When he had long crossed the line of no return, trekked through the lands of the deep darkness and thought he could never see the light on this murky and darkened path again; you appeared. Standing along side him with a soft smile on your face. You had reached out your hand and shown him a path that was just a tad brighter. You had given him hope that there still was a way. A trail leading away from the dust coated and bloody one he’s been treading for oh, so long. And Thatch is forever grateful for you standing by his side, believing in him and opening his eyes to a world full of beauty he has never seen before…

Thatch been treasuring the days and weeks of you together even closer to his chest. You looked at this damaged and ruined man among so many other choices and said “yes, this is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

And Thatch been curious what he looks like in your eyes because you look at him as if he’s the stars lassoed from the sky and placed in the palms of your hands. You look at him like he did when he saw his first ever sunrise and sundown. You look at him as if he’s the most precious and beautiful thing in the world and you can’t believe he’s yours to hold, yours to love, yours to keep. Thatch been looking in the mirror, but no matter how hard or how long he looked he couldn’t see it.

But one day, he saw a tiny fraction of what you saw in him. It left him vulnerable and sensitive by the overstimulation. And it all started with a single kiss…

Thatch cannot for the life of him remember what happened before the kiss or after. All he can remember is the kiss itself, and oh, his entire body starts to tingle, his knees start to go weak just at the thought.

He remembers your eyes staring into his with so much love, love for him only, seeing everything he is and loving it. He remembers your hands, softly, gently resting upon his arms, giving a soft squeeze to ease the nerves, to reassure him. He remembers the touch of your warm breath fanning across his teeth, leaving behind a tickle of warmth, sending a wave of thrill through his bone marrow coursing towards his soul and fueling it with fluttering butterflies. He remembers the soft press of your lips upon his mouth, the warmth that flooded him, the sparks that created a storm of bliss. All that existed faded away like watercolors under rain, leaving behind only him and you. He remembers the tingling fire that spread all throughout his entire being. His soul that sung out to the heaven, begging to be released because the love and adoration and the intimate touch of your lips was all too much to bear.

A whimper consisting of only an escaping sigh resembling that of both a dehydrated man tasting the wonderful creation of water for the first time in so long, and a man whose hunger finally been satiated after weeks or even months of nothing to eat. Thatch remembers his knees giving in and him toppling backwards, falling against the wall behind him, forcefully yet unwillingly breaking the kiss. He doesn’t remember what happened after, mid blank by the overwhelming and addictive feeling of your adoration for him.

However, you had remembered what he looked like. Having burned the image in the back of your mind.

Thatch had looked absolutely drunk, eyelights flaring in a bright yet dark pink, the dots fully formed into hearts. Chest raising and falling in fast ragged breaths. He had looked so delectably precious that if you didn’t have half the mind to let this absolute treasure of a skeleton recover from his love drunk state, you wouldn’t have been able to resist getting another taste.

question about King! is he interested in theatre and acting like Pyre is, or is that not really his scene anymore? and did he ever try to play the guitar like Pyre?

King (Horrorfell Papyrus) does still enjoy theater, but has fully lost his appetite for acting himself. He already lies to himself and everyone else daily, no reason to add another layer to it...

As for his bass... well, yes, he still has it. One of a few sentimental items he allowed himself to bring up from the Underground, but he doesn't... he hasn't touched the thing in ages.

After his growth spurt, it's probably too small now anyway, all of his marrow-memory of how to position his fingers is going to be all wrong. To be able to play it again, he'd practically have to learn all over again, from scratch! Frivolous, a waste of time, he shouldn't bother...

...which is to say, he looks at it longingly very often and feels a lot of ways about it, but is in the habit of denying himself a lot of the things that used to bring him joy because he doesn't feel he deserves to be happy if he can't assign a measurable benefit to it (for someone besides himself).

His zen garden is alright, because it calms his temper, his physical therapy work is good because it helps other people with their pain and mobility, even feeding water fowl is acceptable sometimes because living creatures get to eat and won't go hungry. But if it's for him only--his bass, tailored fashion, more chess sets than could be reasonably appropriate for entertaining guests--well... does he deserve to have that? Really?

The answer he usually comes up with is 'NO.'

How would Hound and Pyre, as well as Mutt and Black, react to meeting someone who likes to touch people? Like patting your arm/shoulder when making a joke or giving hugs to show their appreciation. And would their reaction change if the skellies were in a relationship with this person?

Hound (HF Sans):

He’s sensitive around strangers

And by sensitive I mean hyper aware and aggressive

If a complete stranger were to come up and touch him he’d defiantly glare down at him.

Which is pretty terrifying considering he’s like 6’5 and has a sharp metal jaw. If it’s a good day, he might just shove you off and growl, if it’s a bad day for him then he’s likely to lash out

Which again you don’t really want considering he usually wields a giant friggin axe, even on the surface

Buuuuttttt if you’re his s/o or a highly trusted friend, he’s not gonna be so mean

Na, he might jump or growl a little, especially if you caught him off guard, but that’s just instinct. Hound doesn’t really mean it.

if he really likes you, you’ll get a tight hug back; and he’s not putting you down

Hounds an affectionate guy once you get to know him.

Speaking’s hard for hound so it can often be the only way to express himself

Pyre (HF papyrus)

Unlike hound, pyre has much more self control, in that he won’t flip you into a headlock the minute you touch him

But he’s definitely going to be disgruntled

If you’re a stranger prepare for your arm to be twisted very painfully as he loudly seethes about how disgusting humans are and how impolite they can be

Internally, pyres a little freaked out. The only person that he’s allowed to touch him in a long time is Hound

But if you’re in a relationship with him??

Okay he’ll still be a little disgruntled but he won’t shove you off,

Maybe still scold you, especially if you’re in public

Black (SF red sans):

Isn’t a fan of touch,

In the underground such casual touches either meant you were quite close or the more touchy person held more power and respect than the other

So he’s gonna see it as a slight

He’ll grab at your hand before it can even connect with his shoulder. Squeezing tightly enough to make you wince in pain

If your his partner then he’s a lot nicer lol

Black doesn’t like to say it out loud, but he does love physical touch.

He leans into your touch, just ever so slightly

If you tease him, poor black will be blushing so hard

Mutt (SF red papyrus):

He’s gonna be the one doing casual touches,

Even if your a stranger, and this is happening in the underground. Hell yeah he’ll wrap his arm around your shoulder or lean up against you

There’s not really a lot you can say or do to stop him. Considering he’s got Black for a brother and he’s pretty strong himself

He’d probably find it amusing if a complete stranger was so causal with him. It’s his job to make people uncomfortable!!!

If you’re in a relationship with him, he is eating that touch up!!

Seriously loves it, if you’re not careful he’ll end up pulling you into his lap for some nap cuddles

And then you’re stuck there until either he wakes up or black finally drags you off him

After skele rocks his s/o's world in the bedroom, and he/she follows them around like a puppy with dreamy eyes, nuzzles and constant little touches

Sans: well sans is well known for not being a high energy monster. There isn’t much to follow since normally he conks out once he and SO finish lol. SO can get their nuzzles in through a cuddly nap. If he’s somehow still awake and gets to see SOs dreamy eyes, you’ll have quite the bashful bonefriend on your hands.

Papyrus: honestly same. Papyrus gets some serious post nut bouts of affection as well and will be equally nuzzly with his beautiful sexy thoughtful cuddly great smelling datemate! He’s chatty, and as SO follows him around, he’s singing their praises

Oak: oh he’s gone. Doing the horizontal tango with his SO works better on oak than any sleeping pill ever could. This boy is deep into slumberland right now. But there is a silver lining, oak tends to hold onto things in his sleep. Usually it’s just the blankets, but if SO positions themselves right, they’ll get to be a very comfy little spoon.

Red: yall red is a total horn dog. If SOs gonna give him all that affection right after the nasty, you can guarentee he’s aiming for a round 2. Or maybe a round 3 if SO can handle it ;). ….. no round 4. He’s not Superman lol. After that round 3 red is pretty much in the same state as SO now.

Edge: oh this strokes his ego so much. He’s preening at the proof that edge is the best lover! Of course his SO keeps sending him those loving looks! He did his datemately duty of making their life even better! He deserves a reward! Edge demands more nuzzles!

Rust: sadly he doesn’t have the stamina of his non-famine counterpart. Rust goes in for a brief round 2 and is pretty much done with life for the day. SO now has a tired and slightly achy, but affectionate and pleased datemate. At least with how sweet SO is, he’s sure he’s doing a good job.

Noir: oh he’s glad SO is so easy to read afterwards. With his limited.. mobility, sometimes he worries he doesn’t do enough to please them. A SO like this is very reassuring for noir. He indulges their nuzzles with lots of smooches in return.

Wine: and rock SOs world he did. Wine is one of the rougher skeletons in bed, so he’s rather impressed SO isn’t taking a snooze right now. He did give them a workout after all lol. Wine goes about his day with a soft smile, enjoying SOs antics. Sometimes when things are quiet, he’ll give SO a smooch and a teasing promise for more later ;)

Coffee: oh jeez, you’re killing him SO! The easiest way to turn coffee on is through praise or attention. He likes having his ego stroked lol. Coffee is so frustrated right now, and wishing he was a lust monster so he could act on what he wants to do again. Alas though! He’s been through exhausted for the day! He’ll have to settle with a lot of aggressive smooches until SO gets their brains back.

I would like to see your take on how horrorfell sans would look like, if it ain't a problem!

I would say HF Sans i dont have many ideas for, minus his brother HorrorFell Sans; The Puppet. Considering you are wanting to see a Horror mixed with Fell, id assume its ALOT more grim. Sans was probably slaughtered by his brother, most likely by accident. Maybe a fight over food broke out, Sans got desperate, and poor Doom Fanger(F!Paps cat) was cooked. Sans now spends his day, hidden away in some post out in the woods. Half his face gone from a blast, body only staying together due to the messed up magic of the mad scientist.

Papyrus, on the other hand, is my more favorite idea, even tho i know you didnt ask abt him xD I had the idea he would have he overall creepy vibe, instead of the shock value Sans has. His head is chopped off, and his legs were broken, but healed in a messed up, contorted way. ( had an idea he has rlly long fingers too ) Reasons for his head being cut clean off, is Undyne battling too hard to gain control. She wanted to lead, but papyrus was persistent . He spends his time wondering the forest, he depends hugely on touch, he cannot hear, he can barely see, therefore he can only wonder the same rout he used to all the time with his brother.

I read your yandere post and I was thinking, hmm idkkk, I can't imagine a situation where skeletons like vanilla, blue, and nsb papyrus would become yandere 🤔 they're just too adorable. maybe even Edge and Black too since they have a degree of level headedness and pride that could prevent it from happening. everyone else... pretty fair game 😏

But my main question is, if a prank war were to break out, who would you place money on them losing first, and who do you think would win?

Goodmornin! I won't deny, it would be hard but among those you say might, you're including older versions of those you say would not. I mean...in the end, it's all a matter of circumstance.

For losing:

HF Sans- he just doesn't care, like, at all.

For winning:

It'd definitely vary a lot, I don't think there's anyone who would win regularly. But...

I'm gunna say...

HLF Papyrus (Wax)- because he's not challenging anyone, he's fading into the background to let everyone else duke it out before taking out the last few. He's got a nice level head, he's not over confident or too lazy, and that gives him a big advantage.

Shouts of laughter rose above the hum of the approaching tractor as it pulled another group back to the start of the trail. Monsters and humans waited patiently in the boarding line as returning children rushed past, hurrying off the ‘hayride’s’ trailer with their parents ambling after in varying states of fond exhaustion.

A couple nearby were taking photos, laughing almost as giddily as the children while they situated pumpkins around their terrier dog in his little matching costume. Others stopped to watch them in curiosity or amusement before turning back to their own tasks, be it heading to the farm’s shop or making their way to one of the vendor stalls.

With the scent of cooking sugar and damp soil mingling on a slow, crisp breeze, the scene could’ve aptly been described as the very essence of October. Or at least as he’d come to know it in his time on the surface.
