oxfords, brogues). But this mandals has something that I can’t resist. My first pair of mandals (after long years) is the one I bought from Charcoal. I love how comfortable it is and it really fits my ugly feet. Hihi.. (I gave this to my sister) and then I fell in love with Primadonna’s white mandals. I rarely use this one since it is white (especially the outsole. *Haha). Then another Charcoal finds. So it is black-white-black. And just this year, I bought another pair from SM Parisian (Solemate). I really love how comfy it is to my feet.

I love how you can wear and pair them on your got-to-go outfit since I am like that. I don’t normally dress up like what girly girls do. I just grab my pants or shorts then with a t-shirt on. Also this is perfect for today’s crazy changing weather especially here in MM. Loving its stylish, unique and chic look. Not too bulky, so classy and elegant. And a great pair for both sexes. It seems like anything goes with mandals. I want more of this. ^^

Nothing is perfect and we all know it. My 2014 has been bittersweet. I honestly don't like what my 2014 was like. Been jobless for more than nine months so no earnings and Jeff too (for 3 months only), been rejected and failed for so many times, my ear condition still not solved, my Grandpa was hospitalized thrice and died, my father's not here for Christmas ang New Year to join us, and so many sad things and problems happened. I almost gave up and lost hope and almost lost my faith, but NO! Despite all of these I know God has prepared something better for me. My God is big and He keeps His promises. It will be better soon and that I know. ☺️ I have come to realized at some point that God has blessed me with so many things. I finally had a job eventhough I am still a reliever nurse (yay!), was able to met new true friends, was able to spend time with Jeff and enjoy things we haven't done before, happy that we do have a generous family in MNL that everything is free and we stayed with them with freedom, I learned to be independent, realized so many things in life, Jeff spent his Christmas vacation with me and my family here in ILO, and many more. I feel blessed everytime I remember all of these. ha! God really has something for each one of us if we only know how to wait. We must learn to trust and seek Him. Always pray and pray. It is powerful. I will leave my 2014 with a big smile saying "Thank you and Goodbye!". I welcome 2015 with arms wide open. I pray that God will give me a better year. More blessings and joy. Thank You, Lord for being so wonderful. Thank You for your unending and undying love. I LOVE YOU! "Beautiful things takes time"

I have always wanted to have a clear case for my ipod but haven’t found one. Until I have spotted one and luckily the sides is my favorite color too..mint green. ^^
