I'm tossing up this being Bucktommy or Buddie but for you, I'll do Buddie 🫶

Buck and Eddie have just gone on their first date and they go back to Eddie's house. Initially it's just for some beer and some video games because they aren't sure how to navigate the new changes in their relationship and are both a little awkward, and video games are familiar territory for them.

Buck knows he should go home, he can't stay over after their first date because he doesn't want to rush this, but Eddie keeps scooting closer to him, and he feels Eddie's arm loop over his shoulders, pulling him against his chest.

Buck lets himself relax in Eddie's arms because it's been years of yearning for this, he's allowed to enjoy it. But it's getting later, and Buck's eyes are getting heavier, and Eddie's brushing kisses over his cheeks and nose ears and neck, and he really should to home.

He says as much to Eddie, who whines and holds him closer. They're thoroughly tangled up on the couch, truly two halves of one whole, and Buck decides fuck it, a little longer won't hurt, right?

They end up falling asleep together on the couch and even though they wake up stiff as two boards from the position, they couldn't be happier.

Not me realizing that a man breaking into my house is the source of all my stalker dreams and all my breaking and entering dreams and all my late night paralyzing anxieties about someone being in my house uninvited. Duh.

If there's one thing no professional interior designer can ever truly emulate, it's maximalism. Sure, you can put together a bold and loud-coloured room with daring patterns and a creative colour scheme, and a cute and quirky gallery wall with a fun and funky theme to it, but a real maximalist home always has some element that is simply fucked up. Like the ugliest goddamn piece of furniture you've ever seen, some piece of decor that makes you wonder why the fuck would anyone want that in their house. Your eyes land on it and your instant reaction is "thanks, I hate it." And it's at home in this household, it literally could not fit in and look like it belongs anywhere else.

That's the spirit of maximalism. Someone's instinctive talent of locating the most hideous kitchy porcelain hippo lamp that anyone has ever seen, and going "ooh, your place is in my living room."

And miraculously, somehow being correct.

•he asks some of his friends first if they know why exactly it is why you do this, but they just assure him, “oh y/n is always sleepy!” that answer wasn’t good enough for him tho,,

•he finds you in the weirdest spots sleeping too, like this one time where you were just,,, laying on the ground while holding a plant. he watched you for a bit and just shook you up, he def walked you home as you were back on the verge of sleep.

•another time, you were gone for the WHOLE day, everyone was looking for you, poor julie was sobbing as if she lost her kid just already putting up posters of you,, but nope, howdy found you sleeping in one of the cabinets in his shop. how did you even get there?? you got a scolding for sure, how was that even comfy?

•wally took the opportunity to ask you a question, you were just laying your head on a table, again (for what seemed to be the millionth time) on the verge of hitting the hay. he asked you why exactly were you tired 24/7? he didn’t understand! it was just a silly concept to him, sleeping all of the time. even if he tried, he could never sleep with the house on his mind.

•you just simply replied, “why not?” wally hummed in fascination and watched you for the rest of the time you were about to sleep. but you were a bit talkative that day, so whatever came on your mind you talked about it to wally.

•after that wally admired how much you just didn’t care for much, you were just in your own little world.

•he DEFINITELY wanted to paint you too, you had no problem letting him. he just told you to sleep, definitely wasn’t an issue for you.

•he woke you up for,, maybe about a hour or two? and showed you an absolute masterpiece, you just sleeping. you loved it, and put it up on your wall. he still kept sketching and drawing you from time to time, i mean you were just still, a simple person to draw for sure!

•he also makes sure you don’t end up anywhere to crazy to sleep, its like he keeps tabs on you. its like if you were just walking somewhere, he just tugs on your hand and is like, “no, this way, silly!” he’s like a guide, making sure you don’t end up back into the river situation,,

•he totally wouldn’t mind if you laid your head on his shoulder; or anywhere on him honestly. he wouldn’t bat an eye if you leaned on him and just hit snooze. wally will continue talking to whoever, still making sure you’re fine. he’d rather have this than you accidentally sleeping on the roof or somewhere dangerous.

•wally finds himself giggling at the silliest things you do or say. like; why are you talking about hippos all of sudden? weren’t you just asleep?

•if he wants some quiet time to himself but not be completely alone. he def goes to you, maybe it’s because you’re sleepy but you’re just calm half of the time too. he also likes to ask you for suggestions on what to paint or draw next, you just mumble out the most random of things. you’re like a spinning wheel! to him at least,,

•you for sure were an interesting character in his book, so goofy. a good friend to despite you sleeping daily.

•definitely watches you 24/7, he doesn’t wanna let you go or leave you be. like before, he’s your guide to not falling in a brook. hell, he’ll even carry you around if you’re that tired. the neighbors look at you both and go, “oh look there goes wally and y/n!” as he just carries you around. :]

•theres always quiet moments between you two, you’re probably just snoring on his bed as he sketches,, well probably you. he always has some sort of art for you, pottery, paintings, whatever he can do, he did it for you.

•he’s also noticed how despite you being sleepy, you always try to make sure you talk to him. you’re just on the verge of sleeping yet again as you talk to him about this type of frog you saw early ago. wally really notices the little things. <3

•he gets all gushy and happy whenever you lean on him as a pillow or something. literally he just wants to grab you and just run away. but he keeps it in as he wraps his arm around you. even so, you can still notice the adoration in his eyes. a whole ass gentleman too, he WILL never move when ur sleeping on him. he shushes some people to, likee shhhh my boo is sleeping.

•to be honest, wally sleeps not so often, he definitely does more now that you help him. but whenever he just can’t close his eyes or anything, he watches you. and how peaceful you are, and he gets confused. how can you sleep so much? waking up to wally staring at you with those big old eyes is both scary yet endearing. you ask him what’s going on with him and hes just like, “you’re so peaceful, can’t help but keep this sight of you all to myself.” wit those big eyes,,

•ack,, okay so he for sure def whispers to you or something whenever you’re tired. he just perks his head to you and just whispers ever so softly, as if you’re already sleeping. even when you’re dead asleep he’ll whisper some stuff. if you’re lucky enough, you’ll probably hear him.

•SPEAKING of whispering and such, he def sings you asleep. as if it was hard enough for you to do so,, but still, legit you LOVE it when he sings to you. his voice is soo soft and listening to it is just, hhhhh, makes you malfunction at times.

•he still finds you at random places too, he quickly picks you up and just wakes you up. he’s all like, “oh, what are you doin here :)?” while ur kinda like ,, “hh”

•if you have any trouble trying to stay awake he helps you def, tries to at least. if you drink caffeine to help you out with it, he’s all for it. but makes sure you don’t over step it, can’t have his lover too hyper! he also tries to have you have a normal sleep schedule (if you want ofc) but if it doesn’t work than it’s perfectly fine,, you guys will find smth to help you out. ♡︎

I had to look up what brainrot means and I don't have any, he's not on my mind all the time.

You ever have a character that you just... Don't want anyone to pick apart? Like, you have head cannons but you don't want to share them because you don't want other people to meddle because that's, like, your emotional support character? No other opinions are valid except yours cause they're so dear to you? Don't even ship them with anyone because you have them on a pedestal? That's Lewis, to me.

Like if we were ranking faves, Lewis wouldn't even be on the chart because he is such an enigmatic force of perfection, to me, that there's no comparison.

The most I'll share, is he'd make a phenomenal commander. He's wise, intelligent, practical, observant, blunt yet kind, aggressive yet controlled, passionate and reliable.

Li Ling and Tang Xuan might be power houses, but I cannot see them as commanding presences. Li Ling is the type to resent any commanding roles and Tang Xuan would crumble under the pressure. They both excel as loose canons... handled by Lewis. And this goes hand-in-hand with their dieties, if anyone thinks I'm downplaying them. Nezha was a loose canon and then became a formidable soldier under the Emperor's heavenly army under his general father. Sun Wukong enjoyed being looked up to and did his duty to serve and protect his subordinates and friends, but his "strategy" always involved him soloing his adversaries, even when he journeyed with other capable fighters. In dislyte universe, Li Ling hates authority because of the rules and expectations that come with it, which he finds restricting. Tang Xuan stretches himself too thin, constantly trying to serve and serve others to the point where he overlooks many areas he isn't protecting and it stresses him out. They'd make horrible commanders, unless they suddenly went through a personality shift. And I do mean, horrible commanders, because it would drain them everyday and kill their mental health, regardless if they're able to keep a public front or not.

But Lewis? Even his backstory covers so many facets to building a great commander. He has bad penmanship, but puts in the effort and dedication to practise and improve on it. He takes on charges under his crew, the Iron Fists, and uses what he learns in the Union to better his own leadership capabilities with them. He doesn't see his sister leaving as a failure on his part, he recognises that the decisions he made were done out of necessity and now he can only work towards making it not in vain and becoming the man his sister can respect, again. And if she doesn't, then at the very least he is constantly improving for himself. He doesn't get caught up in the glory of things, like when him and Li Ling were trending and Li Ling was trying to capitalise on the fame. Lewis only agreed and was excited by the prospect because it would provide more spotlight to his crew and make him look more dependable.

He's not flashy, not spectacular, but he's consistent, firm, and confident. He self reflects, he self accepts, he shows self care and he grows.

I really enjoyed writing this. *I once bought a cute, stuffed purple Hippo from the Hallmark store.

The way Scaramouche saw it, he could spend his money on whatever he wanted. And what he wanted to spend it on was you. He enjoyed spending it on you.

You clung to him in a way that validated him. You were patient, kind, and loving. All things he not only wasn't used to, but didn't know they existed all that much until he met you.

There was something entirely adorable about the way you waffled about wanting to ask him for something. You would fidget with your fingers, look at him and look away shyly back at whatever it was you wanted.

In this case, it was a cute stuffed animal you saw in a shop that primarily made greeting cards*.

"What? What does my sweet girl want?" Scaramouche couldn't help but ask, stroking a hand down your hair. The shy blush that dusted your cheeks made you look twice as cute. He raised an eyebrow as you looked up at him.

"Well I.." You begin, looking at the stuffed animal the window again for a moment.

Scaramouche sighed, but not in an annoyed way. It felt like you were afraid he was gonna say no if you asked him for it. Didn't you know by now that whatever you wanted, you got? No matter what it is was.

You already had about four other bags with various things in them (which he insisted on carrying even though you told him you could carry them).

"Hm? What is it?" He ran his fingers through your hair. Scaramouche already knew what it was, he just wanted to say it.

"That stuffed dinosaur is just so cute. Especially the purple one," You smiled at the stuffed dinosaur with the long neck. It had quite possibly the derpest, googly-eyed expression he'd ever seen on a stuffed animal.

But it made you smile and you wanted it. So it was yours.

"They have them in two different colors. Do you want both?" Scaramouche asked, putting an arm around your waist as you walked with him in the store.

You shook your head, nuzzling your cheek against his chest. "No, just the purple one. But the blue is also really cute," You reached out a tapped your finger on the nose of the winged, blue stuffed dinosaur.

Needless to say, you walked out of the store with both of them.

"We have one more stop to make before we head home," Scaramouche said, watching you hug the blue stuffed dinosaur to your chest as he reached for your hand. He didn't want to make you let go of the dinosaur, so he opted for his arm around you, his hand tucked into your back pocket of your pants while you walked.

"I had a ring custom made for you. That ring you said you like the last time were there but you thought the diamonds were too big," He said to which you nodded and waited for him to continue, "I had them take the design of the ring and make one with smaller diamonds in it."

"Scara, oh my god, wasn't that expensive?" It was adorable the way you were fretting about the cost. The eyes of the jeweler had nearly popped out of his head when Scaramouche had paid in full instead of installments like most people would.

For you, it was always, without fail worth it.
